Abstract

In order to support bureaucratic reform program in the field of land services, the National Land Registry Agency issued regulations on service standards and decisions about Sapta Land Code. This study aims to analyze the levels of interest and performance of the officials of Land Registry Office in Bogor Regency and to analyze the level of satisfaction of the community on the service of the maintenance of land registry data by the Office. The analytical tool used to determine the satisfaction of the community was the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed that there is a gap between the petition of certification and completion of the certificate. The analysis results of IPA based on the dimensions of service quality maintenance of land registry data showed that overall the community is satisfied with the service quality of the Land Registry Office of Bogor Regency. This is demonstrated by the discrepancies between the performance average score of 3,54 and the interest average score of 3,49. Thus, the average score of a positive gap of 0,05 was obtained, and CSI value obtained was 71,14%. Based on the measurement of scale range using the Simamora formula, the CSI analytical results showed that the community is satisfied with the maintenance service of land records in the Land Registry Office of Bogor Regency.Keywords: satisfaction, service quality, maintenance of land registry data, IPA, CSI

Abstract

This study was conducted to measure the implementation gap of forest and land rehabilitation (RHL) policy against its objectives, namely maintaining life support systems, and designing strategies to strengthen its subsequent implementation. This study took a case study on the implementation of RHL at Bangunjaya Village, Cigudeg District of Bogor. The assessment used three parameters based on Permenhut No P.39/Menhu-II/2010 including regional, institutional, and technological parameters as well as community participation. Each parameter was weighed by the ranking method based on interviews with the experts. The strategy design was conducted using the Analytic Network Process (ANP). The research results showed that the level of successful implementation in Bangunjaya RHL is 66.3%, categorized as "medium level". The lowest result is in the technological conformity parameter i.e. 11.57%. The design strategy is focused on increasing the success of the conformity of the technology and increase of community participation. The results of the weighting using ANP strategic priority, the priority strategy for the following RHL policy implementation to reach its target is the strengthening of the capacity in conducting activities and involving the community with a weight of 34.8%. The strengthening of the capacity includes streamlining the RHL paradigm RHL by not only growing but also enriching knowledge of overall forest utilization and technical optimization of land use.Keywords: strategic planning, policy implementation, forest and rehabilitation, Analytic Network Process (ANP)

Abstract

Nowadays, Korean culture is dominating the global lifestyle including that of Indonesia. There are a variety of Korean restaurants, one of which adopts the concept of Korean Fan Café which is used as a gathering forum for the Korean popular culture fans. The aims of this study are to obtain information related to consumer demographics and analyze attitudes toward marketing mix in the consumer decision making in Daebak Fan Café. Thus, descriptive and chi-square analyses were utilized as the methods of data analysis. The results showed that the majority of consumers of Daebak Fan Cafe are women aged 21-30 years, with single status. Most of the consumers are students with pocket money ranging from ≤ Rp 1,000,000 per month and reside in Depok. There are two demographic variables noted in the study i.e. the consumers’ ages and incomes which are related to the marketing mix variables; covering social groups, products, and promotions, while the employment status variable only relates to the promotions.Keywords: demography, fan cafe, decision making, marketing mix, chi-squareABSTRAKAkhir-akhir ini, budaya Korea sangat mendominasi gaya hidup masyarakat dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Berbagai restoran Korea dibangun, alah satunya dengan konsep Korean Fan Cafe yang merupakan wadah berkumpul para penggemar budaya populer Korea. Tujuan studi ini adalah memperoleh informasi yang berkaitan dengan demografi konsumen, dan menganalisis sikap terhadap marketing mix pada pengambilan keputusan konsumen di Daebak Fan Cafe. Metode analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar konsumen yang datang ke Daebak Fan Cafe mayoritas adalah wanita dengan usia 21–30 tahun dengan status belum menikah. Mayoritas konsumen adalah pelajar dengan uang saku ≤ Rp1.000.000 per bulan dan berdomisili di Depok. Studi ini mencatat bahwa terdapat dua variabel demografi yaitu usia dan pendapatan yang berhubungan dengan variabel marketing mix yaitu sosial-grup, produk, dan promosi, sedangkan untuk variabel status pekerjaan hanya berhubungan dengan promosi.Kata kunci: demografi, fan cafe, pengambilan keputusan, marketing mix, chi-square

