Abstract

This study explores the unique mandatory residence, Ma'had Sunan Ampel Al Alyi (MSAA), at the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, aiming to develop Quranic reading competence in new students. The varying educational backgrounds of admitted students lead to differences in their Quranic reading capabilities, highlighting the need for adaptive learning. In response to this diversity, adaptive learning using artificial intelligence is employed, implemented through the serious education game "The Ma'had." Survey results from expert individuals using a Game Design Factor Questionnaire reveal the game's substantial potential. The results show high agreement (100%) on clear goals, engaging gameplay, and a sense of freedom, with 67% strongly agreeing on improved understanding. Challenges are motivating, and the game successfully sparks curiosity. "The Ma’had" Game proves effective, but further research is recommended to explore variations in player engagement and compare results with expert test subjects, employing alternative quantitative testing methods for a comprehensive analysis.

Abstract

Workload is something that arises due to excessive activity demands. The workload is not proportional to the number of available workers because of the high target of pipe production while the number of workers is lacking so that human resources cannot work productively, especially in the production department at PT. Harapan Jaya Multi Bisnis. The purpose of this study is to determine the workload of employees in pipe production and determine the optimal number of workers. This study uses the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method to analyze the workload in determining the optimal number of workers. The results of this study after calculating the workload, it is proposed that the fixed cutting section is 2 people with a workload of 62.65%. In Branding, in real terms there is 1 person with a total workload of 11.73% and an average workload of 11.73%. After calculating the workload, it is proposed that the shooting section still be 1 person with a workload of 11.73%, because if additional workers are added, the workload will be too low. The time needed to complete the activity is 7 hours per day. After calculating the workload, Quality Control is proposed to be 1 person, because if additional workers are added, the workload will be too low, namely 7 hours per day.

Abstract

The selection and assessment process of suppliers carried out by Private Airline Holding Company uses subjective assessment. It is not so transparent from the department's head with five criteria of suppliers and just enough sub-criteria. This matter inflicted a few problems, such as the goods received from suppliers not being by the amount ordered, the established quality standards, delays in estimated time delivered and received, and defects often found in the goods. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method that helps solve complex problems by structuring a hierarchy of criteria, stakeholders, and outcomes and by considering many things to develop values or priorities. This research aims to determine the priority criteria and sub-criteria of pilot and flight attendant uniform suppliers and the priority order of the best suppliers, Private Airline Holding Company. This research uses Expert Choice V.11 software to implement the AHP method. The overall evaluation obtained shows that five criteria and thirteen sub-criteria were used. The best supplier based on data processing is Supplier 1, with a value of 0.213.

Abstract

Saramanta Homemade located in Boja, Kendal is an MSME that produces various cakes. In its production, Saramanta Homemade experiences several obstacles, namely: less than optimal layout; work is done without a work desk, which affects worker he alth and reduces productivity; and decreased profits due to increased costs due to the supply of raw materials. In previous studies, productivity optimization was only focused on layout planning, while this study discusses measuring supply chain performance to increase profits and product design to implementation of designed products. Therefore, researchers use the EFD, SLP, and SCOR methods to solve these problems. The EFD method is used to design an ergonomic work desk with dimensions l = 1610mm, w = 710mm, and h = 1020mm so that it can reduce musculoskeletal complaints as evidenced by a RULA value of 2. The SLP method is used for changing positions between departments, shortening the moving distance by 71%, the total moving time by 50%, and OMH by 47% so that the layout can be optimized through the proposed layout design using Blocplan software. SCM performance measurement with SCOR of 63.83% (average). As well as alternative proposals for selecting suppliers from Semarang, shipping costs of Rp50,000, Emina cheese brand of Rp45,000/kg, and the addition of 4 workers so that expenses are reduced by 5.8%, profits increase by 58.1%, and cash-to-cash cycle time becomes 31% shorter.
