Abstract

The Way Besai River is located in Sumber Jaya District, West Lampung Regency. River discharge is an indicator of watershed function in transforming rain into stream flow. River discharge is generally presented by hydrograph. There are two methods to derive unit hydrograph, i. e. Measured Unit Hydrograph method (HST) and Synthetic Unit Hydrograph method (HSS). Synthetic Unit Hydrograph is used if the watershed does not have sufficient hydrometry data for calculating flood discharge. The purpose of this study is to analyze Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Gama I, Synthetic Unit Hydrograph SCS (HEC-HMS), and measured unit hydrograph for Way Besai River. The method used in this study includes Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Gama I, Synthetic Unit Hydrograph SCS (HEC-HMS), and Measured Unit Hydrograph. The results of this study show that Unit Hydrograph derived from Synthetic Unit Hydrograph SCS (HEC-HMS) is better than the result derived from Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Gama I based on peak discharge, peak time, base time and base flow values. Abstract

The Education hospital building of University of Lampung has been stalled and the construction is abandoned for years. So that, there is concern about the existing strength installed in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate and to strengthen the structure for increasing the strength and assuring appropriateness of the building. Two methods used in evaluating this building which weredirect survey method in the field and numerical method used the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) program. For strengthening calculations the American Concrete Institute code was applied (ACI 440.2R, 2008). The material for strengthening used Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP). The results showed that the existing concrete compressive strength on all structural elements decreased from the design which was 25 MPa. However, theexisting steel reinforcement tests showed good strength which greater than design strength of 400 Mpa.In strengthening calculation with GFRP type of SEH-51A which has tensility strength of 460 MPa, the material can increase flexural strength of several slabs that requiredfor strengthening. In addition, in the shear wall analysis, it concluded that the existing shear wall were strong enough to withstand the nominal shear forcesdesign that might be occured. Keywords : Structures Evaluation, Strengthening Structures, Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymers, Concrete Slab and Shear Walls.

Abstract

The University of Lampung is one of university in lampung that possesses the active as much as 25.805 students in 2016. This study aims to for any identifying characteristic mode of transportation and he knows the selection of factors influencing the students in an election mode of transportation to campus .This study was conducted by the use of the method of analysis descriptive against characteristic of the selection of modes of transportation by college students and methods correlations to know variables affecting the selection of modes of transport by university students lampung.The result of this study showed that the proportion of students foot and bike (16,7%) percent motorcycle (48,0%) percent car (16,0%) percent and public transportation (19,3%) percent The results of the testing correlation value and the relationship with the variables transportation used by students to reach campus and unknown factors influencing the selection of modes of transportation students to campus University of Lampung, sex is the intensity of the, mode the cost of /, fare, age travel time, mileage, vehicle ownership and income parents based on the calculation on a variable that has the lowest correlation value are ownership variables license with the correlation of 0,180 (α<0,05), and the highest correlation is variable income parents with the correlation of 0,398 (α< 0,05).

Abstract

Untuk mendapatkan tanah timbunan dengan kualitas yang baik, diperlukan pemadatan serta pengujian California Bearing Ratio (CBR) agar tanah timbunan kuat dan stabil terhadap beban struktur maupun beban non struktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil uji CBR metode tumbukan dengan hasil uji CBR metode tekanan.Sampel tanah yang digunakan adalah tanah timbunan biasa, terdiri dari enam sampel untuk pengujian CBR metode tumbukan dan delapanbelas sampel untuk pengujian CBR metode tekanan menggunakan alat uji tekan pemadat modifikasi. Tekanan yang digunakan adalah 5 MPa, 10 MPa, dan 15 MPa dengan menggunakan tiga sampel tanah pada masing-masing tekanan. Dari penelitian diperoleh hasil nilai CBR yang bervariasi, nilai CBR tanpa rendaman metode tumbukan (2,45%) lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai CBR tanpa rendaman metode tekanan yaitu sebesar 4,87%, 4,9%, dan 5%. Sebaliknya, nilai CBR rendaman metode tumbukan (2%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai CBR rendaman metode tekanan yaitu 0,78%, 0,8%, dan 1,45%.Kata kunci: Tanah Timbunan, Standard Proctor, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Alat Uji Tekan Pemadat Modifikasi.

Abstract

Kebutuhan bahan aspal sebagai salah satu bahan pembuatan prasarana jalan tidak diiringi denganpeningkatan kualitasnya, sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatan bahan aspal guna memeperpanjangumur perkerasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan variasi kadarlignin pada aspal penetrasi 60/70 terhadap karakteristik Marshall dan mencari kadar lignin terbaikDilakukan pengujian dengan variasi penambhan kadar lignin sebesar 0%, 3%, 6% dengan suhurendaman standar pengujian dan suhu percobaan sesuai dengan kondisi cuaca di Indonesia yangmempunyai dua musim, yaitu musim panas dan musim penghujan yang disimulasikan denganvarasi suhu rendaman 45ºC dan suhu tinggi 75ºC, selanjutnya akan dibandingkan dengan hasilpenelitian terdahulu yang mengggunakan aspal termodifikasi Jaya Aspal Polimer (JAP) danTaftpack-Super (TPS) 5%.

