Abstract

The objective of this paper is to provide a theoretical review and a complete description about financial performance management of the bank. Method used in this review is the study of literature or theoretical studies. Result of this review indicates that (1) bank's financial performance is measured with some parameters such as Earning per Share (EPS), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Asset (ROA), revenue growth, loan growth, net income growth compared to profit planning, saving growth, Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Present Value (NPV); (2) financial parameters are measured depending on accounting methods or treatments used to prepare the financial statement of the bank; (3) Financial ratio is the comparison of two variables of financial data to explain the relationship between those two; (4) Some financial ratios are used by an analyst to measure financialperformance, such as: Profitability Ratio, Liquidity Ratio, Solvability Ratio, Activity Ratio, Growth Ratio, Market Value Ratio, and Economic Value Added; (5) The analysis over these ratios is fulfilling not only the internal interest but also external interest of the firm, because it is useful (a) to compare the firm with other firm at similar business sector, (b) to compare with other at different business, and (c) to compare the performance at different period of time.

Abstract

The recent phenomena shows that the rising of Indonesian society consumerism is marked by numerous shopping malls and behavior of consumers in Indonesia who adore fashion products overseas rather than local products. This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of status consumption, value consciousness, price-quality inference, social influenceon purchasing counterfeit brand of handbag towards consumer attitudes on counterfeit products. This study used quantitative methods by conducting explanative research. The population in this study was all female consumers in Malang and the samples were obtained 120 female consumers. The data analysis methods used path analysis. The results show that attitude may mediate the effect of consumption status, value consciousness, price-quality inference, and social influence toward purchase intention of counterfeit brand of handbag products. The attitude towards counterfeit products affect purchase intention.

Abstract

The finance Industry develops rapidly, both Banking and Non Banking Institutions, that later this fact will bring out the competition which is getting tighter. The development is not implied not only by variety of products and finance service, but also in monetary deregulation business competency, more sophisticated finance service preferention, and Information Technology (IT) development. Based on those, IT roles, especially in Information System (IS),. As a result, the role of Information system becomes important things in supporting the banking's business and operation. It is also becoming dominant factor in winning the business competition and one way to measure IS by auditing to IS itself. IS audit that had been doing in this research was to audit IS planning and implementations process in PT. Bank XYZ, Tbk (Bank XYZ), by determining Critical Success Factor(CSF), Key Gol Indicator (KGI), Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and measuring Maturity Level by likert scale using Maturity Model in Cobit Framework. From this research, it could be concluded that all IS planning and implementations process in Bank XYZ have been conducted by right regulations as Cobit Framework and Maturity Level is placed between Level 2-Repeatable and Level 3-Defined.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are, 1). Analyze the environment (internal and external) of SME's strategic center to determine the strengths and threats that will be used as the substance of the communication, 2). Determine the parameters of performance of SME's areas as a reference for determining the relevant form of communication, and 3). Formulate a model empowerment of SME's industrial centers batik through communication programs in a more intensive and integrated with the local government in an effort to increase institutional power. The population was batik craft industry SME's in Bangkalan Regency. This study used a survey method. The number of samples as much as 145 respondents. Strategic environmental analysis was done using a SWOT analysis and multiple regression analysis. SWOT analysis result obtained value of 1,38 to internal factors and the value of 2,23 to external factors. The final value said to be a grand strategy. That value indicates the system of communication of the central group has properties aggressive which need to be developed through the creation of strategy that prioritizes the power possessed by the SME's to take advantage of the opportunities that exist. Whereas the results of the regression analysis showed that some of the variables analyzed, variable market conditions were the most influential variables on performance of SME's businesses.

Abstract

Evaluation of e-Government is conducted to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability of governance and public services. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of e-Government (e-Gov)in XYZ institution. The evaluation is divided into three types, first is analysis of maturity level using e-Gov Ranking Hold Indonesia (PeGI), the second type is evaluation of Information Systems Resources (ISR) with descriptive qualitative method, and the last one is analysis of system quality and information quality based on McLean and DeLone (2003) using analysis of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). As a result, the overall assessment of PeGI from the five-dimensional measurement is good but it tends to be less threatened either. The dimensions of institutional, infrastructure, and application are categorized as good rank while the dimension of planning and policy are weak rank. Secondly, the evaluation results of ISR including hardware, software, netware, and dataware have good performance but the evaluation results of human resources need to be improved. Furthermore, from the IPA results, the low performance of sistem quality are reliability, accessibility, download time and efficiency and the low performance of information quality are timelines and up-to-date. Accordingly, XYZ institution need to make improvements that focus on information and communication technology (ICT) planning, human resources mapping and improving the quality and quantity in the field of ICT, as well as improving the system quality and the information quality to support the successful implementation of e-Gov in XYZ institution

Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the effect of head nurse's type of transformational and transactional leadership towards nurse'organizational commitment at RSI UNISMA MALANG. The research method used descriptive analysis with cross sectional approach on ninety respondents. We have conducted the descriptive statistic test, double linear regression analysis, testing hypothesis, dominant variable test. Type of transformational and transactional leadership of head nurse gave significant affect simultaneously and partially to the nurse'organizational commitment in Islamic Hospital UNISMA Malang. Transformational leadership type of head nurse affects dominantly to the nurse'organizational commitment in Islamic Hospital Malang.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to: (1) know the basic concept of school-based management and all its components, (2) know how far the extent to which implications of Education Management in Education Quality Improvement, (3) know the implementation of schoolbased management in SMP Negeri 3 Pule Trenggalek in the year 2014/2015, (4) know the school-based management strategies in SMP Negeri 3 Pule Trenggalek in the year 2014/2015, (5) know the factors in which support the success of school-based management. The results of a school-based management review are: (1) The existence of the authority towards the school to carry out the management and continuously improve the quality by involving all members of groups who are associated directly with the school in the decision-making process in order to fulfill the school needs of quality improvement. (2) The implications of the presence of school-based management is to provide chances and opportunities for principals, teachers and students for educational innovation. (3) The school-based management implementation at SMP Negeri 3 Pule is based on the visions, missions and goals set. (4) The strategy that is implemented by the school include (a) a self-evaluation to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the school. (b) set the quality of indicators or targets to be achieved. (c) monitoring and evaluating the programs that have been planned in accordance with the funding to see the achievement of the visions, missions and goals. (5) The supporting factors of the success of school-based management are covering: (a) Leadership and management of good schools, (b) social conditions, economic and public appreciation of education, (c) the government support, and (d) professionalism.

Abstract

 The aim of this study was to examine the influence of spirituality in the workplace against the turnover intention of nurses through organizational commitment. This study used an explanatory research design with cross sectional approach. The sample was nurses who have been working for over a year in the Islamic Hospital Unisma Malang with total 89 nurses. The sampling method used the total population (census). The results of hypothesis testing using path analysis showed that spirituality in the workplace has a positive effect on organizational commitment to perform, organizational commitment negatively affect turnover intention, spirituality in the workplace negatively affect the turnover intention of nurses and spirituality in the workplace indirect effect on turnover intention of nurses through a commitment organizational.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of the Bogor City residents each year increased density so the impact on the food supply must be provided food institutions Bogor to meet those conditions . It is therefore necessary strategic steps to stimulate and control the availability of food one is to increase the role of agricultural extension as the spearhead of agricultural development in the city of Bogor. The purpose of this research was conducted to analyze the situation of food availability Bogor Year 2011 till 2015 and the role and function of agricultural extension Bogor, in meeting food needs in 2011 until 2015. This study was a cross sectional survey methods to collect secondary data and primary. Based on analysis of population required food availability Bogor for all types of commodities are mostly imported from other regions. Dependency of food imports from other regions to predict the next five years will be even higher, this is due to existing agricultural lands currently only 13% of the total land designation and conversion is likely to happen again for the next five years. Extension workers and extension agencies are located in the city of Bogor as it should have duties that no longer oriented towards increasing production. Auth Bogor Agricultural extension is supposed to maintain existing production (13%) and seeks to diversify into the production of refined by developing farmer groups as a basis for the development of food products. The role of other equally important duties that must be agricultural extension in the area of the city is becoming a mediator and liaison food access, because with good access and availability of food then travel relatively more secure society for people in urban areas tend to be dependent on food-food supply results other areas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of brand image on patients'who perceived service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty in outpatient units.This Research conducted on May 2014 was a correlational and quantitative study. The research sample were 109 patients of outpatient units in Ben Mari Hospital Malang. Data were collected by a fivepoint Likert scale questionnaire in which consists of statements about brand image, patients'perceived service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. The data were analysed by Structural Equation Modeling using Partial Least Squares. The result of the study shows that brand image has a direct and indirect effect on patients'perceived service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty . Brand image has the biggest effect directly on patients'perceived service quality. One of indirect effects of brand image on patient loyalty occurs through patients'perceived service quality and satisfaction. Brand image influences patients'perception on service quality, in turn it infuences patients'satisfaction and loyality. The influence of brand image shows that brand image must be managed by the hospital well and seriously in order to build a positive thought from the patients. Finally, the hospital management image will give the result on patients'acceptance towards the hospital response to their preferences and needs.
