Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe conjunction and prepositions within the rubric of " editorial " Lampost newspaper and its implications for Indonesian learning in high school. The method that used is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data in this study is the rubric " editorial " Lampost newspaper . Data collection and analysis techniques used are text analysis. Based on the analysis of data found conjunction form there are coordinative conjunction, subordinating conjunction, correlative conjunction, and conjunction  between sentences. The prepositions are a single preposition and combined preposition. Lampost newspapers especially the rubric " editorial " can be used as a source of learning because it has been researched the phrase is used and written in according with standard.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan konjungtor dan preposisi dalam rubrik “tajuk” surat kabar Lampost dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah rubrik “tajuk” surat kabar Lampost. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis teks. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan konjungtor berupa konjungtor koordinatif, konjungtor subordinatif, konjungtor korelatif, dan konjungtor antarkalimat. Kemudian preposisi berupa preposisi tunggal dan preposisi gabungan. Surat kabar Lampost terutama rubrik “tajuk” dapat dijadikan sumber belajar karena setelah diteliti penggunaan dan tulisan di dalam kalimat sudah sesuai dengan ragam baku serta bentuk ketidaktepatan penggunaannya hanya sedikit.Kata kunci: konjungtor, preposisi, sumber belajar.

Abstract

Problem in this research is how each of a short story’s theme depicted in the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret and its feasibility as teaching material of Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia in senior high school. This research aims to describe the themes that exist in the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret and to determine its feasibility as teaching material in senior high school. The research method being used is descriptive method. Source of data used is the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret, totaling 18 titles of short stories, published in 2011, 210 pages thick, and published by Penerbit Buku Kompas. The result of the research showed that deductively themes in the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret can be categorized into 4 types consisting of (a) theme of divine, (b) social theme, (c) physical themes, (d) organic theme. The short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret deserve to be used as the alternative teaching material of Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia in senior high school because it fulfill the criteria of character education, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan  Pendidikan (KTSP), language aspect, psychological aspect, and aspect of cultural background.Key word : theme, feasibility, short story

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the values of education character in Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga novel by Akmal Nasery Basral and the implication toward literature study in senior high school. The aims of this research are to describe the values of education character in Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga novel by Akmal Nasery Basral and the implication toward literature study in senior high school. The result of this research is about the values of education character in Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga novel by Akmal Nasery Basral. The values of education character result can be used as the student material study in literature study in senior high school. The implication of research result toward literature study in senior high school can be about the study scenario design that analyzes values of education character in Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga novel by Akmal Nasery Basral.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga karya Akmal Nasery Basral dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga karya Akmal Nasery Basral dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Hasil penelitian ini berupa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga karya Akmal Nasery Basral. Hasil penelitian nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut, dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Implikasi hasil penelitian terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA dapat berupa rancangan skenario pembelajaran menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Tadarus Cinta Buya Pujangga karya Akmal Nasery Basral.Kata kunci: implikasi, nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, novel.

Abstract

The problem in this research is about the character of Melayu in a novel Cinta Dalam Gelas by Andrea Hirata. The aim of this study is to describe that character and the implications. The method used here is descriptive qualitative. Based on the result of data analysis, five aspects; religion, education, environment, physical characteristics, and culture of Melayu character. Based on the five aspects there are eight characters included into ‘native’ Melayu based on the three criteria such as : having Islam as religion, speaking Melayu, and practicing Melayu customs. There are also thirteen characters included in ‘less’ Melayu as they do not fulfill all the criteria of Melayu character. This novel is appropriate to be an alternative for literature teaching as it meets the criteria of teaching material selection that involves psychological, linguistic, and cultural aspects.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah tokoh Melayu dalam novel Cinta di Dalam Gelas karya Andrea Hirata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tokoh dalam novel dan implikasinya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data berupa novel Cinta di Dalam Gelas karya Andrea Hirata.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan lima aspek seperti agama, pendidikan, lingkungan, ciri fisik,dan budaya tokoh. Berdasarkan lima aspek tersebut terdapat 8 tokoh yang termasuk ke dalam Melayu “asli”, karena tokoh-tokoh tersebut memenuhi 3 indikator tokoh Melayu yaitu beragama Islam, berbahasa Melayu, dan beradat istiadat Melayu. Selain itu terdapat 15 tokoh yang termasuk dalam kategori “kurang Melayu”, karena tidak memenuhi 3 indikator di atas. Novel Cinta di Dalam Gelas layak dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar sastra, karena sesuai dengan kriteria pemilihan bahan ajar meliputi aspek psikologis, bahasa, dan latar belakang budaya.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, implikasi, tokoh melayu.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how the social problem in Projo dand Brojo novel by Arswendo Atmowiloto and the implication in teaching literature in SMA. This research aims to find out social problem countaining in Projo and Brojo novel and to know the implication in learning Indonesian literature in SMA. The method that is used is qualitative descriptive method. Data resource in this research is Projo and Brojo novel by Arswendo Atmowiloto. the analysis of result shows that social problem which is appear in novel that is competition, contrary, and gap. The implication of Projo and Brojo novel in learning literarature in SMA is the novel can be material in SMA. This matter based on the analysis of social problem and also from language aspect, psychology, cultural backgrouns, and school based curriculum.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana problem sosial dalam novel Projo dan Brojo karya Arswendo Atmowiloto dan implikasinya dalam pengajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kandungan problem sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Projo dan Brojo dan untuk mengetahui implikasinya di dalam pembelajaran sastra Indonesia di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Projo dan Brojo karya Arswendfo Atmowiloto. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa problem social yang muncul dalam novel yaitu persaingan, pertentangan, dan kesenjangan. Implikasi novel Projo dan Brojo dalam pembelajaran sastra di SMA adalah novel tersebut dapat dijadikan bahan ajar di SMA. Hal ini berdasarkan analisis kandungan problem sosial serta dari aspek bahasa, psikologi, latar belakang budaya, maupun Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP).Kata kunci: novel, problem, sastra, sosial.

