Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted in order to investigate what kind of vocabulary learning strategy used by the students in English department of Universitas Riau. In conducting the research, the researcher distributed questionnaire to the first-year students of English Department of Universitas Riau as the sample. 119 students employed in this study were given the questionnaire with seven main domains used in Letchumanan (2016). This research design used quantitative survey research through questionnaires. There were 30 items in the questionnaire. The data were collected by using offline and online submission. The offline submission were collected through the chairman of each class and the online submission were collected through Google Form. The collected data were analyzed by using Microsoft excel. The findings of this study revealed that the student tent to use Cognitive Strategy and Determination Strategy. This result showed that 84,87% first-year student of English Department of Universitas Riau had different ways to learn vocabulary.Key Words: Vocabulary, Vocabulary Learning Strategies, English Study Program

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the diversity of fish species in the Lake of Taman Wisatan Alam Buluhcina and to design a biodiversity concept module on class X biodiversity material in April 2019 - July 2019. This research was carried out in 2 stages, namely the stage of field data collection, and the module design stage . The first stage was carried out at 4 observation sites in the Buluhcina Nature Tourism Park. Research using survey methods. Determination of the location of research carried out by purposive sampling. Sampling of fish is done by using fishing gear in the form of fishing nets, fishing rods, pillars at each station, three times repetition is taken, ie the catching device is installed and taken in the morning at 07.00-08.00 and in the afternoon at 16.30-17.30. The second stage of module design uses the ADDIE development model. the highest number of species at station IV was around 164 individuals, then station II with a total of 115 individuals and at station I there were 110 individuals and station III with the least number of 73 individuals with the total number of stations totaling 462 individuals. The index value of diversity, uniformity and dominance of fish species found in Oxbow Lake in Buluhcina natural tourism park at each station. The species diversity index value (H ') is around 2.39, the species uniformity index value (E) is around 0.86 and the species dominance index value (C) is around 2.58. The results of the study can be used as a source of high school biodiversity class X module designKey Words: Fish species diversity, lake, module.

Abstract

Abstract: Responsibility is human awareness of intentional and intentional acts and intentional actions. The purpose of this study is to find out how high the responsibility of village officials in implementing non-formal education in Kelurahan Tembilahan Kota Kecamatan Tembilahan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir and know how much the contribution of the responsibility of the apparatus villages in the implementation of non formal education in Kelurahan Tembilahan Kota Kecamatan Tembilahan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. This study consists of 1 variable, consisting of 5 indicators. The population in this study were 144. The sample in this study used the Simple Random Sampling Technique, which is sampling from the population carried out randomly without regard to strata in the population, this way is done when members of the population are considered homogeneous (Sugiyono, 2011: 57). The instrument in this study was a questionnaire which amounted to 45 statements about responsibility consisting of 5 indicators. The sample in this study amounted to 92. Based on the average results of the mean value for the responsibilities of village officials in the implementation of non-formal education in Kelurahan Tembilahan Kota Kecamatan Tembilahan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir is relatively high, with a mean of 4.33 and a standard deviation of 0.31. The interpretation obtained for each indicator of the responsibility of the village apparatus in the implementation of non-formal education in Kelurahan Tembilahan Kota Kecamatan Tembilahan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir is all classified as high. So, seen the most dominant of these 5 indicators is the responsibility towards the family. Key Words: Responsibility, Village Officials, Non-Formal Education

Abstract

Abstract: This research is in the background of the background with the existence of siri marriage. Siri marriage is marriage that is lawful in Islamic law but the marriage is not registered and registered in the KUA (religious affairs office). Siri marriage is considered never happened in state law, because there is no legal evidence in the form of a marriage book, especially the wife and children because their rights are not fulfilled and do not get protection in state law. As for the formulation of the problem of this research is what is the impact of siri marriage on children and wives in Kampar District and Rokan Hulu District Riau Province?. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of siri marriage on children and wives in Rokan Hulu District Riau province. While the sampling techniques include: the people of Rokan Hulu District who carry out siri marriages, namely wives. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation, triangulation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. Hence in this study it was proven that siri marriage had an impact on children and wives.Key Words: The Impact Of Siri Marriage, Child And Wife.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a change in procedures for building a Javanese traditional house in Rawang Sari Village, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is "What are the factors that cause changes in the tradition ngeres of home in Java Rawang Sari District, Pangkalan Lesung, Pelalawan Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors are causing changes in the tradition Ngeres of home in Rawang Sari Village, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The research respondents chose informants namely 5 people, 1 community figure, 1 Elder (elder) and 2 community people. Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative methods. The results in this study are that there are 2 factors causing changes in the Ngeres tradition of home in Javanese Rawang Sari Village, Pangkalan Lesung Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency, namely the first internal factor is the mindset of people who are dissatisfied with long-standing patterns, local people who want to adjust the development of the times, the second is the advancement of public education that makes people think more logically and rationally, the third is the invention of technology, the fourth is the conflict (conflict). And external factors are those that come into contact with foreign cultures, through inter-tribal cross-marriages and diffusion.Key Words : Factors That Cause Change, Ngeres Rumah Tradition

