Abstract

Kemampuan dalam pengendalian motor listrik (Electric Motor Control Wiring) merupakan keterampilan penting bagi teknisi di bidang teknik elektro. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, penggunaan simulator dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi praktis siswa secara efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi keahlian electric motor control wiring siswa melalui penggunaan Electrical Control Techniques Simulator (EKTS) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Swadhipa 2 Natar bidang keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan teori, dan simulasi praktik dalam penggunaan simulator EKTS untuk memahami konsep dan aplikasi pengendalian motor listrik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya pemahaman baru terkait penggunaan perangkat lunak Electrical Control Techniques Simulator (EKTS) bagi peserta dalam bidang wiring kontrol motor listrik. Selain itu, penggunaan Electrical Control Techniques Simulator (EKTS) memberikan pengalaman belajar yang aman dan efisien tanpa risiko kecelakaan kerja, sehingga meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan kesiapan peserta dalam menghadapi tantangan di lapangan. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan kompetensi lulusan SMK Swadipha 2 Natar di bidang teknik elektro dapat ditingkatkan untuk mendukung kebutuhan industri dan mengurangi kesenjangan antara kemampuan teknis lulusan dan tuntutan dunia kerja. Abstract

Era digital saat ini menuntut keahlian dalam teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) untuk berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Teknologi IoT memungkinkan berbagai perangkat terhubung dan berkomunikasi melalui jaringan internet, memberikan solusi yang lebih efisien dan otomatis. Dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), penting bagi siswa untuk memiliki pemahaman dasar IoT sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan industri 4.0. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan dasar IoT bagi siswa SMK Swadhipa 2 Natar. Pelatihan difokuskan pada penggunaan perangkat Arduino Uno untuk merancang saklar otomatis sebagai aplikasi sederhana IoT. Metode pelatihan meliputi pengenalan konsep dasar IoT, penjelasan teknis Arduino Uno, dan praktik langsung dalam merakit serta memprogram saklar otomatis. Pelaksanaan pelatihan melibatkan sesi teori dan praktik., Siswa menunjukkan ketertarikan yang tinggi untuk mengembangkan aplikasi IoT lainnya. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar keterampilan yang berharga bagi siswa dalam menghadapi era digital. Dengan demikian, pengenalan dan pelatihan dasar IoT ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesiapan siswa SMK Swadhipa 2 Natar untuk bersaing di dunia kerja berbasis teknologi. Abstract

Abstract — The modification stove was designed and constructed for drying cocoa beans using biomassa as fuel. The purpose of the modification stove is to increase production of 0.6 tonnes dry cocoa beans. The thermal efficiency of the stove is determined and compared with a conventional stove using hevea brasiliensis woods as fuel. The inside wall of stove and oven were built from SK34 fire brick and ceramic paper, respectively. The outer walls were made from red brick and was coated by cement. The results show that the thermal efficiency of the modification stove is increased by 37.34% compared with the conventional stove. The fuel consumption decreases by 25 % (25 kg-product), resulting a fuel cost saving of Rp. 1.8 million/year. In addition, the total cost of the stove can be paid back in a period of 3.5 years with the service lifetime of the stove for 10 years. The moisture contents ratio of cocoa beans with drying time are obtained to predict values of diffusivity (De) over range of drying temperature 50-80 °C. the values of diffusivity obtained ranged from 62.03 × 10−10 sampai 4.55 × 10−10 m2/s for the temperature used. Abstract

Abstract — Problems activities: 1) How to improve understanding of the rights and obligations of landowners in the hamlet Simbaringin, Sidosari Village, District Natar, South Lampung regency,?; 2) How to improve the skills of the owner of the land in the manufacture and installation of boundary marks? Problem solving is done by communicating the law on the rights and obligations of land owners, especially concerning land boundary markers and installation process. Solution methods: lectures, discussions and demonstrations. The evaluation results increased knowledge and understanding, before the activities of the mean value of 55.25, and after the activities of the mean value of 73.75. Aspects of attitude before the event no one can prepare for the installation of boundary marks, after the intervention there were 22 (55%) of people who can. The results of the activities that: there is an increased ability knowledge and understanding of the law, and be able to change the attitude from which you can not, be able to prepare. Suggested activity is continued, so that increased knowledge and understanding of the land law, to reduce land disputes. Keywords — demonstration, dissemination, land boundary markers

Abstract

Abstract — Pinang Jaya is one of urban village area in Bandar Lampung which is potential for aquaculture development. Community development throught catfish culture based biofloc tecnology in this urban village has been done for 6 month from july-desember 2016. This activity aimed to improve the community skill especially catfish culture based biofloc tecnology. Methods used in this activity was training and empowering. The community was trained about cycle pond contruction and fish culture based biofloc tecnology tecnique. The community participated was 20 people. Supporting scheme in this program was four cycle pond size diameter 2 m, including fish larvae (seed), feed and house of cultured. There were two principal approacheshas been done to empower the catfish culture based biofloc tecnology which were technical ana participate approach. Based on the training and empowering results, this activity managed to improve knowledge of fish culture in Pinang Jaya from 24% to 90%. Fish farm had ability to culture the catfish based biofloc technology. Keywords — biofloc, catfish, training, community empowerment.

