Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to (1) reveal the increase in analysis and synthesis of studentsthrough the implementation of cooperative learning approaches with the Problem BasedLearning (PBL) method, (2) find out the learning problems experienced by students andtheir solutions. This research was conducted with the stages similar to classroom actionresearch consisting of: (1) action planning (plan), (2) implementing the action (do) and(3) observation and reflection (see). The subjects of the research in this study were thefourth semester students of History Education Study Program in the academic year2018/2019, as many as 26 students. This research was conducted in February-June2019. The subject taken in this study was A Study of Curriculum and Textbooks. Datacollection techniques were done by interview, observation and literature study.Triangulation was employed to validate the data, namely, (1) source or datatriangulation, (2) method triangulation, and (3) theory triangulation. The data obtainedwere then analyzed using qualitative descriptive through four stages, consisting of; datacollection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification.The results of this study indicated that in the first cycle the average of synthesis analysisthinking ability in the group category was 61.1% in the fair category and 38.9% in thegood category, in the second cycleit increased to 50% in the good category and 50%good enough category. In the individual category 50% are in the fair category, 38.5%in the good category and 11.5% in the poor category, while in the second cycle, it raisedto 53.8% in the good category, 34.6% in the fair category, and 11.5% in the poorcategory. Furthermore, in the cycle III the mean of synthesis analysis thinking ability forthe group category was 94.4% in the good category and 5.6% in the fair category. Inthe individual category 65.4% was in the good category and 34.6% was in the faircategory. Based on these results, it could be concluded that the increase of students’synthesis analysis thinking ability in group was quite good, including for individualabilities. The lack of students’ interest in reading became a major factor in otherresearch findings.Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL), lesson study, analytical and synthesis

This article explain about Planning the Instructional Program for the teachers of elementary School, especially English teacher. The purpose of this program is for giving procedure genre matter with topic on food. The functional grammar focused on discourse analyze, in where every discourse has genre. This discourse can be introduced to the beginner students of foreign language. In this case, English is instructed with appropriate method and model. Abstract

Abstract

Teachers skills in the collection and writing of folklore needs to be improved so that the cultural heritage of ancestors can be preserved. Furthermore, teachers develop learning model with storytelling folklore virtue that can be absorbed by the students. Learning model mythlogos- ethos could explain the mandate contained in folklore. Abstract

This study attempts to improve the creativity and the ability to appreciate drama on the ability of Indonesian courses through drama performances. This research was conducted in FKIP PGSD Studies Program, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Subjects were students of the second semester of grade E as many as 44 students. The procedure of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research instrument used creativity test playwriting and performance tests, while observing the activity of faculty and students using observation sheet. The results showed that the staging of the drama can increase creativity playwriting and drama to appreciate the ability of the student. This is evidenced by the increasing creativity of students of the first cycle with an average score of 9.74 to the criteria are quite creative and the second cycle with an average score of 12.07 with creative criteria. This suggests that an increase in the creativity of students from the first cycle to the second cycle of 2.33. In the aspect of ability to appreciate the drama of an increase of 43.76 from the first cycle to gain an average score of 44.34 to the second cycle with an average score of 88.10. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that by staging the drama can enhance the creativity and the ability to appreciate the drama students of the second semester in the subject's ability Indonesian elementary school. Abstract

Research through the program Assignment Lecturer in the School (PDS) in Class IV Primary School Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (SD UMP) goes well. Learning implemented in class IV Zaid Bin Tsabit Primary School Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. learning strategies applied Learning Strategies to Increase Thinking Ability (SPPKB). There are six stages in SPPKB applied in the present study. Starting with the orientation phase, the tracking stage, the stage of confrontation, the stage of inquiry, accommodation phase and ended the transfer phase. Stages of inquiry is the most important stages. At this stage the students learn to think real. Learners are encouraged to solve problems encountered. Some learners difficulties in the learning process-oriented thinking and invention concept. The issue presented in a matter can not be solved learners. Learning media in the form of animated short films about religious diversity effectively evoke the imagination inspires learners. Application of learning strategy SPPKB able to improve the ability of thinking and invention concepts and learners are able to solve problems that served learning materials. When students were asked to argue, invented the concept of the learning process has been able to express their opinions well. SPPKB strategy implementation can provide a solution to students who have been experiencing difficulties in the learning process oriented thinking and invention concepts and problem solving. Keywords: Thematic Learning Strategies, Social Sciences

