Jurnal EDUKASI (Media Kajian Bimbingan Konseling) is a peer-reviewed open-access scholarly journal managed and published by Program Studi Bimbingan Konseling Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The journal publishes various researches and literary reviews in the field of Education science and Educational Counceling providing reviewed scholarly articles that suggest new concepts and best practices for teachers, lecturers, researchers, and education counceling practitioners in various places. This journal was established and initiated by a group of experts in Education Science and Education Counceling in Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry. This journal is published biannually in January and July.

Abstract: The number of students entering tertiary institutions every year always increases. The importance of career decision making that must be done by students while in college must be right. This study aims to determine the relationship between independence and conformity on career decision making for 5th semester students FIP UNNES students in 2019. The design of this study is descriptive correlational. Data were collected using a psychological scale. The sampling technique uses proportioned randem sampling with a significant level of 5%, the total sample used 225 students from a total population of 997 students. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression by showing the results of a significant positive relationship between independence and conformity to career decision making with an ignorance result of 0.000 <0.05 and the value for F arithmetic was 61.216> F table 3.04.

This study aims to identify the relationship between Self Confidence and Discipline Learning Behavior with Learning Independence. This study uses a correlational design. Data were collected using self-confidence scale, learning discipline behavior questionnaire and learning independence scale of 289 students selected by cluster random sampling area technique. Hierarchical regression analysis results showed a positive prediction between self-confidence and learning discipline behavior with learning independence had a significant positive relationship (β = 0.622, Fcount = 181.313, t = 13.465, p = 0.00). This proves that the first hypothesis which reads "There is a significant positive relationship between Confidence with Learning Independence in students in SMKs in the Boja Region" can be accepted. The implications of the findings of this study are discussed in this article.Â

Career guidance focuses on life planning, a process of continuous self-development in helping students with career planning. The counselor has a big enough role in helping to provide an understanding of career planning from an early age. One of the services that can be provided by counselors is classical services, which focus on providing information in a systematic and comprehensive manner. The subjects of this study were determined using a purposive sampling technique using the experimental research method of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The data collection instrument used multiple-choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using the t-test. The results showed that after being given the treatment there was a significant change in the understanding of career planning in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 PalembangÂ

Character is a character (behavior) or character (disposition)Â inherent in a person. In its formation, many character influenced by environmental factors, namely habits in SMAN 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar many students who point to bad characters such as lack of respect for the teacher, indifference, ditching and smoking, this the consequences and lack of supervision of student habits. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the application of group guiding services can influence the formation of student character. This study uses quantitative techniques with an experimental approach using One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The population of this study is 41 students of social sciences class XI and the sample of this study is 5 students who are selected through the purposive side by categorizing students with low character levels. Data was collected through a Likert scale. Instrument analysis includes validity and reliability analysis. Data analysis using SPSS 20 and t-test. The results of this study is indicate a change in the value of student character scale with an average value of 664 post-test, compared with an average score of 574 pre-test. Based on paired sample test analysis, it is known that there are differences before and after the provision of group guidance services to the character of students in SMAN 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar, with data t count> t table (13.059> 2.131) or Sig <0.00 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that group guidance services provided as a treatment for changing student character have a positive effect.

Schools are formal institutions that are specifically formed to provide education for community members. The direction of the formation of this institution is to provide ease of achieving optimal development of students. To achieve optimal self-development in school institutions is realized by the existence of the field of educational services, one of which is the Guidance and Counseling service in schools. Guidance and counseling is a service provided to students to develop their potential optimally. cooperation is needed between guidance and counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, and also school principals in shaping professional counselor performance, namely by providing facilities and infrastructure, in the form of adequate BK space, and also to improve the performance of guidance and counseling teachers, a counselor must have an undergraduate background in educational guidance and counseling.

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah mampu memberikan arahan bagi peserta didik untuk meningkatkan eksplorasi karir.. Selain itu layanan bimbingan dengan Teknik diskusi kelompok ini siswa dapat mengemukakan pendapat dan membicarakan topik-topik penting terkait dengan karir, mengembangkan nilai-nilai, dan mengembangkan langkah-langkah secara bersama untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dibahas dan didiskusikan dalam situasi kelompok.karena menurut peneliti belum adanya cara yang dilakukan oleh konselor untuk mendukung meningkatkan eksplorasi karir disebabkan konselor kesulitan menyiapkan media yang berkait dengan hal tersebut,  Metode yang digunakan yakni melalui studi literatur dan juga dari berbagai sumber yang relevan sekaligus mendukung artikel ini. Pokok-pokok yang akan dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah tentang eksplorasi karir dan layanan bimbingan kelompok Teknik diskusi kelompok.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan proses wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahw pengetahuan konselor tentang etika profesionalisme konselor sudah cukup baik. Namun, dari sisi pengetahuan konselor terhadap konseling dalam setting komunitas masih kurang baik, terlihat dari responden konselor yang kami wawancarai belum pernah melakukan sesi konseling dalam setting komunitas dan tidak banyak mengetahui mengenai konseling pada setting komunitas.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the paradigm shift in the guidance and counseling approach, namely from a traditional, remedial, clinical, and counselor-centered approach to a developmental and preventive-oriented approach. The paradigm is comprehensive guidance and counseling. The purpose of a systemic comprehensive guidance and counseling program is to address the gap between the competency standards of students to be achieved and the abilities possessed by students in schools or in certain areas. One component of comprehensive guidance and counseling is individual planning services. Individual planning services are provided to all students and are intended to guide students in the development and implementation of personal, social, study, and career plans.

This study aims to: analyze teachers' understanding of mental health?, know the ability of teachers to design activities to foster the health of students in dormitories?, know the process of health activities carried out by teachers in fostering mental health?, find out how teachers train mental health coaching? , What are the factors that can support and hinder the implementation of mental health coaching for students in dormitories? What are the efforts made by teachers in overcoming obstacles in carrying out mental health coaching? This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the research subjects of caregivers from 5 Islamic boarding schools in Aceh Besar. Data were collected by observation and interviews. Triangulation was carried out through focus group discussions between researchers and caregivers. The results of the study indicate that conceptually the teacher understands the notion of mental health even though it is not fully defined by the existing definition. This study also revealed that teachers were unable to arrange mental health coaching programs because they did not have similar backgrounds.

Guidance and counseling programs in junior high schools are arranged based on the needs of students/counselees and school needs. Needs assessment is an activity that aims to find out the real conditions of students that will be used as a basis in planning guidance and counseling programs. A good guidance and counseling program at an educational institution is a well-done plan. The research method used is a literature study. Researchers dig up information through the google scholar search page and DOAJ (Directory Open Access Journal) to find traces of past research related to literacy skills. Through this research, it is expected to know the development of research that has been done about the need assessment in the planning of counseling and counseling programs in junior high schools.