Abstract

Abstract — Coral reefs are coastal marine biota biodiversity. Ketapang beach is one of the tourism destinations in the province of Lampung, therefore there are many activities that can be identified damage to the coral reef at the beach area, so that the necessary steps anticipatory one of them is to transplant corals. The purpose of this service activities 1) Knowing the causes of coral reef degradation in Ketapang Beach, 2) Implement saving coral reefs on the coast of Ketapang, Ketapang District of Pesawaran District. The method is performed in the context of community service are 1) Extension to the public on the importance of coral reef ecosystems, 2) Doing tranplastasi coral fragmentation method using acropora seed. Event followed by several stakeholders from the public and the government. This activity can be concluded: 1) The activities of Ketapang beach tourism indicate damage to coral reefs in the region, it is necessary for coral reef conservation efforts with transplant method. 2) The activity of saving coral reefs done by: transplants used is the fragmentation method. And to preserve the coral reef ecosystem, program outreach to the community is also an effort to prevent the destruction of coral reefs. Keywords — Coral Reef, Tranplantation, Ketapang Beach.

Abstract

Abstract — Indonesian cocoa production is significantly increasing, but the resulting quality is generally low and varied, especially those produced by smallholders. The low quality because of weak implementation of a cocoa processing technology, in particular the fermentation and drying of cocoa. Cocoa farmers in the village of Sungai Langka, Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran District, Lampung Province generally cultivate cocoa without fermentation process, they find it more practical and easier to peel their crops without fermentation. Cocoa beans stripping results directly in the sun on a concrete floor or paved with plastic tarps for a day or half a day later sold to traders. In fact, there are farmers who peeling cocoa in the morning and during the day has been sold to collectors. Likewise in traders, cocoa which has been purchased with a degree of dryness varies directly collected and dried again on a drying floor or plastic sheeting. When demand is high or the rainy season, new traders use a dryer. One of the traders in the village of Sungai Langka, Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran District is Mr. Arkan, where the technology used dryer Mr. Arkan is still very simple. Dryer used is the type of tub with a capacity of about 100 kg of cocoa beans per process with firewood fuel. The drying process directly, smoke and hot combustion products mixed into one and the cocoa beans are dried so that the cocoa beans drying results smelled of smoke. Both of the above conditions (absence of fermentation and drying process unfavorable) results in a lower quality of cocoa which is in turn the price is relatively low. Therefore, there needs to be a cocoa processing technology applications at the farm level fermentation and drying technologies, in particular at the level of the collector to be able to produce high quality cocoa in a sustainable manner. Therefore Proposer team intends to apply the method of fermentation of good and apply the hybrid type dryers on farmer groups and traders of cocoa in Village of Sungai Langka, Gedong Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran District. Drier hybrid that will be applied to biomass-fired, gas or electricity in addition to its main source of sunlight, so the cocoa drying with a dryer hybrid type can be done throughout the season and the quality is good. Abstract

Abstract — The community forest managed by the community as tools and materials to increase revenues private forest owners sustainably. This will be achieved if the community forests have a prime forest health condition. Understanding of private forest farmers Tanjung Kerta Kedondong District Subdistrict Pesawara about the importance of forest health of the people is still very low. Many of the damage that can affect forest health conditions. However the farmers never do monitoring or supervision of forest health conditions in regullary. Private forest farmers plant crops follow market trends but does not perform proper management. The socialization of the importance of public attention to the health condition of the forest provides a more in-depth for private forest farmers that managed forests are able to provide optimum benefits to the community. Through community outreach already understand the importance of forest health of the people, as seen from the percentage increase participants' knowledge of the pre-test and post-test is 48.61%. Abstract

Cassava have high potency so could increase diversification product from cassava. One of the products is cassava rice (imitation rice). Cassava rice industry have problem about the technology. Produce process still apply conventional technology although cassava rice has been commercial product. Aggregation process is important because influent quality and performance of cassava rice. This program are (1) to applied cassava rice aggregator machine to produce cassava rise, (2) give knowledge about food processing, and (3) to applied packaging. The program was conducted very well, aggregator was applied and accepted partner. The aggregator could operate very well and appropriate with requirement industry partner. After this program, partner knowledge increase 45.2%. Partner hope this program could be continued with applied food processing technology from University of Lampung.

Abstract

Abstrak Pisang banyak melimpah di daerah Suka Jawa, Kecamatan Bumi Ratu Nuban Lampung Tengah. Produksi yang melimpah memberikan inspirasi bagi sebagian masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu Aisyiah yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) Aisyiah untuk memanfaatkan pisang menjadi produk olahan berupa Sale pisang. Hal yang menjadi permasalahan pada KUB Aisyah di Bumi Ratu Nuban adalah sale pisang yang dihasilkan masih kurang bagus mutunya, karena memiliki tekstur yang keras, rasa yang kurang enak, dan bentuk yang tidak menarik. Banyak faktor yang berpengaruh dalam pembuatan sale pisang, antara lain adalah pemilihan bahan baku dan proses pengolahannya. Mutu sale pisang yang dihasilkan oleh KUB tersebut belum baik karena kurangnya pengetahuan anggota dalam produksi sale pisang. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan kepada para kaum ibu anggota UKM tersebut mengenai proses pengolahan sale pisang yang benar sehingga dapat diperoleh sale pisang goreng yang bermutu. Kegiatan pelatihan ini sangat dinanti kelompok sasaran dan mereka antusias untuk mengikuti kegiatan karena selama ini mereka haus akan pembinaan dan pendampingan yang intensif. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai teknologi pengolahan sale pisang dari nilai rata-rata 40 menjadi 80.
