Abstract

Trading activity in forex market is one of promising business opportunity that gives decent profit and freedom to it’s doer without providing big capital or physical office. However, the majority of people lose money because there’s a market manipulation that retail trader don’t notice. That’s why there’s needs to form a trading system, indicator, and expert advisor that could follow the movement of market manipulation. Trading system, indicator, and expert advisor follows the market structure that’s been made by market maker to induce retail trader to follow a fake market movement trend that ends with immediate reversal of the direction of the market price movement. The result of the testing provides a forex indicator that can detect a potential pattern that’s been used by market maker to reverse the market price direction, an expert advisor that can immediately gives notification of potential market manipulation and trading system that follows the movement of market manipulation with minimal risk.

Abstract

Along with the development of Petra Christian University, the number of students and teachers will increase too. Petra Christian University would need a means to communicate among students and lecturers, especially on academic advisory. Technology has an important role as tool to communicate on academic advisory. By utilizing technology for academic advisory, it will be easier, faster and more flexible since there is no restriction on place and time. With the technology, recording data on digital server will also increase administration efficacy.Therefore, this thesis tries to make an application that can help academic advisory process and record it to database. Using MySQL database as database storage will increase performance.Some tests have been made on the Android and Web based academic advisory application. The application can be used to do academic advisory by internet with smartphone or web browser as tool. Recordings also work well for all academic advisory by students and lecturers.

Abstract

Gadget is an important thing today, childrens already understand how to use gadgets. This makes children spend more time playing gadget than learning. In the world of education, the learning process in children under five is very important. In teaching in kindergarten, children are taught various things, one of which is the introduction of mathematics. Therefore, to improve their interest in learning mathematics, invented an interactive learning app for teaching mathematics kindergarten.The application consists of two menus, namely learning and games. In the learning menu there are four types of learning, recognize numbers, count the objects, mathematical operations, and write numbers. While in the games menu, there were 7 games including counting things, the addition, write numbers, the game sort of numbers, subtracting numbers, fill in the numbers, and comparing numbers. The game of addition and substraction use the accelerometer which allows the user to put ball into hole by moving the device. There is a score in each game. In addition to learning and game menu, the user can change the language used in this game. Available languages are Indonesian, English and Mandarin.Overall, the application can display 5 highest score and able to assist children in learning mathematics. Judging from the results of testing the application which has done to 12 childrens, the child interested in solving problems in the game.

Abstract

There are many disturbance that may occur during the learning process, both internal and external disturbances. Internal disturbance that may occur is the inactivity of a microphone or speakers in the classroom, the phone that accidentally sounds from students or lecturers also become an internal disturbance that may occur. On the other hand, external disturbances that may occur in the classroom are noise or out-of-class activities or there is a vehicle noise disturbing the tranquility. Another problem is when students are left behind in material explanations. Many students are also reluctant to re-ask the lesson that is left to the teacher who then even ask his own friends rather than the lecturers, thus disrupting the concentration of other students.To resolve the issue, an application that replicates the SmartHear application is created. This application can help lecturers and students to improve the quality of understanding during the learning process. The SmartHear app can also help students to record ongoing streaming sessions.Testing is done by trying various Android devices to deliver streaming and receive streaming results. Each android device with the API above 19 already meets the standards in order to run the application but there are other factors such as the size of random access memory (RAM) and the type of processor. This application is also created with a version that will process voice input with generalized maximum a posteriori spectral amplitude (GMAPA) algorithm, but this algorithm can not be processed properly in Android devices due to the lack of computing capabilities that can be done in android devices.

