Abstract

The purpose of this research aimed to test the influence of the implementation of region management information system on the quality of financial statement of regional government at Department of pekerjaan umum and penata an ruang province Bengkulu. The research population was 25 people who are the employees at this department. Research data were questionnaire as the primary data. The simple linear regression analysis was the technique of analysis of this research.Research result showed that the implementation of region management information system influenced significantly to the quality of financial statement of regional government at Department of of pekerjaan umum and penataan ruang province Bengkulu.. It was approved by the value of determinant coefficient which was 75.3%. It meant that the quality of financial statement was influenced 75.3% by the spatial planning region management information system.Keywords: regional government, management information system, quality, financial.

Abstract

Ecotourism offers a different form of travel than mass tourism. Ecotourism also provides a learning process to protect and care for nature, and improve the welfare of local communities around or within the ecotourism destination. This study was conducted to find the right approach to developing ecotourism. The main focus is given to the potential of regional ecotourism, including human, cultural, and supporting resources. Research is also conducted to determine the perspective of tourists because meeting their needs cannot be sustainably separated from business goals. This study uses data sources grouped into two, namely primary and secondary data. Abstract

The pattern of development in the city of Bengkulu is directed at building tourism and its development. This is because most of the city of Bengkulu is in the coastal region of the Indonesian Ocean. The potential of tourist areas in the city of Bengkulu is very large, especially for the development of tourism based on sea and fisheries. The Bengkulu City Government has established coastal area development programs, one of which is in Bengkulu Market Fisheries Village. Facilities and infrastructure supporting coastal tourism have been sought by the Bengkulu City government such as the construction of tourist area entrances, shelters, parking lots and other supporting facilities. Other support is to mobilize the community to sell Bengkulu special culinary and other sea culinary, so that the development of fisherman villages as tourist areas can be achieved.

Abstract

The existence of the internet can help activities in running a company, and it is very useful for improving internal and external communication, and also able to strive for more efficient services. So that internet usage has become an unavoidable need. However, it is still much more employees use the internet that has nothing to do with work, called cyberloafing behavior. The current study intend to investigate the dynamic of employee’s role in the work place, such as role conflict, role ambiguity, role ove rload, and its relation to the cyberloafing. The goal of the research is to test the effect of role conflict, role ambiguity, and role overload on cyberloafing. Eighty employees from a private company located in Bengkulu city choosen as sample frame of the research. The Multiple Regression Analysis was employed to test theresearch hypotheses. The research conluded that role conflict and role ambiguity affect the cyberloafing behavior positively, while the role overload affect the cyberloafing behavior negatively

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to Implementation of the good corporate governance (GCG) principles in addition to improving bank competitiveness itself, also provide more protection to the community. The implementation of the good corporate governance (GCG) principles becomes a trust given the banking industry that manages public funds (customers). The objective of this research is to know the analysis implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) principles in PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Branch of Bengkulu. The object of this research is permanent employee of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Branch Office of Bengkulu which amounted to 67 people, with sampling method that is total sampling. The sources of data in this study through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with mean method and frequency distribution table. The results of this study research that, implemtasi good corporate governance (GCG) principles at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Branch of Bengkulu has been running well with the average value of the statement 3.77 (good). Furthermore, the implementation principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness have gone well with the average value each statement of 3.71 (good), 3.86 (good), 3.76 (good), 3.67 (good), 3.86 (good).Keyword: governance, bank, competitiveness.

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the influence of experiential marketing to customer loyalty at sumpit mas restaurant in Bengkulu. The population of the research is the customer of sumpit mas restaurant. The amount of samples are selected 150 costumers by using accidental sampling. The research consists of a dependent variable that is customer loyalty and five independent variables which are dimension of experiential marketing : sense, feel, think, act and relate. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively, using multiple regression analysis with previously tested for validity and reliability. The result showed that sense,feel,think,act and relate towards of the customer loyalty respectively. The result of this research convey that all of the independent variables simultaneously affect the customer loyalty positif and significantly. Partially test proved that all variables affect positif and significant to costumer loyalty where sense variable has affected most significantly. Therefore sumpit mas restaurant should be pay attetion seriously to increase all independent variables to enhance the customer loyalty such as to give cheff sharingpayment system, set the time standar in order taking, serve customer more friendly, hold costumer gathering event at sumpit mas. Management of the companies should improve experiental marketing so in the future customer loyalty more improve and better.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine whether there are significant differences in the (LDR, NPL, ROA, ROE, ROA, NIM and PDN) between government bank compared to private banks in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) the period of 2008-2012. Method of sample selection was done by purposive sampling, the samples obtained from government banks  such as BNI, BRI, BTN, and Mandiri bank, while from private banks such as BCA, BII, CIMB Niaga Bank and Panin Bank. Data analysis methods is hypothesis testing using two different test mean (pair sample t test). The results showed that the financial performance of the ratio for LDR, NPL, ROA, ROE, ROA and PDN there is no significant difference between the government banks and private banks. While the financial performance of the NIM ratio there are significant differences between the government banks and private banks.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to test the effect of compensation toward employee performance with self esteem as intervening variable. This study is a descriptive research which aims to clarify the relationship or influence that exist between the variables studied. The type of data used a primary data that is collected from questionnaires. Respondents of this study is the employees of plantation company in Bengkulu Province as many 196 people were taken with the judgemental (purposive sampling) technique. The methods of data analysis used are descriptive analysis by using the mean, frequency distribution table and regression analysis. The based on result of analysis, obtained result that: 1). Compensation has a positive and significant effect on the employee's self esteem. This means that the higher the employee's compensation, the employee self esteem will also be higher; 2). Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that the higher the employee's compensation the employee's performance will also be better; 3). Self esteem has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that the higher the self esteem of an employee the employee performance is also better; And 4). Compensation affects employee performance with self esteem as intervening variable, but direct influence is greater than indirect influence. This means that self esteem serves only as a partial mediation variable only.Keywords: compensation, performance, self esteem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is know that a influence of motivation, job satisfaction, and work stress on employee’s performance of PT. Toyota Agung Automall  Bengkulu. The subject of this study are employee who have worked on PT Toyota Agung Automall Bengkulu. Data were collected via questionnaires. 175 effective samples were collected to verify the hypotheses of this study. For data analysis and hypotheses testing, multiple linier regresion techinque was used. Sampling techinique in this study using census method. The result show that a motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work stress is significantly effect on employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to reexamine the scale of service quality measurement that refers to multi-dimensional concepts. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. This research is a quantitative research. Sampling in this study was carried out randomly by using probability sampling with a stratified random sampling technique in obtaining information from respondents. The number of samples used was 200 people in each department in the Economic and Business Faculty, University of Bengkulu. The results showed that service quality can be classified into 6 factors. These factors consist of Factor 1 which focuses on administrative services; Factor 2 which focuses on facilities and infrastructure; Factor 3 which focuses on the quality of teaching; Factor 4, which focuses on resource allocation; Factor 5, which focuses on the ease of borrowing space; and Factor 6 focuses on lecturer responsiveness to student complaints. The higher education institution and each unit under it are expected to pay attention to these factors in developing policies and programs.  Keyword:   Service Quality, HEdPerf (Higher Education Performance), HiEdQual (Higher Education Quality), Higher Education Institution.