Abstract

The purposes of this study are 1) to analyzing the employee perceptions on the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment, and their effects on the employee performance of PT Pul Logistics Indonesia (PLI); 2) to analyze the most influential factors among the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment on the performance of PLI employees; 3) to formulate strategies to improve the performance of PLI employees by developing the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment. The methods utilized in this study were the Scale Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Thus, the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment have significant effects on the employee performance. Leadership is identified as the most influential factor followed by motivation, work environment, and organizational culture as the least. The formulation of strategies to improve employee performance covers the strengthening of professionalism culture, improvement in the commitment of performance assessment transparency, increase in knowledge and leadership awareness indicators, provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and increase in the understanding of employee SOP.Keywords: organizational culture, motivation, leadership, work environment, employee performance, SEMABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisis persepsi karyawan terhadap budaya organisasi, motivasi, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja, serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Pul Logistics Indonesia (PLI); 2) menganalisis faktor yang paling berpengaruh di antara budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PLI; 3) merumuskan strategi meningkatkan kinerja karyawan PLI melalui peningkatan budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan, dan lingkungan kerja. Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan adalah dengan analisis rentang skala dan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja diikuti motivasi selanjutnya lingkungan kerja dan terakhir budaya organisasi. Rumusan strategi meningkatkan kinerja karyawan diantaranya penguatan budaya profesionalisme, peningkatan komitmen transparansi penilaian kinerja, peningkatan indikator pengetahuan dan kesadaran kepemimpin, pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana penunjang kerja, peningkatan pemahaman SOP karyawan. Abstract

This study aims to provide a new perspective on the governance of employee career planning prevailing in BPN RI in which this is alleged to constitute the lethargic and counterproductive atmosphere to the employee performance level. In this study, the writer analyzed the formulation of the indicators of the existing career planning and identified how these indicators should be valued more precisely. Furthermore, the recommended managerial implications for Organization and Civil management of BPN RI were formulated. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was utilized to examine the results of in-depth interviews with the experts as the respondents in this study and they were also supported by literature studies. The results showed that there are a number of fundamental flaws identified in the career planning for BPN RI, and they need to be corrected. In reference to AHP analysis, it can be seen that the career pattern is a variable with the highest level of interest in the implementation of career planning. AHP analysis results showed that the type of office is an indicator which has the highest interest rate in career pattern variable while the competence attribute has the highest interest rate in the occupational qualification variable. Moreover, at the entry point variable, educational background is an indicator with the highest interest rate, and so is the indicator of work experience which has the highest value in the career restriction variable. These results indicate that career planning for BPN RI needs to be improved with a primary focus on the implementation of career pattern.Keywords: AHP, BPN RI, career planning factors, career planning variables, indicators of career planningABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan memberikan perspektif baru terhadap tata kelola perencanaan karir pegawai yang berlaku di lingkungan BPN RI yang diduga telah menimbulkan atmosfer kelesuan dan bahkan kontraproduktif terhadap tingkat  kinerja pegawai. Dalam hal ini penulis menganalisis perumusan indikator-indikator perencanaan karir yang ada dan bagaimana yang seharusnya dinilai lebih tepat; serta kemudian merumuskan implikasi manajerial yang direkomendasikan bagi manajemen Biro Organisasi dan Kepegawaian BPN RI. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analytic hierarchy process (AHP) dari hasil wawancara mendalam terhadap para pakar yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini yang didukung dengan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa perencanaan karir di BPN RI masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan mendasar yang perlu dikoreksi. Selain itu berdasarkan hasil analisis AHP, dapat diketahui bahwa pola karir merupakan variabel dengan nilai tingkat kepentingan tertinggi dalam pelaksanaan perencanaan karir. Hasil analisis AHP tidak menunjukkan bahwa tipe kantor merupakan indikator yang memiliki nilai tingkat kepentingan tertinggi dalam variabel pola karir, sementara indikator atribut kompetensi memiliki nilai tingkat kepentingan tertinggi dalam variabel kualifikasi jabatan. Sedangkan pada variabel entry point, indikator latar belakang pendidikan merupakan indikator dengan nilai tingkat kepentingan paling tinggi dan begitu pula indikator pengalaman kerja yang menjadi indikator dengan nilai tertinggi pada variabel batasan karir. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa perencanaan karir di BPN RI perlu diperbaiki dengan fokus utama pada pelaksanaan pola karir.Kata kunci: AHP, BPN RI, faktor perencanaan karir, indikator perencanaan karir, variabel perencanaan karir

