Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the low mathematical understanding ability of students in class X MIA 2 of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. Based on test mathematical understanding ability for sequence and series lesson there are 5 of 19 students(26,31%) who achieved the mastery. The type of this research is classroom action research and the purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and increase mathematical understanding ability by implementing discovery learning. The subject of this research were the students in class X MIA 2 of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic year 2014/2015. Students in this research are 19 people, there are 9 boys and 10 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and mathematical understanding ability tests.The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive and mathematical understanding ability tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. Based on analyzed showed that there are: (1) the improvement of learning process after the implementation of discovery learning in mathematics in class X MIA 2 of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru by analyzed observation sheets; (2) increase the mathematical understanding ability of students with the score N-gain is 0,66(medium classification) in the first cycle and 0,73 (high classification) in the second cycle. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of discovery learning can improve the learning process and increase the mathematical understanding ability of students in class X MIA 2 of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru in the second semester of academic year 2014/2015 for opportunity lesson. Abstract

Abstract: The research is to improve mathematics outcomes by applying the cooperative learning model in type Two Stay Two Stray. The research is classroom action research (PTK) which to cycle. The subjects of this research were the first grade students of SMPN 3 Bangkinang academic year 2014/2015. This action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, these were planning, action, observation, and reflection. Each end of the cycle performed quiz. Data collected through observation sheet showed the ctivity of teachers and learners increasingly performing well after doing the action. Based on the observations of researchers during the learning process in the classroom VIII.2 SMPN 3 Bangkinang, most of the students were active in the learning process are implemented. Achievement attitude in its development more visible in working LKPD, as evidenced by an increase in the number of learners who achieve good and very good category. Same with the achievement of skills of students, the number of learners who are skilled and skilled enough to rise. The percentage of students who achieve the KKM knowledge base score and daily tests (second cycle) respectively is 46,15 %, and 76,92 %. Action is successful if the state after the action better. The results showed that cooperative learning model in type Two Stay Two Stray can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes VIII.2 grade math students SMPN 3 Bangkinang. Abstract

Abstract: Research aims to improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur. This type of research is experimental research study design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Research conducted at Senior High School 4 Kundur. Samples of the research were students of class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied approach to science, environment, technology and society (SETS) whereas the untreated control class. Data analysis technique used was t test. Based on test data analysis obtained tcount>ttable is 2,33>1,67, meaning that the use of science approach, environment, technology and society (SETS) can increase student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.71. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject of Acid-Bases Solution in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA1 as an experiment class and XI IPA2 as a control class randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given to applied strategy active learning quick on the draw, the control class was not applied strategy active learning quick on the draw. Data analysis technique is used t-test. Based on the results of final processing data use t-test formula obtained  tcount>ttable is  2,24 >1,67, it means that the applying of applied strategy active learning quick on the draw can improve student achievement on the subject of acid bases solution in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. The calculation of effect size resulted on student achievement was 7,93%.  Keywords: Quick On The Draw, Student achievement, Acid-Bases solution

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to; 1) To know the description of career planning before the students are given information about the understanding of career services. 2) To know the description of information understanding the process of career services tar student career planning. 3) To know the description given after the students career planning information services on understanding the career. 4) To determine differences instudents' career planning before and after the understanding of career information services.5) To determine the influence of information services on understanding the career of the students' career planning. The method used is a method Pre-experimental design, by using One group pretest-posttest design. The population was class X TKK and TKJ SMK Negeri 4 Pekanbaru, amounting to 103 people and sample the whole of the population, using sampling techniques saturated. Picture of students' career planning before being given information services are mostly located in the moderate category is 80.58%, and then in the unfavorable category at 11.65% and 7.77% for both categories. Picture of students' career planning after the given information services mostly located in either category, namely 54.37%, while the category of very good 24.27%, medium category at 20.39% 0.97% unfavorable category. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient between x1 and x2 is determinant coefficient of 0.57 and r2 = 0.32. This means that the contribution of information on career planning services by 32%. From the calculation of the t-test obtained t greater than ttable (18.5> 1.960) then the hypothesis is accepted, there is a difference between a career planning class X TKK and TKJ SMK Negeri 4 Pekanbaru before and after understanding the information about career services. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to 1) To know the description of students' career self-efficacy before being given an insight into careers information services. 2) To know the process of providing information services on the insight of career to career self-efficacy. 3) To know the description of career self-efficacy after the given service insightful information about a career. 4) To determine differences in students' career self-efficacy before and after services insightful information about a career. 5) To determine the influence of information services on career insight to the students' career self-efficacy. Data collection tools in the form of career self-efficacy scale. The subjects were students of class X SMK 4 Pekanbaru, amounting to 213 people. Determination of the sample by using simple random sampling and sample in this study were 107 people. Overview of career self-efficacy before being given the information services that are in the category of being at 87,85%, higher categories by 6,54% and amounted to 5,61% lower categories. Overview of career self-efficacy after being given information service is at a high of 75,71% category, the category is very high at 14,95% and amounted to 9,34% medium category. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient between and amounted to 0,61 and determinant coefficient = 0,37 this means that the contribution of information services to the career self-efficacy by 37%. It can be seen greater than (22 > 1,960) so that Ha is accepted. Means that there is an influence on self-efficacy information services career class X SMK 4 Pekanbaru TA. 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract : This study purpose to know learn dicipline students before and after group tuition and to know how big influence of Tuition group to discipline learn Class student at class X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015. problem is, 1)Determine level of learn discipline before tuition grup. 2) Determaine proses of tuition  group with student learn discipline. 3) Determine effect of student learn discipline after tuition group. 4) To know the different learn discipline before and after tuition group. 5) To know effect level of student learn discipline with tuition group.The method used in the study was quasi experimental, quasi experimental studies in which no treatment was the dependent variable. Subjects of this study and the sample totaled 206 sudents were taken by random sampling technique were 30 samples from students of class X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru. The results of the data analysis that the appointment of acquisition is greater than t table t at 5%, = 2.000 (11,405> 2.000) , Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that there are differences in the study significantly between student discipline before and after the implementation of group tuition services in class X SMA Handayani  Pekanbaru of 38%. Abstract

