Abstract

Universitas X telah melakukan investasi sistem informasi yang dikenal dengan Sistem Informasi Akademik untuk menunjang kegiatan proses bisnis universitas X. Setelah melakukan investasi diharapkan ada pengembalian atas investasi yang dilakukan. Perhitungan besarnya pengembalian menggunakan metode Information Economics. Karena metode ini tidak hanya menghitung pengembalian yang terhitung tetapi juga menghitung pengembalian yang tak terhitung.Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan tersebut, maka diadakan analisa dan perhitungan untuk mendapatkan hasil ROI dan IE Score. Untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan harus melalui beberapa tahap, dimulai dengan melakukan survey biaya investasi, servey biaya berjalan, value linking, value acceleration, value restructuring, domain bisnis, dan domain teknologi. Serta merancang alat guna mempermudah proses perhitungannya. Proses perancangan alat untuk menghitung melalui beberapa tahap, pembuatan Entity Relationship Diagram dari aplikasi yang akan dibuat. Proses pembuatannya menggunakan Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2010 sebagai bahasa pemrogramannya dan Microsoft SQL Server 2005 sebagai database.Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisa yang dilakukan adalah perhitungan ROI dan IE Score. Dan alat hitung yang dihasilkan dapat menyimpan data project serta hasil perhitungan ROI dan IE Score.

Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi pada gadget di era modern ini memberikan dampak positif akan tetapi juga memiliki dampak negatif. sering kali kecelakaan terjadi karena terganggunya konsentrasi pengendara kendaraan oleh suara dari dering handphone.Aplikasi mempunyai fitur antara lain 1) pemberian notifikasi ketika user melebihi kecepatan, 2) mematikan suara handphone, 3) membalas SMS atau telepon masuk dengan SMS secara otomatis dan membantu pengguna untuk mencari lokasi tujuan menggunakan google maps.Berdasar hasil dari pengujian, aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik dan dapat menjalankan semua fungsi - fungsinya. Pengguna yang mencoba aplikasi ini mengatakan puas (nilai 4 dari total 5) untuk desain userinterface  dan kemudahan penggunaan. Sedangkan untuk kecukupan fitur dan manfaatnya, rata – rata pengguna mengatakan cukup puas (nilai 3 dari total 5).

Abstract

According to Deutsch Austauschdinst (DAAD), more than 101 million people in the world are speaking German and about 20 million people around the world is learning about it. In addition to studying the German language in school or language-courses, it can also be done easily without having to spend a lot of money, simply by using German language learning application based on Android. The application aims to provide knowledge of German language for beginners or at the basic level, Start Deutsch A1 for all ages.Features provided for learning German is equipped with learning materials menu, quizzes menu as excercises and competency test menu which is the simulation test of Start Deutsch A1. To see the development of user capabilities, quizzes are equipped with the assessment contained in the score menu and review answers at the end of each quiz.Based on testing results, this learning application can run well on devices with the Android operating system version 4.1 to 5.0.2, and so is the process of accessing databases on the web services. In addition, the testing is also done by giving questionnaires to 10 respondents to determine the satisfaction’s level. Based on questionnaires, 80% of respondents said they were satisfied with the whole package of applications.

Abstract

During this time, the process of publication of activities within the Institute of Student Affairs at Petra Christian University still use the manual that is in the form of posters that are printed and posted on bulletin boards. This resulted in not a few students who did not receive information publication of an activity if they are not actively see the posters posted on the bulletin board. And another reality, for the registration process participants still use the manual that is in the form of paper.Android based application of information and registration for students in Petra Christian University is made to assist student in receiving information of publication of an event activity in university scope and to assist student who is being the head of event activity in publicizing activity event which can reach as many students as possible. This program uses Firebase Cloud Messaging as a forum for delivering event activity information and also using Google Calendar as a reminder of events. So that with this application the student can receive information publication of an activity and register in the activity more easily and quickly.

Abstract

Technology is always evolving today is the smartphone. Even today smartphone can replace a lot of the role of one of the camera or computer and have become as one of the necessities for most people. The camera of the mobile phone one of which is widely used, but sometimes the picture is still not good so the need for image enhancement. Editing application on the computer one way to fix it. But with it still less practical because many processes that must be performed. Therefore, the application of repair and manipulation of digital images based on Android it easier to make edits or changes to the image.Systems made include the process of taking pictures from external memory smartphone, insert the image into the acticty main menu editor. This menu can be selected four existing menu ie brightness, contrast, auto contrast and blur. The auto contrast using the histogram method and using the RGB and HSV color space, while for the blur, brightness and contrast using RGB color space. This application is built using the Java programming language with the android his studio as an IDE.The test results show the value or number adders and multipliers for the brightness and contrast is very influential on the final result image, because it will make the picture look even brighter or darker. Giving blur effect cannot be given once to a high level of blur due to high blur effect makes the process will be long. In the process of auto results in images that are too light will produce images that appear broken ghosting or auto process works better if the images tend to be dark, large pixels also affects the work of the editing process.

