Abstract

The development of ICT has begun to enter various sectors, including the tourism industry. So to increase tourism development with ICT is an effective way why is that because the percentage of internet users has a positive and significant influence on the added value of the tourism sector. Therefore, we will see what Baturraden Adventure Forest (BAF) looks like as ecotourism-based tourism using ICT. Seeing how BAF uses ICT as a tool to promote or market BAF via the internet, we can do a descriptive analysis using The 7C Framework from Rayport and Jaworski. communication, connection, and commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) as a medium of learning communication between students and lecturers at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tadulako University. This research is based on a qualitative descriptive method approach which aims to be used to provide an overview and describe the entire object under study in accordance with the data obtained. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of in-depth interview observations and documentation. The informants in this study were four (6) people. The data analysis technique used is based on the guidelines for the steps of qualitative research data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.Based on the results of research LMS as a medium of learning communication between students and lecturers at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tadulako University. The site offers various features so that it can support learning within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tadulako University. The site is very easy to access anywhere and can even be accessed using a handphone. In addition to the advantages in terms of ease of accessing this web, it can be accessed anywhere, another advantage obtained by students is the advantage from an economic point of view, where the student feels that learning through this site saves more on quota usage compared to learning using other online applications.

Abstract

This study aims to, First; explain the pattern of socio-economic activities of the fishing community, Second; explain the factors that influence socio-economic activities in fishing communities in Ramdomayang Village, Bambalamotu District, Pasangkayu Regency. The data in this study were obtained through observation and interviews with a number of informants who were taken purposively. The results of the study show that the socio-economic activities of the fishing community in Randomayang Village include fishing, farming, all of which are still carried out in traditional ways.This causes the socio-economic welfare of fishermen to not experience significant changes to date. In addition, this village also seems that the tradition of cooperation is still quite strongly embedded in the lives of fishermen as part of the socio-cultural system that they adhere to and practice. All of these things, both fishing and farming activities as well as mutual cooperation activities for various purposes and interests color the economic social activities and social interactions of fishermen. The socio-economic activities of the fishing community in this village are predominantly influenced by the physical environment resources, as well as the socio-cultural system of the local community.

Abstract

This article is based on disinformation about Covid-19 appearing in various topics related to hoax news because the messages conveyed are very exaggerated and sometimes untrue. Hoaxes regarding health need to be combated by increasing literacy during this Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to provide an overview of the circulation of hoax information about health in preventing COVID-19 in digital media and to find out digital literacy in overcoming the infodemic in the new normal era. Using qualitative methods, this study aims to determine the circulation of hokas information about health in preventing Covid-19 in digital media and to determine digital literacy in overcoming the infodemic in the new normal era. The results of the study found four factors that affect digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication planning of the Health Office in the success of the vaccine program in Palu City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study research basis. Using purposive sampling technique to determine the informants in order to obtain twelve (12) people. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the communication planning carried out by the Health Office in the success of the vaccine program in Palu City is: (1) Analyzing the problem by going directly to the community and meeting community leaders, and finding the fact that the public's lack of interest in taking vaccines because of hoax news related to vaccines; (2) Analyzing audiences and formulating communication objectives, by dividing the vaccine program targets through three stages, namely: Phase I: Health Workers; Phase II: State Civil Apparatus (government officials, TNI, and Polres); Phase III: The general public by dividing into several categories, such as people aged between 12-17 years, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities. (3) Media selection and planning for media production, the Health Service cooperates with UPTD Puskesmas, Palu City Public Relations, and other government sectors to convey information using radio, local TV, banners, billboards, websites, Instagram, Facebook as information channels and also socialize. (4) Messages delivered by the Health Service are informative and persuasive, (5) Planning communication monitoring and evaluation by conducting field visits at vaccine sites and evaluating messages on communication media

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find out whether the influence of visual communication design Amir Tamoreka Center (ATC) on the positive image of banggai regency election candidates with the research time carried out for three months. To collect data used questionnaires and observations. The population in this study is the people of North Luwuk District of Banggai Regency with a population of 10167 must be selected which is registered in the KPU data. The sample in the study using the Slovin formula, which is with a number of 99 must be selected according to the research object. Based on the results of research that the influence of visual communication design Amir Tamoreka Center (ATC) on the positive image of banggai regency election candidates is very good with a percentage of respondents' answers of 88.35%.

