Abstract

Abstract: The test instrument is a measuring tool in the form of a number of questions that require answers to measure a person's level of ability. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid test instrument on ecosystem material in class X SMA/MA. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Campus, FKIP Riau University and SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. The data collection instrument used was a validation sheet. The validation sheet consists of 3 aspects, namely material aspects, construction aspects, and language aspects. The three aspects include material aspects with an average of 3.95 very valid category, construction aspects with an average of 3.70 very valid category, language aspects with an average of 3.91 very valid category. The aspect that received the highest score was the material aspect with an average score of 3.95 with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the test instrument on the ecosystem material for class X SMA/MA that has been developed is included in the very valid category in all aspects with an average validity value of 3.85, so that the test instrument that has been developed can be used in learning biology.Key Word: Test Instrument, Ecosystem.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the correlation between students’ motivation in learning English and their English learning achievement of the first grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Khairul Ummah. The researcher used a descriptive quantitative method as the data approach. The sample of this research was the 57 students in class X IPA 1 and X IPS 2. The students’ motivation score was obtained from the questionnaire adapted from Gardner’s AMTB (Attitude/Motivation Test Battery) consist of 30 questions. Data on students’ English learning achievement acquire from the score of the final semester exam from the English teacher. As the result, the students’ motivation in learning English was at average level and students ‘ motivation in learning English is mostly intrinsic motivation. And for students’ English learning achievement is classified as enough level. Lastly, the correlation coefficient is 0.748, and it can be concluded that there is highly significant and positive correlation between students’ motivation in learning English and their English learning achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Khairul Ummah. With 0.5595 as the coefficient of determination, it can be deduced that the students’ motivation contributes about fifty-six percent to their English learning achievement, leaving the other fourty-four percent by the other factors.Key Words: Correlation, Students’ Motivation , English Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed at finding out the ability of using question tags by the second semester students of English Study Program FKIP Universitas Riau. The population of this research was the second semester students of English Study Program FKIP Univeristas Riau. The number of the sample was 37 students selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument to collect the data was multiple choice test items with 50 questions. The data were analyzed by classifying them into five levels of ability: very poor, poor, mediocre, good and excellent. The finding of this study tells that there are 12 students (32,43%) are in excellent level, 21 students (56,75%) are good in level, 3 students (8,10%)are in mediocre level and 1 student (2,70%) is in poor level. Based on the finding of the research, it was found that the students’ ability of using question tags by the second semester students of English Study Program FKIP Universitas Riau was in good level with the mean score was 72. The implication of this research is that the second semester students of English Study Program FKIP Univeritas Riau have a good ability in using question tags.Key Words: Students’ ability, Study, Question Tags

Abstract

Abstract: This research discuss about contradiction and similarity of meaning of hazu da modality in Japanese language and seharusnya in bahasa. This research uses the Heiko Narrog (2019) and Hasan Alwi (1992) theory as the study of qualitative descriptive. This data research is discover from the news website with scrutinize, record, and note way the hazu da dan seharusnya sentences. The results show that the difference of meaning of hazu da modality and seharusnya modality, which mean the fervent assumption or conviction, only can clarify of one conclution by a powerful evidence basis, clarifying of the pronouncement by the speaker who have authority and have responsibility of what it discourse, to clarify the assumption which related to proper thing’s, to clarify the order to someone elses to do something, to clarify the order with the higest retiksion degree, and that clarification it must come from by it self. The similarity of meaning of hazu da modality and seharusnya modality is having the same meaning of withdrawal the clarified with the logical conclusion, the meaning to clarify of the pronouncement it linked with something was happened, clarify then the opinion and exactly the same that have no meaning to clarified of some prejudice.Key Words: Modality, Contradiction And Similarity, Mean

Abstract

Abstract : The Problem in this study is that athletes often experience irregular patterns of paly when palying, so that Rendy Badminton Club Pekanbaru athletes finf it difficult to regulate the opponent’s defense and insert the shuttlecock into the opponent’s defense. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Ladder Drill on Footwork abilities in athletes at Rendy Badminton Club Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all athletes of Rendy Badminton Club Pekanbaru using a total sampling technique of 10 people. This Type of research uses a one group pree test post test design. From the result of this study, it can be conculed that the average result for Rendy Badminton Club Pekanbaruathletes is 29,91, based on the normal test, Lo maks Pree Test is 0,2483 < Ltabel 0,258, and Lo max Post Test is 0,2069 < Ltabel 0,258 which bet is normal distribution. Based on the statisticalanalysis of the t test, the different value is 1,55 and the tcount is 5,79 > ttabel 1.833. Means tcount > ttabel. It can be conculed that the Ladder Drill (X) exercie han an effect on Footwrok agility with Court Agiity Test (Y) on the athletes of Rendy Badminton Club Pekanbaru.Key Words: Ladder Drill practice,Court Agility Test, Badminton.

