Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of competence and knowledge management on performance (a case study of BAPETEN employees). Respondents in this study were BAPETEN employees, totaling 490 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Amos with Amos software version 24. The results of this study found that competence and knowledge management affect positively and significantly on performance. And also gender as a moderating variable does not have a significant effect on employee performance or competence, due to the absence of a distinction between male and female genders. So it is expected that further researchers can expand the variables in improving performance in the company.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a form of corporate moral responsibility to its stakeholders. The impact of the company's operational results must be accountable as a form of social responsibility to the stakeholders. The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility done by the company well provides benefits in increasing the value of the company in the eyes of investors which can also affect the company's financial performance. This research was conducted to determine and explain the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on the value of the company and the company's financial performance and to know and explain the influence of the company's value on the company's financial performance. This study uses quantitative research types, namely explanatory research with approval, where this research was conducted on cement manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. The research sample was obtained using a purposive sample method so as many as 6 sample units were obtained and using panel data there were 30 units of analysis. The data analysis technique used in this study is PLS (Partial Least Square) using SmartPLS. The results of this study indicate that Corporate Social Responsibility has a significant and positive effect on firm value, Corporate Social Responsibility has an insignificant and negative effect on Financial Performance, and Corporate Value has an insignificant and positive effect on Financial Performance.

Abstract

This research is based on government civil state apparatus as the government's front guard that reflects the healthy and strong government but the facts showed that there are cases of government doing fraudulent behavior from mild to severe. Also, it aims to reveal the phenomenon of fraud behavior of the civil apparatus. This is the preliminary research obtained from interviews and observation in the field by actively participating in every government activity. The result of the research shows that the mild cheating fraud behavior in each unit of the regional apparatus is handled by the superior of the agency and they only make a report of doing coaching to the employment agency and the human resource development. For the medium and heavy fraud behavior, the coaching is done by the employment agency and human resource development together with the inspectorate agency by making a coaching team. Coaching is done based on complaints from the number of Regional Work Unit (SKPD), community complaints, and monthly attendance monitoring. The phenomenon of fraud behavior in the government environment. Furthermore, the results of this study can act also as consideration matters to change the system, procedures, and policies to prevent fraud behavior and suppress the culture. For further researchers to make a comparison of methods and mix methods also find the factors that cause and prevent potential violations

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of organizational commitment in mediating the influence of organizational justice and job involvement on nurses' organizational citizenship behavior. This explanatory research was conducted on the nurses of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang Hospital (UMM Hospital). From the population of 127 nurses, 96 were selected as the sample through a proportionate random sampling method. The statistical analysis through Structural Equation Modelling found that organizational justice has no significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior, job involvement has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior, organizational justice has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational commitment, and job involvement has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational commitment.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze lecturers'perceptions of the implementation of e-learning, evaluate the success of the implementation of e-learning, and analyze the factors that influence and lead to the successful implementation of e-learning in Faculty of ABC in XYZ University. This research used quantitative research. The population involved in this study was lecturers of the Faculty of ABC at XYZ University who implement e-learning. This study used Delone and McLean success model. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) SMART PLS 2.0. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. This study involved 46 lecturers as the sample using Slovin's formula, with a significance level of 10%. Data were collected using questionnaires rated with a Likert scale. The results showed that lecturers' perceptions towards the implementation of e-learning were very good. The highest achievement in its application was found at the level of effectiveness and then followed by a semantic level and technical level. Factors that influence successful implementation of elearning include information quality, use, and user satisfaction with e-learning systems implemented.

