Abstract

The puspose of this research was to find the students physics science learning achievement throughgroup investigation of cooperative learning model to the light and its properties topic. The subject of thisresearch was 47 students of V class SDN 022 Tampan Pekanbaru on 2006/2007 academic’s year. Theinstrument of collecting data was achievement test. Achievement test consist of: cognitive test and scienceprocess skill test. The desciptive analysis showed that the average of students digestibility to the cognitiveand science process skill are catagorized very good.Key words: cognitive, group investigation, science process skill

Abstract

This action research is aimed to improve learning outcomes of electricity and magnetism subject throughincreased activity of students in preparing for and carrying out presentations on technologies that apply theconcept of electrostatic. Presentation topic is selected in the application of the concept of electrostatic in thetechnology products and natural phenomena that is familiar to students. Subjects were 59 students of PhysicsEducation of Faculty of Education Riau University at semester 6 academic year 2008/2009. This researchuses Kemmis Model with three cycles. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of thepresentation slides are prepared by students which increases each cycle until it reaches reaching the highcategory in cycle-3. Activity of presentation also increased of each cycle despite only reaching into thecategory of middle on a cycle-3. Student learning outcomes are categorized as high. When compared with thelearning outcomes of the previous year, the result of this learning strategy has increased. Meanwhile,students' motivation has increased between before and after learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the result of student’s learning through using LKS nonexperimen with dynamic of rotation main material. Subject of this research is all students class XI IPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru period 2008/2009. This research is experimentaly with research plan The static groupRandomized control-group only design, class XI IPA 1 be class control teach by convensional and XI IPA 2be class experiment, which teach by using LKS non-experimen for main lesson dynamic of rotation. Theresult which observe is cognitive domain through essay test. The result of this research show that studentsachievement, learning completeness, and completeness of the purpose class learning higher than classcontrol. It support by signification test between two class, that is the result of physic learning students whichteach by using LKS non-experimen is higher than the result of students learning by using convensional. Itshow from score thitung > ttabel the result thitung = 6,580 than ttabel (76; 0.05) = 1,665.Keyword: student’s achievement, LKS Non-Eksperimen

Abstract

This research aim to find the differences between the results of learning psychomotor skills ofphysics students to the concept of straight-line motion in the X class students MA Dar El Hikmahpekabaru between cooperative learning Think-Pair-Square and Two Stay Two Stray. This researchis the research study design experiments with the Posttest-Only Control Design. XB1-class researchsample as a class experiment I with the application of cooperative learning model Think-Pair-Square and class XB2 as a class experiment II with the application of cooperative learning TwoStay Two Sstray. Instrument data collection in this research are to learn psychomotor test resultsare analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Deskritif analysis obtained from theexperimental class I absorption average is 84.6% of students with a good category, exhaustivenessclassical learning students with 87.5% complete and exhaustiveness category subject matter is100% with complete categories. In the experimental class II absorption average is 85.9% ofstudents with a good category, effektiveness lesson is 85.9% with effective category, theexhaustiveness of students to study classical category of 91.6% with complete and completeness oflearning material is 100% by category thoroughly. With inferential after the data obtained arenormally distributed and homogeneous through the test for normality and homogenity test resultsobtained that the hypothetical accept, so there is no difference significan on student learningoutcomes through learning model Think-Pair-Square and Two Stay Two Stray. This can be seenthrough the t test was called t calculated <t table or 0.515 <1.679 by SPSS version 16.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of physic learning through direct instruction methodin the result of student psychomotor skill achievement. The subject of this research is 29 students of SDN 021Teluk Kuantan in period 2007/2008. The chosen of main subject is Electricity Series. Data is collected bygiving the applicative psychomotor test after finishing the subject. The data of this result is analyzeddescriptively with consists of: student’s achievement and learning completeness. The result analysis showedthe student’s achievement is categorized very good, learning and material completeness of psychomotor skillis categorized complete. So, the direct instruction method is clarified very effective for science psychomotorskill achievement of sixth year students at SDN 021 Teluk Kuantan, in Kuantan Singingi district.Key words: direct instruction, science psychomotor skill.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the result of sains physic achievement through approach ofSETS. The subject of the research was students of class VIII of MTs Nurul Falah Air Molek the sample takenwas 44 students. The instrument of collecting data was test of learning achievement research is about resultof student and product evaluation sheet. Data wil be analyze by using describe analyze with includesabortive power, learning effectiveness, completeness of student’s study and completeness of learns purpose.The result of data analysis shows average of student’s abortive power is 74, 8% with good’s category,completeness of student’s study and completeness of learns purpose with complete category. However,approach of SETS effective enough of student learning for learning of sains physic to camera and periscopematerial.Key words: approach of SETS, sains physic learning

