Abstract

Handphone atau Ponsel adalah perangkat elektronik telekomunikasi yang mempunyai kemampuan telekomunikasi yang mempunyai kemampuan dasar yang sama dengan telepon konvesional saluran tetap, namun dapat dibawa ke mana-mana dan tidak perlu disambungkan dengan jaringan telepon menggunakan kabel. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang pengaruh radiasi gelombang elektromagnetik ponsel terhadap kesehatan fungsi penglihatan,yaitu bagaimana pengaruh radiasi posel terhadap penurunan daya tahan penglihatan manusia.  Penggunan ponsel dengan layar lebih cerah digunakan siang dan malam, di tempat tidur dan dalam gelap dapat menyebabkan penurunan fungsi penglihatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh radiasi elektromagnetik ponsel terhadap kesehatan fungsi penglihatan mata manusia. Hasil Penelitian dari yang dilakukan pada uji perlakuan dengan mengambil 3r responden yang sering menngunakan ponsel pada berbagai umur yaitu pada 20, 30 dan 40 tahun, menunjukkan terjadinya penurunan daya tahan fungsi penglihatan setelah menggunakan  ponsel. Penggunaan ponsel yaiitu smartphone selama 1-2,5 jam. Peningkatan penurunan fungsi penglihatan adalah dari 0% sampai 76% responden atau 18sampai 26 orang pada berbagai umur. Nilai peningkatan penurunan fungsi penglihatan N-Gain sebesar 69,27 masukdalam kategori “Sedang” yang berarti, penggunan Smartphone selama waktu 1 jam sampai 2,5 jam menimbulkan peningkatan radiasi terhadap daya tahan penglihatan manusia walapun sedikit (sedang). Sebagai kesimpulan akhir menyatakan bahwa radiasi ponsel dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan penglihatan mata manusia

Abstract

SMA Al-Mishbah Banda Aceh merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta dalam proses pembelajaran biologi menggunakan media buku cetak. SMA Al-Mishbah Banda Aceh pada proses pembelajaran biologi belum memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik untuk meningkatkan penguasaan materi sistem ekskresi pada kelas XI SMA Al-Mishbah Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis uji kelayakan media e- handout pada materi sistem ekskresi yang layak untuk siswa kelas XI SMA Al- Mishbah Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rearch and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan Posposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar uji kelayakan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian uji kelayakan media e-handout memperoleh hasil 92% dengan kategori sangat layak, hasil uji kelayakan materi sistem ekskresi memperoleh hasil 82,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, hasil uji kelayakan media e-handout memperoleh rata-rata 87,25% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa uji kelayakan media pembelajaran e-handout pada materi sistem ekskresi layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This qualitative study was conducted to investigate the perception of students on the impact of traveling overseas on their learning attitude. The study participants were eight students from the Department of English Language Education batch 2017 who have been to Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia in 2019. The instrument used in this study was a semi- structured interview guideline. It consisted of tenpre-designed questions. Besides, there were also more questions based on the participants’ answers. The findings showed that traveling overseas makes all participants feel happy. Besides, 3 out of 8 students got new knowledge. Moreover, 3 students stated that it opened their mindset. Traveling overseas also motivated 5 students to learn English more and 6 students to become confident in speaking English. In  addition, through their  conversation with  foreigners, 1 student said that it gives new vocabulary. It was because of their experiences there.

Abstract

Kurang bervariasinya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan saat proses pembelajaran di kelas VIII/F MTsS Darul Ihsan, Siswa menjadi kurang aktif dan jenuh selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Menggunakan pembelajaran make a match menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat aktivitas siswa kelas VIII/F MTsS Darul ihsan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 6 kelas yaitu kelas A, B, C, D, E dan F dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII/F. pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi untuk mengumpulkan datanmengenai aktivitas siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi yang diisi oleh observer dan dianalisis menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan I didapatkan 88,75% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan meningkat pada pertemuan II 96,25% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Abstract

