Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce comic media based on science literacy onbiodiversity lesson for high quality class X senior high school students. This researchwas conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Riau University,Public Senior High School 8 Pekanbaru and Public Senior High School 6 Pekanbaru inNovember-February 2021. The type of research used is Research and Development(R&D) with the ADDIE research model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, design,development, implementation and evaluation. In this research, it is limited only to thedevelopment stage. Data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets andquestionnaires of respondents. The results of the validation of comics based onscientific literacy on biodiversity lesson for students of class X senior high school are atan average value of 3,56 with a very valid category. The result of the limited test scoreare 3,42 with a very good category. Thus, comics based on scientific literacy onbiodiversity material for students of class X of senior high school have been successfullydeveloped with very good quality and can be implemented on a wider scale.Key Words: Comic, Scientific Literacy, Biodiversity

Abstract

Abstract: Te iru is one aspect of Japanese. This research discusses the usage of te iru aspects in the sakubun of 2019 college students Japanese Language Education Study Program of Teachers Training and Education Faculty Riau University. The purpose of this study is to find out how usage te iru in sakubun of 2019 college students. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive by observing sakubun documentation from 8 students. The results showed that usage of te iru in progressive and resultive aspects was not very visible because that aspect's situation, meanwhile the usage of te iru appeared in the habituative aspect but college students did not use te iru in the sakubun.Key Words: Usage, Aspect, Te Iru, Sakubun

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of online learning (e-learning) on the learning achievement of Community Education Students, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of online learning (e-learning) on the learning achievement of Community Education Students. This study consists of 2 online learning variables (e-learning) (X) and learning achievement (Y), where the online learning variable (e-learning) has 4 indicators and learning achievement variables use a measurement system using the learning achievement index listed in the KHS (Study Result Card) students. The population in this paper is the 2018 & 2019 Community Education Students with 95 students. The sampling technique with stratified random sampling used was proportionate stratified random sampling with a total of 20 trial samples and 49 research samples. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire technique through google form, which amounted to 41 statements for the online learning (E-learning) variable. After the questionnaire was tested, there were 5 invalid statements on the e-learning variable, and the researcher discarded the invalid statements. Based on descriptive analysis based on variables, the learning achievement level is obtained with a mean of 3.60 which is in a very good interpretation, based on a descriptive analysis of variables, it is obtained online learning (e-learning) with a mean of 3.44 which is in a high interpretation. A significant effect was obtained between the variables of Online Learning (E-learning) (X) on the learning achievement (Y) of the students of Community Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University, which had a large effect of 10.5% with a low interpretation. Because there are still 89.5% determined by other factors that are not part of this writing.Key Words: Online Learning (E-Learning), Learning Achievement,Community Education Students

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to analyse the English receptive skills through the TOEFL score map of the English Study Program Students FKIP Universitas Riau. This research was descriptive quantitative research, with 95 students as the sample. This research used students TOEFL scores that the researcher got from UPT Bahasa Universitas Riau. Analysing students’ TOEFL scores showed that only 55,7% of students had passed the test and students classified as advanced level only 50,5%. Students’ receptive skills, either who passed or failed the TOEFL test, still faced difficulties answering the listening comprehension section questions, especially about short conversations and mini-talks. There is an imbalance in the students’ receptive skills because the students can understand had better in the reading comprehension section than in the listening comprehension section.Key Words: Analysis, Receptive Skills, TOEFL score

Abstract

Abstract: This research have a purpose to implement the development and feasibility study of interactive learning media Prezi in social lesson.. The research method used is research and development (R&D) which adapts the Brog and Gall model which has been modified by Sugiyono. The research data was obtained through a questionnaire instrument used by validators of media experts, material experts and users (teachers) each as many as two people to provide an evaluation of the development of the media created. The results showed that after several revisions were carried out in accordance with the results of the validator's assessment, it was finally obtained that the Prezi interactive learning media, especially in social lessson was in the very good category and deserved to be used. Because this research has not been continued with a limited trial, the researcher gives suggestions to further researchers so that the results of the research are very useful and are expected to be carried out at the trial stage (implementation stage).Key Words: Media, Developing, Prezi

