Abstract

Abstract: Creative problem solving ability is a process, method, or system for approaching problems imaginatively and producing effective actions. The ability to suppress various alternative ideas and ideas to seek various possible actions at each step of the problem solving process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Search, Solve, Create, and share learning model, its impact on students' creative problem solving abilities. The research was conducted on class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kubu on temperature and heat. The classes taken were class VII.1 with a total of 22 students and class VII.2 with a total of 22 students where the two classes consisted of an experimental class and a control class. The data collection instrument was a test on the results of the ability to solve creative problem solving on class VII heat and temperature material which consisted of 12 objective questions. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a Posttest Only Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 23 shows that the Search, Solve, Create and Share model has an effect on students' creative problem solving abilities. The creative problem solving abilities of the experimental class students were better than the control class. Furthermore, the average value of the experimental class was 67.77 and that of the control class was 56.03. These results indicate that the Search, Solve, Create and Share learning model is effective on students' creative problem solving abilities, with the good category.Keyword: Model Search, Solve, Create and Share, Creative Problem Solving Abilities, Temperature and Heat.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between practice attitudes and motivation to practice for the Riau Province Senior High School Sports Team. This research was conducted at the Rumbai Da'wah Soccer Field. This research has been carried out only once on June 15, 2022. The research method used is associative (correlational). This research design consists of one independent variable and one dependent variable. The sample in this study was all of the population, namely athletes from the Riau Province Senior High School Sports Football team, which amounted to 16 people. To analyze the data used statistical techniques, data analysis used from this study using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with percentages. Based on the results of the Attitude Practice (X) research data above, from the 16 samples there were 3 people with a score of 65-69, and 7 people scoring 69-74 people, and 1 person scoring 76 with a total of 1079 and a mean of 67.44. And from 16 people for the results of research data on motivation to practice (Y) above, from 16 samples there are 4 people with a value of 58-63, and 4 people with a value of 63-68, and 7 people with a value of 68-74 with a total of 1055 and a mean of 65.94 . Abstract

Abstract: This research is a correlational research design in a quantitative, which used the statistical correlation test in describing and measuring two variables. This research is aimed to investigate the learning motivation and vocabulary size of students of English Study Program of Universitas Riau batch 2020 and to find out whether or not there is any correlation between learning motivation and vocabulary size of students of English Study Program of Universitas Riau batch 2020. Thirty-four students out of 118 students were chosen as the sample students using a random sampling technique. In this research, students’ learning motivation was measured using the Attitude/Motivation Test Battery (AMTB) questionnaire test adapted from Gardner in 2004. While students’ vocabulary size was measured using the Vocabulary Size Test created by Nation in 2007. The findings of this study revealed that the average score of students’ motivation value is 61.26, which is categorized as a fair level of motivation. This study showed that students’ average vocabulary size is 8.650, which can be declared that the sample students’ vocabulary size is on the Mid-frequency level. The result also showed a positive-fair correlation between students’ learning motivation and their vocabulary size, taken from the correlation coefficient value of 0.671 and interpreted based on Sugiyono's (2009) interpretation of correlation.Key Words: Correlation, Learning Motivation, Vocabulary

Abstract

Abstrack: The progress of technology make it easier to learn Japanese, especially in the presence of applications such as electronic dictionaries. This study aims to explain students perception of the Jsho application as a kanji learning media. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to 30 students of the 2019, 2020, 2022 class of Japanese Language Education FKIP Riau University. The results of the questionnaire research on the Jsho application from display indicators, usage indicators, and satisfaction indicators with an average percentage of 77.75% including the criteria for strongly agree.Key Words: Jsho Application, Kanji, Perception.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was to find out how much influence the Dribbling Drill had on dribbling skills at the U-15 Bangkinang Red and White Football School. This research was conducted at the U-15 Red and White SSB field in Bangkinang, similarly at Tuanku Tambusai Bangkinang Station, from 12 October 2021 to 12 February 2022. In this study, researchers used a one group pretest-posttest design. pre-test and post-test before and after being given treatment. Prior to the analysis, a pre-test was carried out on athletes with an average of 22.10, then short training was carried out for 16 meetings at the U-15 Red and White Football School Bangkinang, totaling 16 people and the average post -test of 19.12. Based on the analysis of pretest and posttest data, there was an average increase of 2.98 and resulted in a Thitumg of 12.41 and a Ttable of 1.753. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an influence of dribbling drills on dribbling abilities at the Bangkinang U-15 Football School as evidenced by Tcount 12.41 > Ttable 1.764 at α = 0.05.Key Words; Drill Dribble, Dribbling Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce a handout design for high school biology class XII on growth and development in plants. The research was conducted at FKIP Riau University in November - January 2022. The design of this handout refers to the ADDIE design model which in this research was carried out until the development stage. At the analysis stage, an analysis of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum was carried out and an analysis of learning materials. The design stage is done by designing learning tools and designing handouts. The design stage is done by designing a syllabus, lesson plans, and handout design consisting of cover, introduction, table of contents, study instructions, (KI, KD, and GPA), introduction, description of the main material, evaluation, and reference sources. This study aims to design biology handouts for class XII KD SMA. 3.1 and 4.1 on the material of growth and development in plants, especially the factors that affect the growth and development of chili seedlings by utilizing phosphate solubilizing bacteria.Key Words: Handout, Learning Media, Chili Seed Growth