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to find out the category of reading comprehension for classVIII students of MTS Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. And also apply a constructivismapproach in learning reading comprehension. This research was conducted in aqualitative descriptive manner with the collection of observational data anddocumentation. This type of research is a qualitative research with inferential statisticalanalysis method. This means that this research uses activities in the form of datacollection, data processing and presentation. The technique of collecting research datais by conducting a test in the form of an objective test to choose one answer. The dataanalysis technique of this study used statistical data analysis, namely (1) normality test,(2) homogeneity test, (3) one sample t test. The results showed that the students' readingcomprehension ability of class VIII MTS Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru based on the resultsof the pre-test and post-test there were differences. The class average at the pretest was11.63 after the implementation of the constructivism approach in learning increased to16.77 at the post-test.Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Constructivism Model, Ability to Use ConstructivismModel

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the quality of the animated video learning media on the material of the XI high school class coordination system developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. This research was only carried out until stage 3, namely development. The analysis, design, development of internal validation and phase I limited trials were carried out at the Biology Education Faculty of the University of Riau. Meanwhile, for external validation and limited trial phase II, it was conducted at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in January-June 2022. There are two data collection instruments used: validation sheets and respondent questionnaires. The results of the validation of animated videos on the coordination system material for class XI SMA are at an average value of 3.81 with a very valid category. The result of the limited trial score I was 3.79 with a very good category. The result of the limited trial score II was 3.90 in the very good category. Thus, the animation video on the coordination system material for class XI SMA has been successfully developed with very good quality and can be implemented on a wider scale.Key Words: Learning Media, Video Animation, Coordination System

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence Fartlek training had on the Endurance of Men's Basketball Players at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, in September 2021-November 2021. The population as well as samples in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Tambang, as many as 8 people. The data taken first was pretested by doing the Bleep test. Before doing Fartlek exercises on students of SMA Negeri 1 Tambang to find out the initial abilities of each student. test Based on the results of tcount of 2,371 with ttable of 1,895, ha is accepted, at the alpha level (0.05). It can be said that there is an effect of Fartlek Training on the Endurance of Men's Basketball Players at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang. Key Words: Effect of Fartlek Exercise, Basketball Player Endurance

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of sustainability disclosure on profitability and its impact on the value of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The population of this study is a manufacturing company that has the data needed in this study (sustainability, profitability, and firm value) totaling 110 companies and all of them are studied (census). he method of data collection in this study uses documentation, the type of data in this study is secondary data sourced from www.idx.co.id.The analysis technique of this research uses simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the disclosure of sustainability has effect on profitability, and profitability has a effect on firm value.Key Words: Sustainability,Profitabilitas,Firm Value

Abstract

Abstract: The use of interactive powerpoint media in physics learning aims to improve students' conceptual understanding. Interpreting and classifying is an indicator of concept understanding that can help improve students' understanding of physics concepts, one of which is optical instrument material. The purpose of this study was to describe students' conceptual understanding of indicators of interpreting and classifying through the application of interactive powerpoint media to class XI optical instrument material at MAS PP Daarun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang. There were 62 students who participated in this study in class XI MIPA in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at MAS PP Daarun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang, Kab. Kampar, Prov. Riau. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent posttest only control group design that involved 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was given treatment with the application of interactive powerpoint media while the control class used conventional learning. Based on the results of the students' conceptual understanding test on the indicators of interpreting and classifying, it was found that the average value of students' absorption in the experimental class was higher than the control class. The average value of the absorption power of the experimental class is 77,2 so that it is in the good category, while the average concept understanding test of the control class students on the indicators of interpreting and classifying is 63.3 and is in the good enough category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of interactive powerpoint media can improve students' conceptual understanding of the optical instrument material XI MAS PP Daarun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang with good absorption category.Keywords: Interactive Powerpoint Media, Concept Understanding, Optical Instrument, Physics Learning
