This research employs a field study approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. findings reveal that the empowerment process of the Paradiso Farmer Group consists of four main stages: planning, implementation, institutionalization, and monitoring-evaluation. The planning stage involves recognizing the potential of kopyor coconut, identifying market opportunities, and formulating the group’s vision, mission, and objectives.  Finally, the monitoring and evaluation stage consists of conducting regular monthly meetings to gather feedback, address challenges, and accommodate suggestions for improvement. Abstract

This study explores the challenges posed by modernization to Muslim society by employing a qualitative library research approach. Modernization, driven by the rapid development of science, technology, and globalization, has significantly transformed social, cultural, and religious life. The findings indicate that modernization has led to the erosion of religious identity among youth, weakened the practice of Islamic creed, widened the gap between Islamic traditions and modern societal demands, and created internal conflicts between conservative and progressive groups within the Muslim world. However, the literature also highlights several strategic responses, such as strengthening contextual Islamic education, promoting adaptive religious interpretation, and utilizing digital platforms for religious outreach. The study concludes that maintaining a balanced and constructive engagement with modernization is essential for ensuring that Islamic values remain relevant and influential in shaping ethical and harmonious modern societies.

Abstract

This study evaluates the drug prevention strategies implemented by the Head of Sambinae Subdistrict and identifies key barriers affecting their effectiveness. Using qualitative descriptive method, data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the strategies are effective due to strong collaboration between the subdistrict office, Bhabinkamtibmas, Babinsa, community leaders, religious figures, and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). The integration of Soft Power, Hard Power, and Smart Power approaches enhances the impact of prevention efforts. Optimal resource allocation including facilities, personnel, and funding and effective coordination and further support implementation. However, challenges such as limited human resources, geographical constraints, and low community participation persist. Legal reinforcement through Law No. 35 of 2009 and informal educational programs, such as the Anti-Drug Peer Youth initiative, are crucial in raising awareness. Multisectoral collaboration remains a key factor in the sustainable prevention of drug circulation in the Sambinae Subdistrict.

Abstract

The gender representations conveyed through the language of religious speakers play a significant role in shaping public perceptions of the roles of men and women. This study examines sermons delivered by two popular figures, Ustadz Abdul Somad and Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi, to explore how gender constructions are represented through lexical choices, speech styles, and discourse structures. Using a critical language study approach, the findings reveal that although both speakers convey religious messages with different styles, Ustadz Abdul Somad tends to be normative and direct, while Ustadzah Oki adopts a more narrative and emotional approach, both still reproduce traditional gender patterns. Women are often associated with obedience, domesticity, and gentleness, whereas men are portrayed as leaders, protectors, and holders of authority. These findings demonstrate that the language used in religious sermons not only communicates moral and spiritual messages but also contributes to reinforcing social constructions of gender inequality.

Abstract

Failure to thrive is experienced by a child whose height does not match his age, often called stunting. Stunting is a health problem that will impact the future of a nation because one of the benchmarks of a country that is said to be developed is that the country has a healthy and bright generation. Currently, Indonesia is faced with the problem of the high prevalence of stunting toddlers from 2021 by 24.4% to 2022 to 21.6%, which has only decreased by 2.8%. The decrease has not reached the target of 14% in 2024. This study aims to describe and analyze the efforts of the Lingga Village government to accelerate stunting reduction using qualitative research methods. The research showed that the Lingga Village government's efforts to reduce stunting were through socialization, growth monitoring, development monitoring, sanitation, and clean water.