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses about code switching which are contained in One Ok Rock Song on the album of Jinsei x Kimi. The purpose of this research is to identify the types and forms from code switching contained in One Ok Rock Song on the album of Jinsei x Kimi. This research used qualitative research methods with listening and note-taking techniques. The data in this study amounted to twenty songs from the research conducted it was found that there are two types of code switching which is,eksternal code switching and internal code switching. For the form of code switching also found two forms which is code switching intersentential switching forms and intra sentential switching forms.Key Words: Code Switching, Album, Song

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of gadget addiction before and after the guidance group implementation and to determine the effect of group counseling on the level of gadget addiction in students at SMAN 1 Kampar Timur. This research method uses a pre-experimental design method. With the type of research one group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The type of one group pretest-posttest (pre-test-posttest single group) is giving the test before the experiment once (pre-test) and giving the test once (post-test). Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The research subjects were determined by purposive sampling technique, namely 7 students who had a high gadget addiction in class XI Social Sciences who were obtained from questionnaire data management and then were given group guidance services for 6 meetings. The conclusions in this study were as follows: (1) before the implementation of the gadget addiction group guidance service, some students were in the high category and after being given the gadget addiction group guidance service, most of the students were in the low category (2) There were differences in student gadget addiction before and after the implementation of the service guidance group (3) There is the influence of group guidance groups to reduce students' gadget addiction Key Words: Gadget Addiction, Counseling.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out how the performance coaching system, the quality of the coach, the athlete recruitment system, infrastructure, the financial system of athletes in the Pencak Silat sport in Kampar Regency. The type of research is descriptive qualitative in using the questionnaire and question and answer method then the questionnaire is distributed to the object of research after which the researcher does the coding of accurate data coding. This research was conducted at IPSI Kampar Regency Jl. Rahman Saleh, Bangkinang Village, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, Kampar Province. This research was conducted in February 2022-June 2022 at IFSI Kampar Regency. In this study a sample of 18 people. Data analysis is the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and documentation, by organizing the data into categories, describing them into units, arranging them into patterns, choosing which ones are important and will be studied, and draw conclusions so that they can be understood by themselves or others. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the following conclusions can be drawn: Recommendations from athletes in good category with a percentage of 55%, while the results of the questionnaire from coaches are in the good category with a percentage of 73% and the results of questionnaires from administrators with a percentage of 32% in sufficient category good. The results showed that the coaches in coaching the sport of Pencak Silat in Kampar Regency already had sufficient technical mastery and experience. Of the 2 existing coaches and 1 manager, both have good quality and experience. Based on the results of this study indicate that the elements of coaching are fulfilled and there are supporting factors that support the success of a coaching system.Key Words: Overview of Development, Martial Arts, Pencak Silat.

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research is the decline in the appearance of athletes performing basic technical skills in playing volleyball, such as bottom passing, top passing, serving and smashing. The aim of this research was to determine the ability of basic volleyball techniques. The population in this study was the Satpol-PP volleyball club in Riau Province, with a total of 10 samples using a total sampling technique. The instruments in this research are pass tests, service tests and smash tests. The data obtained was analyzed using percentages. in the calculation of the description of this research data, namely in the service test there are 3 persons (30%) good category, 5 persons (50%) moderate category, 2 persons (20%) less category. In the successful test there were 6 people (60%) in the good category and 4 people (40%) in the good category. In the smash test they all (100%) have a good category. The conclusion of this research is that the ability of basic volleyball skills to pass a good category is equal to 60%..Keywords: Volleyball skills, Serving, Passing, Smash