This study investigated previous examination scores as a predictor of secondary school students' tendency to cheat in Chemistry examinations in Lagos State, Nigeria. A correlational survey research design was employed. The study was carried out in secondary schools in Badagry, Lagos State Nigeria. A questionnaire developed by the researchers and validated by experts was used to collect data on students' demographic information, and cheating behaviour. Previous examination scores of the students were collected from the schools’ exams and records unit through the subject teachers. The population of the study was 50,005 Senior Secondary two (SS2) students for 2023/2024 academic session in the eighteen (18) government approved senior secondary schools in Badagry, Lagos State Nigeria. 300 students were selected through stratified random sampling technique. ANOVA and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The null hypotheses were tested at .05 level of significance.  The results showed that previous examination scores have significant predictive power on secondary school students’ tendency to cheat in chemistry and that there is a significant negative correlation between previous examination scores and cheating tendency; students with lower scores were more likely to cheat in chemistry examination. It was recommended among others that educational institutions should provide support for students with low academic achievement, emphasize the importance of academic integrity, and implement effective preventive measures for cheating in exams

Abstract

The study examined availability and accessibility of computer software in teaching of Arabic in Secondary Schools in Kwara State. To examine the accessibility of computer software for teaching Islamic Studies in Senior Secondary Schools in Kwara state. Two research questions and two research hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. This study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The target population was 360 Islamic Studies Teachers in 50 Senior Secondary Schools. The sample was 186 Islamic studies Teachers in Senior Secondary schools purposively selected for the study. The researcher’s self-designed instrument titled “Accessibility and Utilisation of the Computer Software Questionnaire (AUCSQ) was used to collect data from the respondents. The reliability coefficient of the AUCSQ was 0.86. Frequency and Percentage were used to present the demographic information of the respondents and to answer the research questions while the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to test hypotheses. The study revealed a significant correlation between the availability of computer software and the teaching of Islamic Studies in Senior Secondary Schools in Kwara State. The study found a significant negative correlation between the accessibility of computer software and the teaching of Islamic Studies in Senior Secondary Schools in Kwara State. The study found that the lack of access to computer software negatively impacts the teaching of Islamic studies in secondary schools in Kwara State. It recommended that school management should provide adequate computer software for teachers and that Islamic studies teachers should acquire computer skills for easy access to the software.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL) adalah pendekatan pendidikan yang dirancang untuk membantu guru menghubungkan konten pembelajaran dengan konteks dunia nyata. Pendekatan ini sangat penting untuk mengatasi masalah umum dalam memandang pengetahuan hanya sebagai rangkaian fakta yang harus dihafal. Dalam kelas tradisional, di mana guru sering mendominasi proses pembelajaran, siswa cenderung kurang aktif dan kurang kreatif. CTL mengubah dinamika ini dengan mendorong siswa untuk secara aktif terlibat dalam menemukan pengalaman belajar mereka sendiri, dibandingkan dengan mengandalkan hafalan semata. Pendekatan ini menekankan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam mencari dan mengeksplorasi materi pembelajaran, sehingga mendukung pemahaman dan retensi yang lebih mendalam. Selain itu, CTL membantu siswa menerapkan apa yang mereka pelajari ke situasi kehidupan nyata, yang tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman tetapi juga membentuk karakter dan perilaku yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is artificial intelligence with various types of presentation, one of which is Canva. Canva presents various interesting features that can be used to improve teachers' abilities in creating learning tools for students. The aim of this research is to see the effectiveness of use artificial intelligence in the form of Canva in designing teacher learning tools in schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research, with a sample of 10 teachers from various subjects. Data analysis used in this research uses descriptive analysis. The results obtained in this research show that the average teacher skill in designing learning tools before using Canva was 56 and after using Canva it was 87. Meanwhile, the teacher skill assessment in designing learning tools before using Canva was 49.4 and after using Canva it was 81.6. So it can be concluded that Usage Artificial Intelligence In the form of Canva in designing learning tools for teachers in schools, it is very effective to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning, urgency, and function of the education curriculum, especially Islamic religious education. This research uses library research with data analysis using descriptive content analysis. The results show that the curriculum is very important to understand related to its meaning, urgency, and function. In general, the function and urgency of the curriculum in Islamic religious education as a learning plan so that it can run systematically for both educators, students, and schools. The curriculum for students has a function to be directed in the learning process, neatly structured material can make students achieve meaningful and useful learning for their future lives. The function of the curriculum for educators is as a reference in the teaching process. The function of the curriculum for Madrasah/school is to be used as a reference for actions related to learning activities, especially Islamic Religious Education lessons.