Abstract

This research is conducted to determine modesty which is used by children whose ten years on elementary school. The purpose of this research to describe modesty in a speech act ruled a school age child base and the implication of Indonesian learning. This research used descriptive qualitative design. The data source of this research was a ten years boy who is in elementary school. The data of this research was in modesty of a speech act ruled by the subject. The result show the modesty of a speech act by the child in form of speech, was namely direct speech and indirect speech. Modesty in direct speech immediately was done by five ways, that is a direct command order by linguist, command of request, command of supply, orders conditional, and direct orders with the argument. The modesty indirect command doing by special way which was called mode. There were nine modes which were found in this research, namely declare inability, inform, declare fact, supposition, game, complain, involving the third person, ask, and refusal. The son use context, namely place, time, the third people, events, and the weather. Beside that, the son also used of markers modesty “tolong”, “dek”, and “kita”. This research result can be information for the elementary Indonesian teacher to know development of children language as well as to learn the speech act of the children and modesty of in a speech act that son doing.Key words : modesty, speech act, command, mode, context

Abstract

The problem of this research is how does implementation of character education in the process of learning Indonesian Language and Literature in SMP 1 Gunung Sugih. This research aim is to describe the implementation of character education in the proses of learning Indonesian Language and literature in SMPN 1 Gunung Sugih year 2012/2013. The research was designed by descriptive qualitative, data research retrieval was done by using obsevation and documentation. The result of this research indicates that the teaching plan made by the teacher includes intial activity, main activity, and closing activity. The implementation of character education in SMPN 1 Gunung Sugih is not yet maximum. Furthermore, the result of this research indicate there are eight points of character value in the learning of Indonesian language which are religious, honest, tolerant, discipline, creative, environment care, social care and responsible.Permasalahan dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada proses pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di SMP N 1 Gunung Sugih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada proses pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SMP N 1 Gunung Sugih tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan yang dibuat oleh guru terdiri atas kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di SMP N 1 Gunung Sugih belum maksimal. Kemudian hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat delapan nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yaitu nilai karakter religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kreatif, menjaga lingkungan, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab.Kata kunci: karakter, pembelajaran, pendidikan.

Abstract

The problem at this research is how does the ability of student in XI class of SMA N 1 Banjit in determining the meaning relation. The aim of this research is to describe the ability of student in XI class of SMA N 1 Banjit in choosing the relation of meaning. The method of this research uses desciptive method. This research data is colected through the written tes of instrument which is consisting 50 objective questions that are 30 multiple choice questions, 10 make and match questions and 10 esay questions. The instrument has been tested by realibility as many as 0,962. The result of this research shows that the average value of student ability in choosing the relation meaning is 69 include enough category. The high average value takes in determining hiponym that are 79. While the lowest average values are 60 which include less category.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkat kemampuan menentukan relasi makna pada siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Banjit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan menentukan relasi makna siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Banjit. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes tertulis berisi 50 soal objektif, berupa 30 soal pilihan ganda, 10 soal menjodohkan dan 10 soal isian singkat. Instrumen telah dicobaujikan dengan realiabilitas sebesar 0,962. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa menentukan relasi makna sebesar 69 Dan termasuk kategori cukup. Skor rata-rata tertinggi berada pada apsek menentukan hiponim yakni sebesar 79 termasuk kategori baik. Sedangkan skor rata-rata terendah berada pada aspek menentukan polisemi yakni sebesar 60 termasuk kategori kurang.Kata kunci: kemampuan, menentukan, relasi makna.

Abstract

This research was aimed at describing explanation text writing learning at the first grade of SMPN 1 Tumijajar on Academic Year 2013/2014. This research used descriptive qualitative design. The result showed that the teacher had done the teaching learning activity in three stages, that is planning implementing and assessing. The lesson plan was made by the teacher based on the components of lesson plan of 2013 curiculum. The learning activity was done by the teacher and students that included pre-activity, while activity, and post activity that was related to scientific approach is observing. The assessment was done by the teacher during teaching learning process and it was done through affective, cognitif, and psychomotor assessment.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tumijajar Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Perencanaan pembelajaran dibuat guru berdasarkan komponen RPP pada kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan guru dan siswa yang mencakup kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup yang dikaitkan dengan pendekatan scientific yaitu mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengasosiasi, dan mengomunikasikan. Penilaian pembelajaran dilakukan guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan menilai siswa melalui penilaian sikap, penilaian pengetahuan, dan peniliaian pembelajaran.Kata kunci: menulis, pembelajaran, teks eksplanasi.

Abstract

The problem in this research, is how student’s competence of writing short stories in the second grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat. The aims of this research is to describe the student’s competence to write short stories second grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat in 2012/2013. This research uses descripive method. The population of this research were the second grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat. Data collection was done by using a test. The Conclusion is the competence of students to write short stories in the second grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat in 2012/2013 is fair with the average value of 77.10.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kemampuan menulis resensi cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis resensi cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah kemampuan menulis resensi cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bengkunat Lampung Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 tergolong cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 77,10.Kata kunci: cerpen, kemampuan, menulis.