Abstract

Abstract: study aimed to analyze the effect of speed play training on the futsal player running speed of smk taruna masmur pekanbaru. The design of this study uses a group of the research is wearing the approach one group pretest-posttest design. The populations in this study are 10 students. The sampling technique is to use the total sampling, where the total population is sampled. Data collection techniques were obtained from pre-test and post test. The instrument used in this research was a 30 meter running speed test to measure running speed. The data is then statistically processed to test the normality using the lilliefors test at a significance level of 0.05a. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the data pree test Lhitung of 0,128, 1964 data post test Lhitung of 0,150 and Ltabel 0,258,then Lhitung < Ltabel. Based on data analysis pree-test and post-test there are differences in the numbers are rising or an increase of 1,73. Based on t test analysis produces Ttabel >Thitung of 86,5 and Ttabel 1,833, then Thitung>Ttabel. Thus , there is the effect of speed play training on the futsal player speed of SMK Taruna Masmur Pekanbaru.Key Words: Speed Play, Speed

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted at the Learning Activity Studio (SKB) Jln. Khatib Sultan No. 3 Kelurahan Kembang Kenanga Kec. Sail City of Pekanbaru. It aims to determine the performance of Pekanbaru City SKB employees. For the number of research informants, five informants consisted of core informants, control informants and observer informants.This study uses primary data taken at the Learning Activity Studio (SKB) Pekanbaru City. While the analysis used is descriptive qualitative which is processed using data reduction consisting of documentation, observation, and interviews. Qualitative data will be described by words or sentences separated by categories to obtain conclusions. From the analysis that the researchers did can be seen that the performance of employees in the Pekanbaru City Learning Center (SKB) is quite good, this is on all research variables namely knowledge about work, quality of work, productivity, adaptation, initiative and problem solving, cooperation, responsibility, and the ability to communicate and interact. Based on the specified assessment criteria, it can be concluded that the Employee Performance Analysis at the Learning Activities Studio (SKB) Jln. Khatib Sultan No. 3 Kelurahan Kembang Kenanga Kec. Sail Kota Pekanbar is quite good. The things that can be recommended in this research are organization management which only emphasizes the procedural approach but must be refined through changes in vision and mission, strategic approaches and operational activities in order to create excellent teamwork, working relationships based on participatory and group approaches teamwork in order to achieve the mission of an efficient organizationKey Words: Performance, Employee

Abstract

Abstract: Extracurricular information centers and youth counseling (PIK-R)have a very important role in the lives of adolescents. Where its role is to make youngpeople who can do advocacy and IEC, build youth-friendly PIK-R, communicateinformation and education in schools and the community environment. Then it isnecessary to instill character education, especially the character of curiosity. With thiscuriosity character, siswa can anticipate the influence of the school environment andlcommunity environment. The purpose of this study was to determine how the role ofinformation center and youth counseling extracurricular programs (PIK-R) in instillingthe character of curiosity of studentswa in SMP Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. To find out howthe character of students' curiosity in SMP Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. To find out how toinfluencethe role of information center and youth counseling extracurricular programs(PIK-R) in instilling the character of curiosity siswa in SMP Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. Thepopulation in this study were students who participated in the extracurricularinformation center and youth counseling (PIK-R) of 38 students. The sample in thisstudy were all students who took the extracurricular information center and youthcounseling (PIK-R). Data collection techniques were carried out using the method ofobservation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results showedthe roleof information center and youth counseling extracurricular programs (PIK-R) ininstilling the character of curiosity siswa at SMP Negeri 7 Pekanbaru at a very goodlevel. There is a significant influence in this study, it is known that the results of asimple linear regression test between variables X and Y, obtained Fcount of 15,129 andFtable of 4.11 shows Fcount> Ftable, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research is aimed to find out the students' difficulties in writing Analytical Exposition Texts at the second-year students of SMA N 13 Pekanbaru and to analyze the students’ difficulties in writing Analytical Exposition Text at the second-year students of SMA N 13 Pekanbaru. The population of this research was the second year students of SMA N 13 Pekanbaru in the academic year of 2019/2020. The samples were the students of XI. MIA 1 consists of 30 students who have been selected using cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by using writing test and interview. The writing tests were analyzed using a writing assessment by Hughes (1989), and the interviews were analyzed by counting the most answers. As a result of the research, it was found that the second year students’ difficulties in writing analytical exposition text were classified as fair (63, 9). The second year students’ difficulties were found in the aspect of the organization (51, 8) and mechanic (56). Thus, in other words, it can be concluded that students’ difficulties in writing analytical exposition texts by the second year students of SMA N 13 Pekanbaru were classified into fair (63.9) and the students’ difficulties were in the aspect of organization and mechanic.Key Words: Analysis, Difficulties, Writing, Analytical Exposition Text.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to study the Motivation of Entrepreneurship in the Hidayatul Muslim Orphanage in Ujungbatu Village. The formulation of the problem in this study is the problem of Entrepreneurship Motivation of Hidayatul Muslim Orphanage in Ujungbatu Village. This study consists of 4 indicators, according to the opinion of Peter F Ducker and Suryana. The population in this study amounted to 46 people. The sample of this study uses the Simple Random Sampling technique, which is taking a sample from a population that is done randomly without regard to strata that exist in that population (Sugiyono, 2011: 57). The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire technique, which captured 40 acknowledgments. Data obtained from respondents obtained 20 people for the trial sample and 40 people for the study sample. After the questionnaire was tested, there were 4 invalid statements, and the researchers sent invalid statements. Based on the average results of the average value for the entrepreneurship motivation variable of the Children of Hidaaytul Muslim Orphanage in Ujungbatu Village, it is classified as high with Mean 4.15 and SD 0.30. As an interpretation obtained for each indicator of entrepreneurship Motivation, the children of the Hidayatul Muslim Orphanage in Ujungbatu Village are all classified as high. So, seen the most dominant of these 4 indicators is Spirit.Key Words: Motivation, Entrepreneurship, Orphanage
