Abstract

The public debate of the Presidential Candidates in the 2024 Election is a campaign agenda from the KPU to get public attention. The debate is broadcast live streaming on TVRI's YouTube channel so that it can give voters an idea to determine their preferences and allow the public to participate directly. Participation in the comments section can be studied as a communication network and is also fundamental in developing democracy.. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the communication network of netizens in the public debate of the 2024 Election Candidates on social media. This research method is Social Media Analysis. The results show that the complete communication network formed had a relatively small diameter, low inter-participant bonding and centralization, the absence of two-way communication, the presence of isolated individuals, and participant accounts that could not be ascertained to be genuine/fake. However, the modularity is quite high, which indicates that clusters are separated by different communities. The communication network in the presidential debate is generally characterized by the community supporting candidate pair number 3 which occupies cluster 1, while candidate pair number 1 supporters are the prominent community in the Vice President debate. Both of these communication networks contain a lot of derogatory comments, bullying, and also hate speech against opponents. Communication networks found in such characteristics tend to be fragile and distortive to be understood as forms of political education, public space, or constructive democratic development.

Abstract

The CPU plays a vital role in determining the performance of a computer system in contemporary computing. If the CPU sustains damage, it may result in significant interruption to the computer's functioning. This study presents a computational technique that aims to enhance the accuracy of CPU damage predictions. The system utilises fundamental knowledge of damage diagnosis and is validated via evaluating 11 early damage symptoms that are often seen. The Certainty Factor and Forward Chaining approaches ascertain CPU damage by quantifying the degree of truth in the expert's opinion conclusions via a comparison of the symptoms of harm. The second algorithm assesses the confidence level in a development by considering the weight assigned to the system by two parties: the user and the expert. The suggested algorithm yields the mean accuracy of the certainty factor approach in diagnosing computer damage utilising the constructed system. The diagnostic system has a precision rate of 84.9%, indicating that 9 out of 10 diagnoses made by the system align with those made by an expert. Next, the outcomes of the forward chaining algorithm test. All questions about symptoms were answered affirmatively, except for one test which had a negative response. A total of 39 diagnoses were obtained, with an average value of 82.9%. The study findings indicate that the suggested confidence factor method is more suited for use in embedded systems or web-based applications, however it is constrained by low processing.

Abstract

Skin lesions are skin abnormalities or disorders in the form of changes, damage, abnormal growth of the skin, such as changes in texture, color, appearance of lumps and spots on the skin. This disease certainly disrupts people's activities and behavior every day because of the reactions it causes, such as sensations of itching, pain, stinging and excessive heat. However, knowledge of the types of skin lesions by the lay public is still lacking and a system is needed that can provide information regarding primary skin lesions. Image processing as part of machine learning can recognize types of primary skin lesions through applications that use Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). This method can perform good feature extraction and classification, so it is very suitable for image detection. Research was carried out on 4 classes of lesions, namely macular, urticarial, popular and vesicular. Based on the test results with the CNN model, it was found that the average accuracy value was 95% with the calculation of values in the macular class with precision 91%, recall 100%, f-1 score 95%, urticaria class with precision 100%, recall 91%, f-1 score 95%, papule class with precision 98%, recall 93%, f-1 score 96% and vesicular class with precision 93%, recall 99%, f-1 score 96%.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the ritual communication experience in knitting the harmony of the Bugis Towani Tolotang community in Amparita Sidenreng Rappang, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The Bugis Towani Tolotang community has various local traditions and beliefs regarding social care, kinship, diversity, togetherness and equality as solidarity identity which is realized in building harmonious relationships. Data was obtained qualitatively through several informal conversational interviews through ritual communication (Tallotte, 2018) based on ritual theory (Turner 1962, 1969), and phenomenology (Schutz, 1972). The article focuses on the experience of the Bugis Towani Tolotang community, which is a group of communities that believe in worshiping God Dewata Seuwae. Bugis Towani Tolotang constructs ritual communication as a local tradition with its symbols and is considered to have meaning, including the meaning of offerings, requests and hopes. This meaning results from the communication process of subjective interpretation of the rituals mutual cooperation rituals, marriage, sipulung, mappenre inanre, and tudang sipulung. The article contributes to realize harmonious community relations through the discussion of finding the meaning of Bugis Towani Tolotang rituals in the hope of living together peacefully in kinship ties. Strengthening solidarity is essential as it forms bonds of kinship and togetherness. This contribution offers opportunities for traditional accommodation and ways of forming kinship bonds.

Abstract

Light plays an important role in the photography that it affects the quality of the photos. The lighting in the photo is influenced by the three elements of Triangle Exposure, namely aperture, shutter speed, and ISO contained in the camera settings. A tool named Light Meter is a tool that can measure photographic lighting by calculating the intensity of light received by the object of the photo to then adjust the Triangle Exposure elements to get recommendations for appropriate camera settings. In this study, the light meter was implemented using an ESP32 microcontroller combined with a TCS34725 color sensor that functions to detect light intensity. The results of the TCS34725 color sensor to detect light intensity compared to the comparison lux meter AS803 obtained an eror value of 0.3 indoors and 17.2 outdoors with the addition of a dome diffuser. Based on the detected light intensity data is then used in the calculation of Triangle Exposure adjustment. The results of the implementation of the Triangle Exposure recommendation provided by the tool for camera settings show photos with a more even distribution of light and color based on histogram analysis in low light conditions.

Abstract

When the change has become a necessity for organizational life and it is important to increase the productivity and role of research institutions, it must be done. Change as a necessity needs to be pursued and carried out with a mature strategy to be able to minimize resistance and material and immaterial costs. The immaterial aspect that plays a very important role and as a key is an organizational communication that needs to be prepared as a strategy that can have an extraordinary influence on the success of the organizational change. But what about when these changes are not optimally communicated? The purpose of this study is to examine the dynamics of the phenomenon of organizational communication dynamics in a research institution that carries out organizational change. This research has benefits because it can provide a critical picture and analysis of organizational change in terms of organizational communication dynamics in research institutions. This research method uses a qualitative phenomenological approach to capture the image meaning of a series of events in the process of organizational change in research institutions from the aspect of organizational communication. The phenomenon of organizational change began with various rejections from various levels of employees both researchers and non-researchers who demanded openness and certainty and maintain the honor of the institution as a research institution. The demand for information disclosure is a reflection of the inability of the organization's management to communicate the planned change strategy to cause resistance to the process.

Abstract

People's cognitive learning styles are different, identify learning styles early on considered able to increase effectiveness in the learning process, even in some studies submitted can improve achievement. In the process of learning, everyone has a variety of ways, some learn by listening, some learn by reading and learning by finding. This study wants to predict how much influence the factors (frequency of internet usage, number of instant messaging (IM) groups followed, and gender of one's learning style preferences when utilizing technology such as computers / laptops or smartphones. The analysis method used in this research is Multinomial Logistic Regression. The results showed, the more IM groups followed, the more likely a person was to use a "communication" model while learning. Another finding is that a person is increasingly using the internet then the style that person uses when studying is tend to use the pattern of "information seeking". By knowing someone's learning style earlier, we can design learning strategies that are more efficient and effective.