Abstract : The title of this research is "Effect On The Improvement Of Information Services Student Interest On Higher Education Class XI Farmasi Ikasari Pekanbaru T.P. 2014/2015”. The aim in this study were 1) To know the description given level of student interest before the service information, 2). To know the process of implementation of information services on the college, 3). To describe the level of interest of the students after being given information services, 4). To determine differences in the level of interest of the students before and after the information services, 5). To find out How much influence information services to increase student interest. The subjects were students of class XI Farmasi IKASARI pekanbaru totaling 116 students. This study uses a total of sampling (samples saturated). Which means that all members become members of the sample population. Picture of student interest before being given the information service of 75% in the high category, the category was 24.14% and 0.86% lower categories. Picture of student interest after being given information service 97.41% in the high category, the category of medium and low category 2:59% 0%. Based on the calculation results obtained that the correlation coefficient between  Is equal to 0495, then the determinant coefficient () is   = 0.245 x 100 = 24.5 %. So the contribution of information services by 24.5%, while 75.5% of other factors. Judging from the t test with dk 230 and standard error set at 5%, then t_tabel = 1.980. Which means that in this study there is a significant difference to the increasing interest of the students before and after being given the information services. Abstract

Abstract : Based on the observation of many phenomena that occur at school, such as: many students who complain when given a task by their teachers, some of them will stay in the classroom and the others go out of classroom while teaching process is running, lack of motivation to learn because of the condition of the class is not fun. This resulted in many students stress, and can disturbing students focus. Stress management is a program for controlling or setting the stress which aims to recognize the causes of stress and know the techniques to manage stress, so that can make people better. Guidance group is one of the services to help students solve the problem, therefore researchers interested in studying the effect of group counseling services for stress management students. This type of research used in this study was pre-experimental with one group pre-test post-test. Subjects in this study were 30 students who had stress management in the medium category. Based on the analysis of obtained is bigger than t table, means (13.86> 2,000). Thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that in this study there are significant differences of increasingstudentsstress management before and after the given group counseling services. Based on the correlation of test results it finds 0.7 and determinant coefficient is r2 0.49, therefore the influence of counseling services for stress students management group is 49%. If compared with r table to dk 58 with the standard error of 5% means (0.49> 0.361), thereby Ha accepted and there is a significant positive effect of group counseling services for stress management students. Abstract

Abstract : The tittle of this research is the effect of guidance group towards the increasing of leadership of IPM branch. Purpose of this research is: 1. To know the leadership of IPM branch before implementing the guidance group services. 2. To know the process of implementation of guidance group services in order to increase the leadership of IPM branch. 3. To know the leadership of IPM branch after implementing the guidance group services. 4. To know the difference between before and after implementing the guidance group services to the leadership of IPM branch. 5. To know is there any influence in the implementation of the guidance group services to increase the leadership of IPM branch. This research used the quasi experiment method, by using one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this research was members of the IPM branch at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, about to 30 peoples, by using random sampling techniques. To know the level of students’ leaders by using the questionnaires. Analysis of data using statistical techniques percentage, to distinguish the leadership of students’ between before and after implementing guidance services group t-test was used obtained tgreater bigger than ttable (10.92> 2.0) to the significant level of 5%. So Ho rejected and Ha accepted which means that in this research there is a difference to the improvement of the leadership before and after implementing guidance group services. And then from the product moment coefficient r = 0.53 determinant that is r2 = 0.28. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase after the implementation of the guidance group services of the leadership of IPM branch at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru 2014/2015 period.
