Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image, perceived price, and location on the decision to stay again. The sample in this study was 96 consumers from the Kyriad Arra Amandaru Cepu Hotel, Central Java, calculated using the Slovin Formula, with the method used being non-probability sampling by distributing questionnaires using the simple random sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of the respondents' answers to the questionnaire given were then processed using SPSS software version 25. The researchers found that the brand image variable partially affected the purchase decision variable, and the price perception and location variables had an effect on the decision variable to stay again.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of mediation of affective commitment, and work discipline on the effect of job stress on employee work attachment. This research was conducted at the Sugar Factory X in East Java, involving 158 employees. Data were collected using a questionnaire and the results were analyzed using PLS software. The results of this study indicate that job stress does not have a significant effect on work attachment, but affective commitment and work discipline as full mediation on the effect of job stress on work attachment. In testing direct effects on other variables show that, job stress directly influences work discipline and affective commitment, while work discipline and affective commitment directly affect work attachment. This study places affective commitment, and work discipline as a variable for the pillar on the effect of job stress on employee work attachment. The important findings of this study are affective commitment and work discipline act as full mediation variables. That job stress is unable to play a role in efforts to improve employee work attachment unless there is a role in mediation from affective commitment variables and work discipline. The results strengthen the social exchange theory.

Abstract

Organization in the global era, are very close to diversity. It is because the existence of the high inter-dependencies of the organization to others. Diversity existence in the organization must be managed in a good and clear way, and this condition will give highest values to organization, employer, employee, and also to community. Before managing diversity, managers of the organization should understand the trigger or the source of the diversity in the organization. There are three steps to manage diversity in the organization. The first step is by developing multi cultural organization. The second step is by doing the individual approach, and the third step is by executing the organizational approach.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the effects of remote working on employee performance and the influence of job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the relationship between remote working and employee performance in the context of fintech companies in Indonesian. Using purposive sampling technique, 125 people who live in Indonesia and work remotely for fintech companies were selected as the respondents of this quantitative explanatory research. The data was harvested from questionnaires and was examined using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The hypothesis testing was conducted using t-test. All of the statistical analysis was performed in IBM SPSS 29. This study finds that remote working significantly affects employee performance and that job satisfaction mediates the impact of remote working on employee performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of teamwork, communication, and employee creativity on employee performance. Considered as an explanatory study, it identifies the influence of teamwork, communication, and employee creativity on employee performance using a quantitative approach. From the population of 323 employees of the Regional Office 07 of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in Makassar, 181 were selected as the respondents via probability sampling method and simple random sampling technique. The data analysis was performed using instrument test and multiple linear regression in the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) program.

Abstract

Organizational culture core values is the important thing for the organization members. The aim of this research is for knowing the simultaneously and partially effect of the organizational culture core values on the commitment of AIESEC Local Committee University of Brawijaya members. The population is the entire members of AIESEC Local Committee University of Brawijaya. Involving 65 members as sample, by using multiple regression analysis method. The result of the research shows that the variables for organizational core value: include activating leadership,demonstrating integrity, living diversity, enjoying participation, striving for excellence, acting sustainably, simultaneously affected the members commitment. Partially, striving for excellence and enjoying participation affected members’ commitment, while activating leadership, demonstrating integrity, living diversity, acting sustainably, did not affect members’ commitment. The striving for excellence is dominant in affecting members commitment. Therefor, educating every member on organizational culture core values should be done continuously, so that a good understanding about the core value can be achieved. Finally, members commitment can be increased.

Abstract

This study investigated the influece of job stress and locus of control to job satisfaction and job performance of employees in service division at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. in Malang using Partial Least Square. The population of the research covered the whole tellers and customer service officers in Bank BNI Malang, with 70 respondents as the research samples. The outputs of these findings indicate that the variable of job stress has direct and significant influence to the job satisfaction and job performance of tellers and customer service officers in Bank BNI Malang, and also has indirect and significant influence to the job performance through job satisfaction of tellers and customer service officers in Bank BNI Malang. Whereas, the variable of locus of control has a direct and significant influence to the job satisfaction and job performance of tellers and customer service officers in Bank BNI Malang, and also has indirect and significant influence to the job performance through job satisfaction of tellers and customer service officers in Bank BNI Malang. Last, variable job satisfaction has direct and significant influence to the job performance of tellers and customer service officers in Bank BNI Malang. These findings indicate that in order to improve job satisfaction and job performance of the employees can be carried out by keeping the level of job stress so that it will not increase to the negative level and also improving locus of control especially the internal locus of control.

