Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of job training to improve knowledge, skills, attitudes and personality in carrying out the functions and responsibilities toward the achievement of organizational goals. The method used in this study is a survey by conducting in depth-interviews to the employees of the Regional Personnel Board of Bengkulu Province. The results of this study indicate that in particular training or training that has been followed by employees can improve knowledge, work skills, and understanding of their work. This is shown in the way the work and how to solve problems effectively that can be done by employees. Practically the results of this study revealed that an organization needs human resources that have a good individual capacity such as knowledge, skills and understanding in the work. The education and training programs followed by employees are believed to have benefited from individual capacity building and capability, thereby impacting on the quality of services provided.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of: (1) Return on Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and the proportion of women in board of directors on income smoothing. (2) Further, this study also investigates the moderating effect of proportion of women in board of directors on effect of ROA, DER, and NPM to income smoothing. Data were collected from anufacture companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the year of 2013 -2015. Multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis were used to test the hypotesis in this study. The results of multiple regression analysis show that Return on Asset (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) influence the income smoothing. Meanwhile, Net Profit Margin (NPM) does not influence the income smoothing. The result of moderated regression analysis shows that the proportion of women does not moderate the effect of Return on Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on income smoothing. Those could happen because very women are sit in the Board of Directors of the firms in Indonesia.Keywords: Income Smoothing, Return on Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Net profit Margin (NPM).

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of work conflicts and working pressure toward employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu 38000. This research was an explanatory research by using quantitative research. Sample of this research was all of the population of the PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu 38000 employee with total sample was 103 employee. To know the validity of the data, the researcher used validity and reliability of instrument. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the researcher used double linier regression. Based on the result of analysis data, the researcher found that 1) concurrently work conflicts and working pressure give significant positive effect toward the employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu. 2) Partially work conflicts give significant positive effect toward the employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu. 3) Partially working pressure give significant positive effect toward the employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu.

Abstract

This research aim to examine four constructs that represent employee attitudes towards organizational change; readiness for change, commitment to change, openness to change and cynicism about organizational change. This research would help the public organization to overcome changes.. This research is a type of descriptive research that aims to describe the nature of something that is ongoing at the time the research is conducted and examine the cause of a particular symptom. The population in this study are employees of public sector organizations that are undergoing organizational changes in the Province of West Sumatra. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling where the sampling technique is based on a certain criterion. In this case the criteria for sampling are employees with organizations that are undergoing changes. The data collection technique used was a survey by distributing questionnaires to employees of public sector organizations in West Sumatra. The number of respondents in this study were 100 respondents. The result shows that openness to change have the highest mean, followed by readiness to change, commitment to change and cynicism about organizational change. It means that employees in public organization in West Sumatra are willing to accommodate and accept change. Keywords: employee attitudes towards organizational change; readiness for change; commitment to change; openness to change; cynicism about organizational change

Abstract

Abstraksi: Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji secara empiris variabel penilaian kinerja keuangan dengan metode economic value added pada industri perbankan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data sekunder yang bersumber dari dokumentasi industri perbankan di Indonesia, diantaranya adalah dokumentasi laporan keuangan dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir (2011-2015). Sampel penelitian ini sejumlah industri perbankan yang terdaftar dalam BEI dan telah dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi praktis dan teoritis. Luaran penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada jurnal ilmiah manajemen di tingkat nasional ataupun internasional, sehingga dapat menambah track record penelitian dosen FEB UNIB.Kata kunci: penilaian kinerja keuangan, economic value added, perbankan indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze credit management, the cause of bad credit, and handling loan problems in banking. This research uses quantitative methods, and the data used are secondary. The data used is based on the application of credit management and credit collectibility data, the level of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loans (NPL), loan limits, and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). The results of this study indicate that Bengkulu Branch BTPN has carried out the stages of credit management appropriately. The findings in this study explain that the causes of bad credit are customers who have family problems, business failures, and unexpected things. The handling of problem loans is done by rescheduling, reconditioning, restructuring, and handing over collateral to BTPN KC Bank Bengkulu.

Abstract

The fact that there is still work in the field that can hamper the performance of human resources, such as contraproductive behavior. Behavioral contraproductive behavior is a serious problem that can also harm the organization as a whole. At Indomaret in Kota Bengkulu it self, some time ago there had been cases of price differences listed on the shelf of goods and on the scanner machine connected at the checkout counter. In addition, the cashier there is a mistake to record the goods purchased by consumers into two pieces causing a double payment. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of distributive justice and contraproductive work behavior on Indomaret employees in the city of Bengkulu. The sample of research is Indomaret employee in Bengkulu city. Data collection technique in this research is hand delivery by using questionnaire. The data has been collected and then analyzed using qualitative analysis approach. The result of research shows that there is a negative correlation between distributive justice and contraproductive work behavior to Indomaret employees. The relationship between distributive justice and contraproductive work behavior which is a negative relationship means that if distributive justice is perceived by the employee, then the likelihood of employees engaging with contraproductive behavior will be small.Keywords: Distributive justice, contraproductive work Behavior, Store leader, Indomaret Employee.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyze the influence of Return On Asset (ROA) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on corporate value with CSR as a moderating variable in the mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2010 -2014. The number of population for this research is 40 company and the number of sample that examined after passed the purposive sampling phase is 11 company. The analysis method used in this research that is with moderated regression analysis, panel data regression, hypothesis test that is determinant coefficient, test F, and test T. From the result of simultan analysis variable Return On Asset (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) have significant influence toward corporate value (tobin’s Q). The result of partial this research shows that only Return On Asset (ROA) have significant influence toward corporate value (tobin’s Q). The disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is can’t able to moderate relation of NPM and corporate value, and able to moderate relation of ROA and corporate value

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the influence of the quality of service to the satisfaction of the training participants at Balai Latikan Kerja (BLK) in Bengkulu Province. The method used in this research is survey with interview approach to get observation data directly. The results of this study indicate that the role of instructors (HR) and methods greatly affect the success of trainees in the future. The positive impact of good service will increase customer satisfaction and loyalty as well as the desire to re-buy, which will increase the income received from the products sold. In order to compete, survive, and grow, the organization is required to be able to meet the needs and desires of customers by providing the best service and quality. Based on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that may occur, then the biggest weakness is the quality of instructors and learning space into the greatest weakness.Keywords: service quality, satisfaction , SWOT analysis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions for KFC products in the city of Bengkulu. This research was conducted based on a quantitative approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire involving 100 respondents. Data analysis was used using multiple linear regression. The results of this study reveal that the influence of brand image has a significant effect on purchasing decisions on KFC products in Bengkulu City. The effect of product quality has a significant effect on decisions on KFC products in Bengkulu City.Keywords: product quality; Product Knowledge; and Purchase Decision.