Abstract

 The purpose of this research was to describe the social skills of students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, through the application of the rotating trio exchange (RTE) type of cooperative learning model on momentum and impulse material. This type of pre-experimental research with intact-group comparison design. The research subjects were students of class X MIPA 4 and class X MIPA 2, each of which totaled 36 students. The data were obtained from direct observation related to aspects of students' social skills by filling out the observation sheet for five indicators, namely: active listening, taking turns in sharing tasks, asking questions, cooperation, and tolerance. The results showed an increase in students' social skills through the application of the RTE cooperative learning model. The increase occurred in each indicator of students' social skills, where the indicators of active listening were 85.33% high category, taking turns in sharing tasks 86.33% high category, asking questions 66.67% medium category, cooperation 84.67 % high category, and 82.00% tolerance high category. These results indicate that almost all of the observed indicators of students' social skills are in the high category, except the indicators asking questions which are in the medium category. Thus the application of the RTE cooperative learning model, in general, can improve students' social skills well in class X MIPA4 SMA 5 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen tes yang dapatdigunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas dua SMP. Instrumen tes keterampilanproses sains yang dikembangkan berbentuk tes pilihan ganda dengan empat pilihan jawaban. Tahapanpengembangannya meliputi studi pendahuluan untuk menetapkan sub-konstruk keterampilan prosessains, penyusunan item soal, penilaian validitas isi dan konstruk oleh pakar dan uji coba terbatas, sertauji reliabelitas. Sebanyak 52 siswa kelas dua SMP di Pekanbaru telah berpartisipasi sebagai respondenpenelitian. Terdapat 6 sub-konstruk KPS dasar yang dipilih dalam pengembangan ini yaitu: keterampilanmengamati, mengklasifikasi, mengukur dan menggunakan nomor, menginferens, meramal, danmengkomunikasikan, dan 6 sub-konstruk KPS terpadu yaitu: merumuskan masalah, merumuskanhipotesis, mengontrol variabel, mendefinisikan variabel, merancang eksperimen, dan menafsirkan data.Tiga puluh item soal telah dinyatakan valid untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains siswa SMPmenurut pakar maupun berdasarkan analisis korelasi point biserial terhadap item-item soal dan konstruk.Uji reliabelitas yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis KR-20 mendapatkan indeks 0,69 yang menyatakanbahwa instrumen KPS yang dikembangkan bersifat reliabel.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop STEM-Based learning media on dynamic fluid material kelas XI SMA that valid. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The learning media developed is divide into experimental set device and student’s worksheet and were made for 3 experiments. The data was collected through a validation assessment sheet for experimental set devide and student’s worksheet that was assessed by the validator. The aspects of experimental set device that were assessed included aspects of device function, learning elements, convenience, aesthetics and construction, and job security. While the aspects of student’s worksheet that were assessed included aspects of the accuracy of the content, presentation, and appearance. The results of the validation of experimental set device and student’s worksheet obtained an average >3. Thus it can be concluded that the STEM-Based learning media on dynamic fluid material Kelas XI SMA is declared valid.Keywords: Learning Media, STEM, Experimental Set Device, Student’s Worksheet, Dynamic Fluid

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to describe the cognitive abilities of students and determine differences in cognitive abilities ofstudentsgrade Xof SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru by using theKahoot!online quizin physics learningand conventional learning on circular motion material.The type of research used is quasi-experimentaland research design is intact group comparison. The research subjects were class X students of SMA 8PekanbaruAcademic Year 2019/2020which amounted to 72 students. Research data is learning outcome data consisting of post-test scores through after the use of the Kahoot!online quiz. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to see how students' cognitive abilities improve after using the Kahoot!online quiz.The results of the analysis of the data obtained were, the absorption rate of the experimental class was higher than the absorption rate of the control class with the absorption score of the experimental class average of 81,48and the absorption rate of the control class average 70,93. The effectiveness of learning refers to the average absorptive score of each class with an experimental class score of 81.48belong tothe effective category and the control class 70.93belong tothe effective category. Based on the hypothesis test carried out obtained a significance value (sig.2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there are significant differences between students' cognitive abilities after using the Kahoot!online quizand conventional learning.KeyWords:Kahoot!Online Quiz, Cognitive Abilities, Circular Motion.