Abstract

Innovative work behavior is a key driver of technology-based service innovation in the hospitality industry. This study integrates innovative work behavior into Technology-Enabled Innovative Behavior and reconceptualizes organizational commitment into Technology Adoption Commitment to capture employees' psychological attachment to technology adoption underexplored area. Commitment to capture employees’ psychological attachment to adopting technologies. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership on Technology-Enabled Innovative Behavior, and through the mediating roles of paras-paros citizenship behavior and Technology Adoption Commitment. Using survey data from 377 employees of five-star hotels in Bali analyzed with PLS-SEM, the results show that transformational leadership significantly enhances Technology-Enabled Innovative Behavior, with Paras Paros Citizenship Behavior as a partial mediator, while Technology Adoption Commitment has no mediating effect. Higher Technology-Enabled Innovative Behavior is reflected in the frequent use of Property Management Systems, digital payment, and mobile check-in, whereas lower use of AI-driven customer service indicates areas for further innovation. The findings highlight that leadership and Paras Paros Citizenship Behavior provide strong cultural support, but innovation outcomes depend on the accessibility and integration of specific technologies. Strengthening leadership practices, local wisdom values, and the operational integration of underutilized tools can accelerate digital transformation in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

Profesi guru merupakan pekerjaan yang mengandung unsur profesionalisme karena untuk menjadi guru diperlukan ilmu, baik secara konten maupun pedagogi. Kemampuan komunikasi sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di lingkungan sekolah. Komunikasi yang baik antara santri dan guru akan menciptakan tercapainya proses belajar mengajar yang efektif. Selain itu, kepemimpinan juga sangat penting karena memiliki peran yang besar dalam proses pengambilan keputusan dan menentukan keberhasilan lembaga pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi guru-guru di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Sa’idiyah, Bangkalan, Madura. Selain pelatihan komunikasi, guru-guru juga akan diberikan pelatihan dalam mengelola kepemimpinan diri. Melalui pelatihan komunikasi dan kepemimpinan diri tersebut, guru-guru ditargetkan mampu mengambil keputusan secara terukur serta meraih keberhasilan dalam proses belajar mengajar secara efektif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan secara langsung dengan metode pendampingan intensif dan berkolaborasi secara langsung dengan Laboratorium Kewirausahaan FEB UB. Dampak kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat 2024 ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan komunikasi dan kepemimpinan guru Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Sa’idiyah Bangkalan Madura. Pelatihan ini juga diharapkan dapat membantu guru-guru di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Sa’idiyah Bangkalan Madura dalam membangun hubungan yang lebih baik dengan para santri serta memberikan kemampuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengelola berbagai situasi dalam proses belajar mengajar sehingga berimplikasi pada meningkatnya kualitas pendidikan yang ada.

Abstract

In the contemporary landscape of globalization, the heightened competitiveness within the banking industry emerges as a pivotal determinant influencing a firm's attainment of its objectives. To thrive in this fiercely competitive environment, human resources emerge as a paramount factor with the potential to drive all facets of organizational operations. Hence, it becomes imperative for the banking sector to nurture a workforce that demonstrates outstanding performance in the execution of company activities. The primary objective of this research is to examine the impact of transformational leadership and the work environment on employee performance, mediated by the variable of work stress. The study population encompasses all employees of Bank KC Malang Kawi, totaling 116 individuals. The research sample consists of the entire population, encompassing all employees at Bank BRI KC Malang Kawi. Data collection methods employed in this study encompass questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method involves the use of Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings of this research demonstrate that both transformational leadership and the work environment exert an influence on employee performance. Additionally, work stress is identified as a partial mediator between transformational leadership and the work environment in relation to employee performance.