Abstract

Communication is very crucial in answering and solving various problems. Since the Corona Virus Disease (Covid) epidemic in 2019, various policies have been made by the government to prevent and stop the spread of the virus which is also a global problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the involvement of stakeholders and their role in communicating new normal policies during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in middle Sulawesi. Through qualitative descriptive research methods, the following research results were obtained: first, efforts to implement the new normal policy in middle Sulawesi involved several stakeholders, namely: local government, medical personnel, academics, and various parties including religious and community leaders. There are two communications used are; (1) formal communication through various policies to prevent the transmission of the new normal Covid, and (2) informal communication, with a face-to-face approach that is more humane to the community.

Abstract

State Extraordinary School (SLBN) Sansarino Village, Tojo Una-Una Regencyis a Special School which is devoted to children with special needs to develop knowledge and ways to socialize with others so that they can better understand self-confident. Students with special needs are also students who need special attention because they need guidance and education in living their lives. The need for inclusion, the need for control and the need for affection shown by the teacher to students greatly helps the teacher's teaching and learning process. Interpersonal communication at the SLBN of Sansarino Village, verbally and non-verbally, was carried out well and the teachers also made efforts to increase self-confidence in Children with Special Needs. Such as efforts to present a comfortable and fun teaching and learning process for students, provide motivation to students, increase the competitive spirit among students, not discriminate against weak children, provide training to students to increase self-confidence. Students are able to control their behavior well in daily life, can adapt and interact, have a sense of mutual concern, a sense of social solidarity, tolerance for each other so that there is no sense of being left out. Because they have a sense of mutual need, kinship and respect for one another.

Abstract

This study discusses vaccination, where the government's efforts to protect the health of its citizens from the Covid-19 virus are carried out simultaneously in Indonesia. This study aims to describe and analyze the extent of public knowledge and experience of the Covid-19 vaccination program and the response shown by the community to accept or reject the vaccination. Qualitative research method with the stages of observation and in-depth interviews as well as conducting a literature review related to the research focus. The rhesults showed that the knowledge and experience of the people of Moengko Baru Village about vaccination was still lacking and varied, where more information was obtained from social media, mass media so that they believed in hoax news circulating and would indirectly affect the response to behavior, attitudes and actions in vaccinating. However, some people already have good knowledge of the vaccination and are willing to be vaccinated for health and for immunity against diseases/viruses. The Government of Poso Regency has carried out a socialization program in the community so that the public better understands the importance of vaccination in the formation of herd immunity or group immunity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Instagram as a means of marketing communication for Babakkeroyokan in Palu City. This research method is descriptive qualitative by conducting data collection techniques, conducting observations, structured interviews with three informants who have been selected through purposive sampling technique. The number of informants in this study consisted of three informants, namely the owner and holder of the Instagram, the manager of the Instagram, and the Babakkeroyokan sales team. Data analysis techniques used in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawingconclusions. Features Instagram used by Babakkeroyokan have eleven features, namely Profile and Bio Features, Photo and Video Upload Features, Stories Features Caption Features, Comments Features, Hastags Features, Like Features, Activity Features, DirectMessage (DM) Features, Geotagging (Location Tag) Features, and finally the Story Archive Feature. These features are used by Babakkeroyokan as tools to promote their food products to consumers. Features Instagram used by Babakkeroyokan have their respective benefits and uses in helping Babakkeroyokan to promote their food products to consumers, these features are used well by Babakkeroyokan as a means of information to consumers and have benefits for Babakkeroyokan sales in increasing their sales against the same business competition as them. In the use of these features there are interactions with consumers that make communication occur, of the eleven Instagram used by Babakkeroyokan, there are several features that are used every day to promote their food products and interactions with consumers so that communication is established, namely the Story andfeature Direct Message (DM).