Abstract

Sistem penjualan UD. Nusantara Hair Industries dilakukan secara manual. Untuk melakukan penjualan dikirimkan salessales untuk menawarkan produk yang dimiliki. Biasanya penjualan menjadi tertunda apabila tidak ada contoh produk yang dapat di tunjukkan. Masalah lainnya yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya laporan untuk penjualan yang berada di luar daerah yang membuat pemilik menjadi kesulitan dalam mengontrol penjualan.Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan itu, penulis membuat aplikasi E-commerce yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut.Proses pembuatannya menggunakan CodeIgniter sebagai program pembuatannya dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari aplikasi yang telah dibuat antara lain, adanya katalog barang yang dapat diakses secara online, dapat menjual barang secara online, dan sebagainya yang berhubungan dengan proses penjualan. Selain itu aplikasi yang telah dibuat juga menyediakan laporan-laporan yang terkaitdengan penjualan atau pembelian. Dimana laporan tersebut dapat membantu pemilik untuk mengontrol penjualan atau pembelian yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Transcription of music is an active research problem in computer science and has many applications in digital music. The use of time-domain filter to improve sound quality and adding sound effects is commonplace, but the use of filter for pitch detection is rarely explored. This work thesis aims to create a pitch detection system based on digital filter and test it’s performance in guitar and piano signals. IIR Comb Filter and Peak2 onset detection is chosen as the main algorithm for this application. IIR Comb Filter have notches, zero values corresponding to a certain frequency and all it’s harmonic frequencies. If make IIR Comb Filter correspond to a pitch frequency, all its harmonic frequency will have zero values. Filtering this kind of filter with a pitched signal will result in elemination of a pitch frequency and all it’s harmonics, and the filter corresponding to the input frequency will have a minimum output compared to the other filter’s result. Peak2 onset detection works by taking the result of two peak detectors. The first peak detector detects sudden changes in amplitude in time-domain, the second peak detector takes the first peak detector’s values as an input, producing a smother result. Test showed that the result varied between instruments. Onset detection for guitar and piano performs rather poorly, about 55% of all the correct onsets were detected. For pitch estimation, the accuracy for the pitch detected is 81.25% for all monophonic signals and 64.29% for all polyphonic signals.

Abstract

Currently, vehicles has become important for human life to go from one place to another place. Now there is a tool called Car DVR which is a tool for recording events during the trip in video form, but Car DVR which has a feature to record location data and good video result is relatively expensive.Therefore, in this thesis made an Android application that has functions such as Car DVR but equipped with GPS and live streaming. With this application user can record video complete with location data and map. This application also can be used to share traveling experiences to anyone else through the live video streaming along with the location data in real-time.The test results showed that this application is able to record videos with location data and map nicely. The accuracy of location data and map is affected by the quality of internal GPS Android. Live streaming feature requires a stable internet connection and upload speeds above 1 Mbps to get good result.

Abstract

Standarization Play became the unwritten benchmark for professional industry of Film Making or Theater Performance. But, the creating of Standarization Stageplay or Screenplay sometimes be a problem for novice scriptwriters in starting their career. The applications can help the novice scriptwriter is less able to sustain these constraints. Based on the background of the problem, The Author designed an application that can help the beginner to create a standar script.This application adds the convenience that is not offered similar applications as well as added features that fit the needs of scriptwriters. The Author used Java Swing GUI technology to implement anything that The Author have been researched about either Screenplay or Stageplay.Based on the test results, this application can compete with other scriptwriting application.

Abstract

Nowadays, application of social media is being favored by young adult and not only that they also interested in culinary field and finding interesting places to eat with their friends and their families. Furthermore young adult is interested to post photo they get from that place for examples the interrior, the ambience, the food, the service, and the price.But a few application that have all that features in one app. One of the app is GoFoodies app. GoFoodies is being made based on Android, because so many people who uses Android. GoFoodies can help user to finding food places that matches with their preference such as indonesian, western, chinese, and japanese food. As well they can find places that close to their area such as north of Surabaya, east, south, and west.The result of the test of the application goes well. The result shows that the application running well in 4.4 (Kitkat) or higher Operating system and can't run in 4.3 (Jelly Bean) or lower operating system. This application execute search feature for looking places that matches with their preference and help user find the information handy and convenience.

Abstract

Petra Christian University has been using e-learning in the teaching-learning process. However, the e-learning doesn’t exist in the form of mobile application yet. This research is conducted to assist in the teaching-learning process at Petra Christian University by developing a model of mobile e-learning application that can run on cross-platform, which is on Android and BlackBerry platform.The application is created using PhoneGap that uses HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The system on the application follows Lentera e-learning system based on Moodle. On the server side, it takes a modified Moodle’s source code based on PHP so the application can be run in accordance with the system.The result shows that the application can run on cross-platform. The application has a different interface from the website version. The application also runs online with the Lentera system. The basic features of Lentera have been successfully implemented on the application. Assessment of the application as a whole is 55.56% of respondents answered very good, while 44.44% of respondents answered good.
