Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. This research entitled "Student Interest of Class X Sman 12 Pekanbaru Following Extracurricular Scout". The purpose of this research is to know the description of the students' interest in following the scout extracurricular, to know the description of the interest of the male students following the scout extracurricular, To know the description of the interest of the female students following the scout extracurricular, and to know the description of student interest Per Item Following Scout Extracurricular. Data collection tool in the form of questionnaire. Subjects used in this study amounted to 147 people. Determination of sample by using technique of Random Sampling. Data analysis was done by using percentage technique and Pearson product moment correlation. The results showed that general description of student interest, description of interest of male students, description of interest of female students, and description of student's interest per item following scout extracurricular are in high category.Keywords: Student Interest, Extracurricular, Scout

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SD 80 Bumbung by implementing cooperative learning model Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD). The subjects in this study were fifth grade students consisting of 12 male and 13 female with the heterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of three meetings and one-time Daily Deuteronomy (UH) which was held at the end of each cycle. This study also consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of observations indicate the teachers and students activities have performing well after the action. After UH held at the end of the cycle, the number of students who achieve a score is increase of KKM compare to the basic score. With this increasing, the results of research carried out showed that the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SD 80 Bumbung in the odd semester of the academic year 2013/2014.Keywords: Learning Processes, Results Learning Mathematics, Cooperative Learning, STAD, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the good interpersonal communication of beneficiaries with social workers at the Rumbai City Youth Development Board (PSBR), Pekanbaru. Based on observations on the Bina Remaja Social Institution, the following phenomena are encountered: 1. There are several recipients who are closed in doing interpersonal communication in social care institutions. 2. The existence of several beneficiaries do not care about the opinions of others in carrying out interpersonal communication. 3. The existence of several beneficiaries who provide a positive boost in the process of interpersonal communication 4. There is a positive assessment given by beneficiaries in the communication process so that beneficiaries feel comfortable in carrying out interpersonal communication. 5. There are several beneficiaries who carry out the communication process by distinguishing the other person in the social care institution. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were beneficiaries who were in the Teenage Community Development Center (PSBR) Rumbai, Pekanbaru. The sampling technique in this study used a probability sampling technique type of simple random sampling using the Slovin formula. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire instrument variable in the form of a questionnaire using a Likert scale consisting of five answer choices From the findings of this study, it can be seen that beneficiary interpersonal communication in the environment of Adolescent Community Development (PSBR) Tassel in Pekanbaru is high, this can seen from the Mean (3.67) and Standard Deviation (0.78) from the average research indicator. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the correlation learning motivation and self-regulated learning with physics learning result of class XI SMA Negeri 4 students Pekanbaru. Type of this research is correlational research. The sample in this study amounted to 64 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The of research instrument used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique us correlation product moment and multiple correlation. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a positive correlation between learning motivation (X1) with the learning result of physics (Y) which is proved rx1y = 0.465, Rx1y = 0.216, tcount = 4.136, (2) there is a positive correlation between self- regulated learning (X2) with the result of physics (Y) which is proved rx2y = 0.448, Rx2y = 0.201, tcount = 3.394, (3) there is a positive correlation between learning motivation (X1) and self-regulated learning (X2) with the learning result of physics (Y) which is proved rx1x2y = 0.553, Rx1x2y = 0.305, Fcount = 13.407. This study concludes that high learning motivation and self-regulated learning can improve physics learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Motivation, Self-Regulated Learning, Learning Result

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aimed to know the practicality level of Oersted experimental devices. This devices consist of experimental tool and Oersted experimental guidebook which were used as physics learning media in magnetism topic for senior high school students. The respondents of this research were 4 teachers and 30 of XII grade students from SMAN 1 Kampar and MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The data were obtained by using questionnaires which were given to the students after using the experimental devices. Descriptive analysis showed that the practicality of experimental devices was in very high category (mean scores 3,55 and 3,93). The analysis toward the parcticality of experimental guidebook was also categorized very high (mean scores: 3.64 dan 3.85). Based on that, Oersted experimental devices can be declared practical and eligible to use as physics learning media for senior high school studentsKey Words : Magnetism, Practicality, Oersted experimental devices.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the ability to write text reviews eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The problem in this research is the students are required to determine the steps preparing the review text and compose the text review of a work he saw. Students are usually less able to explain the advantages and disadvantages of a work yag diulasnya. This happens because the students do not know the structure of the review text and how to explain the advantages and disadvantages of a work. This study aimed to describe the ability to write the text reviews the structure and elements of text language review grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This research method is descriptive method that is used to describe the data that is associated with the ability to write text reviews eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The ability to write text reviews are scores or grades earned eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru to test the ability to write text review. Text reviews written by 1 of text, each of which contains the text and structure of the language elements of the review text. The structure of the written form of orientation, descriptive, interpretations and conclusions. Elements languages written in the form of adjectives attitudes, words or complex sentences, and words descriptive words opinions or views.Key Words: Writing and Text Reviews

