Abstract

Pada umumnya sistem pengukuran pergeseran bekerja berdasarkan prinsip penentuan waktu tempuh gelombang ultrasonik. Waktu tempuh diukur dari saat gelombang terpancar sampai dengan diterima kembali oleh tranduser. Waktu tempuh akan berubah seiring dengan perubahan jarak lintasan gelombangnya. Penentuan waktu tempuh dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya yaitu metode korelasi silang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh waktu tempuh penjalaran gelombang dengan metode korelasi silang. Metode ini memerlukan masukan sinyal yang diperoleh pada tranduser ultrasonik pemancar dan penerima. Kedua sinyal masukan ini dikorelasisilangkan secara langsung pada sistem akuisisi data yang terintegrasi dengan LABVIEW. Pengukuran waktu tempuh dilakukan pada setiap pergeseran posisi objek pemantul gelombang sebesar 0,05mm dari tranduser. Posisi awal objek pemantul setiap pengukuran dibuat bervariasi, yaitu 5cm, 10cm, 15cm dan 20 cm. Hasil percobaan pada setiap posisi pengukuran ini memberikan hubungan linear antara pergeseran dengan waktu tempuh gelombang, masing-masing dengan gradien 3 x 10-6 s/mm dan berturut-turut memberikan nilai R2(1)= 0,989, R2(2)= 0,957, R2(3)= 0,968 and R2(4)= 0,943.Keyword : gelombang ultrasonik, waktu tempuh, korelasi silang, tranduser.

Abstract

Long-term load forecasting is intended to estimate the electrical load on an annual time period. It has an important role in the real control and security functions of an energy management system. This study is focused on designing long-term load forecasting in Palu electrical systems by using mamdani fuzzy logic method. The process of long term load forecasting is done by providings inputs; the number of customers, PDRB, and the power used for residences, businesses and public load at the previous year into the fuzzy logic system so that it is produced an output: the power used for the next year. The shows that mamdani fuzzy logic provide high level accuracy of forecasting and very small value of MSE.Index Terms:- fuzzy logic, MSE value, number of consumers, PDRB, the power used

Abstract

Most of existing adaptive control  schemes are designed to minimize error  between  plant  state  and  goal  state  despite  the  fact  that  executing  actions that are predicted to result in smaller errors only can mislead  to non-goal states. We develop an adaptive control scheme that involves manipulating a controller of  a  general  type  to  improve  its  performance  as  measured  by  an  evaluation function. The developed method is closely related  to a theory of Reinforcement Learning (RL) but imposes a practical assumption made for faster learning. We assume  that  a  value  function  of  RL  can  be  approximated  by  a  function  of Euclidean distance from a goal state and an action executed at the state. And, we propose  to  use  it  for  the  gradient  search  as  an  evaluation  function.  Simulation results provided through application of the proposed scheme to a pole -balancing problem using a linear  state feedback controller and fuzzy controller verify the scheme’s efficacy.

Abstract

Pengukuran jarak dengan menggunakan tranduser ultrasonik termasuk dalam pengukuran non kontak. Metode yang sering digunakan dalam pengukuran jarak menggunakan tranduser ultrasonik adalah metode pulsa-echo dan metode korelasi silang. Metode pulsa-echo adalah metode yang didasarkan pada pengukuran waktu tempuh gelombang ultrasonik. Sedangkan metode korelasi silang didasarkan pada korelasi antara dua gelombang yakni gelombang ultrasonik kirim dan gelombang ultrasonik terima. Penelitian ini melakukan pengukuran jarak menggunakan metode pulsa-echo dan membandingkannya dengan hasil dari metode korelasi silang. Pengambilan data dilakukan setiap pertambahan jarak 0,01  melebihi 1 panjang gelombang ultrasonik. Hasil pengambilan data menunjukkan bahwa metode pulsa-echo memiliki tingkat akurasi dan presisi pengukuran jarak yang cukup baik.

