Abstract

AbstractThe learning paradigm in Indonesia continues to experience shifts to improve the quality and relevance of education. To realize the learning paradigm that currently applies, the government as a central institution seeks to perfect the curriculum. The current education curriculum in Indonesia is the 2013 curriculum. Learning in the 2013 curriculum uses a scientific approach to improve student activity and interactivity. Interactive multimedia based on Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) one of the learning media that can increase the activeness and interactivity of students, so that learning becomes more effective and efficient. The drill and practice format on CAI is suitable for subjects that require an understanding of concepts and mastery of skills such as Syariah Banking Accounting. The purpose of this research is to analyze the development process, the feasibility, and the responses of students to interactive multimedia based on the Computer Assister Instruction (CAI) in Syariah Banking Accounting. This type of research is a research and development with the ADDIE development model of Reiser and Mollenda which consists of five stages including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed the average percentage obtained from the validation of material experts by 86,56% with the criteria “very feasible”, evaluation experts by 87,22% with the criteria “very feasible”, media experts by 93,52% with the criteria “very feasible”, and the response of students by 97,21% with the criteria “very good”. The overall results of the validation of the experts and the response of students obtained an average percentage of 91,13% so it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia that was developed is very feasible to use in learning and get a very good response from students.Keywords: interactive multimedia, Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI), Syariah Banking Accounting

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect on entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy of entrepreneurial intentions of the students in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University. This research used a quantitative method using path analysis and Sobel test. A set of questionnaire was utilized in this study as the main data collection. This study involved the students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Jambi University as the subject of the research who took entrepreneurship courses. The sample used in this study was 193 students after being calculated by using the slovin formula. The result of this study indicated that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy had a positive and significant direct effect on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, entrepreneurship education also had an indirect effect on entrepreneurial intentions through self-efficacy.Keywords: Entrepreneurial Intentions, Entrepreneurship Education, Self-Efficacy.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the development process and analyzing the feasibility of the ludo king of accounting game which was developed as an enrichment media in special journal material for trading company class XI Accounting in SMK Negeri 1 Sooko Mojokerto. The development model in this study is the ADDIE model which includes the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. However, the implementation and evaluation stages in the ADDIE development model were not carried out due to certain conditions and time constraints. The test subjects in the research are material experts and media experts. The instrument used for data collection in the form of a study sheet in the form of an open questionnaire and a sheet of validasi in the form of a closed questionnaire. The method used to analyze data from study sheets and validation of material and media was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner based on a Likert scale. The results obtained in the form of the feasibility of the material which shows the average percentage of material validation results of 87,71% with a very decent category and the percentage of results of the media validation of 88% with a very decent category. Thus, the game of ludo king of accounting is declared to be very suitable to be used as enrichment media in special journal material for trading companies of class XI Accounting.Keywords: Enrichment Media, Ludo King of Accounting Game, ADDIE Development Model.

Abstract

AbstractIn this era, the world has developed. Thus, it requires a company to be able to compete and survive in the business. As a consequence, a company must be more effective and efficient in conducting its operational activities in order to ensure the survival of the company. The success of the company's operational activities can’t only be seen from the quality products it produces, but also from the services provided and the work ethic of the Human Resources in the company. And then, this research aimed to analyze how the application of Islamic work ethics to employees of BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha Bandar Lampung and how the application of Islamic work ethics affects the performance of employees of BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha Bandar Lampung. This research used field research with a qualitative approach and descriptive. Data collection used interviews and observations. The results of the research showed that employees of BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha Bandar Lampung had reflected the true work ethic of Muslims by applying the characteristics of Islamic work ethics such as honesty, discipline, creativity, being responsible, happy. Because they served and being independent in order to make BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha a transitioning Financing Bank from conventional to Sharia Financing Bank. The Bank completely applies Sharia working principles as per Islamic teachings. Furthermore, the application of Islamic work ethics had a positive impact on the performance of employees of PT. BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha Bandar Lampung.Keywords: Islamic Work Ethic, Employee Performance.

