Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are one of the fastest growing industries in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the effect of Attitude Toward Change on Relative Advantage of SMEs. The sample of this study is entrepreneurs domiciled in East Java who have a role as decision-makers, especially entrepreneurs who make management changes with the adoption of technology, such as changes using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other simple software. Data collection in this study was done by distributing questionnaires online and offline via e-mail, telephone, WhatsApp, and SME exhibitions in Malang and Surabaya. The questionnaire data will be processed using Smart PLS version 4.0 for further analysis. The results of the study show that the existence of Product Class Knowledge is usually achieved because of the feeling of threat from other competitors in the business world, or commonly called Environment Hositility. This research also proves the importance of mediation of attitude towards change in achieving a relative advantage of SME

Abstract

Cryptocurrency investment is a phenomenon that has gained popularity among Indonesian youth. However, the factors that influence their intention to invest in this digital asset class are not well understood. This study aims to identify and evaluate these factors using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method, which can handle uncertainty and ambiguity in decision making. The study applies the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model as the theoretical framework, and considers six factors: social influence, financial literacy, facilitating condition, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and hedonic motivation. The results show that social influence, financial literacy, and facilitating condition are the most important factors, while hedonic motivation is the least important. The study also ranks the sub-criteria within each factor according to their relative importance. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and educators in the field of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Abstract

The application of the Naive Bayes algorithm in an automatic digital archive classification system at a public institution in Bandung City is covered in this study.  The institution's biggest problem is the growing volume of records, which makes it challenging to manage and find archives rapidly.  To automatically categorize digital archives into predefined categories, a system was developed.  The Naive Bayes algorithm, which provides excellent accuracy, simplicity, and efficiency in processing text data, is the technique employed.  Digital documents that have undergone text-preprocessing steps, including tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming, prior to categorization make up the archive data.  This system uses MySQL, PHP, and the Laravel framework.  According to test results, the system can satisfactorily classify archives while facilitating user location by category.  As a result, this system can improve the institution's digital archive management effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the green economy and corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure affect the company's stock returns in one of the sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2021 and 2024. This research is a follow-up to the previous research that examined the impact of Covid 19 on stock returns and trading volume at PT Garuda Indonesia, Tbk. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual reports from 23 transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which were selected through purposive sampling techniques. In this study, a linear regression method of panel data and a data analysis tool in the form of Eviews 9 were used. The free variables are the green economy and CSR while the bound variable is stock returns. Other control variables in this study are company size (Total Assets) and profitability (Return on Equity). The results show that there is partially insufficient statistical evidence to state that the green economy, which is measured as a dummy variable (1 = listing environmental costs, 0 = no), has a significant effect on stock returns, while CSR disclosures have a significant effect on stock returns. In addition, the ROE and Total asset control variables do not significantly affect stock returns. This research is expected to provide information for companies in making policies for the implementation of the green economy and CSR disclosure in relation to stock returns.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Green Accounting, Environmental Performance, Share Ownership, and Eco Control on Corporate Financial Performance, with Corporate Social Responsibility serving as an intervening variable, across companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry Sector from 2020 to 2024. The specific objective is to conduct an in-depth analysis of CSR, particularly in the basic and chemical industries, where effective implementation of Green Accounting and Eco Control can yield significant benefits for various stakeholders. This research employs secondary data, specifically PROPER, Annual Reports, and Sustainability Reports. The employed sampling strategy is purposive, and data analysis is conducted in EViews, with intervening data processed using the Sobel method. The findings of this study indicate that green accounting, environmental performance, and eco control influence CSR, whereas share ownership does not. In the subsequent analysis, green accounting, environmental performance, and eco-control do not affect CFP, whereas share ownership and CFP have a reciprocal effect on CFP. The Sobel test indicates that the CSR variable does not mediate the effects of green accounting, environmental performance, share ownership, and eco-control on Corporate Financial Performance.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of financial ratios, good corporate governance (GCG), and digital advancement on financial distress in Indonesia's banking sector, with inflation as a moderating variable.  This research employs a quantitative methodology and panel-data regression analysis to examine 185 observations from 37 active banks over 2020-2024.  The analytical methods include descriptive statistics and panel-data regression with a fixed-effects model.  The model selection is based on Chow and Hausman tests, which indicate that the fixed-effect model is more appropriate for the data under analysis.  The analysis indicates a strong fit of the regression model, evidenced by an R-squared of 86.85% and statistically significant findings at the 1% level.  The primary findings indicate that the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) positively affects financial stability, whereas the operational cost-to-operational income ratio (BOPO) negatively affects financial stability.  Inflation further intensifies the adverse impacts of non-performing loans (NPL) on financial distress.  This study underscores the significance of operational efficiency and meticulous risk management in sustaining financial stability in the digital age.  The findings underscore the imperative of operational efficiency, judicious credit risk management, and responsiveness to macroeconomic conditions to maintain financial stability in the banking sector in the digital era.  This study offers critical insights for banking sector stakeholders to understand the determinants of financial distress and implement strategic measures to improve bank financial stability amid evolving economic circumstances.
