Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment andcompensation concerning to turnover intention with job satisfaction as an interveningvariable in pt. persada lines pekanbaru, a national shipping company. This researchstart from february until december 2016. The population in this research are allmerchant seaman or ships sailor (ABK) which is all employed by PT. Persada LinesPekanbaru totaling 115 people. Selection of research sample conducted using samplingmethods saturated or census methods, which all members of the population sampled.The analysis tool of research is path analysis (path analysis). The survey resultsrevealed that Organizational Commitment has a significant direct effect on Turn OverIntention, compensation has a direct influence significantly to Turn Over Intention andJob Satisfaction has a direct influence on the turn over of Intention. While indirectlythrough Job Satisfaction, the Organizational Commitment has a significant effect onTurn Over Compensation Intention and indirectly have a significant effect on Turn OverIntention through job satisfaction. It can be concluded that the better OrganizationalCommitment and Compensation, then Turn Over Intention will decrease relevantly

Abstract

This studyaims to determinethe influence ofService Quality andCustomer ValueonCustomerSatisfactionandWordofmouthonPDAMTirtaIndragiriTembilahan. Populationis also thesample which ofPDAM TirtaIndragiriTembilahanas many as200customers. The samplingmethodused isprobability samplingtechnique. StructuralEquation Modeling(SEM) was usedasthe data analysisandprocessingwith Partial Least Square (PLS) 1 software.These resultsindicatethatcustomervaluehas asignificantpositiveeffecton satisfactionand word ofmouth.Servicequalityhassignificant positive effect onsatisfaction, butservice qualityhasapositiveeffectbutnot significant to theword ofthe mouth. In adition besides to thatthesatisfaction ofcausingamplifyingeffecton the quality ofservicesand customer value.The studyrecommends that PDAM Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan to increase positive word of mouth byimproving customer satisfaction, by providing services and customer value that meetscustomer expectations. The improvement of service quality is detected to the quality ofimprovement physical and can be directed to strengther customer value.

Abstract

This research held in Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru in order to analyze eitherdirect or indirect influence of competency and organizational culture towards employees’job performance through work motivation. Research data consists of both primary andsecondary data which was collected by using questioner, documentary and interviews. Byusing census sampling, the respondents consists of 73 permanent employees of PerumJamkrindo Pekanbaru branch. Competency and organizational culture are used asexogeneous variable, while employees’ motivation and job performance used asendogeneous variable. Data analyzed by using descriptive and path analysis which isassisted by SPSS 17 for windows. Result of this study shows that either competency andorganization culture directly effects to job performance. Employees’ motivation itself has apositive and significant effect to job performance. Indirectly, work motivation can enhancethe effect of competency and organization culture to job performance. It is recommendedto enhance employees’ job performance by increasing employees’ competency,strengthening the implementation of organizational culture along with enhancing the workmotivation.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out and analyze the effects of training, work placement, and monitoring toward the employees’ performance at the department of industry and commerce, Riau Province. The research method in this research was quantitative method. Type and data source were primary data obtained from the result of empirical research by distributing the questionnaires to the employees sampled. Data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that (1) trainings do not have effects on the employees’ performance of the department of industry and commerce. Nevertheless, the results of data analysis show a positive value. This indicates that the contribution of training factor towards the employees’ performance was low and unable to improve the performance significantly. This is because when the trainings were given to the employees, some of them did not take the trainings seriously. Therefore, training implementations given to the employees were not optimal to affect the employees’ work performance. (2) Work placement has positive and significant effects toward the employees’ performance of the department of industry and commerce, Riau province. The placement of employees based on their areas of expertise surely gives the positive effects towards the employees’ performance. (3) Monitoring has positive and significant effects toward the employees’ performance of the department of industry and commerce, Riau province. Monitoring the employees intensively will help them in doing their work and direct them in maximizing their work result that will result in their work improvement. (4) Training, work placement, and monitoring simultaneously have significant effects toward the employees’ performance of the department of industry and commerce, Riau province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Influence of IntellectualCapital on the Financial Performance, Growth Company, and Market Value onCompany Property and Real Estate listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Thestudy population was companies the Property and Real Estate listed in IndonesiaStock Exchange from 2011 until 2015, samples were selected using methodpurposive sampling and obtained a sample of 27 company. The data analysistechnique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). Results from the study showed thatthe of Intellectual Capital effect on Financial Performance, Growth Company,and Market Value. Financial Performance effect on Market value and IntellectualCapital affect the Market Value via Financial Performance in the companyProperty and Real Estate listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. GrowthCompany does not affect the Market Value and of Intellectual Capital does notaffect the Market Value through Growth Company in Company Property and RealEstate listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The study is conducted on micro industries typical food products of Riau in Pekanbaru Citylisted in Riau Food Association (ASPARI) as the organization that houses the business operatorstypical food products of Riau in Pekanbaru. Purpose of this study is to determine the effect ofknowledge management and market orientation towards innovation and competitive advantage, andalso examine the effect of innovation on competitive advantage in micro industries typical foodproducts of Riau in Pekanbaru.The study population consisted of 108 respondents as micro industries typical food products of Riau,which are micro industries as well as samples of this study. The sampling method used is a censusmethod. Variables used are knowledge management and market orient ation as an independentvariable, as well as innovation and competitive advantage as the dependent variable. The analysis toolis Lisrel 8.80.Statistical tests results indicate that knowledge management had a positive but insignificant effect onthe innovation and competitive advantage, while market orientation had a positive and significant effecton the innovation and positive but insignificant effect on the competitive advantage. The researchresults also indicate that innovation had a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantagemicro industries typical food products of Riau in Pekanbaru city..

