Abstract

One of the methods applied by early childhood educators is storytelling. Storytelling is helpful for them. However, practically, not all them is capable of carrying out this method. The challenge is the limited media that accompanies the application of this method. Storytelling is very attractive to the world of children, especially in early childhood education, but are less socialized to give benefits for the early childhood educators, especially those that live in some district. While the reason is similar to the limitations of the media.

Abstract

Kelisanan (orality) dan keaksaraan (literacy) merupakan dinamika pengguna bahasa dalam berinteraksi. Hal utama yang harus mendapat perhatian ekstra oleh pengguna bahasa sejak usia dini adalah penggunaan bahasa yang santun. Kesantunan diukur dengan penuturan/penulisan yang tidak menyinggung perasaan pendengar atau pembaca, menggunakan tuturan tidak langsung yang biasanya terasa lebih santun bila dibandingkan dengan tuturan yang diungkapkan secara langsung, pemakaian bahasa dengan kata kias terasa lebih santun bila dibandingkan dengan kata lugas, ungkapan memakai gaya bahasa penghalus terasa lebih santun dibandingkan dengan ungkapan biasa, kesantunan berujar dapat dilihat dari penggunaan dua hal, yakni pilihan kata (diksi) atau ketepatan pemakaian kata dan gaya bahasa. Pengguna bahasa khususnya tulis sedari dini dikenalkan hal mendasar meliputi fonetik, semantik, sintaksis, morfologi, pragmatik, dan wacana. Kajian ini sebagai dasar memahami kaidah bahasa agar menjadi pengguna bahasa yang baik dan benar. Muatan tersebut tujuan utamanya adalah mewujudkan pengguna bahasa yang santun sebagai ciri manusia berbudaya dan munculnya penghormatan dari pihak lain karena kesantunannya berbahasa itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading skills of early childhood reading skills through stimulating activities with fishing game. This study was conducted using classroom action research design, namely the group B in RA Masyitoh Gerjen Sayegan Sleman, Yogyakarta. In the beginning, before the action carried out found that the reading ability of students is still very low, children tend to be passive when participating in learning activities. Most children scored below 2, for a range of values 1-4 means that the child has not developed the ability to read. It is known by observing students during activities in preparation centers, further action is taken by using the media game, namely the fishing game. After conducting fishing game, the ability to read children in group B in RA Masyitoh Gerjen increased. This is evident from the observation that researchers do about upgrading early childhood reading. In the first cycle results obtained 18.18%, 30.76% sikus II and III cycle of 84.61%. It can be concluded that the game Fishing Game can improve children's ability to read the beginning of group B RA Masyitoh Gerjen Seyegan Sleman, Yogyakarta. Keywords: Fishing Game, Stimulation  Reading Ability for Chaildren ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca anak usia dini melalui kegiatan menstimulasi kemampuan membaca dengan fishing game. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas, yakni kelompok B di RA Masyitoh Gerjen Sayegan Sleman Yogyakarta. Pada awalnya, sebelum tindakan dilaksanakan ditemukan bahwa kemampuan membaca anak didik masih sangat rendah, anak-anak cenderung pasif saat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Sebagian besar anak mendapat nilai di bawah 2, untuk rentangan nilai 1-4 artinya kemampuan membaca anak belum berkembang. Hal ini diketahui dengan mengobservasi anak didik pada saat kegiatan pada sentra persiapan, selanjutnya dilakukan tindakan dengan menggunakan media permainan, yakni dengan fishing game. Setelah melakukan fishing game, kemampuan membaca anak kelompok B di RA Masyitoh Gerjen meningkat. Hal ini tampak dari hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan tentang peningkatan kemampuan membaca anak usia dini. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil 18,18%, sikus II 30,76% dan siklus III 84,61%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan Fishing Game dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak kelompok B RA Masyitoh Gerjen Seyegan Sleman Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Singing is an activity that can not be separated from the world of education in kindergarten. Every day, students in kindergarten or RaudlatulAthfal there is always a singing activity. Learning atmosphere feels moreexcited, if students are invited to sing along. It is inevitable that singing is avery effective medium to instill positive characters, such as honest, disciplined,creative, independent, love peace, love reading and love of the homeland. Thisis in accordance with the concept of edutainment learning, which is an attemptto find common ground educational and entertainment world, especially onthe level of RA / TK.