Abstract

The development of the domestic banking business requires stakeholders to expose their best performance with any available resources they own. The performance assessment owned by a company should encourage motivation to increase productivity for each employee. Productivity, as a measure of employee performance, is an important factor for a company in achieving its goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of performance assessment on employee performance, particularly in the marketing field. Thus, partial least square (PLS) was utilized to examine the influence of performance assessment on performance. The result shows that the assessment contributes an influence on the motivating factor reaching up to 78%, while the motivating factor affects the performance as much as 44%. Hence, it can be concluded that the assessment of performance affects the employee performance in the presence of motivation supporting factor.Keywords: motivation factor, performance assessment, performance, PLSABSTRAKPerkembangan bisnis perbankan dalam negeri menuntut seluruh stakeholder menunjukkan kinerja terbaik dengan seluruh sumber daya yang dimiliki. Penilaian kinerja yang dimiliki oleh suatu perusahaan seharusnya dapat menjadi alat yang mampu mendorong motivasi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas bagi masing-masing karyawan. Produktivitas sebagai tolak ukur kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor penting bagi suatu perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penilaian kinerja terhadap kinerja khususnya karyawan pemasaran. Pengujian pengaruh penilaian kinerja terhadap kinerja menggunakan partial least square (PLS). Hasilnya adalah penilaian kinerja memengaruhi faktor pemotivasi sebesar 78%, sedangkan faktor pemotivasi memengaruhi kinerja sebesar 44%. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah penilaian kinerja memengaruhi kinerja jika terdapat faktor pendorong motivasi. Kata kunci: penilaian kinerja, faktor motivasi, performance, PLS

Abstract

Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Bogor Agricultural University, has been running a sustainable quality assurance system in both academic and non-academic fields. The success of academic management can be examined through the achievement of established performance indicators. This study aimed to analyze the performance of undergraduate academic program in the period of 2005—2013. Thus, it also aims to investigate the causes of the decline in the achievement of academic performance indicator. The results showed that the achievement of FPIK performance indicator in 2013 was 81.45%. This value decreased compared to that in 2012 i.e. 85.09%. The achievement of academic performance indicators of undergraduate program in 2013 was 7.99%, decreasing from the previous year of 11.2%. For the past decades, FPIK has put efforts to improve its achievement of performance indicator in the perspective of quality assurance. By referring to SWOT analysis, strategies are formulated to improve the qualities of input, process and output. To ensure the continuous improvement of qualities, quality assurance strategy is adopted.Keywords: performance indicator, quality assurance, continuous improvementABSTRAKFakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Institut Pertanian Bogor, telah menjalankan sistem penjaminan mutu yang berkelanjutan dalam bidang akademik dan non akademik. Keberhasilan pengelolaan bidang akademik dapat dilihat pada pencapaian indikator kinerja yang telah ditentukan. Dalam penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk menganalisis pencapaian kinerja bidang akademik program sarjana pada periode 2005–2013. Dalam penelitian ini juga bertujuan mempelajari penyebab penurunan pencapaian indikator kinerja bidang akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian indikator kinerja FPIK tahun 2013 sebesar 81,45%. Nilai ini menurun dibandingkan dengan pencapaian kinerja tahun 2012 sebesar 85,09%. Pencapaian  indikator kinerja bidang akademik program sarjana pada tahun 2013 sebesar 7,99%, nilai ini turun dari tahun sebelumnya sebesar 11,2%. FPIK telah melakukan banyak hal untuk meningkatkan pencapaian indikator kinerja dalam perspektif penjaminan mutu untuk dekade terakhir. Dengan analisis SWOT dihasilkan strategi untuk peningkatan kualitas input, proses dan output. Untuk menjamin perbaikan perbaikan mutu yang berkelanjutan digunakan strategi penjaminan mutu. Abstract