Abstract

This research is aims to know and analyze the influence amongs of workcondition (X1), work motivation (X2), work discipline (X3) as independentvariables either partially or simultaneously toward employee’s work performance(Y) as dependent variable at The Regional Office of Directorate General of StateAsset Management in Riau, Sumatera Barat, and Kepulauan Riau during 2017.Methode of research used is questionnaire with population as 55employees on The Regional Office of Directorate General of State AssetManagement in Riau, Sumatera Barat, and Kepulauan Riau and it has beenselected all as the population. The variables measurement uses Likert ScaleTechnique with weighting scale from 1 to 5. To find out the correlation amongvariables X1, X2, X3 towards Y uses statistical technique of correlation anaysis,simple linear regression and multiple linear regression, and to test thesignificance rate uses F test and t test processed with Statistical Product andService Solution (SPSS).The result of research concludes that there is a significant influence fromeach independent variables toward the dependent variable. From the threeindependent variables, the highest percentage is the work condition (X1) towardsthe variable of employee’s work performance (Y) as 43,7% as compared with thetwo other independent variables. Then it is recommended to The Regional Officeof Directorate General of State Asset Management in Riau, Sumatera Barat, andKepulauan Riau to pay attention for the work condition by giving completed workcondition and make it better ahead, because work condition significantlyinfluences toward the employee’s work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of supervision,discipline and physical work environment affect the safety and health of employees atPT. Bumi Mulia Perkasa Dumai. Population in this research is 326 employees at PT.Bumi Mulia Perkasa Dumai. While the number of samples at PT. Bumi Mulia PerkasaDumai is 77 people. The instrument used for data collection is by the Ordinal scalemodel questionnaire. To test the hypothesis used descriptive analysis and multiplelinear regression analysis.The results of data analysis show that the Supervision has asignificant and positive influence on Occupational Safety and Health, Displin has asignificant and positive influence on Occupational Health and Safety, Physical WorkEnvironment has a significant and positive influence on Occupational Health and Safetyand Supervision, Work Discipline and the Physical Work Environment together have asignificant and positive influence on Occupational Safety and Health.It is recommended this research to the leaders and agencies in making policiesconcerning supervision, discipline, physical work environment and occupational safetyand health as well as additional reference materials for other researchers who want toanalyze the same problem.

Abstract

This study aims at acknowledging the influence of Compensation andCompetence through Service Quality toward the Cinergy of MotorcycleCompanies Class 150 Cc in Pekanbaru. The target of the study is all dialers ofPT. Astra Honda Motor, PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing and PT.Kawasaki Motor Indonesia located in Pekanbaru Metropolitan. The problem ofthe research is the salary and education qualification of sellers which showpositive value every year, but the companies’ activities decrease from 2014 to2016.The population are all dialer sellers–68 persons. All population and 340costumers become the sample of the research. Every variable is examined inorder to determine the level of direct and indirect influence toward the cinergy ofthe company (the quality of service) by using smart PLS 3.0.The research findings show that compensation and competence of servicequality, partially has positive and significant influence toward the cinergy of thecompany. On the other hand, the compensation and competence show indirectinfluence significantly toward the cinergy of the company through the quality ofservice..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of corporate growth and capitalstructure on profitabiltias. to know the influence of company growth and capital structureto company value on insurence company, to know the influence of profitability tocompany value, to know the influence of profitability mediate growth of company tocompany value at Insurance Company at Indonesia Stock Exchange. And to know theeffect of profitabilty mediate capital structure to company value at Insurance Company atIndonesia Stock Exchange. The sampel of this study are 12 of 14 Population of InsuranseCompany that listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study method is using purposivesampling and Data Analysis is using Path Anaysis. The results of this study indicate thecompanys growth and capital structure have a significant effect on profitability.Corporate growth and capital structure significantly influence the value of insurancecompanies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Profitability significantly affects the value ofinsurance companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Companys growth does affectthe value of the company through the profitability of insurance companies in theIndonesia Stock Exchange. Capital structure does affect the value of the companythrough the profitability of insurance companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
