Abstract

The use and utilization of ICT for SMEs attract the attention of many parties. The problems of SMEs in Yogyakarta, Indonesia that is so diverse cannot be simplified on the issue of technology adoption. Moreover, increasing competitiveness is necessary so that ICT can truly be a bridging digital disparity. The action research activity is carried out to close the gap which not only focuses on understanding the pattern of technology adoption alone but also involves action steps in helping SMEs to survive and able to compete. The results showed that the SMEs still had difficulty in utilizing ICT from the upstream side. This is triggered by the limitations of existing human capital in managing technical and operational aspects of ICT. Therefore, the strategies to use of ICT for SMEs is recommended to combine a proactive and reactive approach so that the optimization of resources will be achieved. Accordingly, we suggest that further studies apply the implementation of ICT on proactive and reactive actions to close the knowledge gap between the two in a different setting, context, location, and/or culture.

Abstract

This study aims to examine system interactivity affecting member commitment and intention to continue participating in the online hijabs community. At the same time, testing how the role of virtual sites in the form of posting in strengthening the relationship (moderate) system interactivity to continue to participate in the online hijabs community. An online hijabs community was researched because the problem observed in the research was relevant to the virtual community. Based on 358 valid responses from students in Surabaya who actively joined the online hijabs community obtained from questionnaires at each university in Surabaya, structural equations modeling (SEM) was used to test the research model. The results show that system interactivity affects commitment to the community, but does not affect the intentions of members to continue their participation in online hijabs communities. Likewise, commitment to the community does not stimulate the intentions of members to remain actively participating in online hijabs communities. Although, an interesting form of posting can strengthen the system's interactivity relationship of members' intentions to continue their participation in online communities. Implications for both marketing theory and practice, limitations, and future research on video storytelling in social media are discussed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand supply chain management practices, Lean & Green management, and the integration of Lean & Green Supply Chain Management in PG. Krebet Baru - PG. Rajawali I in improving operational performance in supplier and manufacturing chains. The method used is case study qualitative research through interviews, observation, documentation, document review & corporate websites that produce data analysis. The results of this research data analysis produced the first proposition related to supply chain management practices, namely coordination in the flow of material, information, and finance that is being increased by PG Krebet efforts in maintaining better cooperative relations with farmer groups as suppliers. The second proposition relates to lean management practices, namely the efficiency of human resources and natural resources, reduction of lead time, and reduction of inventory is an activity that can increase added value to the company. The third proposition is related to green management practices, namely environmentally-friendly innovation in the operating system is a strategy to improve the application of environmental management. The synergy between the practice of lean and green supply chain in improving operational performance also results in a fourth proposition, namely the commitment of suppliers (farmer groups) to PG. Krebet will improve company efficiency and environmental performance which may improve product quality and flexibility and reduce costs. Suggestions for further research, which in this case study, can be continued in the entire supply chain from suppliers to consumers to better understand lean and green management practices in all sugar industry supply chain members.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and innovation on visitor satisfaction and loyalty in Bogor City Public Service Mall. Another thing that also needs to be answered from this study is whether there is an effect of customer satisfaction on loyalty in using the services of the Bogor City Public Service Mall. This study used primary data that were collected via interviews and questionnaires distribution to 81 MPP Kota Bogor visitors who were selected by purposive sampling method. The analysis used in this research is modeling analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results of this study indicate that service quality has a significant effect on visitor satisfaction and loyalty. Another result is that innovation has a significant effect on visitor satisfaction, but has no significant effect on visitor loyalty. This study also shows that visitor satisfaction has a significant effect on visitor loyalty. Further research is needed with a broader model to explain the diversity of satisfaction and loyalty variables. It is also necessary to conduct a study comparing the services in the Bogor City MPP with the services in the original institution in terms of the level of satisfaction and loyalty of the community.

Abstract

Celebrity endorsement is a form of marketing communication done both online and offline as it creates a positive brand attitude. However, its effectiveness in influencing customers' purchase decision needs to be considered. This quantitative research took the sample from 249 respondents who experience in shopping and comprehend the role of celebrity endorsement. The SmartPLS 3.0 was used in data analyzing techniques, and bootstrap testing was also employed. The results show that celebrity endorsement affects customers' attitudes, but it does not affect their purchasing behavior. Adding brand trust as a moderator variable enhances the influence of celebrity endorsement on brand attitude. Therefore, marketers need to be able to see how big brand trust is owned before deciding to use celebrity endorsement to market their product. Future researchers can apply models in cultures of other countries and focus on the profile of specific celebrities so that the results can be generalized more.
