Abstract

Conceptualization and theorization of Islamic education has been less attention to aspects of his involvement in the process of social transformation. In addition, Islamic Education also seems to have developed to the maximum language of language of critique and possibility. Literature related to Islamic education from the past until now tend to be dominated by a normative approach, with little practical in many aspects and ignore the discursive historical-empirical level. Until now, even the idea of the concept of Islamic education promoted by thinkers of contemporary Islamic education has not touched the real issues related to humanitarian issues. There is no attempt to draw normative concepts, ideal and abstract, to the empirical-sociological level. When the concept of Islamic education is faced with the problems of empirical-sociological and just wrestle on normative issues, the Islamic education could be stuck in the ideology of positivism that tend to deny the importance of criticism of social reality. Therefore, Islamic education needs to balance-normative aspects of religious and historical.

Abstract

Islamic education Institution, which is an integrated part of National education system, also faces the globalization phenomenon. So it is expected to prepare for it. On the other hand, the basic problem faced by the Islamic education Institution is that the paradigm of Islamic knowledge itself, in which Islamic knowledge and general knowledge are two different things. Originally, Islam does not recognize the split knowledge, all in more applicative ways. For example, the efforts of some Islamic Higher Education Institutions toward Islamic university. The idea of Islamic University introduced by knowledge which is useful for human beings are to be considered important. In this new millennium, the idea of integrating knowledge becomes increasingly popular Islamic scholars in Indonesia is the right choice in facing the globalization era.

Abstract

Method of teaching is an art in education, a teaching staff is no different in principle from a guitarist who beautifully plucked guitar string on stage arts, the teacher is an artist who transfer knowledge to students. Method is considered more significant than the subject matter itself. The communicative teaching was more effective and attracting the students even though the material presented was not so interesting. Instead, the material is quite good, as the methods are less attractive, then the material could not be caught by students. Varied and persuasive methods will be motivating students to learn. Besides the success of classroom teaching and learning process is also determined at the level of teachers as sensitive educators to differed characteristics of diverse learners. Intelligent teacher is able to position himself as an educator as well as a parent of children in the classroom learning.

Abstract

Every lecturer should have a good performance to improve student achievement. One of the factors to improve the lecturers’ performance is achievement motivation. This research was conducted to figure out a positive and significant relationship between achievement motivation with lecturer’s performance. The study was conducted through quantitative approach. The data was collected through questionnaires which were given to 77 respondents of 343 lecturers at IAIN Ar-raniry Banda Aceh. The analysis of the data is Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.574. The correlation number indicates that both characteristic and the strength of the relationship is “medium”. It indicates that the the closeness of the relationship between achievement motivation and lecturer’s performance of IAIN Ar-Raniry is at “medium” level. The number of tcount is 6.077 while the number of ttable = 1,992 at the confidence level 95% sig. 5% 2-tailed and dk = n – 1 = 76. Thus, tcount is 6.077 > ttable is 1.992 show that there is a significant relationship between achievement motivation and performance of IAIN Ar-Raniry lecturer. It means that if the achievement motivation is increased, the motivation performance of IAIN Ar-Raniry lecturer will be increased.

Abstract

The collateral is required to protect Islamic banks from the risk of non-performing financing and other financial lost that might be caused by moral hazard of debtors. There must be a collateral in the form of tabî'iyah contract whether in kafalah or rahn form in order to secure the position of debtors losers action. In fact, Islamic banks have a mandate to manage customer funds with the prudential principle that creditors are able to generate profits that can be shared with creditors. Although the use of rahn and kafalah contract are not well-known in the implementation of musyārakah and muḍārabah contract, using the theory of freedom of contract all the parties can still contract in the main of dictum because the basic principle of contract is permitted in fikih muamalat during the contract or requirement that are made do not contradict with shari'a. The presence of security systems in the theory of musyārakah and muḍārabah doesn’t mean to prohibit using the guarantee, because the use of musyārakah and muḍārabah contract in fikih muamalat is still carried out on the basis of personal trust between the parties. The existence of the guarantee in the contract of muḍārabah and musyārakah are good effort to promote preventive measures using sadd al-zarî'ah pattern so that the funds of creditors which should be protected in according with the concept of maqāsid syarîah should be protected because it is in dharūry level.

Abstract

Desentralization in education is a relatively new discourse in Indonesian national education. The contemporary political issues and indonesian government system, which is still searching for an ideal form of education after the falling down of the post-new order sentralistic government system, contribute to raise of this concept. Decentralization appears to be an alternative solution in managing a national education of Indonesia. It is expected that there will be more room for stakeholders through applying decentralization of education. Ideally, the desentralisation of education is intended as a commitment manifestation of policy makers on education in order to empower stakeholders, it is also to increase the accessibility and relevancy of education. The application of desentralization concept is can not be separated from political and sociological based-factors. This paper analyses the history and foundation of desentralization concept and it also analyses the problems that it causes.

