Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur. There were only 13 of 24 students (54,17%) who achieve the Mastery Minimum Criteria on topic about using the measuring tool in problem solving and the learning process is still teacher centered. This research is action research which aims to increase the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur through the implentation of cooperative learning in type student team achievement division (STAD). The subject is 24 students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur which consist of 10 boys and 14 girls with the heterogenous ability level. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and test of mathematic learning outcomes. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the test of mathematic learning outcomes was analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed that there is an improvement of the previous learning process to the first and second cycle. The result showed an increasing number of students who achieve the Mastery Minimum Criteria from the basic score with the percentage 54,17% to 75% on the first daily test and 83,33% on the second daily test. Based on that result, it can be concluded that the implentation of Cooperative Learning in type student team achievement division (STAD) can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur on second semester academic year 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015, which amounted to 34 students, consist of 13 boys and 21 girls. The research consisit of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. At the end of every cycle the quiz will be implemented. Data collection is done by observation and tests in the form of quiz. The result of research shows that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Most of students were very confidenced  and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to quiz I and II. The number percentage of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic, quiz I and II  are respectively 67,65%, 79,41% and 79,41%. Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning model of Problem Based Learning can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes class VII learners of MTs Muhammadiyah Duri by applying cooperative learning numbered heads model. The subjects were learners in class VII which consisted of 8 women and 8 men with heterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act with two cycles . Each cycle has four stage : planning , implementation , observation and reflection . Data collection instrument in this study is the observation sheet activities teachers and learners , as well as the achievement test. Sheets were analyzed qualitatively descriptive narrative, while the achievement test were analyzed by descriptive statistical study by analyzing the development of the individual and group values ​​, KKM achievement analysis , and analysis of the success of the action. Results of research on the observation sheet shows the activity of teachers and learners have done well and according to plan after the action . Improvements in the learning process of students and increase the number of learners who achieve KKM at the end of each cycle UH compared to the number of learners who achieve a score of KKM on base score. At the base score only 31% of learners who reach KKM , the UH I increased to 63% and the UH II also increased to 81% . The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning numbered heads model can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes class VII learners of MTs Muhammadiyah Duri in the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014 .   Keywords: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Numbered Heads, Classroom Action Research .

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve mathematics achievement in SD Negeri 013 Sintong by implement cooperative learning model approach to structural Think Pair Square. Subjects were students grade III who have the academic ability of the heterogeneous. This research is a class action research with two cycles. Each a cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The result from the observation page shows that teacher-student activities had performed well after action has been made. An increase in the number of students who achieved at UH KKM end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve KKM on base score, the number of students who scored 20 and 30 more than to the development of the number of students who received grades 5 and 10. An action is deemed successful when the number of students that reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria had increased by the first and second daily exams. The number of students that reached Minimum Mastery Criteria from the base score, the first and the second daily exams, in that order are 15%, 30%, dan 55%. The result of this research shows that the Think Pair Square Cooperative Learning Approaches can improve the mathematics achievement from the students of class III SD Negeri 013 Sintong at the second semester of academic years 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: This is a pre-experimental study that aims to determine the effect of the application of problem-solving strategies in Think Pair Share (TPS) structural approach of cooperative learning for mathematics learning outcomes (MLO) which include attitudes, knowledge, and skills competences. This research was conducted in grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Rengat on odd semester Academic Year (AY) 2014/2015 with the subject matter of numbers pattern. This study design using Intec Group Comparison. The population in this study is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Rengat AY 2014/2015. Samples in this study involved three groups were selected by purposive sampling technique, each of as many as 35 students, VIIB as the first experimental class following study with problem solving strategies in TPS structural approach of cooperative learning (PSSTPS), VIID as the second experimental class following the TPS structural approach of cooperative learning (TPSCL), and VIIC as the controll class following conventional learning (CL). The MLO data of attitude competence taken using self-assessment techniques, whereas knowledge and skills competences taken using math achievement test. This study showed the following results. (1) There are differences in MLO of skills and knowledge competences among learners who follow PSSTPS and learners who follow CL. (2) There are differences in MLO of knowledge competence among learners who follow TPSCL and learners who follow CL. (3) There is no difference in MLO of knowledge and skills competences among learners who follow PSSTPS, TPSCL, and PK in addition to those mentioned in (1) and (2). Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes in SMP Negeri 5 Tambang by implementing cooperative learning approach to structural numbered heads together. Subjects of the research were students grade VII.1 who have the academic ability of the heterogeneous. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed the activity of teachers and students have done well after doing the action. An increase in the number of students who achieved at UH KKM end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve KKM on base score, increasing the number of students who scored 20 and 30 compared to the development of the number of students who received grades 5 and 10 as well as the increase in the average value of students from the first cycle to the second cycle. Based on the results, we can conclude the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) structural approach can improve student’s mathematics learning outcomes. Abstract: The teacher competence test is a test which is conducted to observe the competence mastery of a teacher. That mastery will be used as the basic consideration on training program and developing the professional teacher. The score of competence test of high school mathematics teacher in Riau province was 41,34, meanwhile the score of expected standard is 70. One of the factors which caused the low score was the teacher having lack of training about the problem of teacher competency test. Abstract

Abstarct: This research is a action research with the objective to fix the learning process and to improve student’s mathematicsproblem solving capabilities by applying Problem based learning Model. The subject of this research are the students at class VIII4 SMPBabussalam Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic years 2014/2015, which amounted to 25 students, consists of female students with heterogeneous level of academic capabilities. This research consists of 2 cycles, of which each cycle in composed of 4 stages, which is planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In every before a cycle pretest will be implemented and end of a cycle, posttest will be implemented. Data collection is done by observation and tests are mathematics problem solving . Data analysis is done by narrative descriptive and statistic descriptive analysis. The result from the observation page shows that (1) teacher-student activities had performed well after action has been made. Most of the students have participated actively in the learning process that has been exercised, such as step-by-step learning, presenting student worksheets about problem solving or question papers, responding a fellow classmate’s presentation, and giving learning conclusions. Students even try to resolve questions that the teacher has given correctly by the end of the learning process. (2) student mathematics problem solving capabilities increase had implemented problem based learning. The result of this research shows that the Problem Based Learning  is capable of fixing the learning process and increasing math problem solving capabilities from the students at class VIII4 SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic years 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes by applying Project Based Learning (PjBL). The subjects of this research are the student of class VII4 SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru at second semester of academic years 2014/2015, which amounts to 19 students. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected through observation and learning outcomes test.  Data analysis is done by observation data analysis and student’s mathematics learning outcomes data analysis. The action is successful if the scores of teacher’s activities and student’s activities increase in every meeting and the number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increases in every cycle. Scores of teacher’s activities from the first to the sixth meeting are 93.55, 94.45, 100, 100, 100, and 100. While the scores of student’s activities from the first to the sixth meeting are 93.33, 95.24, 100, 100, 100, and 100. Percentage students that reach knowledge Minimum Mastery Criteria in base score is 42.11% increase to 57.89% at the first cycle and 68.42% at the second cycle. The result of this research showed that Project Based Learning improve the learning process and increase the mathematics learning outcomes the students of class VII4 SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru at second semester of academic years 2014/2015.