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to look at the contribution of physical fitness on learning outcomes. The variables in this study are physical fitness as the independent variable (x) and learning outcomes as the dependent variable (y). This type of research is correlational. While a study is in SDN 9 Bengkalis District of Bengkalis. Population in this research is class IV and V as many as 55 people. Sampling using purposive sampling technique by setting the boys as the study sample as many as 34 people, data analysis in this study uses product moment correlation and linear regression coefficient determined her and further determination. Based on the calculation results of the analysis showed that physical fitness son (X), have a significant relationship and make a meaningful contribution to the learning outcomes (Y), P = 0.042> 0.05α. On the correlation table analysis, research data can be read that the relationship (correlation) with the physical fitness of learning outcomes worth 0350> r-tab 0339, meaning a strong relationship of physical fitness. Based on the strength of the relationship to the two variables, then the value of the regression equation can be described as follows: Y = 6242 + 0088 X, with Fhit 4472> Ftab 4.17 and Thit 2115> Ttab1.697. Thus the proposed working hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable. Furthermore, determination values obtained data analysis (r2) of 0.123. It means that physical fitness can only contribute 12.3% to the learning outcomes.Keywords : Physical Fitness, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by limited mathematics learning tools using learning approaches and models that can support learning in the curiculum 2013. The purpose of this research is to produce mathematical learning tools consist of syllabus, lesson plan and student worksheet that use learning discovery model in quadrilateral and triangular topic for valid students of junior high School and qualify the practicality requirement. The research method used is the ADDIE development model, which consists of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The research instrument used is validity instrument and practicality instrument. The validity instrument is a validation sheet to assess the feasibility of syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheet. The practicality instrument is in the form of observation sheet of learning process implementation and questionnaire of student response . Learning device developed are validated by three validators. The research trials were conducted in SMPN 17 Pekanbaru which is tested in a small group and large group. Small group trial aims to assess the practicability based on student response questionnaire, while the large group to assess the practicability based on the observation sheet of learning process implementation and student response questionnaire. Based on the data analysis, it can be conclude that the average value for syllabus are 4,6; lesson plans are 4,4; student worksheet are 4,4 from the 5,00 scale, so the resulting device is catagorized as very valid.. The student worksheet valued as very practical with mean score for small group and large group testing are 92,1% and 93,4%. The lesson plan also valued as very practical with mean percentage is 98,33%. These categories mean that the lesson plan and student worksheet are feasible to used in school.Key Words: Development Research, Mathematics Learning Tools, Discovery Learning Model, ADDIE Model

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the stylistics analysis on novel Kaze no uta o kike by Haruki Murakami. The purpose of this study was to knowing the figures of speech especially simile in this novel, to knowing lexical meaning and stylistics meaning. The object of research is figures in the novel Kaze no uta o kike was written Haruki Murakami. This study is qualitative descriptive by interpreting the object under study based on the theory of stylistics meaning proposed by Djajasudarma (2013). Data obtained by noted the figures simile sentence in the novel, to analyze it was in terms of the lexical meaning and stylistics meaning. From the result of research, in the novel Kaze no uta o kike there are 11 sentence that show figure of speech simile. Stylistics meaning contained in this simile figure of speech, tells about the social conditions that occurred around 1970 in Japan. At that time, Japan was getting a great influence on the American. Both in terms of industry, economy, patterns of life, or habits in daily life.Key Word: Stylistics, simile

Abstract

Abstract: this research starts from the observation of the researchers conducted on college student in lectures of Athletics especially long jump is still very low. In the implementation of particular courses of lectures in the Department of Sports Education Athletics University of Riau, a student is required to have an explosive limb muscles are good and have the ability to carry out a combination of long jump technique movement and gain good results anyway. The aim in this study was to examine the relationship explosive power leg muscle with long jump results in a student squat style princess Penjaskesrek Semester 3University of Riau. Population in this study were students Puteri Penjaskesrek Riau University Semester 3 years from 2013 to 2014 as many as 13 people. Sampling techniques in using total sampling technique, in which the entire population be made in the sample. Data obtained from measurements of the standing broad jump and long jump ability. Data were analyzed by using correlation produc moment. Based on the results of research and data processing using statistical procedures of research, it can be concluded that for the relationship between the variable x to the variable y obtained value of r = 0.863 then rxy> rtabel namely (0.863> 0.576), then Ho is rejected Ha accepted. Conclusion The hypothesis is accepted at significant level = 0.05, in other words there is a significant relationship between the explosive power leg muscle with a long jump results in student daughter Penjaskesrek 3.Keywords: Explosive Muscle Power Legs, long jump
