Abstract

The objective of the study is to analyze the implementation of e-government of the users. The users were the citizen of Bogor City and the government officers in Bogor Government. The implementation of e-government was related to the website application of Bogor Government. The users were considered as the important thing because they could understand and comprehend the benefit of government website and the effectiveness of egovernment implementation. The focus of the study was the implementation of the theory of technology acceptance model. The concept involved the perceived usefulness, the perceived ease of use, and the subjective norm. The model of TAM was extended by involving the perceived risk to clarify of the acceptance of e-government use. The research method was to collect the data and used the survey for distributing the questionnaires of 414 citizens as the respondents in Bogor City. The research result showed that the perceived use influenced the use of the website but it was not significant; meanwhile the perceived ease of use, the perceived risk and the subjective norm influenced the use of the website significantly.

Abstract

Local government officials are required to have sufficient quality and high professionalism to be able to carry out the governmental tasks and community development in order to provide excellent service to the community. The purpose of this study is to identify the application of the principles of human resource management (HRM) on the government officials in East Kalimantan border region and to know the needs of human resource of government officials, both in terms of quantity and quality.This research was conducted in Nunukan, Malinau and West Kutai. By using descriptive quantitative approach,this study found statement of the respondents, such as regarding the recruitment process which still did not meet the expectation. In addition, the staff placed in the border region does not have adequate ability to perform the task given. Furthermore, the development process of human resource has been good; however,the sanction and reward given are still not good.From the results of this study, it can be concluded that in general, human resource management in border regionhas been done, but there is still a shortage of the number of personnel workin the borderregion. Quantitatively, itstill needs improvement, given the wide border area with great number of the people,so that the ratio between the officials and area of service is not balance.This study suggeststhat human resource management of government officialsin border areashould be done as one of the successes and efforts in order to improve public services for the community; therefore, itshould be conducted seriously.

Abstract

This research aims to know the amount of Sectio Caesarea unit cost as a basis to recommend the price. Beside that this research also aims to know cost component which influences Sectio Caesarea unit cost and to know factoHospital that can influence counting Sectio Caesarea unit cost in the hospital. The method used in this research is Operational research and this research is descriptive with an approach to quantitative and qualitative data. Unit cost calculation using real cost method. The results show that Sectio Caesarea unit cost as a basis to recommend the price of Rp. 7,687,231.03. Hospital costs currently only reach CRR 102.86%. The proposed price of Section Caesarea amounted to Rp. 7,878,000.00. Cost components that affect the unit cost are direct costs, indirect costs, and utilization. FactoHospital affecting the calculation of the unit cost include never done a cost analysis, incomplete data, human resource capability, knowledge of human resources, and lack of skills of human resources. From these results Need to do a cost analysis, revamping financial statements, and equipment inventory.

Abstract

Pharmacy Department an important role in the hospital service because almost 80% of patients will have medical prescription. However, the pharmacy department in this hospital has a different between the standard which have been set by the Government and the implementation of pharmacy service. Furthermore, after the intervention applied, it showed the decreased number of waiting time for medicine and also this decline has influence the patient satisfaction. In Karsa Husada general hospital the percentage of patient satisfaction is about 68.50% and the patients who satisfy with the service said that they will visit the hospital again. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the quality improvement of outpatients pharmacy service influence the patient loyalty through patient satisfaction. The method of this research was quantitative research with observational analytical study and used the cross sectional as the approach. The population of this research is about 1.143 patients who have been received outpatient pharmacy service, meanwhile the sample is about 89 patients who are not using insurance. The data analyzed using PLS which using SMART PLS program. Based on the result, it showed that the quality improvement of pharmacy service has positive effect and also significant towards patient satisfaction. However, the result showed that the quality improvement of pharmacy service and patient satisfaction has positive effect but not significant towards patient loyalty, then it also showed that the quality improvement of pharmacy service has positive effects but not significant towards patient loyalty through patient satisfaction in Pharmacy Department on Karsa Husada general hospital. Suggestions that can be given to the hospital that is to keep facilities and do strategy to prevent medicine void.

