Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect the net interest margin of the Go public Bank listed on the Indonesia S tock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2008 to 201 1. There are 15 banking companies r ecorded in BEI, which made the study population obtained from the Annual Report of the Bank as determined by Bank Indonesia. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing use t-statistics and f-statistics in level of significance 5%. Based on the statistics t test showed that the capital adequacy ratio, return on assets, loan-to- deposit ratio, operating expenses to operating income and size have a significant effect on the net interest margin. While, non-performing loans and did not significantly affect the net interest margin. In addition, the normality test and include the classical assumption that multicolinearity , heteroscedasticity test and autocorr elation test. During the obser vation period of the study show that the data are normally distributed. Based on the test multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test found no variables that deviate from the classical assumptions, it is shown that the available data are qualified to use the model of multiple linear regression equation. The results together indicate that the variable return on assets, loan-to-deposit ratio, capital adequacy ratio, non- performing loans and operating expenses to operating income and size has a significant influence on the bank’ s net interest margin is going public. Thus the bank is expected to consider the factors that affect the net interest margin that banks more efficient performance.Keywords: CAR, NPL, BOPO, ROA, LDR,Size dan NIM.

Abstract

The research was intended to find out the effect of job responsibilities and training or workshop toward performance and motivation variable as mediating.The data were collected by giving questionaires to 80 nurses by using Slovin that was determined by the cluster sampling method. The research used qualitative and quantitative. The population of the research was 100 nurses of the treatment rooms of Puri Husada RSUD in Tembilahan. There were 80 respondents by using cluster sampling method. model. Analysis model used by path analysis. The research proved that job responsibilities had a positive impact toward motivation but it was not a significant influence, Training or workshop gave a positive and significan impact towar d motivation, job r esponsibilities gave a positive and significant performance, training or workshop gave a positive and significant impact toward performance and motivation gave positive impact toward performance but it was not significant. Meanwhile, the results of the research could not prove that motivation gave mediation between job responsibility and and performance, the influences of training toward performance.Keywords : Job Responsibility , Motivation, T raining, performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to investigate the banking performance in Indonesia before and after the implementation of mergers and acquisitions by assessing 3 years before and 3 years after the merger and acquisition. The population included all the banks doing merger and acquisition from 2000 to 2012 are 15 companies. The sample involved 7 merging and acquiring banks generated from purposive sampling method. The research data were analyzed with Wilcoxon test. The results show that the CAR variable unsignificant difference in performance before and after mergers and acquisitions, in contrast with other variables there are significant differences on NPL, ROA, BOPO and LDR variable before and after mergers and acquisitions.Keywords : merger dan acquisition, bank, CAR,NPL,ROA,BOPO,LDR, Wilcoxon

Abstract

According to Bank Indonesia’s data, loan distribution tends to incr ease from year to year , but they ar e still under expectation which was tar getted to 85%. In the 201 1, the LDR ratio was 78,77%, and it incr eased to 83.58% in 2012. This increase shows that banking intermediary function went to a much better position and more significant in the nations economic development. However , OEOR ratio was still high for it still achieved 70-80%, higher than several South Asia countries who were able to mantain this ratio at only 40-60%. This fact indicates that there is an inefficiency in Indonesia’s banking.Based on such phenomenon, it is necessary to conduct a research about the influencing factors of banking loan channeling, which covers Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loans (NPL), and Operatinal Expense to Operational Ratio (OEOR). This research uses the twenty (20) listed banks at Bursa Efek Indonesia as objects, with 2008 to 2012 data period. Double reggresion technique was used to analyse the panel data. The t test was used to check the significancy of individual independent variable to dependent variable, while the F test was used to examine the influence of the independent variabel simultanously, with significancy 5%. Research came to the result that Return On Assets (ROA), Non Performing Loans (NPL) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) partially have a significant impact to banking loan channeling. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the implementation of the Indonesian Banking Architecture ( API ) that dilakukanh by Bank Indonesia against general banking in Indonesia . This study was conducted to all national banks in Indonesia in the period 2000-2008 , amounting to 48 commercial banks . In order to see the impact of the implementation of the API is measured by a comparison of the financial performance indicators of banking , namely ROA , CAR , ROA , NIM and LDR . In testing hypotheses make use of statistical analysis using the paired difference test using SPSS analysis tools . The results showed that for the variable ROA there is no difference in performance before and after the enforced API which 0.203 t < t table 1.679 . The variable CAR is also no difference before and after the performance of the API which imposed -0913 t < t table 1.679 . V ariable BOPO ther e was no differ ence before and after the performance of the API which imposed -1206 t < t table 1.679 . LDR variables there was no difference before and after the performance of the API which imposed -8194 t < t table from 1697 , while the only ratio that has a performance difference before and after the API is implemented NIM ratio where 2,475 t count > t table 1.679 . Overall it can be concluded that after the imposition of financial performance ratios API banking experience better performance changes seen only on variables NIM but other than that the two ratios , namely ROA and CAR began to show the direction of improvement compared to the other two , namely the ratio of ROA and LDR are not shown direction of improvement at all . This indicates that in terms of efficiency and good governance and true banking does not meet the desired expectations of the spirit of the API .Keywords : API , Banks , Performance ,