Abstract

Abstract: This research generally aims to determine and describe the motivation to exercise in the new normal era in adolescents aged 13-17 years at the H.M Nurdin Padangsdimpuan Stadium. The population in this research were teenagers aged 13-17 years who exercised at the H.M Nurdin Padangsdimpuan stadium. If the population size (N) is unknown, the sample size taken is calculated using the Lemeshow formula (1997), thus the number of samples in this research is 100 people. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this research is a questionnaire with the Guttman scale. The results showed that 68 adolescents (68%) were included in the high category, 24 adolescents (24%) were included in the medium category, and 8 adolescents (8%) were included in the less category.Key Words: Motivation, Exercise, New Normal

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of influence of audio-visual media on the ability of passing down in class X SMA Negeri 2 Bengkalis in learning volleyball. The type of research used in this study was a quasi-experimental research with a quantitative descriptive approach. In this study, there was only treatment and there was a measure of success and also the absence of a control group. Based on the results of the research and discussion that the author has described, it can be concluded from the results of data analysis that it can be seen that the results of the posttest assessment of the passing ability of students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Bengkalis, for the "very good" category as many as 4 students or 19.05 %; "good" category as many as 11 students or 52.38%; the "medium" category as many as 4 students or 19.05%; "less" category as many as 2 students or 9.52%; and the category "very less" as many as 0 students or 0%, and this is also evidenced by the results of the t-test which shows that |t count| > t table is 9.293 > 2.086 which means that the initial hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it has been proven that the audio-visual approach in learning the underpassing ability of students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Bengkalis which was carried out 3 times, was able to improve student learning outcomes in learning the ability of passing down and also the magnitude of the increase in the ability of passing down can be seen from the difference in values. the average is 10.04, with a percentage increase of 42.52%.Key Words: Audio Visual Media, Under Passing Volleyball

Abstract

Abstract: This study is about the treatment of the elderly in the posyandu, Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singing District. (1) Health Services, (2) Food and Nutrition Services, (3) Morning Gymnastics Services. The purpose of this study was to determine the elderly in the Posyandu, Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Elderly is a term for individuals who have entered the period of late adulthood or old age, where the period of late adulthood or old age is a closing period for the vulnerable lives of elderly people. Therefore, Posyandu was held for the elderly and also handling for the elderly who were in the Posyandu. The older a person gets, the more susceptible he is to a disease due to a decrease in his body system. The elderly tend to experience a decrease in the musculoskeletal system. This decrease in the musculoskeletal system can affect physical mobility in the elderly and can even result in impaired physical mobility in the elderly. Handling the elderly is a way of providing social welfare services for the elderly through health adjustments by filling free time in the form of useful activities in creating a relationship that is appropriate with fellow elderly, as follows: 1) Health services for the elderly 2) Food and nutrition services elderly 3) Gymnastics services for the elderly. The results of this study will be explained about research findings about understanding the handling of the elderly in the posyandu, Muara Lembu village, Singingi district, Kuantan Singing district.Key Words: Handling, Service, Posyandu.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aimed to find out how metacognitive strategies are used and see if there are differences in the use of metacognitive strategies between the three forces. This research uses descriptive methods with quantitative approaches. Respondents in this study were 98 students in the class of 2020, 2019 and 2018 of FKIP Japanese language education at Riau University. The results showed that all indicators of metacognitive strategies belonged to the high category with an average value (3.53). Based on the results of the one way anova test there is a difference in the use of metacognitive strategies between the 2020, 2019 and 2018 forces. Judging from the three metacognitive strategy indicators, it is known that the 2020 force uses its metacognitive strategy better than the 2019 and 2018 forces. Then the use of the 2019 class metacognitive strategy is better than the 2018 force.Key Words: Use of Metacognitive Strategies

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the lack of skills students have in performing techniques in volleyball matches, and the information provided to coaches is not yet properly coached. The aim of this research was to determine the level profile of volleyball skills in extracurricular volleyball students from Taruna Satria Vocational School Pekanbaru. The population in this research were athletic extracurricular students at SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru, totaling 12 samples using total sampling technique. The instruments in this research were pass tests, service tests and smash tests. The data obtained was analyzed using percentages. when calculating the description of these research data, The conclusion of this survey is that there are 8 students (66.67%) in the poor category.Key Words: Volleyball skills, Serving, Passing, Smash
