Abstract

Guidance and counseling in Indonesia has been around since the 1970s. Despite all the obstacles in his journey, Guidance and counseling continue to develop. Counselor Profession has taken a role in optimizing the potential of individuals who receive their services. Along with the entry of globalization, the role of the counselor is increasingly central, the problems faced by the counselors are increasingly diverse. Governments through professional organizations have developed a standardized guide to meet the inherent expectations of the Counselor profession. Through this article the author tries to give an overview of the responsibilities that must be met by the counselor in various settings as an effort to maintain and improve the lives of effective counselee.

Abstract

Islamic counselor as a person is a reflection of self-embodied in everyday behavior which harmony with islamic sharia, and for adolescent, a role model or personal modeling is needed. And the problems that become the focus on adolescence is the identity crisis, which is one form of developmental crisis that occurs in a certain age range identity crisis also refers to the dilemma of student problems, in the form of juvenile delinquency or group behavior leading to destructive behavior. By understanding the problem a counselor is deemed able to help adolescents in overcoming the problem and also as a person is one form of reflection of teenagers against their good person or counselor as a role model that is displayed in a personal form such as the ability to be quiet when with others, has the capacity to empathize, and other personal characteristics.

Abstract

Career guidance focuses on life planning, a process of continuous self-development in helping students with career planning. The counselor has a big enough role in helping to provide an understanding of career planning from an early age. One of the services that can be provided by counselors is classical services, which focus on providing information in a systematic and comprehensive manner. The subjects of this study were determined using a purposive sampling technique using the experimental research method of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The data collection instrument used multiple-choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using the t-test. The results showed that after being given the treatment there was a significant change in the understanding of career planning in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Palembang

Abstract

This article focused on discussing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) on the UM-PTKIN (Ujian Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri) Islamic Religious Education Material. It is case prospective students in higher education must be able to think at a higher level (High Order Thinking Skills, HOTS) such as analytical skills, evaluation skills and material creation skills. The method used Prisma Protocl namely identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion (Alias et al., 2018). Therefore, the provision of college entrance examination tests is an important element in selecting prospective students. The results of this study indicate that the items for the UM-PTKIN PAI material are in the HOTS category and low oeder thinking skills (LOTS). The material for Akidah Akhlak became the largest contributor and Al-Quran Hadith as the least contributor to the HOTS category questions. The Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI) is a study program that is in great demand and its graduates are highly anticipated to be able to sow an understanding of Islam to answer various social, political, and religious challenges in Indonesia. This article provides recommendations for UM-PTKIN policy makers to be able to increase the number of compositions of HOTS questions in subsequent selections in order to improve the quality of PAI student input in the following periods. Abstract

The meaning of hijrah is also a trend to show off that it has routine activities that are useful not on the basis of the heart's movement to change, then the meaning of hijrah is also limited to changing clothes that are more closed and more arrogant, of course this has the wrong meaning. Full meaning of something will certainly produce good conclusions, especially on the meaning of hijrah. Having the wrong meaning of hijrah that is not in accordance with Islamic values ​​will certainly make a teenager who does not have a positive self-concept. The research method used was experimental, pretest-posttest control group design, with the mediator variable that will be involved in this study. Involving 14 research subjects who were selected purposively from 114 first year students of BPI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research instrument used was a self-concept scale consisting of 16 items. The results of the analysis using the Regression Test to show that there is a significant relationship and increase between positive self-concept and the meaning of hijrah using a humanistic counseling. The findings of this study also show that the experimental group using a humanistic approach experienced a significant increase in self-concept through the meaning of hijrah. There is a significant relationship between the meaning of hijrah and self-concept.

Abstract

Konselor sebaya merupakan salah satu pihak yang menarik untuk dikaji karena beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih banyak mencari bantuan dari sumber informal seperti teman dan keluarga dibandingkan dengan sumber formal seperti konselor atau guru bimbingan dan konseling. Layanan konselor sebaya akan meningkatkan penggunaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberdayakan siswa sekolah menengah atas atau sederajat agar dapat membentuk komunitas konselor sebaya setelah diberikan dampingan penguasaan keterampilan konseling. Pengabdi menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) dan membagi tahapan pengabdian ini menjadi tiga, yakni 1) tahap persiapan, 2) tahap pelaksanaan, dan 3) tahap akhir. Pengabdi menilai siswa memiliki potensi untuk memberikan bantuan kepada sebayanya. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa siswa sekolah menengah atas atau sederajat telah mampu membentuk komunitas konselor sebaya setelah diberikan dampingan. Komunitas ini perlu dimonitor agar keberlangsungannya dapat terjaga. Sehingga pihak-pihak yang telibat seperti guru, siswa, dan ahli bimbingan dan konseling perlu untuk terus meninjau keberlangsungan komunitas ini.

Abstract

Konselor yang efektif adalah konselor yang memiliki karakteristik keunggulan, yang terdiri dari keunggulan pribadi, pengetahuan, wawasan serta keterampilan nilai-nilai budaya. Konselor yang efektif merupakan panutan bagi remaja dalam membentuk prilaku yang memiliki identitas budaya bangsa dan menjadi permasalahan adalah ketika remaja tidak mengetahui bagaimana sebenarnya identitas budaya yang dia miliki untuk itu krisis identitas  budaya nusantara menjadi permasalahan yang dimiliki oleh remaja. Identitas budaya merupakan ciri khas serta jati diri suatu bangsa dan bagi remaja memahami identitas budaya nusantara adalah hal mendasar yang harus dimiliki agar memahami siapa dirinya sebenarnya dan budaya apa yang dia miliki, upaya tersebut agar remaja dapat memahami serta mencintai budaya sendiri atau menjadi identitas  budaya nusantara yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Abstract

Fenomena bullying menjadi masalah yang hampir terjadi di setiap sekolah, banyak faktor yang menyebabkan seseorang menjadi korban bullying, alasannya karena dianggap lemah, aneh, bodoh dan sebagainya. Intimidasi yang terjadi pada korban bullying di sekolahberdampak buruk bagi dirinya, salah satunya penurunan prestasi akademik karena rendahnya motivasi. Motivasi berprestasi adalah bentuk sikap yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap siswa terutama pada korban bullying, dengan motivasi berprestasi tinggi diharapkan siswa dapat bangkit dari kesulitan dan dapat membuktikan bahwa ia memiliki prestasi yang baik di bidang akademik. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan konselor adalah dengan melakukan konseling dengan menggunakan pendekatan konseling Solution Focused Brief Theraphy dengan menggunakan prinsip klien fokus pada solusi bukanpada masalah. Dengan pelayanan konseling menggunakan pendekatan SFBT, diharapkan siswa mampu meningkatkanmotivasi berprestasi dalam rangka peningkatan kompetensi maupun prestasi akademik.________________________________________________________________ The phenomenon of bullying becomes an almost common problem in public schools, many factors that cause a person to be the victim of bullying, the reason is because they considered weak, weird, stupid and so on. Intimidation that happened to victim bullying in school because bad impact for one of them decrease of academic achievement because of low motivation. Achievement motivation is a form of attitudes that must be owned by every student and especially on the victim of bullying, with high achievement motivation is expected that students will be able to rise from adversity and can prove that he has a good achievement in the academic field. One strategy that counselors can do is to counsel using the counseling approach of Solution Focused Brief Theraphy using the client's principle of focusing on solutions rather than problems. With counseling services using the SFBT approach, students are expected to improve achievement motivation in order to increase competence and academic achievement.