Abstract

One of the public transportations in Bandar Lampung is the BRT Rajabasa-Panjang corridor. However, due to the lack of interest of the community to use public vehicles specifically for BRT, only one of the seven corridors operated.The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effectiveness of BRT Transport Service Routes in the Rajabasa-Panjang corridor with the effect of effectiveness measured by service frequency, load factor, head way, travel speed, and standardized departure time as service performance indicators.The results of this study are the average speed of BRT Rajabasa-Panjang route, which is 26.25 km/hr, and from Panjang-Rajabasa route is 27.87 km/hr. For the average value of Load Factor on the Rajabasa-Panjang route is 38.23 % and on the Panjang-Rajabasa route is 38.80%. From the results of the data obtained, the Time Headway value is obtained at 16.5 minutes and the value of service frequency is equal to 4 vehicles/hour. The average cycle time on BRT is Monday and Friday, which is 2 hours 49 minutes and Saturday is only 2 hours 28 minutes. The number of bus fleets needed is 10 units for one cycle. Keywords: load factor, time headway, service frequency, speed, fleet requirements, bus effectiveness.

Abstract

Rainfall data is one of the data which plays an important role in order to calculate construction project, especially for flood hazard zone nor near the river zone and coastal area. In rainfall data recording sometimes an unwanted thing happened like a rainfall data vacancy in certain area, this is certainly has an impact on the construction’s calculation. On a missing rainfall data, predictions can be made using the method of reciprocal, normal ratio, an algebraic average. The purpose of this sudy is to determine the correlation value from the result of rainfall data predictions by comparing the correlation values of these three methods by using three stations R002,006,R018 in pringsewu regency. This study also aims to determine the fluctuations in the results of these three methods, which methods produces the best correlation and not too fluctuating in order to replace the missing rainfall data. The results of this research that has been done, using the method of reciprocal obtained that standard deviation give the best result among other I 0,22 which is categorized as poor value and the result of correlation average is 0,36 which is categorized as good enough. This result is the best value among the other methods which is calculated using data per years for 34 years.Keywords: algebraic average method, reciprocal method, normal ratio method, missing rainfall data, pearson correlation, standard deviation.

Abstract

Road facilities aim to accomodate existing traffic volumes the designing is also adjusted to traffic characteristic. However, in fact, the comfort level has not meet the requirements of the guide book. This problem is indicated by the slowing down of passing vehicles, the long traffic jam that makes road density this research, simulated to compare vehicles volume and the road capacity along the research road, analysis the level of service catagory based on the road density, predicted the time traveled of the traffic and accomodated by types of road, degree of saturation and speed allowed.  Based on the date analysis the highest traffic jam for traffic volume is in Purnawirawan, then after the analysis of capacity, the highess road density is in University of Lampung, the underpass project for the degree of saturation the analysis is compared with the on the spot real time date. And the result is the highest traffic jam is in underpass project in University of Lampung wich is the real time distance traveled is more density than the distance allowed.  In conclusion, we need to review the geometric design of road, because the geometric design of road is really affect traffic jam. And we have to re-announced about public transportation, so the vehicles volume will decrease. Keywords: traffic volumes. Degree of saturation, speed, road capacity..

Abstract

University of Lampung has some of water patch such as small dams and retention basin which is needed optimalisazion to improve the function. Among of the small dams, there is small dam is located at Deer Park at University Of Lampung need to redesign. The purpose of redesign this small dam conservation is to increase its function as water conservation building. Water conservation building has functioned as rain harvesting and water reserves during the dry seasonThe methods are used to redesign this small dam conservation are hydrological , small dam conservation construction planning , analysis stability of  planned constructions and the last method is estimating building construction cost.  Small dam conservation planned height of 5 m,withabaseelevationat+104,7 thedamcrestelevation+112,5,00m.The flood debit of 426,279 m3/sec with cycle period 10 years.Spillway which used is Open Ogee type and basin specific energy building Vlugter type. Stability small dam conservation at Deer Park University of Lampung construction stated as safe. Cost estimated of design planning of conservation small dam is Rp. 5.918.096.000,00. Reservoir volume after planned to be 13.213,5627 m3. This volume has increased from the existing volume of the previous reservoir, which was only 5.981,3997 m3. Abstract

Determination of tariff rates must be able to bridge the interests of passengers and operators of public transport. The Trans Lampung Bus services for people in various travel routes, one of them is from Bandar Lampung - Raden Inten Airport and vice versa. Data is obtained by carrying out load factor surveys on Trans Lampung Bus Route Bandar Lampung - Raden Inten II Airport and conducting interviews with PT. Trans Lampung. Then the data is analyzed, the results of data analysis to determine the amount of Vehicle Operating Costs (BOK).According by BOK based tariffs with the results of a survey conducted by researchers were able to obtain 11,43% of existing load factor and a tariff of Rp38.100,00/passenger. Based on the data obtained from the Trans Lampung bus on (weekday) 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of November 2018 and on (weekend) 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of November 2018 with a load factor of 12,58% to obtain BOK tariff is Rp34.700,00/passenger. Based on data obtained from the Trans Lampung bus on Monday (weekday), Sunday (weekend), the average load factor in one year (January - December 2018) is 14,46%, so the BOK tariff is Rp30.000,00/passenger. Based on the survey results of load factor sister Cahya Ayu Afrisca on 10 September – 3 November 2018 the load factor was obtained on Monday (weekday) and Sunday (weekend) was 21,79% so that the BOK tariff is Rp20.100,00/passenger.Keywords: tariffs, public transportation, Vehicle Operating Costs, BOK.
