Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja konselor sekolah dalam  melaksanakan  program bimbingan dan konseling berdasarkan ASCA Nasional.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling yaitu berjumlah 9 orang guru BK di sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program BK berdasarkan panduan ASCA yang telah dilakukan oleh konselor sekolah, dapat diketahui dari hasil penelitian bahwa: SMA Negeri 4 Kota Tasikmalaya dengan perolehan 320 dengan persentasi 72,2% berada pada kategori baik, Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amin Tasikmalaya dengan perolehan 357 dengan persentasi 81,13% berada pada kategori sangat baik, selanjutnya SMA Negeri 7 Kota Tasikmalaya dengan perolehan 395 dengan persentasi 89,77% berada pada kategori sangat baik.  Hasil penelitian ini disarankan untuk dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pihak sekolah sebagai dasar memberikan fasilitas yang mendukung dalam pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada siswa.Selain itu, data ini juga dapat membantu pengawas sekolah untuk mengetahui kinerja konselor sekolah dalam pelayanan program bimbingan dan konseling. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Program BK, ASCA

Abstract

Current studies have consistently found that the excellent performance of counselors and the effectiveness and efficacy of counseling are influenced by counseling alliances that are established between counselor and counselee. For this reason, the existence of a tool accurately measuring the counseling alliance between counselor and counselee-peer rating/observer version is necessary. The purpose of this study is to develop and psychometric exam properties of Counseling Alliance Inventory-Peer Rating/Observer (CAI-PR/O) version based computer-assisted testing. This study used instrument development and standardization procedures—this study’s participants of 61 of pre-service counselors from a Department of Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia. Data were collected using a questionnaire that is CAI-PR/O initial version in the form of a Likert five-level scale. Operationally, data analysis was performed by using Rasch Model version 3.75. The results showed that CAI-PR/O had satisfying psychometric properties, i.e., item measure, item fit order, DIF, person measure, person fit order, variable maps, rating scale, test reliability, person reliability, and item reliability. However, the factor structure still needed to be improved. Further studies are needed to examine the psychometric properties of CAI-PR/O in various socio-demography of participants.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the paradigm shift in the guidance and counseling approach, namely from a traditional, remedial, clinical, and counselor-centered approach to a developmental and preventive-oriented approach. The paradigm is comprehensive guidance and counseling. The purpose of a systemic comprehensive guidance and counseling program is to address the gap between the competency standards of students to be achieved and the abilities possessed by students in schools or in certain areas. One component of comprehensive guidance and counseling is individual planning services. Individual planning services are provided to all students and are intended to guide students in the development and implementation of personal, social, study, and career plans.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling programs in junior high schools are arranged based on the needs of students/counselees and school needs. Needs assessment is an activity that aims to find out the real conditions of students that will be used as a basis in planning guidance and counseling programs. A good guidance and counseling program at an educational institution is a well-done plan. The research method used is a literature study. Researchers dig up information through the google scholar search page and DOAJ (Directory Open Access Journal) to find traces of past research related to literacy skills. Through this research, it is expected to know the development of research that has been done about the need assessment in the planning of counseling and counseling programs in junior high schools.

Abstract

Counseling guidance is really needed in a school that can include data on student biodata information but it involves all important aspects such as grades, discipline, attendance, extracurricular activities, and so forth. Data management in counseling guidance is still manual, so it requires more time and more complicated processes. The use of computer application programs in managing student data can also improve school images. The use of computer application programs makes it easy for teachers to manage student data, especially in the management of counseling guidance. The Counseling Guidance Information System is intended to facilitate the Counseling Guidance teacher in registering students who have consulted. The stored data is expected to be utilized by the school in making conclusions and decisions regarding the problems and developments of students in the future. Regarding student privacy, there is a security system where not all teachers can have access to the system. The basic concept of information service systems (Hutahean, 2014) is a collection consisting of several components which are often referred to as building blocks, namely: a) input blocks, b) output blocks, c) technology blocks, d) model blocks, e ) database blocks, f) control blocks.