Abstract

The performance of employees is closely related to compensation (total cash), organizational culture, and leadership. This research aims to identify the independent variables: compensation (X1), leadership (X2), and organizational culture (X3) by dependent variable of performance (Y). The result of multiple regression analysis had identified that organizational culture dominantly influenced the employee performance in the Integrated Office of Malang City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial distress condition of such service company by employing the method of Altman and Zmijewski as well as comparing the analysis result using both methods. This is a descriptive quantitative study with the sampling technique of purposive sampling. The number of samples of this study is 4 shipping service companies listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange since 2010, such as PT. SAMIN, PT. BLT, PT. MitrabahteraSegaraSejatiTbk (PT. MBSS) dan PT. Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (PT. WOM). The data are analyzed using Altman and Zmijewski method. The result indicates that out of four service companies: PT. MBSS is the most financially stable company, while PT. BLT is the company with the worst condition of financial distress condition. The use of both methods also produces results which are not different; what is different is only in terms of the assessment standards. It is advisable to predict financial distress in shipping companies using more than one method for every method employs different standard just to confirm the result.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one solution that encouraged the government to promote the nation's economy. The study says that at least 2% of entrepreneurs in a country are required to make the country progress. With the growing number of entrepreneurs, the number of jobs created will also increase, so that the community will grow independently in economic terms. The growth of entrepreneurial figures is done in various aspects; one of them is through education. This study aims to see how to grow entrepreneurial behavior through the phase of intention in the educational environment. This research uses a qualitative method with focus group discussion method, documentation, and observation. The result is a design on how to grow entrepreneurship behavior through the phase of intention in creating entrepreneurship in education.

Abstract

The purpose of a college library is to meet the needs of lecturers who conduct teaching and learning processes and who concern Three College Dharma (teaching, research and community service). It is necessary to consider factors underlying users'reasons to visit libraries. Using exploratory quantitative methods, this paper aims to investigate servicescape library factors that affect users' interests. Data were collected through questionnaires containing twenty five statements related to college library servicescape. The population as well as the sample of this study involved 346 respondents such as lecturers, students and staff. This study found college library serviscape factors were obtained through five stages such as data preparation stage; extraction factor stage; axis rotation factor stage; model operation stage and result use stage. Likert scale model was employed to score each statement in the questionnaires. Five factors were grouped such as cleanliness and comfortable facilities, aesthetic facilities, accessibility to layout, facility appearance and functionality of facilities. The factor with the lowest mean of 3.58 was Fungctionality of the Facilities. This factor included the room light indicator; appropriate lighting (sunlight); convenient library opening hours for users; adequate lockers/caretaker and adequate carrel reading/study desk.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education has more varied teaching methods than other teaching methods in education. One of the most commonly used teaching methods is experiential- based learning. Through this method, students experience entrepreneurship education through their experience of establishing real business projects. One important aspect of this method is the target given to students. Target is one of the most frequently used aspects of management control mechanism, especially performance measurement. This study aims to investigate in-depth how students as businessmen interpret target charged to them. Qualitative approach with descriptive phenomenology method is used in this study. Interview is used as the primary data collection method. This study found that target is interpreted in such a way by the students. In this study, it is found that target is positively interpreted by students, but there are some students interpret target negatively. There is one key that arises in the interpretation; target is the key to the success of the business project run by students because target can increase student's motivation in running business project.

Abstract

This research uses interpretive approach through visual semiotics method. Visual semiotics method is done by purposive sampling the most popular five videos that have been produced and uploaded by Bayu SKAK on his YouTube channel. The researcher also gathers some data from second resources to find out its impact on economic site. The result of the research shows that YouTube as a public communication channel and entrepreneurship. Bayu SKAK's video blogging consists of creative ideas and also a media for digital entrepreneurship. Digital entrepreneurship is able to create a new environment for evolutionary creative industries that are based on ideas, networking, and self-creativity. The culture and communication pattern is developed between the Vlogger as the creative producer and the audience as the consumer of vlogs. On one side, YouTube channels have been an open commercial public space for people of the age of information, has more than one role by being the audio-visual consumer and also the producer, on the other side there have been problems, such as institutional problems, copyright protection, and advertisement management. However, socializing the use of video blogging through YouTube channels can be an alternative way to improve and develop digital entrepreneurship in Indonesia. Educating the society through social media can promote the various types of new businesses based on digital entrepreneurship through the creativity and the contribution of teenagers to digital native. This research does not reveal the Vlogger's strategy to attract large viewers, and it becomes an important issue to explore the benefits of social media.