This study aims to 1) evaluate the implementation of major-minor curriculum system in IPB Undergraduate Program, 2) identify factors leading to less optimized implementation of the major-minor curriculum system in IPB Undergraduate Program and 3) design strategies to optimize the implementation of the major-minor curriculum system in IPB Undergraduate Program. Analytical Hierarchy Process was utilized as the method of study. The results showed that the implementation of the major-minor curriculum system in IPB Undergraduate Program is still considered to be less optimal. Factors influencing the implementation of the major-minor curriculum system in IPB Undergraduate Program, according to its priority, include: 1) the availability of competent and committed teaching staffs, 2) the availability of adequate lecturing facilities and infrastructure, 3) the availability of lecture schedule to accommodate students who choose minor curriculum, and 4) the availability of reliable and IT-based Academic Information System (SIMAK). Faktor-faktor  yang berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan kurikulum sistem mayor-minor pada Program Pendidikan Sarjana di IPB, berdasarkan urutan prioritas adalah;1) ketersediaan  staf pengajar yang kompeten dan berkomitmen tinggi,2) ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana ruang perkuliahan  yang memadai,3) tersedianya jadwal perkuliahan yang dapat mengakomodir keinginan mahasiswa yang memilih minor dan 4) ketersediaan Sistem  Informasi Akademik (SIMAK) yang handal dan berbasis IT. Strategi optimalisasi pelaksanaan kurikulum sistem mayor-minor pada Program Pendidikan Sarjana IPB, berdasarkan urutan prioritas adalah; 1) meningkatkan kompetensi dan komitmen staf pendidik dan staf kependidikan,2) meningkatkan komitmen departemen dan fakultas untuk memfasilitasi  agar dapat memenuhi jadwal minor,3) menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai untuk pelaksanaan kurikulum sistem mayor minor dan 4) menyediakan jadwal perkuliahan yang bisa mengakomodir keinginan mahasiswa yang memilih minor.Kata kunci: analytical hierarchy prosess, optimalisasi, kurikulum sistem mayor-minor

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the equity financing at the Islamic Banking which covers quantitative financing profit and loss sharing and to formulate policies to be performed by the management in maintaining the financing growth. The study was conducted by utilizing Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model with variables including BI rate and inflation as the external factor. The test results of both external factors indicated a negative impact on both financing. BI rate as an indicator of the government's policy becomes the fastest variable affecting the equity financing i.e. at lag 1. Inflation comes as the macroeconomic indicator at lags 2, 9 and 10. All internal factors have a negative impact on both financing types except for the cost of education and training, and autoregressive variables. The fund of the third party influences the sharing of profit and loss (mudharabah) at lag 1 and at 9, meanwhile the capital adequacy ratio affects the profit sharing (mudharabah) at lag 8, and it affects the loss sharing (musyarakah) at lag 6. The cost of education and training has an effect on loss sharing at lag 5, and Islamic banking basic education affects profit financing at lag 2 whereas the trend of financing profit sharing is at lag 8 and loss sharing at lags 1 and 2 and since it autoregressive, it affects each financing of the current period.Keywords: autoregressive, dynamic, mudaraba, musharaka, profit and loss sharing financingABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pembiayaan berbasis bagi hasil pada Bank Syariah yang meliputi pembiayaan mudharabah dan musyarakah secara kuantitatif dan merumuskan kebijakan-kebijakan yang dapat dilakukan manajemen dalam menjaga pertumbuhan pembiayaannya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Model dengan variabel yang digunakan meliputi BI Rate dan inflasi sebagai faktor eksternal. Hasil pengujian kedua faktor eksternal memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kedua pembiayaan tersebut. BI Rate sebagai indikator kebijakan pemerintah menjadi variabel yang paling cepat memengaruhi pembiayaan berbasis bagi hasil yaitu pada lag 1. Berikutnya diikuti oleh inflasi sebagai indikator makroekonomi pada lag 2, 9 dan 10. Seluruh faktor internal memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kedua jenis pembiayaan kecuali biaya pendidikan dan pelatihan dan variabel autoregressive. Dana pihak ketiga memengaruhi pembiayaan mudharabah pada lag 1 dan 9. Sementara rasio kecukupan modal pada lag 8 memengaruhi pembiayaan mudharabah dan pada lag 6 memengaruhi pembiayaan musyarakah. Biaya pendidikan dan pelatihan memengaruhi pembiayaan musyarakah pada lag 5, pendidikan dasar perbankan syariah memengaruhi pembiayaan mudharabah pada lag 2. Sementara tren pembiayaan mudharabah pada lag 8 dan pembiayaan musyarakah pada lag 1 dan 2 sebagai autoregressive memengaruhi masing-masing pembiayaan pada periode kini.Kata kunci:    autoregressive, dynamic, mudaraba, musharaka, profit and loss sharing financing