Abstract

Schools are formal institutions that are specifically formed to provide education for community members. The direction of the formation of this institution is to provide ease of achieving optimal development of students. To achieve optimal self-development in school institutions is realized by the existence of the field of educational services, one of which is the Guidance and Counseling service in schools. Guidance and counseling is a service provided to students to develop their potential optimally. cooperation is needed between guidance and counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, and also school principals in shaping professional counselor performance, namely by providing facilities and infrastructure, in the form of adequate BK space, and also to improve the performance of guidance and counseling teachers, a counselor must have an undergraduate background in educational guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah mampu memberikan arahan bagi peserta didik untuk meningkatkan eksplorasi karir.. Selain itu layanan bimbingan dengan Teknik diskusi kelompok ini siswa dapat mengemukakan pendapat dan membicarakan topik-topik penting terkait dengan karir, mengembangkan nilai-nilai, dan mengembangkan langkah-langkah secara bersama untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dibahas dan didiskusikan dalam situasi kelompok.karena menurut peneliti belum adanya cara yang dilakukan oleh konselor untuk mendukung meningkatkan eksplorasi karir disebabkan konselor kesulitan menyiapkan media yang berkait dengan hal tersebut,   Metode yang digunakan yakni melalui studi literatur dan juga dari berbagai sumber yang relevan sekaligus mendukung artikel ini. Pokok-pokok yang akan dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah tentang eksplorasi karir dan layanan bimbingan kelompok Teknik diskusi kelompok.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kearifan konselor menurut perspektif calon konselor etnis Jawa. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif jenis survey. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 270 calon konselor etnis Jawa semester enam dari 11 Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yaitu Skala Anteseden Kearifan Konselor yang berbentuk skala lima jenjang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis faktor eksploratoris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat enam faktor yang mempengaruhi kearifan konselor menurut perspektif calon konselor etnis Jawa. Faktor-faktor yang dimaksud dinamakan: (1) kepribadian dan kecerdasan, (2) pengalaman, (3) atribut pribadi, agama, dan spiritual; (4) keterampilan metakognitif (berpikir kritis dan mendalam); (5) konteks fasilitatif; dan (6) kepakaran (profesionalitas). THE FACTORS AFFECTING A COUNSELOR’S WISDOM IN THE PERSPECTIVES OF JAVANESE PRE-SERVICE COUNSELORSAbstractThe purpose of this research is to explore the factors affecting a counselor’s wisdom in the perspectives of Javanese pre-service counselors. The research adopted a descriptive method of survey. The sample included 270 of the sixth semester of Javanese pre-service counselors from 11 Guidance and Counseling Study Program in Indonesia. Data were collected using questionnaire, which is Counselor Wisdom Antecedents Scale, in the form of five-level scale. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. The findings show that there are six factors affecting a counselor’s wisdom in the perspectives of Javanese pre-service counselors. The six factors named: (1) personality and intelligence, (2) experience, (3) personal attributes, religiosity, and spirituality, (4) metacognitive skills (critical and in-depth thinking skills), (5) context-facilitative, and (6) expertise (professionality).

Abstract

Wisdom is one of the fundamental qualities of personality, core competence, and predictors of effective counselor. The wisdom of a pre-service counselor is predicted to develop if the counselor has the opportunity to undergo, ask, reflect, and internalize his/her experiences through supervised counseling practice. The objective of the research is to compare the wisdom resulted by Indonesian pre-service counselors based on the number of supervision during counseling practices. The research used the ex post facto method. The sample of this research consisted of 489 sixth semester pre-service counselors of 11 guidance and counseling department in Indonesia, whereas 307 students only received 3x supervision, and 182 students with 3x supervision. Data were collected using Indonesian Counselor's Wisdom Scale with Cronbach’s Alpha = .92. The t-test results show that there was a significant difference in the average score of wisdom and each dimension: religious, personal, social, emotional, reflective, and ethic of the pre-service counselors based on the number of supervised counseling practice where those with less supervision had better quality of wisdom. This means that the small number of supervised counseling practice experience but with a quality of supervisory working alliance can develop the wisdom of pre-service counselors.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep diri negative anak dari orang tua yang bercerai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan konseling individual dengan pendekatan person centered untuk mengatasi konsep diri pada anak orang tua bercerai. Jenis penelitian iniadalah eksperimen one group design pre test dan post test, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan product moment. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua orang siswa kelas XI SMK Taruna Bhakti Depok. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konsep diri dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan konsep diri terhadap siswa yang diberi layanan konseling individual dengan pendekatan person centered dalam mengatasi konsep diri anak dari orang tua bercerai. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya perubahan kedua subjek setelah pelaksanaan konseling.  Dapat disimpulkan bahwa  konseling individual dengan pendekatan person centered efektif digunakan dalam dalam mengatasi konsep diri anak dari orang tua bercerai.
