Abstract

This research aims to find out and explain the quality of service for prosvectipe pilgrims at the ministry of religion in the city of palu. This research is qualitative research. Informants were selected by purposive sampling which consisted collection of employees of the Ministry of Religion in Palu and 8 Hajj Pilgrims. Data collection cwas observation, interview, and documentation. Technique of data analysis was data gathering, data reduction, and data display and verification/drawing conclusion. Thery used was from Parasuraman. The research results show there are two indicators that are adequate and three have not been good. I. the tangible aspect, facilities and infrastructure used in the service of prospective pilgrims are not yet adequate. 2. Reliability, accuracy and suitability of procedures in the service have been assessed both the service shown by the employee is not target and according to the procedure. 3. Responsiveness, the response in service is considered as inadequate in performing service services, the response is slow and there are differences in services shown by employees. 4. Ssurance, guarantees are considered to be good where employees provide guarantees when leaving to the holy land and guarantee the security of prospective pilgrims in the management up to leaving for the holy land. Empathy, caring where employees show a caring attitude towords prospective pilgrims in service so that communication is established.

Abstract

This research is categorised as descriptive quantitative. The results show that (1) Central Sulawesi Province has consumption patterns which are more likely in food consumption. The consumption patterns follow the Law of Engels where a decline in the percentage of food consumption on any increase in revenue. At the same time, the percentage of non-food consumption continues to rise. The largest component of household consumption in Central Sulawesi as follow: (i) housing and household facilities, (ii) various goods and services, (iii) grains, (iv) for foods and drinks, as well as (v) tobacco and betel. (2) According to the World Bank, the inequality of Central Sulawesi Province is categorised as low and moderate with Gini Ratio = 0.39. Therefore, it needs special attention by the government because the number of Gini Ratio is approaching the limit of high inequality. (3) The pattern of consumption in the districts or cities in Central Sulawesi Province can be distinguised as follow; the household spending in several regencies, such as, Banggai Islands, Poso, Donggala, Tolitoli, Buol, Parigi Moutong, Tojo Una-Una and Sigi are more likely to consume food. Meanwhile, the household spending in Palu, Morowali and Banggai Regencies are more likely to consume non-food consumption. However, the three regions have higher level of inequality compare to other areas. It is due to non-food consumption is dominated by high-income households.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the quality of public services in Siwongi Village, Kulawi Subdistrict, Sigi Regency, is more specifically regarding Population Administration services. The basis of the research used is qualitative, while the type of research used is descriptive. The informants used in this study were determined purposively, with a total of 7 (seven) informants. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses the Parasuraman theory where there are 5 (five) dimensions to measure service quality, namely Tangibles, Realiability, Responsiveenes, Asurance, and Empathy. The results of this study indicate that the Quality of Public Services at Siwongi Village office is from dimension (i). tangibles (direct evidence) are in the bad category; (ii). seen from the dimensions of reliability (reliability) are in the less good category; (iii) Responsiveness (responsiveness) is in the good category; (iv) seen from the dimension of insurance (guarantee) in the category of poor (v) seen from the dimension of Empathy in the good category; Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that from the 5 (five) dimensions studied the category is not good, so it needs to be improved, it is expected that the Siwongi Village Government will make continuous improvements to the 5 service dimensions, so that in the future the service will be at Siwongi District Sigi, can satisfy the community.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the performance of state civil apparatus in the Secretariat of Regional People's Representatives of Central Sulawesi Province. The research applied a qualitative method. The research setting was at the Secretariat of Regional People's Representatives of Central Sulawesi Province. The informants were 5 people selected using Purposive Sampling technique. The data were gathered through observation, interview, and documentation. In this case, the researcher used Miles and Huberman analysis approach. The research findings show that the performance of state civil apparatus in the Secretariat of Regional People's Representatives of Central Sulawesi Province with indicators such as 1. Productivity shows that efficiency and effectiveness have not run maximally. 2. Service Quality shows that the satisfaction on the service given has been fulfilled. 3. Responsiveness shows that the ability of the apparatus of Regional People's Representatives of Central Sulawesi Province to recognize the needs of service receiver, arrange agenda and service priority and develop public service programs are suitable with communities needs and aspiration have been run well. 4. Responsibility shows that the programs have already been properly as the right administration principles or adjust to organization policy. 5. Accountability shows that  state civil apparatus in the Secretariat of Regional People's Representatives of Central Sulawesi Province obey to the political officials appointed by the people that marked by the accountability report.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the effect of organizational justice (distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice) toward employee emotion in BPKAD Cental Sulawesi Province. A survey was used to test the model in the context of organizational justice with the help of multistage random sampling. In total, 101 participant which was employee of BPKAD Cental Sulawesi Province completed the questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was performed to test the total effect of organizational justice (distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice) toward employee emotion in BPKAD Cental Sulawesi Province. Results showed that organizational justice (distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice) influence the employee emotion in BPKAD Cental Sulawesi Province simultaneously. Partially, distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice influence employee emotion. Thus, all the hypotheses in this study were supported.

