Abstract

The quasi experimental research which use non equivalent pretest-posstest control group design was conducted on the 11th grade of IPA5 and IPA6 of SMAN 1 Natar for 2014/2015 academic year. The aim of this research was to describe the effectiveness of Problem Solving learning model to improve classification and inference skills on acid-base topic. The results showed that the mean of n-Gain of classification skill in experiment and control classes were 0.46 and 0.31, respectively, and the mean of n-Gain of inference skill in experiment and control classes were 0.44 and 0.32, respectively. Based on it, statistically the mean of n-Gain on classification and inference skills in experiment and control classes were different signifation. It can be inferred that problem Solving learning model was effective to improve classification and inference skills on acid-base topic.Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent pretest-postest control group design telah dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPA5 dan XI IPA6 SMAN 1 Natar Tahun Akademik 2014/2015. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan menyimpulkan pada materi asam basa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata n-Gain keterampilan mengelompokkan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing sebesar 0,46 dan 0,31, serta rerata n-Gain keterampilan menyimpulkan pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol masing-masing sebesar 0,44 dan 0,32. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, secara statistik rerata n-Gain keterampilan mengelompokkan dan menyimpulkan di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berbeda signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan menyimpulkan.Kata kunci: keterampilan mengelompokkan, keterampilan menyimpulkan, problem solving.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop the student worksheets based on the science process skills on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution topic. This research used research and development method(RD). The student worksheets which was developed had characteristics that suitable with the expected competencies, attractive to students and had qualified didactics, constructions, and technical requirements. Based on expert validation, the percentage of suitability the content was 87.27%, constructions aspect was 97.33%, readability aspect was 84.70% and attractiveness aspects was 84.00%. Expert validation and teacher response in the very high category. Based on teachers response about the suitability, constructions, and readability aspect of the student worksheets, it was in the very high category. Based on students response in readability and attractiveness aspects of the student worksheets, it was also in the very high category. It can be concluded that the student worksheets was proper to be used.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik sesuai dengan kompetensi yang diharapkan, menarik untuk siswa serta telah memenuhi syarat didaktik, konstruksi dan teknik. Berdasarkan validasi ahli, persentase pada aspek kesesuaian isi sebesar 87,27%, aspek konstruksi sebesar 97,33%, aspek keterbacaan sebesar 84,70% dan aspek kemenarikan sebesar 84,00%. Hasil validasi ahli dan tanggapan gurudikategorikan sangat tinggi.Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan guru terhadap aspek kesesuaian isi, konstruksi dan keterbacaan LKS, aspek tersebut dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan siswa terhadap aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan LKS, aspek tersebut juga dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS hasil pengembangan layak digunakan.Kata kunci: larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit, LKS, keterampilan proses sains