Abstract

Untuk mengidentifikasi suatu jenis logam salah satunya dapat digunakan parameter impedansi akustik. Dalam mencari besar impedansi  akustik dari logam biasanya digunakan metode ultrasonik pulsa echo. Metode pulsa echo adalah metode yang didasarkan pada perhitungan delay time dari gelombang pantul pertama dan kedua pada benda uji. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan keakuratan dalam mencari delay time maka digunakan teknik envelope. Teknik envelope berguna untuk mencari puncak dari pola sinyal pantul. Perangkat lunak LabVIEW digunakan untuk membuat program saat proses perhitungan nilai impedansi akustik. Pengukuran dilakukan pada logam aluminium, kuningan, besi, dan stainless steel. Kombinasi metode pulsa echo dan teknik envelope pada penelitian ini mampu memberikan hasil impedansi akustik yang akurat dengan rata-rata error di bawah  5 %.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pembuatan simulasi aliran fluida disekitar sayap pesawat pendekatan Navier-Stokes. Parameter tekanan dan kecepatan hasil dari simulasi ini telah mewakili perilaku fluida secara umum. Simulasi yang telah dibuat juga didesain untuk   fleksibel mengikuti perangkat perhitungan yang tersedia. Untuk mendapatkan sebuah hasil yang baik, metode pendekatan komputasi yang dipergunakan ialah beda hingga (finite different) dengan persamaan Navier-Stokes. Saat ini diperlukan model komputasi yang dapat dipergunakan untuk menganalisa pergerakan aliran fluida disekitar sayap. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk mempermudah analisa dan mengurangi baik biaya maupun waktu pendesainan pesawat terbang. Baik hasil perhitungan maupun tampilan dari model ini telah memberikan informasi yang cukup banyak sebagai bahan analisa meskipun beberapa kekurangan yang  belum dapat diperbaiki karena keterbatasan perangkat perhitungan.

Abstract

Designs of adaptive fuzzy controllers (AFC) are commonly based on the Lyapunov approach, which requires a known model of the controlled plant. They need to consider a Lyapunov function candidate as an evaluation function to be minimized. In this study these drawbacks were handled by designing a model-free adaptive fuzzy controller (MFAFC) using an approximate evaluation function defined in terms of the current state, the next state, and the control action. MFAFC considers the approximate evaluation function as an evaluative control performance measure similar to the state-action value function in reinforcement learning. The simulation results of applying MFAFC to the inverted pendulum benchmark verified the proposed scheme’s efficacy.

Abstract

The analysis of the feature’s uniqueness of the electroencephalograph (EEG) signal extracted by continuous wavelet transform (CWT) method against the five BCI wheelchair control indicators has been done. The usage of Friedman method as measuring the uniqueness level of EEG signal features as well as their significance is used in this research. The EEG signals from three subjects that sitting on a regular chair were recorded when they were performing mental commands as seem as controlling a wheelchair with five control indicators. The recorded signals are decomposed by CWT. The absolute mean (|µ|) and the deviation standard (σ) of the CWT decomposition results are used as feature. Then, the uniqueness of |µ| and σ features are analyzed using Friedman Method. Based on the experiment results, it is known that the proposed method is able to map features according to their uniqueness level. The experiment result shows that the highest uniqueness value of |µ| feature from three subjects are 400 (“forward – backward” indicators), 437 (“neutral – turn left” indicators), and 597 (“neutral – turn left” indicators) respectively. While the highest uniqueness value of σ feature from each subjects are 380, 419, and 568 respectively in the same indicator pairs as |µ| feature.

Abstract

The need for accurate load forecasts will increase in the future because of the dramatic changes occurring in the electricity consumption. Sugeno fuzzy inference system (FIS) can be used for short-term load forecasting. However, challenges in the electrical load forecasting are the data used the data trend. Therefore, it is difficult to develop appropriate fuzzy rules for Sugeno FIS. This paper proposes Evolution Strategy method to determine appropriate rules for Sugeno FIS that have minimum forecasting error. Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) is used to evaluate the goodness of the forecasting result. The numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed optimized Sugeno FIS for several test-case problems. The optimized Sugeno FIS produce lower RMSE comparable to those achieved by other well-known method in the literature.

Abstract

Production in the restaurant is a continuous production that must be provided with uncertain request based on the consumer demand. Availability of raw materials is preferred to support the production process. In purchasing management it is often difficult to choose the right supplier of raw materials for each process order. The purpose of this research is to implement the method of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) in the Decision Support System (DSS) purchase of raw materials to suppliers. The addition of fuzzy logic in AHP is used to enhance the accuracy of subjectivity in the process of purchasing management assessment for each criteria and alternatives.The analysis includes a comparison with the results of manual calculations based SPK FAHP and accuracy of the final system with expert recommendations for the management of the purchase order process of DSS.The results showed an increase in profit of the accuracy of the selection of suppliers restaurant using FAHP method compared with the manual method. The analysis shows a significant difference when applied to the same material, fixed price of each supplier but different number of purchases, able to provide the difference in price which means lower costs and increase profits purchase.Index Terms — DSS, FAHP, Supplier Management, Order Management, Raw Material, FAHP.