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of internal service quality to satisfaction of employees at PT. Bank Riau Kepri The study was a descriptive design as a form of conclusive research . This design is chosen because the study was designed to describe the characteristics or functions of objects and phenomena observed or surveyed, so it can be concluded through a series of statistical tests , including hypothesis testing. The population in this study were all employees of the PTBank Riau Kepri, amounting to 1,751 people. Sampling was done by using porportionally, so that the number of samples in this study were 317 men. To determine the influence of an independent variable on the dependent variable used multiple linear regression analysis model. As for testing the hypothesis using statistical tests . The results showed that (1) the availability of equipment has negative influence but not significant on employee satisfaction, (2) policies and procedures has positive influence but not significant on employee satisfaction, (3) team work has positive influence but not significant on employee satisfaction, (4) management support has positive influence but not significant on employee satisfaction, (5) the alignment of the target significantly has positive influence on employee satisfaction, (6) training has positive influence but not significant on employee satisfaction, (7) communication significantly has positive influence on employee satisfaction, and (8) rewards and recognition significantly has positive influence on employee satisfactionKeywords : Internal Service Quality and Employee Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Competence, Organizational Commitment and Career Development on Employee Performance Bank Rakyat Indonesia Pekanbaru Regional Office. The method of analysis used in this study is descriptive statistical analysis method and inferential statistics through Multiple Regression. The method of research using survey methods, of the number of population of 1101 employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Regional Office Pekanbaru taken a sample of 294 respondents with a stratified random sampling technique. Before testing the hypothesis, test the validity and reliability of the primary data questionnaire using SPSS version 17.0. Regression equations were then tested with analysis of classical assumption of normality test, Multicollinearity Test, Test and Test Heteroskidastity autocorrelation. Analysis of the influence of the independent variables with the dependent variable analysis performed with the t test, F test, the coefficient of determinant (R2) and correlation coefficient (R). The results showed a partial factor of career development does not affect the performance of the employee, but simultantly, competency, commitment and career development have an influence on the performance of the employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Pekanbaru Regional OfficeKeywords: Competence, Commitment, Career Development, Performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the market segmentation of the Customer Credit PT. BPR Mitra Rakyat Riau based on demographics and behavior based on the merits, to analyze the prioritized segments as a target market and to analyze the competitive strategies are most appropriate. The study population was a credit to all customers in December 2013 amounted to 897 customers. The research sample using Taro Yamane formula amounted to 136 customers.Research results (1) Market segmentation based on behavioral formed consisting benefit from quality service and economical consisting of 8 new factors based on the amount of the interest owned by the accuracy and speed of transactions and complaints officer, the officers ability to serve and lighter penalty charge, suitability capability, flexibility and cost of a light installment, the credibility of the BPR and ease of information, billing procedures and office location, suitability and comfort schedule service, speed of loan disbursements and repayments late fee. With the number of customers as many as 71 people, or 52.20%, (2) segment is prioritized as a target market is the segment 2 with a lot of customers by 71 people, or 52.20%, ie factor 1 (Accuracy and speed of transactions and complaints officer), factor 2 (capability officers in serving and lighter penalty charge), factor 3 (Suitability capability, flexibility and cost lightweight installment), factor 4 (BPR credibility and ease of information), factor 7 (Speed Credit Realization) and factor 8 (penalty delay Instalment). Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of motivation, ability and discipline on the performance of employees working at PT Bank Riau Kepri Branch in Batam, either simultaneously or partially.The population in this study is the Employee of PT.Bank Riau Kepri Branch in Batam, amounting to as many as 88 people. Data collection using saturated sampling so that the sample amounted to 88 people. While the data collection techniques used were through interviews and questionnaires. To determine the magnitude of the relationship and the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable used method Regression Analysis Model. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis using a statistical test. The results showed that the statistical calculation results obtained multiple correlation coefficient (R) with a value of 0.582 and the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 33.9% means that the influence of variable motivation, ability and discipline to performance is at 33.9%, and other variables that affect the performance of 66.1% variable. The significance of the influence of motivation, ability and discipline to the performance can be shown from the value of Fcount is greater than Ftable at level α = 5%. The results showed that the F count = 14,338 greater than the F table = 2.71. From the figure then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means the higher the level of motivation, ability and discipline, the higher the employee performance PT.Bank Kepri Riau branch in Batam. Partial test showed that the largest partial determination coefficient value contained in the variable ability by 46.1% to 0,000 sig.ability value, tcount = 4.231 > ttable = 1.633. These results indicate that the capability variable has the most dominant influence on the performance of PT Bank Riau Riau Batam Branch.Key Word : Motivation, Ability, Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of commitment and motivation towards the capability and performance of the exact sciences lecturer at Faculty of University of Riau. As the dependent variable is the performance and capabilities, while the independent variable is the commitment and motivation. The method of analysis used in this study is descriptive statistical analysis method and multiple regression analysis.This study used a survey method, where a population of as many as 544 lecturers Riau University Faculty of exact sciences, taken a sample of 230 respondents with a stratified random sampling technique. Before testing the hypothesis, test the validity and reliability of the primary data questionnaire using SPSS version 17.0. Regression equations were then tested with analysis of classical assumption of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskidastity test and autocorrelation test. Analysis of the influence of the independent variables with the dependent variable analysis performed with the t test, F test, the coefficient determinant (Adjusted R2) and correlation coefficient (R).The results showed partially and simultantly, commitment and motivation factors have an influence on the ability. Variable commitment, motivation and ability to partially and together have an influence on performance. The path analysis demonstrated a commitment to have a dominant influence on the performance that is equal to 48.2%, whereas 16.4% of the motivation and capability factor of 14.4%.Keywords: Commitment, Motivation, Ability, Performance
