Abstract

This paper describes how to record a moving object and save as new video files (* .avi), then filtering the moving objects (Vehicles) by using a Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) with 2 types of distribution, i.e. Bacground and Foreground distribution. The shape of the foreground distribution is filtered by morphological operations and segmented by using Bit Large Object (BLOB) Segmentation to get the vehicle dimensions. Feature extraction results of these vehicles, will be used as data cluster for vehicles classification by using Fuzzy Cluster Means (FCM). Resulting experiments show good results with 91.3% of accuracy rate.Index Terms—GMM, BLOB, FCM, Classification.

Abstract

Decision Support System is an application that can assist students in determining the direction in senior high school (SMA) based on Multiple Intelligence tests using techniques MADM (Multiple-Attribute Decesion Making) by the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Multiple Intelligence is used to determine the intelligence possessed by the students based on test results. The input of this system is the student academic data, questionnaire specialization, psychologists and test data is Multiple Intelligence.The results of analysis system showed that the most influential factor in determining of the majors based on interest is the interest of students, academic grades, test psychologist and wishes of parents. The recommendations manual majors only based on the value of report cards, grades National Examination and Intelegent Quotient scores. Accuracy in the calculation of the value system based SAW method has an accuracy of 80% according to the student's choice. While the decision by the AHP method has an accuracy of 30% in accordance with the student's choice.Index Terms —Multiple Intelligence, Multi-Attribute Decision Making, Simple Additive Weighting Method and Analytic Hierarchy Process.

Abstract

Abstract—This paper discusses the problem of modeling the computer network bandwidth usage forecasting using averages based-fuzzy time series (FTS) are developed with a combination of Markov chains. This forecasting model development aims to get better forecasting results, especially regarding the accuracy of forecasting. Development of methods is done by inducing Markov chain method with mathematical rules and applied at a particular stage. The development model is applied to forecast traffic data bandwidth usage on a computer network. The results show that the average based FTS forecasting model with the addition of a Markov chain has a value of forecasting accuracy better than average based FTS method, with the percentage increase in average accuracy of 41.590%, if the prediction error calculation using the average difference MSE and amounted to 30.348%, if the forecasting error calculation using the average difference MAPE. With the expected results of this innovation can be applied to the management traffic bandwidth on the network computer.Keywords— Method development, average based FTS, Markov chain, bandwidth usage.

Abstract

This paper describes the application of the Game Content Model (GCM) in Role Playing Games (RPG) for the understanding of the traffic using a quest-driven learning. One key GCM models, namely the Game Object with intelligence component was applied using dynamic pathfinding capabilities of artificial intelligence in non playable character (NPC). Abstract

Power system stability analysis is required to determine the performance of a power system. In this paper an analysis is performed on the interconnection system of Ambon, Haruku, and Saparua islands in Maluku region of Indonesia. The analyses in this research include load-flow analysis, steady-state and transient stability analysis, rotor angle, frequency and voltage stability during fault conditions, both before and after the interconnection. Critical clearing time has been analyzed to determine the system performance after a fault interruption. Results of steady-state stability analysis show a voltage profile improvement of 1.163%. The results also show that after interconnection better condition of rotor angle, frequency and voltage, and faster recovery time are obtained. Critical clearing time after interconnection is 0.58 seconds longer than before the interconnection.Index Terms—Interconnection, voltage profile, load flow, system stability.

Abstract

Production in the restaurant is a continuous production that must be provided with uncertain request based on the consumer demand. Availability of raw materials is preferred to support the production process. In purchasing management it is often difficult to choose the right supplier of raw materials for each process order. The purpose of this research is to implement the method of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) in the Decision Support System (DSS) purchase of raw materials to suppliers. The addition of fuzzy logic in AHP is used to enhance the accuracy of subjectivity in the process of purchasing management assessment for each criteria and alternatives.The analysis includes a comparison with the results of manual calculations based SPK FAHP and accuracy of the final system with expert recommendations for the management of the purchase order process of DSS.The results showed an increase in profit of the accuracy of the selection of suppliers restaurant using FAHP method compared with the manual method. The analysis shows a significant difference when applied to the same material, fixed price of each supplier but different number of purchases, able to provide the difference in price which means lower costs and increase profits purchase.Index Terms — DSS, FAHP, Supplier Management, Order Management, Raw Material, FAHP.