Abstract

The problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between the problem-basic-learning model and direct instruction on student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the problem-basic-learning model of student learning motivation, the relationship between the direct instruction model and the student learning motivation, and the relationship between the problem-basic-learning model and direct instruction towards the students' learning motivation in history subjects in class X MAN 2, Palu city. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is 250 students. Sampling was done by random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used was correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a strong relationship between the problem-basic-learning model of learning motivation with a sig value of 0.002, the relationship between direct instruction models and learning motivation also showed a strong relationship with a sig value of 0.048, while the relationship between problem-basic learning models. -learning and direct instruction on history learning motivation obtained a strong relationship with a value of 0.7484.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and identify: 1) The contribution of the industrial sector to the economy of Pasangkayu Regency. 2) Sectors that are the basic sectors in the economy of Pasangkayu Regency. This type of research is quantitative with contribution analysis and Location Quotient (LQ) analysis techniques. The results of the study that the results of the analysis of the contribution provided by the industrial sector to the formation of the Pasangkayu Regency GRDP in 2013-2018 amounted to 28.74%. LQ analysis shows that the Pasangkayu Regency industrial sector from 2013-2018 became a base sector with an LQ value of 2.67. Distribution of industries focused in Pasangkayu District which is the capital of Pasangkayu Regency and several other districts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of village funds on infrastructure spending, village funds for non-infrastructure spending, and local government spending in the education, health, empowerment of rural communities, capital expenditures, and their impact on poverty in Central Sulawesi. The background of this research is to see the contribution of village funds to poverty reduction according to the mandate of Law Number 6 of 2014. In addition, there is a literature gap regarding the effect of local government spending on education, health, empowerment of rural communities, and capital spending on poverty. There are no effect, a positive effect, and a negative effect.  The data used in this study came from raw data on Village Fund Realization from KPW VI, raw data for K-2 District / City Government Finance and other BPS publications. The time period analyzed was from 2015 to 2019. The unit of analysis used was 12 districts in Central Sulawesi. The findings show that village funds have changed the face of the village. Village funds have produced many infrastructure in the villages throughout 2015 to 2019, but based on the results of panel data regression analysis with the best model, the Random Effect Model (REM) shows that village funds both infrastructure and non-infrastructure spending have not been able to affect poverty levels, as well as local government spending on the education sector and regional government capital expenditures also have no effect on poverty levels. Meanwhile, local government spending in the health sector and the empowerment sector for rural communities has a negative effect on poverty levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social conditions in education and health as well as the economic conditions on the income of the oil palm plantation workers of PT. TamacoGrahaKrida. This research was conducted at PT. Tamaco Graha Krida Desa Ungkaya, Witaponda Subdistrict, Morowali Regency from February to May 2020. This research used descriptive analysis method, the sample of respondents was taken using purposive sampling method and calculated using the Slovin formula as many as 76 respondents of oil palm plantation workers PT. TamacoGrahaKrida. Based on the results of research on 76 employees of PT. TamacoGrahaKrida, it is known that workforce education is categorized as good, because 65.78% of respondents have attended 12 years of compulsory education, which is categorized as secondary or moderate education, and education in children is categorized as good because as many as 18.86% have attended college, whereas in the workforce's health, 1.31% of respondents had a history of comorbidities with chronic gastritis and diabetes and were declared unhealthy, while respondents who did not have a history of comorbidities and only had minor complaints were 98.68% and declared healthy, and in this condition. the average income received by the respondents is Rp. 3,247,368 per month and it is said to be good because it is higher than the Minimum Wage (UMK) of Morowali Regency in 2020 amounting to Rp. 2,768,593 / month.

Abstract

The theoretical basis used is Stephen Robbins (1996: 20) to see the Effect of Employee Performance at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Central Sulawesi Province using four indicators, namely effective thinking in making decisions, communicating thinking results, increasing participation in problem solving, exploring and increasing creativity . This type of research is descriptive which seeks to interpret and interpret data that is pleasing to the facts, using purposive methods, data collection and discussion with a qualitative analysis approach to collecting data and materials through observation and interviews with a total of 5 (five) informants. Based on the results of the interview, it was found that leadership in the influence of employee performance at the Central Sulawesi Provincial Office of Manpower and Transmigration was based on indicators of effective thinking in deciding decisions, communicating thinking results, maximizing participation in problem solving, and exploring and increasing creativity. due to lack of motivation carried out by the Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office to employees.
