Abstract

Iridology as a science is based on an analysis composition of iris. In particular organ rather iris have specific advantages, which can record all the conditions of the organs, body construction, as well as psychological conditions. Trace records related to the intensity levels or deviations organs caused by disease recorded in a systematic and patterned on the iris of the eye and surrounding area. It can be used as a practical guideline for the diagnosis of the various diseases. Therefore, further research needs to be done about the condition of the organ diagnosis by looking at image of the iris. In this research, the software is able to perform classification using edge detection and segmentation floating. Eye image to be processed first separated from the image of the eye and then changes to the gray level image and the image quality improvement using adaptive histogram. The next process is to change the image of iris into rectangular form and making the Region Of Interest eye image associated with the kidneys, the last step is to detect the edge of the iris image ROI, and turn it into a binary image for the calculated area of wounds on iris image ROI. From the test results, it can be concluded that the iris recognition system shows good recognition results. There are several factors that influence the recognition process Noise of the input image, color image of the iris of the eye, the lighting in the input image. Of 20 tested iris image, the program can recognize 19 of image, so the program can recognize of 95%. Keyword :   Iridology, digital image processing, edge detection.

Abstract

In the marketing world, especially through internetmarketing or what is known as e-commerce, an e-marketercannot ignore the role of the online shop as a medium fortheir marketing communications, where marketingactivities via e-commerce is currently being favorable bythe people in Indonesia. However transaction through ecommercehas the fairly high riskpotential. Therefore thefactor of security and service quality become a benchmarkon purchasing decisions through e-commerce. Abstract

Budikdamber is a method of cultivating fish and vegetables in the bucket to support food security in the community. This cultivation is easy to install, cheap, and suitable for narrow areas or limited water. This technique is implemented in various community groups; however, many of them are facing difficulties because of a lack of information and experiences. To overcome this issue, an application, CaFiAR, based on augmented reality technology was built to bestow information of 3D pictures of ready to harvest and sick catfish. The 3D objects were developed using Blender and Android Studio software. After several tests, we found this application behaving according to its framework and acceptable among the cultivator.Keywords—software, fish, cultivation, food, security,orphanage

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) is very important for sustainability and business growth. Dependence on IT requires special attention to governance which consists of leadership, organizational structure, and processes. it ensure that IT in the organization not only develops, but also sustains the company's strategy and goals. Informatics and Business Institute Darmajaya is one of the private universities in Bandar Lampung that utilizes IT in carrying out academic activities, one of which is by using the Information System of Academic (SISKA). In the implementation of good SISKA, an audit of information system needed to improve the performance of the system. In this study, audit for information system of academic used Control Objective for Information and related Technology (COBIT 5.0) on domains DSS01-DSS06, MEA-01, APO-12, and APO-13, as well as other references to determine improvement suggestions by adding the Information Processing Infrastructure Library (ITIL V3) on the domain process of Service Operation and Service Design processes as a framework. This study was used to evaluate the governance information systems of academic at Darmajaya to produce some recommendations for improvement. The results was used to provide recommendations for improvements to the information technology governance of SISKA IIB Darmajaya. For measure, this study using addition validity and reliability with SPSS tools to testing produce appropriate improvements for IT governance.Keywords: Audit of Information System, COBIT 5.0, ITIL V3, IT Governance.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of Financial Iindicator and Good Corporate Governance on stock price with Financial Distress as an intervening variable in conventional banking companieslisted on the Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) in the period of 2013-2017. The populations in this study were 5 conventional banking companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) in the period of 2013-2017 and the sampling technique used ramdom sampling method. This study used path analysis. The study results indicated that (1) the ratio of Liquidity had a significant effect on Financial Distres. (2) the ratio of Leverage had a significant effect on Financial Distres. (3) the ratio of Profitability had a significant effect on Financial Distress. (4) Corporate Governance structure had no significant effect on Financial Distress. Abstract

This study considers an operational decision in the maritime inventory routing problem considering the maintenance schedules of the ships. The problem is to determine the exact number of ships serving to distribute bulk cement product. The problem is complex due to the uncertainties in demand, travel time, loading time, and unloading in each port so that exact optimization methods or mathematical formulations are difficult to do. Therefore, discrete-event simulation method is proposed to solve the problem. In determining the number of vessels to note the external factors that affect the performance of the ship in distributing. One of the activities undertaken to maintain the condition of the ship is maintenance. With the maintenance activities there is a possibility of increasing the number of boats to distribute bulk cement to avoid shortage. The results show that simulation module built can be used to determine the number of vessels and their capacity to determine the optimal number of ships to avoid shortage. From the research work also obtained the effect of maintenance activities in determining the optimal number of vessels. With the arrangement of maintenance schedules made at the time of cement demand is down then the number of ships with a capacity of 3,200-4,500 does not require any additional fleet. But for vessels with a capacity above 4,500 it is necessary to add one fleet of vessels to avoid shortage in unloading portsKeywords: Bulk Cement Product, Maritime Transportation, Disruption of Maintenance, and Discrete Simulation.

Abstract

Nowadays, mobile application, called mobile learning, is widely used among academic staff to help them in the process of teaching and learning at university. This research proposed the use of mobile learning in computer network subjects, particularly computer network and security, to facilitate the ease of access to the source of material and evaluation. Abstract

Kinderganten is a second home for a children for about 5 – 7 years, it is accroded from national constitution No.20 year 2003 article 8 about early education for children. Based on it, kinderganten management should be able to coordinate with the parents in order to giving a centralized information to avoiding false information from unresponsible person. Delivering an Information to the parents is always be an issued whereas the parents is not available to be contacted by the management, for instance when the students go to the kinderganten for the half of day, the management could not contact the parents due to limited communication, therefore the students is going home alone. The teacher also have an issues to communicate with the parents regarding the development of their children, the development of sensor motoric, and the development of social life of their children. Given the background, it need a centered information system based on short message service (SMS)-gateway by using waterfall a method which using Life Cycle Development System. The system which will be develop will help a parents to gathering centered information from Kinderganten Management, therefore, if there is newest information regarding schedule of holiday, event, study, the parents will be informed soon and well. Keywords: Short Message Service, Gateway, and Sistem Development Life Cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of business risk on the quality of the auditing process from the perspective of auditors. The collecting data used a questionnaire distributed to several auditors in the public accounting firm. The population in this study was external auditors who worked in several public accounting firms with the sample selection using purposive sampling. The questionnaires distributed were as many as questionnaires, but there were only 42 returned questionnaires. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result of this study showed that systematic risk was proxied by the litigation ratio which affected the quality of the audit process, the effect of environmental risk was proxied by the sanctions received by KAP affected the quality of the audit process. Furthermore, work risk was proxied by audit risk on the quality of the audit process.Keyword: Business Risk, Quality Audit Process