Abstract

This article presents how contemporary Islamic thought which has been tr ying to find a breakthrough in order to improve the quality of life of the Muslims, then collide with a culture that has been attached to the public, the results of a long legacy of their predecessors. This phenomenon which occurred in Indonesia, because the Indonesian archipelago was not found to be the legacy of Islamic thought advances era (570-1250) in various fields of religion, science and technology. In Indonesia, even contemporary Islamic thought that tr ying to get back to the essence of Islam, which is the religion that is always authentic from times to times and in all palces, always in conflict with the culture of the people who have been acute determinism school of thought.

Abstract

This article focuses on Muhammad Abed al-Jabiri and Hasan Hanafi’s thought and their reactive attitude towards Moslem’s backwardness in many fields of life that they plan and design a mega project to address the causes of stagnation in the Moslem’s world. Al-Jabiri tries to reflect the formation of Arab reason as he thought that revival effort of Islam has deviated from its frames as the concequence it could not be able to face the western dominanance. In futher, he developed the basic principle and then he makes the reinterpretation with a format that has relevance to contemporarary values. While Hasan Hanafi tries to focus himself towards the “Tradition and Renewal” construction of Islam by creating a variety of methodologies, one of them is “The Axiom of Hermeunetic” wich applied to historical criticsm, eidetic criticsm and praxis critism. The important point this article is more about the effort of epistemology mapping in Arab world and effort to reinterpretrelligious teaching relevant to contemporary principles.

Abstract

AbstrakPergeseran nilai paradigma pendidikan dewasa ini, berpengaruh pada metode dan strategi yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar, sebab metode merupakan salah satu faktor atau komponen pendidikan yang sangat menentukan berhasil tidaknya suatu proses pembelajaran. Pergeseran nilai paradigma tersebut juga akan mempengaruhi pada fungsi pendidik itu sendiri, yaitu sebagai fasilitator. Tugas pendidik sebagai fasilitator dalam rangka mengoptimalkan proses belajar mengajar yang harus mampu mengembangkan kemauan, motivasi dan kemampuan belajar siswa, selain itu juga mengembangkan kondisi belajar yang relevan agar tercipta suasana belajar dengan penuh kegembiraan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab dua pertanyaan yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam tesis ini yaitu: Apakah penggunaan metode card sort dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bidang studi Al-Qur’an Hadits pada siswa MTsS Darul Huda kota Langsa dan apakah penggunaan metode card sort dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bidang studi Al-Qur’an Hadits pada siswa MTsS Darul Huda Kota Langsa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Sumber data dalam penelitian yang menjadi sample adalah guru dan siswa kelas VIII MTsS Darul Huda Kota Langsa berjumlah kelas VIII A  sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes, Observasi dan Angket. Analisis data dengan data kuantitatif (nilai hasil belajar siswa) yang dapat dianalisis secara diskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adalah Tabel pearson correlations menggambarkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,329 antar nilai post tes dan kelas (eksperimen dan kontrol). Nilai sig. 0,003 < 0,05, maka hubungan kedua variabel signifikan. Dilihat pada hasil kuesioner motivasi belajar siswa (KMBS) dapat dikatakan berhasil yang menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa bidang studi Al-Qur’an Hadits + 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi metode card sort dalam pembelajaran bidang studi Al-Qur’an Hadits dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa pada MTsS Darul Huda Kota Langsa.

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan penetapan wali adalah melindungi kepentingan anak, meliputi kepentingan dirinya sebagai pribadi dan perlindungan atas harta kekayaannya. Tapi dalam beberapa penetapan pengadilan Mahkamah Syar`iyah di Provinsi Aceh, cenderung tidak memberi perhatian yang sungguh-sungguh mengenai perlindungan harta kekayaan anak. Beberapa penetapan pengadilan yang dapat penulis jangkau, hanya sekedar memenuhi permintaan yang diajukan pemohon, yang pada umumnya adalah permintaan untuk ditetapkan sebagai wali, diberi kewenangan untuk mewakili kepentingan anak (dalam melakukan perbuatan hukum) dan melindungi keperluan anak (termasuk melindungi dan mengembangkan harta kekayaannya). Sedang mengenai apakah anak mempunya harta kekayaan ketika akan diletakkan di bawah perwalian, dan apa saja (berapa banyak) harta kekayaan anak yang harus dilindungi oleh wali, tidak disebutsebut di dalam penetapan tersebut.