Abstract

In this paper, we describe the formatting guidelines for ACM SIG Proceedings.  Communication is a process or a way to deliver a message from one person to another to achieve a certain goal. But often communications between individuals or groups are limited by differences of languages. Languages differences make it hard for people to convey an urge, convey intentions and goals. Until now, the world’s progress on technology has not given the way to bridge this issue as its main goal.With the development of scientific study of technology  that explore languages and communication, it is possible that differences in languages will not become an obstacle for people to communicate with one another. To solve this problem, an application is made to act as a translator between 2 person’s conversations. This application uses Android Studio and Java as its language.After the system testing is done, it could be concluded that the application is an effective tool to help user to get better understanding despite the language differences.

Abstract

Apologetika Indonesia  are religious organizations that support the defense of Christian faith that supports the truth related to Christianity. The method used in the discussion of apologetic content is by holding seminars and lectures in churches throughout Indonesia. Supposedly, with the existing technology, the spread of content can be done easily through the internet, namely through the apps. The media used must also be resilient to bad internet conditions because the spread of content wants to reach places that might have poor internet conditions. But the Apologetika Indoesia also does not have a website to run the online course.The author makes a website and conducts research on performance measurement between standard websites and websites that have a Progressive Web App. The results show that websites with progressive web applications have a worse performance than ordinary sites. However, in testing Progressive Web App , websites that use Progressive Web App can respond better, especially at points that can respond offline. In situations of poor internet connection, it cannot be denied that websites that use Progressive Web Applications can respond much better than ordinary websites.

Abstract

Heritage is a word derived from the English language that has heritage or legacy significance. There are a lot of heritage that is owned by the city of Surabaya, one of which is a relic of historic sites and heritage buildings. Remains of historic sites and heritage buildings in Surabaya consist of shopping malls, museums, monuments, hospitals and graves has a history behind it. But not many people who know the location of the existing heritage. Therefore, made the application of GIS (Geographic Information System) based web.The application consists of the three main menu main page, user and admin, on the main page, and users can view detailed information about the location selected by the user such as a photo location, history and opening hours and admission price. On the user page, users who have registered can apply for a new location and a new category to the administrator. And on page administrator, admin can add or change the location information.Overall, the web has been able to run well, capable of displaying location information required by the user.

Abstract

Promosi adalah upaya untuk memberitahukan atau menawarkan produk atau jasa dengan tujuan menarik calon konsumen untuk membeli atau mengkonsumsinya. Tujuan dilakukannya promosi adalah menyebarkan informasi produk kepada target pasar atau konsumen, mendapatkan kenaikan laba, membentuk citra produk di mata konsumen, dan untuk mendapatkan pelanggan baru.Oleh karena itu, pada Skripsi ini dibuat sebuah aplikasi yang dapat menampilkan promo-promo melalui device Android. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, pengguna dapat mengetahui promo-promo terdekat serta menampilkan rute terdekat menuju tempat tersebut. Aplikasi yang digunakan untuk mengimplementasikan skripsi ini yaitu aplikasi Eclipse.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi membutuhkan koneksi internet yang kuat dan mendeteksi latitude dan longitude dari GPS, terutama pada saat pencarian lokasi pengguna.

Abstract

PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mulia is a company engaged in the distribution of motorcycles, spare parts and accessories that require applications for applicant analysis or prediction. At present, PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mulia get applicants in several ways, namely from applicant's letter, website, job fair, and job street. There are many applicant data entered and that data is still manually selected. But this is not effective because it will require time and effort, therefore this application was made to help speed up the applicant selection process by providing predictive values to each applicant. The method used is one of the data mining methods, which is Naive Bayes Classifier. The Naive Bayes Classifier method is one method of classification or prediction with a model for calculating probabilities from a category that has existing attribute parameters, and determines which category is the most optimal. The attribute parameters used to measure applicants are age, gender, experience, education, language skills, identity, and applied position. The results of this study showed best f-score of 45,9% and an accuracy of 97,25% for predictions of acceptance, and best accuracy rate of 96,87% for predictions of work position.