Abstract

This research aims to produce student worksheets based science process skills on material factors affecting chemical equilibrium. The research methodused is theResearchand Development. Subject of this research is student worksheets based science process skills. Limited testing judgments of teachers and students' response to student worksheets developed by the student worksheetsbased science process skills on material factors affectingchemical equilibrium. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the ability of giving reason and interpreting a statement on the electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions matery through the application of problem based learning models for student groups of high, intermediate and low. The subjects in this research was students class of  X1 Senior High School 1 Sidomulyo Academic Year 2012/2013. This research used the pre-experimental method with a one-shot case study desaign. Based on the result of data analysis summarized that ability of giving reason in high level group all its were excellent. In intermediate level group the others were good. In the low level group, half  were good and the others were good enough. The ability of interpreting a statement in high level group all its excellent. In intermediate level  group, almost half  were excellent. In the low level group, the others were good enough.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendes­kripsi­­kan kemampuan mem­berikan alasan dan menginterpretasi suatu pernyataan pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit melalui penerapan model problem based learning untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah.  Subyek pe­nelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 SMAN 1 Sidomulyo Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013.  Pe­neli­ti­an ini mengguna­kan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan kemampuan memberikan alasan pada kelompok tinggi selu­ruhnya berkriteria sangat baik.  Kelompok sedang seba­gian besar berkri­teria baik. Kelompok rendah, separuhnya berkriteria baik dan cukup.  Kemampuan menginterpretasi suatu pernyataan pada kelompok tinggi seluruhnya berkriteria sangat baik. Kelompok sedang, hampir separuh berkrite­ria sangat baik, sebagian besar berkriteria baik. Kelompok rendah sebagian besar berkriteria cukup.Kata kunci:  problem based learning, kelompok kognitif, memberikan alasan, menginterpretasi suatu pernyataan.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of problem-based learning pollution of bleach waste to improve critical thinking skills. The method used was quasi experimental by using the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all of students in grade XI IPA one of Senior High School in Bandarlampung. The Samples of this research are XI IPA 2 as experiment class and XI IPA 5 as control class that obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used parametric statistic with t-test. The results showed that the average n-gain in the experiment class included in the high category, and the n-gain in the control class belongs to the medium category and there is a significant difference of postes average value in the control class and experiments. The result showed that implementation of problem-based learning pollution of bleach waste was effective in improving the critical thinking skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis masalah pencemaran limbah pemutih dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only pretest-posttest control group design.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA salah satu SMA di Bandarlampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik parametrik dengan uji t.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata n-gain di kelas eksperimen berkategori tinggi, sedangkan n-gain di kelas kontrol berkategori sedang, serta terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai rata-rata postes di kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah pencemaran limbah pemutih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswaKata kunci:  pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pencemaran limbah pemutih, keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The performance is related to skill, competency behavior, knowledge and motivation. This study about surveying the relationship between professional competency, and motivation that teachers have to the work performances. Using path analysis, the survey results in there is a significant direct effect between professional competency to the work performed e as 28,2% and proved by tscore = 1.924 ttable = 1.686.  There is a significant direct effect between motivation and work performance as 39, 8% and proved by tscore = 2.179 ttable = 1.686. There is a significant direct effect between professional competency to the motivation as 38.7% and proved by tscore = 2.591 ttable = 1.686.  There is a significant indirect effect between professional competency to the work performed through the motivation with the value of path coefficient 0.154 or 15.4% and proved by tscore = 1.063 ttable = 1.687.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of scientific approach to enhance conceptual understanding and scientific attitudes on mixtures separation topic. The method used was quasi experiment by using the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all of seventh grade students in odd semester at SMP N 22 Bandarlampung in the academic year 2016-2017 and it was obtained class VIID and VIIB as the samples by purposive sampling. The effectiveness of scientific approach was determined by enhancement of n-gain value of students conceptual understanding and students scientific attitudes. The results showed that implementation of scientific approach was effective to enhance conceptual understanding and scientific attitudes in the learning of mixtures separation topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pendekatan saintifik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi pemisahan campuran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester ganjil SMP N 22 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016-2017 dan diperoleh kelas VIIB dan VIID sebagai sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Efektivitas pendekatan saintifik ditentukan dari peningkatan n-gain pemahaman konseptual siswa yang diuji secara statistik dengan uji-t dan peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi pemisahan campuran.Kata kunci: pemahaman konseptual, pemisahan campuran, pendekatan saintifik, sikap ilmiah

Abstract

The study which used research and development method has been to develop the colligative properties of electrolyte solution student worksheets based on science process skills. The goal of this research not only it, but also to describe its characteristic and teacher-student responses about the developed students worksheets. The results of expert validation about developed student worksheets were dedared valid with very high category. Teachers responses to suitability of content, construction, readability, and attractiveness aspect of developed student worksheet were categorized in very high. Student also gave responses in very high category to readability and attractiveness aspect of developed student worksheets.Telah dilaksanakan Penelitian menggunakan metode RD untuk mengembangkan LKS sifat koligatif larutan non-elektrolit LKS berdasarkan KPS. Tujuan penelitian ini tidak hanya mengembangkan tetapi juga untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik, respon guru dan siswa tentang LKS yang dikembangkan. Hasil dari validasi ahli menyatakan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan valid dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Respon guru terhadap kesesuaian isi, konstruksi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi. Respon siswa juga memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi pada aspek keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan.Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa , keterampilan proses sains, sifat koligatif larutan non-elektrolit

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of using student’s worksheet based on problem solving to improve student’s communication and collaboration skills. The method used quasi experiment with pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. The sample were taken by clauster random sampling tehnique obtained by class X MIPA 4 as experimental class and X MIPA 6 as control class. The results show that student’s communication and collaboration skills on the experimental class were higher than on the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of student’s worksheet based on problem solving has given large effect to improve student’s communication and collaboration skills. Keywords: student’s worksheet based on problem solving, communication, collaborationPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh LKS berbasis problem solving untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest posttest non equivalent control group design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling diperoleh kelas X MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkaan bahwa LKS berbasis probem solving memberikan pengaruh yang besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa. Kata Kunci : LKS berbasis Problem Solving, komunikasi, kolaborasi

Abstract

The research to describe the effectiveness of scientific approach on acid base topic to increase differentiating skill has been done. The sample in this quasi experiment was taken by using purposive sampling and it was obtained the IPA1 and IPA2 of the 11th grade, from five the IPA of the 11th grade in SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu for 2014/2015 Academic Year. The results showed that n-Gain average of differentiating skill in acid base topic in experiment class and in control class were 0.48 and 0.33, respectively. It showed that scientific approach learning in acid base topic was effective to increase differentiating skill.Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pendekatan ilmiah pada materi asam basa dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membedakan.