Abstract

The research aimed at testing and proving empirically: (1) knowing the corn distribution channel or flow of goods, since producer farmer to the final consumer of Gorontalo Provinice (2) Knowing the corn volume from each channel at Gorontalo Province. (3) Measuring the marketing margin distribution component at each marketing institution level at Gorontalo Province (5). Measuring the price correlation at consumer and producer levels to obtain the market integration level picture at corn marketing at Gorontalo Province. The results showed that: (1) The corn marketing at the research sites consist of three marketing distribution channel. From the three channel, there is main channel that channeling most of the marketing at the first marketing distribution channel, with cumulative volume of 61.075 tons. Based on three distribution channels, it was obtained the efficient relative channel, that is the second and third distribution channel, (2) The marketing margin at the research site of 25.98% so the producer farmer ger farmer's share of 74.02%, (3) The marketing cost and consumer price influence significantly but simultaneously influence of 78.6% while the remain was influenced by other variables that were not included in the model, (4) The correlation coefficient between price at the consumer level and price ar farmer level showed low value, it showed the integrated market condition, but the formed market structure was not full competitive market, (5) The elasticity value of price transmission that less than one reflected the marketing institution practice that direct to not full competitive market or oligosopny to the farmer. But with the low marketing margin value and the high farmer's share, then the formed corn marketing was efficient relative.

Abstract

The small industry plays important role in the national economic. This industry is made of large, medium and small entrepreneurship activities. It has been managed by any individuals through their idea, personal objective, and ambition to produce good combination of resource. They have different skill from others in the character, attitude and perception on business. The objective of research is (1) to analyze the effect of individual characteristic, attitude and perception simultaneously on entrepreneurship behavior, (2) to analyze the effect of individual characteristic, attitude and entrepreneurship partially on entrepreneurship behavior, and (3) to analyze the dominant variable affecting entrepreneurship behavior. This research is conducted on the entrepreneurs of handicraft industry at Lamongan Regency. Result of research indicates that individual characteristic, attitude and perception positively and simultaneously affect entrepreneurship behavior. In partial manner, the dependent variable positively and significantly influences entrepreneurship behavior. Perception is the dominant variable affecting entrepreneurship behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Superleadership on Self leadership employee's performance. Superleadership is expected relationship to improve Self leadership and employee's performance. It is also expected that, improve Self leadership is expected relationship to improve employee's performance. The population of this study is the employee of PTPN V in Riau, who has a position at middle manager. Using a sample of 146 middle manager, Sampling technique of the census method, the author tested structural equation modeling (SEM). All data of the respective measurement items are tested with reliability and validity test based on Alpha Cronbach to the internal consistence by using SPSS program version 16. To analyze the structural equation model, the study uses LISREL 8,70. The result of this study has un important meaning to PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Riau and also to The Plantation of The State Owned Enterprise. This study results a finding that the superleadership and self leadership of the middle manager will increase the employee's performance.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore and describe motives and form of social responsibility in the Islamic bank. The qualitative method is used in study. Based on case study in a branch of Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) in Malang, researchers can find the meaning of social responsibility. Informants show that the social responsibility activities are based on metaphor of religious motivation, such as doing function as a khalifatullah fil ardh and to maintain hablumminannas and hablumminallah in their life. So, the implementation of social responsibility in Islamic bank is not only based on accountability in the economy, social, and environment context, but also accountabity to God. The implication of this meaning, social responsibility activities are done by giving and distributing zakat, infaq, shadaqah (ZIS), doing Aksi Tanggap Muamalat (ATM) when is happened a disaster, and then forming Komunitas Usaha Mikro Muamalat Berbasis Masjid (KUM3). All of programs are organized by Baitul Mal Muamalat (BMM), the social institution of BMI.

Abstract

This study describes how the management of special autonomy fund education sector in the province of Papua. Total special autonomy funds received by the province of Papua is always rising. and in 2011 Papua Special Autonomy funds have S 1.2 Trillion of the fund in accordance with the special autonomy law, the Government Regulation no. 5 in 2006 determined that 30% is for the education sector. Special autonomy fund management problems of education sector in the province of Papua is so large that education funding in the province of Papua, but educational attainment for 10 years or during the era of special autonomy is not experiencing significant growth. It viewed the achievements of human development index provinisi papua for education is still low. The results provide a model of management of special autonomy fund for the education sector is to put more emphasis on capital expenditures, direct public expenditure for education sector in accordance with the mandate of the special autonomy law. perdasus no 1 of 2007, the government regulation No. 5 of 2006. Results achieved when the special autonomy fund management in accordance with the model of the direct management of capital expenditure is a significant educational achievement.