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze the factors that affect the financing collectability in XYZ Sharia Bank branch office in West Jakarta, to formulate and recommend a strategic planning of the bank to reduce the level of Non-Performing Loans (NPF) in the future. Logistic regression and SWOT matrix were utilized as the methods of this study. Thus, the results showed that the factors influencing the financing collectability of XYZ Sharia Bank customers are financing agreement types, margin/profit sharing equivalent rate, economic sectors, and value of the company Altman Z-Score. From the analyses of both external and internal factors, it reveals that strategic factors are identified to reduce the value of NPF in XYZ Sharia Bank West Jakarta i.e. by performing defensive actions. The assessment results of the strategy in XYZ Islamic Bank, West Jakarta, in terms of SWOT in tightening the cost analysis of SME sector, are as follow: carrying out the process of cost analysis more carefully and thoroughly, and conducting HR personnel training, or sharing with other branches in the neighboring areas, anticipating over assessment by adopting an independent assessor, performing more detailed screening in doing financing disbursement, and maximizing the existing internal regulations related to the financing facility.Keywords: Collectable financing, logistic regression, SWOT, Altman Z-Score, SMEABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kolektibilitas pembiayaan pada Bank Syariah XYZ kantor cabang Jakarta Barat dan merumuskan dan merekomendasikan perencanaan strategis Bank Syariah XYZ dalam rangka menekan tingkat Non Performing Loans (NPF) di masa yang akan datang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan regresi logistik dan matriks SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kolektibilitas pembiayaan oleh nasabah Bank Syariah XYZ adalah Jenis akad pembiayaan, tingkat equivalent rate margin/bagi hasil, sektor ekonomi, dan nilai Altman Z-Score perusahaan. Hasil analisis lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal diperoleh faktor-faktor strategis yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam menekan nilai NPF pada Bank Syariah XYZ Jakarta Barat dengan melakukan tindakan defensif. Hasil evaluasi strategi Bank Syariah XYZ Kantor Cabang Jakarta Barat dari segi SWOT dalam memperketat analisis pembiayaan sektor UMKM antara lain: melakukan proses analisis pembiayaan dengan lebih hati-hati dan menyeluruh, melakukan pelatihan tenaga SDM atau dengan melakukan sharing dengan cabang lain dalam wilayah yang berdekatan, mengantisipasi over penilaian dengan menggunakan penilai independen, melakukan screening lebih detail pada saat melakukan pencairan pembiayaan, dan memaksimalkan peraturan internal yang ada terkait pemberian fasilitas pembiayaan.Kata kunci: kolektibilitas pembiayaan, regresi logistik, SWOT, Altman Z-Score, UMKM
