Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of mobile banking service quality and digital promotion strategies on user satisfaction with BTN Syariah Mobile among Gen Z customers at the BTN Syariah Kudus Sub-Branch Office (KCP). The research adopts a quantitative approach with an associative type of study. The population consists of Gen Z customers who are active users of BTN Syariah Mobile in Kudus, with a sample of 90 respondents selected using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis techniques include instrument testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis conducted via SPSS. The partial results of the study indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction (t-count 2.258 > 1.987; Sig 0.026 < 0.05). Digital promotion strategy also has a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction (t-count 3.846 > 1.987; Sig 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence user satisfaction with an F-value of 30.432 and a significance value of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.398 indicates that service quality and digital promotion contribute 39.8% to the satisfaction of using BTN Syariah Mobile, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

This study is motivated by a cultural phenomenon found in Traji Village, Parakan District, Temanggung Regency, namely the Suran Manten Lurah Traji tradition. In this annual tradition, held on the eve of the first day of Suro (Muharram), the village head and his or her spouse symbolically reenact a wedding ceremony. The tradition is deeply rooted in local mythological beliefs concerning supernatural powers, and the community continues to preserve it because of the belief that abandoning it would bring misfortune. This study aims to examine the implementation of the tradition and analyze it from the perspectives of 'urf (Islamic customary law) and mythology. A qualitative case study approach was employed using descriptive analysis. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving the village head, religious leaders, community leaders, and members of the organizing committee. The findings indicate that the Suran Manten Lurah Traji tradition can be classified as 'urf 'amali (customary practice) in terms of its form, 'urf sahih (a valid custom consistent with Islamic principles) in terms of its validity, and 'urf khass (a local or specific custom) in terms of its scope. From a mythological perspective, the tradition continues to embody strong symbolic meanings and beliefs, particularly through ritual offerings (sesaji) and sacred sites that are believed to possess supernatural significance.

This study is motivated by the increasing number of online gambling cases in Indonesia, which has developed into a serious social, economic, and financial well-being issue for society. West Java Province has recorded the highest number of online gambling cases in Indonesia, involving 535,644 individuals with a transaction value of approximately IDR 3.8 trillion. The high prevalence of online gambling has placed Indonesia in a state of financial health emergency. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of financial literacy and religiosity on online gambling behavior, as well as its impact on the financial health of the younger generation in Parung District. This study employed a quantitative research design using path analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The variables examined in this study were financial literacy (X1), religiosity (X2), online gambling behavior (Z), and financial health (Y). The results of Model I show that financial literacy and religiosity have a significant negative effect on online gambling behavior. Meanwhile, the results of Model II indicate that only financial literacy has a significant effect on financial health, whereas religiosity has no significant effect on financial health.

This study employed a quantitative correlational design using convenience sampling Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with five-point Likert-scale items and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics, and simple linear regression. The results show that product completeness has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.316, indicating that 31.6% of customer satisfaction is influenced by product completeness. From the perspective of Islamic economics, reflects the principle of maslahah by ccessibility, efficiency, and convenience in fulfilling daily needs. These findings confirm that managing pesantren retail based on product completeness not only enhances customer satisfaction but also strengthens the role of pesantren as an economic institution grounded in Islamic ethical and social values.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid development of increasingly creative digital marketing strategies that may raise ethical concerns when conducted without transparency. This study aims to analyze Muslim consumer perceptions of covert marketing practices on viral products in TikTok Shop from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with business actors and consumers. The researcher also conducted observations and documentation related to covert marketing practices. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that covert marketing practices are considered effective in attracting consumer attention because they are able to build emotional closeness and increase trust through promotions presented naturally. Such strategies are commonly implemented through social media, personal recommendations, and the use of third parties in delivering promotional messages. However, in practice, several forms of marketing were found to potentially create unclear information and manipulate consumer perceptions. From the perspective of Islamic business ethics, marketing activities should be based on the principles of honesty, transparency, responsibility, and fairness. Therefore, covert marketing may be permissible as long as it does not involve deception, gharar (uncertainty), or misleading information for consumers. This study emphasizes that the balance between marketing creativity and the implementation of Islamic business ethics is an important factor in creating healthy and sustainable business practices.

Abstract

Monetary transmission has become increasingly constrained by transmission frictions and the non-linear relationship between the BI Rate and credit growth, reducing the effectiveness of monetary policy in the banking sector. Bank Indonesia’s 2025 Financial Stability Review indicates that the relationship between the BI Rate and credit growth is non-linear, challenging the assumptions of traditional monetary theory. Despite a relatively stable and accommodative policy rate, credit growth slowed considerably, declining from 12.36% (year-on-year) in June 2024 to 7.77% (year-on-year) in June 2025, indicating weaker banking intermediation. Although banking liquidity remained adequate, as reflected in 6.96% growth in Third-Party Funds (DPK), this did not translate into stronger credit expansion. Credit growth is projected to remain within the 8–11% range in 2025, suggesting that credit demand remains relatively unresponsive to monetary easing. These findings suggest the presence of transmission frictions, including banks’ risk-averse lending behaviour, weak credit demand, and structural constraints within the banking sector. This study aimed to analyse the effectiveness of monetary transmission using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design that integrates quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The study examines whether reductions in the BI Rate stimulate credit growth or whether banking frictions constrain the effectiveness of monetary transmission. highlighting that the effectiveness of such policies depends on the behaviour of the banking sector, which serves as the main transmission channel. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating that the effectiveness of monetary policy depends not only on policy rate adjustments but also on the banking sector’s role as the primary transmission channel.
