Abstract

One of the keys to success in the organization's growth is the ability of organizations in recruiting, developing, and maintain the human resources wh ch the development of employee behavior are taken into account to improve the quality of service provided by the organization. One of the concepts of behavior is the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), which is defined as a behavior beyond the standards defined by the organization. Some variables which affect the OCB development in the organization are the job satisfaction and organization commitment.On the other side, Malang Regency Government is currently trying to improve the OCB in SOEs (State Owned Enterprises), such as the State Electricity Company (PLN), in order to improve the quality of service to the public.65 employees of Malang regency government has been taken as an object in this study, multiple linear regression approach is used as an analysis method with job satisfaction and organizational commitment are treated as two independent variables, while the OCB itself is treated as the dependent variable. The results showed that both variables have an influence, but job satisfaction is the most dominant variable on OCB.

Abstract

The new era of health culture is concerned about patient safety, where the patients have the right to obtain information from doctors about the actions & treatment for them. Preliminary study results show that comprehension level of Caesarean section patients is still low (56%) and there is a big risk for the hospital to get medical litigations. This study aims to determine the influence of physician communication skills and patient's characteristics against the patient's comprehension of caesarean section. This study was an observational study with the cross sectional approach with 70 post-cesarean patients samples using purposive sampling. Data were collected by a questionnaire containing questions about physician communication skills, patient's comprehension and patient's characteristics and this study using logistic regression analysis. The test results showed that simultaneously, there is significant influence between doctor's communication skills, age, a level of education and experience of the patient against the patient's comprehension. Partially, showed a significant influence of physician communication skills and patient experience on the patient's comprehension of a caesarean section, with the most dominant factor is physician communication skills.Therefore, the hospital can improve physician communication skills by doing communication training.

Abstract

Small Medium Enterprise (SME) that has good supply chain performance can help its ability to solve business problems. In fact, there are still a lot of SMEs that fail in supply chain management due to many factors influencing their implementation. This research aims to analysis relation between factors influencing supply chain and the performance of supply chain management in Tempe Chips Industries in Sanan Village Malang.Data collections were done through questionnaire deployed to 200 owners or manager of Tempe Chips SME in SananVillage, Malang. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Analysis result shows that information sharing and customer service give the most dominant influence to supply chain management’s performance in Sanan’s Tempe Chips industries.

Abstract

The impact of decline in production IKM is decrease the competitiveness. That is the emergence of the need to identify the added value, risk supply chain and competitiveness of SMEs Fish Crackers. Identification of the value added by Hayami method the result showed thatthe value added amounted Rp 5522 per kg with a percentage of 67.23 percent. The risk identification using FMEA method showedthe highest risk index of delivery risk and supply risk, and to see the effect of the risk, the value added to competitiveness used SmartPLS method. The result showed that the variable MRP has a significant effect to variable R, variable MRP against variable K did not have a significant effect to the variable K, variable R did not affect to variable NT. Variable R has a significant effect tovariable DS, Variable NT has a significant effect to the DS.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about businesses and other organizations going beyond the legal obligations to manage the impact they have on the environment and society. In particular, this could include how organizations interact with their employees, suppliers, customers and the communities in which they operate, as well as the extent they attempt to protect the environment. CSR broadly represents the relationship between a company and the wider communiry within which the company operates. It is recognition on the part of the business that 'for profit' entities do not exist in a vacuum, and that a large part of any success they enjoy is as much due to the context in which they operate as factors internal to the company alone. This article is describe the contribution of CSR resulted by The Stale Owned Company (BUMN) which head office was in East Java. Today, BUMN's CSR program in East Java has still concern in partnership and community development program. There are many colleges in East Java that can be involved by BUMN in order to advance the company. Colleges can be involved in case of research connection with necessity.