Abstract

ABSTRACTTeaching and learning activities should not only be carried out conventionally, such aslecturers lecturing and students listening. Learning history must have variations in itsimplementation, the use of media can be one way so that teaching and learning activitiesare not monotonous. Because history is the study of the past and historical narrativesdemand to be explained chronologically. Thus, a quartet card containing pictures ofevents and historical figures that are conceptualized in accordance with historicalproclamation, is expected to be able to facilitate the delivery of contemporary historicalmaterial as well as learning activities to be active. The purpose of this study was todetermine the effectiveness of the use of learning media quartet cards events andhistorical figures. This type of research is an experimental method, with one grouppretest posttest design research design. From the results of the Kolmogorov-Smirnovtest using SPSS 14 it was found that the research subjects were normally distributed andbased on the results of the Paired Samples Test t-test it was found that the sig value was0,000> 0.05. While the t -10.921 and for ttable at a significant level α = 5% (0.05) withdegrees of freedom (df) n-1 or 45-1 = 44. 2-sided testing (significance = 0.025) resultsare obtained for ttable at 2, 01537 with a significant level of 0.025. Obtained the resultsof -test <-table (-10,921 <-2,01537) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it canbe concluded that the use of Learning Media Quartet Cards Events and HistoricalFigures Contemporary History Materials can improve the learning outcomes of studentsmajoring in history and sociology IKIP Budi Utomo Malang.Keywords: Quartet Card Media, Contemporary History, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to; (1) describe the history lesson planning, (2) describe the process of teaching history, (3) describe the evaluation of the teaching of history and (4) analyzing constraints experienced in the process of teaching history. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 4 Paloh. This research method is descriptive qualitative strategy used is a single case study. Results of this study concluded that: (1) Planning historical study conducted by social studies teacher at SMPN 4 Paloh still not optimal. The teacher has not made a good learning tool. Teachers have not been applying the concept of the learning plan in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. (2) The implementation of the teaching of history in SMP Negeri 4 Paloh still conventional. In teaching, teachers use a monotonous lecture method, less innovative learning media. Learning scenarios implemented without grooves so that there are no clear stages in its implementation. Material presented teacher absolute only obeying the groove and arrangement contained in the book. (3) social studies teacher not perform an adequate evaluation of learning. The evaluation process conducted merely making students grades. Capturing the value is only used for determining the grade. (4) Obstacles encountered in the process of teaching history in SMP 4 Paloh are limited facilities and infrastructure both at school and in the community. Abstract

The aim of this study to research deeply on Risk Factors For Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in children Sexual Abuse. The method used to conduct this study from including a variety of sources: 1) results abstract of scientific writing, 2) review journals. Selection of the article focuses on children sexual abuse who experience PTSD, review articles carried in the last 11 years ranging from 2005 to 2015, consists of 35 articles that analyzed the risk factors for PTSD in cases traumatic as sexual abuse. PTSD is an ongoing maladaptive reaction to a traumatic event that involves death or threat of death or serious physical harm or threats to the safety of themselves or others. Individuals who experience PTSD can be seen from three of the following symptoms: 1) re-experiencing of events traumatic , 2) avoidance, 3) hyperarousal, have difference in symptoms between children and adults, symptoms in children is usually characterized by bedwetting, speech disorders, poor attachment, etc. As for the risk factors associated with PTSD in children sexual abuse have two (2) factors : 1) vulnerability factors in children and 2) environmental factors (family and social). These two factors, will be broken down into three phases trigger PTSD in children are : 1) Pre-Trauma, 2). Peri-Trauma, and 3). Post-Trauma. Kata Kunci : Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Children, Sexual Abused.

Abstract
