Abstract

Pesantren as a unique of Indonesian Islamic  education institution has a dynamic in its development. Although modernization and its implication has been influenced pesantren’s existence, it can survive until noweday. One of factors support pesantren is figure of kiai as a strong leader with his patronage system. This is a relation pattern which has been rooted in pesantren tradition. The system has widely networks and disseminated by kiai not only in the pesantren, but also out of it. Patron-client between santri and kiai legitimize the authority and charisma of kiai. It also make him easy to influence and ask community to participate in buillding pesantren. Last but not least, the community it self have a good awareness and attitude (sami’na wa atha’na) in foolowing and supporting every single of kiai’s policy for advance of pesantren.

Abstract

The research experiment was conducted in SMA 1 Tanah Abang Muara Enim District. This research was aimed at finding out the differences in student learning outcomes of  PAI subject in the control class before and after the treatment, as well as the difference between student learning outcomes in PAI subject in the experimental class (which are taught by using of type Jigsaw cooperative learning models) while in the control class students are not taught by using Jigsaw cooperative learning Model). The research was located at SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Abang. The sampling of this study, was simply taken from students of class IX Science 2 as a control class which consists of 30 students and class class IX science 1 as experiment class which  consists of 35 students based on proportional sampling. The total sample was 65 students. To get the data, the writers conducted experiments on the control and experimental class by giving the test. So the method used was experimental method, test, observation, and documentation. While, the analytical technique used is the formula "T" test for two large samples of one another which doesn’t not have a relationship. The result of the research was that there were significant differences between student learning outcomes in PAI subject experimental class and control class. The details are as follows: In the pre-test, Null hypothesis is accepted where there is no significant difference of 5% tt> to <tt 1% or 2.00> 1.04 <2.65. The post-test scores can be interpreted that the Zero Hypothesis is rejected. It  means that there were significant differences, namely tt 5% <to> tt 1% or 2.00 <9.03> 2.65. Based on the findings of the research ,it can be concluded  that there was a difference between the achievement of students on PAI subjects taught by using Cooperative Learning Jigsaw Model Type and student learning outcomes that were not taught by using Cooperative Learning Jigsaw Model Type.

Abstract

Muhammad is the greatest phenomenon in human history. Signs He enshrined in the presence of the holy scriptures is  as a justification former glory. His presence was expected by every group and interest, although later become a boomerang for them because the treatise was carrying remodel beliefs and traditions handed down from their ancestors. The suffering experiences completed His life’s history  as a candidate of  a prophet. Born with orphan status, grew by profession and lived as a shepherd, had suffering experiences has  formed  the identity of Muhammad to become an intelligent and wise leader. Muhammad's intelligence and wisdom in deciding the issue and genius as well as the accuracy of missionary strategy embedded in the period of Mecca is the contribution of thinking which is priceless.

Abstract

This article is research report on the implementation of Yasiniyah method in learning of reading al-Qur’an. The research use theories of phenomenology–symbolic-interactionism for understanding reality in application of this method. For anlyzing the meaning  of reality, it need the approach of social-psichology with contrast analysis, verification and comparation with another different reality. Yasiniah method, philosophically, is based on pesantren’s classic tradition. The characteristic of Yasiniah method can be seen in its system of implementation, i.e. : 1) recruitment system of new student; 2) system of class management; 3) learning material; 4) strategy implemented; 5) system of evaluation use test or directly oral examination  by facing mustahiq individually, and who can pass the exam will be given the certificate at alumni’s release ceremony in  every end of academic year.

Abstract

The research aims to comprehend the phenomenon of educational politics of madrasah in Indonesia since the begining of independence till 2003, when new National Education Bill released. The research finds as follow: in the Old Order government period, the educational politics of madrasah begin from the effort of relegious department to integrate madrasah as one of national education system. In the New Order government period one of madrasah’s policies is uniformity of curriculum between  madrasah and general school. Every single of educational policy toward madrasah result the implications in  every part  or dimensions of madrasah. The policies have many consequences in management, curriculum, financial and facilties of madrasah.

Abstract

State, politics, and education is a set of unseparated dimensions of human life. Those three aspects have a close relation and sinergyze each others. State is the organization which has legitimation and politics is a tools to reach a goals had been planned. Education is the process to humanize human resources in the country. Education, sometimes, legitimize ruling elite policy. But it sometimes also play important role in guiding the state finding democratic spirit and as a tool to achieve people’s rights.

Abstract

Obedience and compliance of students toward various rules and regulations which are implemented and designed to regulate the behavior of students are called Madrasah discipline, which aims to nurture students' behavior in order not to deviate from those rules and regulations. Besides, Madrasah discipline also aims  to encourage students to behave according to norms, rules and regulations. Behavior of students are formed and influenced by various factors, such as environmental factors, family and Madrasah. Effective supervision toward  the implementation of the educational unit of MAN 2 Palembang will be able to ensure that educational programs implemented in Madrasah can achieve the desired goals. In order to support the learning process, the teacher must have and implement specific strategies so that students can learn effectively. Therefore, an optimal schedule can be obtained and accepted by the students. The condition where students feel tired, sleepy, and  hungry, can cause bored feeling, no concentration and can arise frustration. Consequently, the students often show bad tendency. Resistance is then understood as a response to an initiative change, that is a response of the conversations that shape the reality in which individuals are humans. Conditioning the students to learn actively so that the potential itself (cognitive, affective, and conative) can develop maximally. In addition, it will be trained and the competence will be  formed that is student's competence to do something positively which will eventually form a life skill as a life stock and livelihood.

The issue of education in the Qur'an is not organized in one letter, but there are many letters and to formulate the sense and purpose of education is required ijtihad. One of the concepts of the Qur'an is the concept of educational methods. Abstract

Islamic religious education quality improvement is expected to resolve the multidimensional crisis in our country, especially the moral-ethical aspects, and also be able to contribute in elaborating the meaning of national education that serves to develop skills and build character and civilization of the nation's dignity in the context of the intellectual life of the nation that aims for the development of potential learners in order to become a man of faith, fear of God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens of a democratic and responsible. Developing models of PAI in Schools / Colleges General include: Model dichotomous, Mechanism Model, Model Organism / Systemic, and the Integrative Education Model. Teraebut models needed to overhaul capabilities and political well from policy makers, especially the leaders of the institution itself.