Abstract

Perkembangan game di jaman sekarang sudah sangat pesat, hal ini terlihat dengan menjamurnya game yang memiliki interaktifitas yang baik atau bisa dikatakan memiliki kecerdasan pada konten atau karakter gamenya. Perkembangan tersebut menarik penulis untuk mengembangkan game RPG yang pernah dibuat. Game tersebut masih memiliki kekurangan akan interaktifitas karakter musuh untuk membaca kondisi sekitar. Permasalahan yang lain adalah keputusan tindakan yang diambil oleh karakter musuh masih belum tertangani dengan baik, sehingga karakter musuh dalam mengontrol perilaku masih bergantian dengan pemain (user). Hal tersebut memacu penulis untuk mengembangkan game “Fight For The Spirit” agar dapat membaca strategi dan memastikan keputusan perilaku apa yang akan dikeluarkan. Pada penelitian game ini mengembangkan analisis SWOT sebagai menganalisis strategi musuh, dan Fuzzy sebagai penjawab hasil keputusan sebuah tindakan. Karakter musuh dalam game ini ada 4 jenis yaitu undead, archer, magician, dan boss. Pada karakter tersebut dan karakter pemain memiliki strength (str), defense (def), lucky (luc), intelligent (int), life, dan mana. Status yang dimiliki oleh musuh dan pemain akan analisis dan dihitung oleh Fuzzy-SWOT. Analisis yang dilakukan melalui internal dan eksternal karakter musuh, sehingga nanti didapatkan SWOT skor yang nilai terletak diantara -1 s/d 1. Musuh pemanah (archer) akan menyerang dengan panah dari jarak jauh. Archer memiliki input Fuzzy yaitu rasio nyawa dan jarak, archer akan menyerang bila jarak archer jauh dari pemain. Penerapan analisis SWOT dan Fuzzy dalam permainan ini telah berjalan dengan baik tipe musuh archer memiliki nilai perilaku 62 menunjukkan bahwa peluang karakter musuh untuk menyerang 62% dan 38% siaga.Kata Kunci — Analisis SWOT, Logika Fuzzy, RPG, Game.

Abstract

Mobile District Internet Service Center (MDISC) is a mobile internet service center for secure, fast and low cost internet access in districts area. As one of the a government program, MDISC intended to facilitate areas which had relatively low access to information and internet. MDISC was a new program for the targeted society, therefore the citizens reacted differently towards it. The public accceptance becomes important to be evaluated, since it is considered as one of the succesful implementations factors. The survey was held towards 108 respondents as the MDISC users in six districts of Balangan Regency. This study applied the UTAUT method adapted by Anderson et al. with several modifications. The method was choosen due to the ability to explain the user acceptance of the information technology system from the user side. Data was analysed using SEM with SmartPLS. The result showed that the performance expectancy, the facilitating condition, and the experience influenced the use behaviour significantly. On the other side, the effort expectancy, social influence dan voluntariness of use had insignificant influences.Index Terms—Evaluation, Use Behavior, UTAUT.

Abstract

One common weakness in pattern recognition for face recognition is imperative that accurate input pattern to the pattern identified . This causes the input is often not recognized or not identified so as to be in the input repeatedly . The application of face recognition using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) backpropagation with MATLAB 7.0 is expected to overcome the weakness of pattern recognition systems for face recognition . Histogram -based feature extraction methods used in this study to obtain identification characteristics of the face image and a neural network input data . Face image data using pixel size variations . Trained in facial image pixel size variations 640 x 480 pixels and 600 x 800 pixels with two of distance making on face: average( 2-5m ) , close( < 2m ) . The results obtained from ANN test using 18 images with frontal face : resulting number of units in the hidden layer 6 , the number of input unit 255 , the number of output unit 10 , the maximum epoch 2500, 0001 and learning the target error rate = 0.9 with a percentage of 95 % of face recognitionKeyword - Backpropagation , Face Recognition Feature Extraction , Histogram .

Abstract

The Course programming period give the highest load for academic server (SIAM) of UB. More than 65000 student will access the system concurrently. There for, the load balancing mechanism is required to improve system capacity and prevent the access failure SIAM using SSL mechanism to provide protection for academik data transaction. SSL do the handshaking process to maintain the connectivity of the web browser. In addition, the client and the server will establish a session recording mechanism to keep the identity of a connection to prevent repeat login. This study tried to implement a source-hash scheduling mechanism on the load balancing system. This mechanism subjected to prevent the termination of a session connection which has been formed. The results shows that the source hash scheduling has increased the capacity of the system to handle as many as 9.02594 million requests from 65 087 different IP within 1 day. And provide total data throughput of 169 537 010 395 Bytes (169 GB) in a single day getIndex Terms—Load Balancing, Source Hash Scheduling