Abstract

The study was conducted in several private universities in Bandung that already launched a program of internationalization in response to the issue of globalization are increasingly demanding education providers increasingly globally oriented. This study aims to analyze further the factors that drive an institution to improve the quality of teaching, particularly in the preparation of curriculum arrangement and learning plans that meet global orientation by analyzing two variables that allegedly as the drivers, namely institution favorable governance and faculty's global awareness. The research method using descriptive analysis and verificative analysis with IBM SPSS ver. 22 and IBM AMOS ver. 20 as a data processor. The results show that good institutional governance can force lecturers to develop their knowledge and global competence, without any support and strengthening in the form of legitimacy from the institute, is not able to create a globalized learning, and good institutional governance is accompanied by global knowledge and awareness, Can make lecturers a major axis in the creation of a globally oriented learning environment, especially in drafting the curriculum and globalized learning instruction.

Abstract

Hospital-acquired infections (HAI) are infections that occur in healthcare while undergoing treatment procedures and medical treatment. HAI causes elongation of hospitalization, do harm to the patient and increases maintenance costs. The most effective way to limit the spread of HAI is to implement hand hygiene by the rules. The results of preliminary study in Ananda Hospital Srengat Blitar found that nosocomial infection rates is high (infusion phlebitis incident is 12.4%) and nurses hand hygiene compliance is low (hand hygiene compliance is 26%). The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between the completeness of handrub and posters on the nurses's intention to change to perform hand hygiene correctly. The research method is use the design explanatory research with cross sectional approach. The results showed that the completeness of handrub clinically significant influence intention to change to perform hand hygiene (P = 0.000), while between the poster and the intention to change had effect but not significant (P = 0.128) and completeness of handrub and posters simultaneously significant effect on the intention to change (P = 0.000). This study can be concluded that the completeness of handrub and posters are a combination that can help to increase the nurse's intention to change to perform hand hygiene than partially effect.

Abstract

Completion inpatient discharge administration is a combination of some unit performance in services of a particular patient in a hospital. Delay in inpatient discharge due to delays in the completion process of administration have an impact such as prolong the waiting time of inpatient discharge. Waiting time can change patient's perception of the service quality of RS UMM. This study aims to determine the difference between waiting time of inpatient discharge service before and after enactment of director policy administration. This study is descriptive research with the research design use pre and post intervention. Development of data use observation in three (3) point of research, that is the ward, pharmacy, and cashier. The relationship between the director policy with inpatient discharge waiting time in RS UMM tested by using independent T-test in statistical software SPSS 20.0.The result showed no difference between waiting time of inpatient discharge services before and after implementation of director policy administration, although the data obtained that the waiting time before greater than waiting time after enactment of director policy administration (3,222 hours > 2,802 hours). The process of observation found another factor that suspected to affect the administrative process, they are the time of visiting from specialist over at 20.00 and under 07.00, the giving information of discharge patient not by the doctor in charge, a weak system of evaluation program by the managerial, and manufacture of prescription drugs that are not according with hospital formulary.

Abstract

This Research is expected to know the influence of the quality of services installation pharmaceutical a pharmaceutical, attitude officers, speed service, the provision of information and education medicine, and the availability of medicines of satisfaction outpatients at the hospital Amelia simultaneously, partial and the dominant. The results of the study can also be used as the basis in the arrangement the development program of increasing the quality of services pharmaceutical in conformity with expectation patients and renders service IFRS Amelia be an option to obtain medicine.The research is research observational analytic with the approach cross-sectional.Data analysis to research this using analysis linear regression multiple. The research results show that all dimensions the quality of services pharmaceutical influential together to satisfaction patients. Three dimensions speed service, the provision of information and education medicine and the availability of medicines influential be partial to satisfaction patients. Factors that dominant influential the quality of services pharmaceutical to satisfaction outpatients is a factor the availability of medicines.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of brand awareness to brand reputation and brand trust at local chain restaurant industry in Malang. Further more, this study aimed to determine the mediating effect of variable brand reputation between brand awareness and brand trust. This explanatory study used purposive sampling techniques by 100 respondents. Data were collected by questionnaire. Hypothesis testing used by path analysis. The result  showed that the brand awareness has indirect effect to brand trust through brand reputation as intervening variable, the brand awareness has a significant effect to brand reputation, andthe brand reputation has a significant effect to brand trust.