Abstract

AbstractThe application of the Revised K13 requires learning devices that act as learning resources, one of which is textbooks. In class XI Banking and Microfinance in the banking accounting subject, there are no textbooks in accordance with the applicable curriculum. The purpose of this development research is to develop and create products in the form of textbooks based on the banking accounting scientific approach for class XI students of Banking and Microfinance at SMK Negeri 1 Kalitengah Lamongan based on the 2014 BSNP standards. In this study also tested the validity of the feasibility of textbooks by students expert. The model used in this development research is the 4D model which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this research did not reach the dissemination stage, due to limited time and cost. The results showed the feasibility of presenting material, language, and graphics with a percentage of each component, namely 93.56%, 92.37%, and 98.1%. Therefore, the Banking Accounting textbook is very feasible to use.Key Words: Textbooks, Scientific Approach, Banking Accounting

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out and analyze the role of mediation from the introduction of entrepreneurial opportunities to entrepreneurial education and innovation. This research is  quantitative research with survey method. The research population is students majoring in economic education siliwangi University with the number of respondents taken amounted to 183 respondents using the formula Slovin and purposive sampling techniques. The data has been collected and processed using track analysis techniques. The results of the analysis prove that the variables of entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial opportunities recognition have a significant influence on innovation, as well as the role of entrepreneurial opportunities recognition capable of mediating entrepreneurial education to innovation. This means that entrepreneurial education variables influence innovation mediated by entrepreneurial opportunities recognition. The results of this study provide implications that with entrepreneurial opportunities recognition can help students know their entrepreneurial orientation by being encouraged by the entrepreneurial education obtained in the study so that students can foster innovation in students.Keywords: Entrepreneurship Education, Innovation, Entrepreneurial Opportunities Recognition.

Abstract

AbstractLearning media are all things used in learning activities to convey information during the learning process. This study aims to describe the feasibility of an Android mobile learning application, describe student responses to the Android mobile learning application, and evaluate student learning outcomes towards a mobile learning application with an Android operating system. Research type Research & Development 4D model from Thiagarajan. The research method concerned only three stages, defining, designing, and developing. Material validity instrument was collected from content experts, the media, and the assessment of questions. The research output shows that the development of a mobile learning application with an Android operating system is considered very decent based on average expert validation. Mobile learning applications are considered “very good” at learning because the development that carried out can increase the interest of students in the learning process. According to the findings of the student response study, 97.53per cent of the interest in the product and the disparity in learning outcomes between the experimental group was 94.44 and the control group was 66.66 percent.Keywords: Mobile Learning, Learning Outcomes, Operating System, Android

Abstract

Abstract:Teaching materials are educational resources for transferring knowledge, but the ineffectiveness of teaching materials can be an inhibitors in achieving the learning objectives. The research on development digital pocket books based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) aimed to explain the level of feasibility; analyzed effectiveness through learning outcomes; as well as knowing the practicality of using digital pocket books in the learning process. Type of the research was a R&D (Research and Development) used the ADDIE model by Dick & Carry. The research procedure consisted of five stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 20 students of class XI Science. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques are (1) expert analysis and validation; (2) student questionnaire responses; and (3) gain score calculation. The results showed that the digital pocket book "very feasible" was used by getting a percentage score of eligibility of 83.77% and practicality of 88%, as well as getting a gain score of 0.64 with the criteria of "moderate". Based on these results, PBL-based digital pocket books are declared very feasible and practical to use during the learning process because it can increase the learning outcomes.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Digital Pocket Book, Economic, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine and analyze students' critical thinking skills in learning economics. This research is a quantitative research. The method applied in this research is descriptive by collecting data through a questionnaire containing essay questions that have been adjusted to the indicators of critical thinking. The population in this study were students of SMA KHZ Musthafa Sukamanah Tasikmalaya class XI from the science and social studies department with 90 respondents using the Taro Yamane formula. The data collected is then processed. The results of the analysis prove that the students' critical thinking skills fall into the low category. This means that it needs special attention from the teacher so that students' critical thinking skills are better. The results of this study have an implication that the critical thinking skills of students at SMA KHZ Musthafa Sukamanah Tasikmalaya are still low, as evidenced by the average value of critical thinking skills of 40, so that efforts are needed to overcome these problems.Keywords: 21st century skills, Critical thinking skills, Economics subject.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was based on the relevant previous of various research results that literacy economic usually obtained from learning formal give a positive role of someone behavior and economic phenomena in the fisherman society in Lemukutan Island Village generally only have primary and secondary education. The purpose of this research is to assess the fishing community's economic literacy in Lemukutan Island Village. Methods used is descriptive quantitative data collection of communication and the indirect impact of the survey data. Respondents to this research of the communities in the Lemukutan Village is 1.024.  Sample of this research as much as 258 respondents. Data analysis techniques used that is mean of the economic literacy index. Based on processing the data that has been exercised toward research indicators covering: 1 ) knowledge of the value of goods and scale of the priority in his life budgeting; 2 ), savings and managing money; 3 ) credit management; 4 ) the importance of insurance and protection against a risk; 5 ) investment planning 6 ); the old age pension; and 7) information of products can be expressed that the rate of 54 respondents was 54 percent. That means a literacy level in a stuff literate categories.Keywords: literate, economic, society, fisherman.