Abstract

Linguistic Intelligence, a person’s ability and sensitivity to interpret the wording, is able to use words effectively, both orally and in writing. Intelligence of this type are identified by Gardner much involved in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Reading ability is influenced by several factors, including 1) fluency in reading, 2) the ability to hear, 3) the ability to see, 4) environmental influences, 5) emotional factors, and 6) the child’s intelligence. Some of these factors so as to be an influence in the child’s reading ability, therefore, in this case the reading ability of emotion is always enhanced by a variety of ways, as for how that can be achieved are: 1) read children books from birth, 2) encourage children to talk about what has been heard or read, 3) taking children to the bookstore or library, 4) purchase books that attract children, 5) set aside the money to buy books for children, 6) to set aside money to buy books for children, 7) watch movies as well as buy books according to the film, 8) creates a family library at home, 9) exchange of books belonging to the child by his friend, 10) removesinhibitors such as TV and Playstation, 11) to give the reward to enlarge the spirit of reading child, 12) to make the book as a reward for kids, 13) make reading a daily activity, 14) to dramatize the contents of the book that was read to the child, and 15) make their own books.

Abstract

Child at the age of zero to five years is seen as a golden age (golden age) to learn because in this age range their growth and development takes place quickly and rapidly. One is the Son has the informal mathematical knowledge is incredible. On this basis, educators need to provide the right stimuli that optimal child growth and development. This research is literature. The research results indicate that the child has an informal mathematical knowledge gained extraordinary and studied in the context of everyday life. It is important for children to understand the concept that teaches mathematics first is through the use of mathematical intuition contextual and then to mathematical symbols. Symbols are then abstracted by the children in his brain, this is called a visual representation (visual imagery). Mental imagery (mental imagery) as an object mentally for reflective thinking processes that will help and guide individuals to solve problems as well as helping individuals to reorganize (construct) a wide range of knowledge and reconstruct the concept of the problem. Therefore, context familiarity, ease of substance, the attractiveness of the object, and fun activities become a keyword in teaching mathematics in early childhood.

Abstract

Flashcards menjadi hal yang sifatnya sederhana, mudah digenggam, dan fleksibel digunakan dalam momen apapun. Rata-rata orang menggunakan/memainkan kartu di tempat-tempat seperti di rumah, sekolah, kantor dalam waktu senggang termasuk di arena gamling. Saat ini, kartutak hanya ditemukan dalam wujud nyata namun juga abstrak seperti yang digunakan dalam game komputer, seperti FreeCell, Hearts, Solitaire etc.Istilah ‘Flash cards’ yang telah booming dengan variasi jenisnya disebabkan oleh kecepatan pergerakannya, secepat kilat. Disekolah, baik di dalam maupun diluar ruangan, para guru mempersiapkan flashcards sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran. Namun kini beberapa Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) menerapkan flashcards untuk mengundang perhatian murid-murid dari toddlers hingga Taman Kanak-kanak (TK). Disini guru-guru tersebut menggunakannya pada area bahasa. Tujuannya adalah agar murid-murid PAUD dapat mempelajari kosakata bahasa yang sederhana dalam rangka meraih kompetensi komunikatif secara lisan.

Abstract

This article describes the principles and methods of early childhood education. The first discussions will start from the understanding of children, early childhood and early childhood education principles, urgency and methods of application. Early childhood education is education before primary educationwhich is an approach to development that is intended for children from birth to the age of six. This education is done through the provision of education to help the growth stimuli entering further education, which was held in formal, nonformal and informal. In early childhood education methods are needed in order to study the effects and on target. Learning inearly childhood requires unique and creative methodology. The role of a teacher is needed in educating children and explores the potential of students. From here teachers in early childhoodeducation is seen not only as caregivers and counselors, but the teacher is required to meet thestandards of the teaching profession. Children’seducation must begin from an early age, Islam emphasizes education begins since a child is born; it is based on the teaching of the Prophet told his community that advocates for azan when the new baby is born.

Abstract

Penurunan akhlaq anak zaman sekarang menarik untuk dikaji, terlebih di tengah arus teknologi informasi antar daerah dan antar negara yang begitu mudah diakses oleh siapapun, termasuk anak-anak usia dini. Hanya saja, dunia maya merupakan ruang tanpa batas yang menyediakan semua informasi dari yang positif sampai yang negatif. Sementara anak-anak yang masih labil dalam segala hal, rentan untuk terpengaruh perilaku-perilaku yang tidak terpuji. Belum lagi karakter masyarakat sekarang yang permissive, sehingga budaya untuk saling mengingatkan menjadi perbuatan yang langka. Tidak mengherankan bila anak-anak zaman sekarang banyak yang terlibat berbagai kenakalan atau penyimpangan. Untuk itu, tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk memberikan petunjuk kepada para orang tua agar peran mereka dalam mendidik anak dapat lebih tepat. Hasil tulisan ini menunjukkan terdapat enam metode untuk mendidik akhlaq anak sesuai dengan karakteristiknya, yaitu dengan keteladanan dari orang tua, metode pembiasaan, pemberian nasihat, memberikan motivasi, pendekatan persuasi, dan melalui kisah (cerita) untuk menggugah kesadaran anak. Dapat disimpulkan, peran orang tua dalam mendidik akhlaq anak sangat vital, sehingga kontribusi orang tua harus lebih diperkuat guna mendukung pembentukan kualitas akhlaq.
