Integrated Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities of lobster and pearl shells with the aim of increasing marine aquaculture production through the application and development of integrated aquaculture technologies. In addition, this activity is expected to increase knowledge and skills in productive economic business activities. In addition, this activity is expected to increase knowledge and skills in productive economic business activities. The method of implementing PKM is the method of demonstration plot, where the target community groups play an active role at all stages of activities. Implementation of activities offered to support the realization of PKM activities with steps that have been mutually agreed upon include strengthening and socializing PKM activities, training, strengthening institutional management, demonstration plots of integrated system cultivation and coaching and mentoring. The results of PKM activities provide a positive value for the target community, with integrated aquaculture production of floating net cages (KJA) in the sea no longer relying on one commodity, but one KJA unit can produce two commodities namely lobster (Panulirus homarus) and pearl shells (Pinctada maxima). Thus the potential to provide additional income for the community from these two commodities. In addition, through this PKM activity, it is expected that the knowledge and skills of the target communities will increase in order to strengthen community partnerships.

Kefir is a food made from fermented milk of cows or goats which are believed to have many benefits including as a source of probiotics, maintaining bone health, and reducing cholesterol. Puri Farm Living is a kefir-producing business unit located in Tuban District which often faced the problem of declining of kefir liquid quality during the shipping process. Kefir liquid suffered damage caused by bacterial growth activities which can continuously press the container. Thus, the container is not able to accommodate it. In addition, kefir products have a fairly short expiration period if they are exposed in ambient temperature for more than 6 hours. Freeze drying is a method of drying food products at low temperatures to maintain the function of bacteria in kefir. The community service program aims to provide the partner member skills in operating the freeze drying device. The stages of the program includes: 1) problem survey and needs analysis, 2) design of freeze drying equipment, 3) testing and installation, 4) training, 5) monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate that partners are able to use the freeze drying device, both in the process of preparing raw materials, production, and packaging. In addition, the partner has succeeded to produce 150 capsules containing dried kefir that have not been damaged after more than 6 hours. Moreover, there are business units from other regions that highly want to apply this method in kefir processing. Therefore, this method has been considered quite effective to overcome the problem of distributing kefir products.

Degraded land due to brick industry, piling material, and coal mining activities are widely covered the area of Kebon IX Village, Sungai Gelam Subdistrict, Muaro Jambi District. This service activity was aimed at encouraging collective action by the village community of Kebun IX to apply citronella cultivation and processing technology in order to rehabilitate their land as well as develop productive economic businesses as a substitute for their old businesses that were not environmentally friendly. The method used was the combination of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and collective action model in promotion strategy and technology adoption. Through counseling, training and demonstration plots, four types of integrated businesses, including cultivation, processing and utilization of citronella by-product, have been successfully developed in Kebon IX Village. Citronella plants at aged 6‒8 months produced leaves at a price of IDR 500/kg and after 3 months can be harvested again. One clump of citronella plants can produce 1.5 kg at the first harvest and increase to 2.0 kg after the next harvest. One hectare of land can contain 1000‒1500 clumps of citronella plants. Citronella plant soil costs IDR 250,000/L, the residue of the distillation can be used as animal feed (IDR 150/kg) or used as trichocompost (IDR 1,200/kg). Trichocompost is also needed as organic fertilizer for the continuity of citronella cultivation. The integration of citronella plants cultivation and processing industry has a positive impact on land reclamation efforts as well as to empower the community's economy.

Tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus) is top local potential in Wonogiri District, especially in Watupecah Hamlet, Gedong Village, Ngadirojo Subdistrict. The low marketability and storability of tawes requires innovation in fish processing of tawes into tawes crispy chips (taspy) to increase the marketability of tawes which then be a business oppurtunity for fishermen households to increase their income. However, inovation itself is not enough to increase fishermen household income, it requires effort to build business motivation in fishermen households to take business opportunity. This community service program aimed to know the success of training and group mentoring as an effort to foster business motivation of fishermen households. The program was carried out using intensive training and group mentoring methods for 33 fishermen households in Watupecah Hamlet covering the development of business motivation, time and behavior management, processing and marketing of taspy products. The results of the program showed that there was a changed in fishermen's knowledge and motivation on the aspect of innovation, dreams, and financial management. The success of this program is evidenced by the growth of the business motivation of fishermen households based on data analysis before and after the implementation of the program. It can be concluded that training and group mentoring are effective techniques in fostering business motivation of fishermen households. Through training and group mentoring the fishermen had chance to dialogue, share suggestion and opinions, cooperate, and interact positively with each other in a comfortable atmosphere as to support the growth of stronger ebusiness motivation of fishermen households.

Social forestry is sustainable forest management system implemented by local communities of Forest Farmer Group (FFG) aiming to increase community welfare, environmental balance and social cultural dynamics. Environment and Forestry Training Center Kadipaten conducted training to support social forestry programs with on-site model and was held August‒October 2018 in West Java and Central Java. The post-training evaluation was conducted one year after the training finished from June‒August 2019. The post-training evaluation aims to assess the suitability of the training materials with the needs of the farming business and the benefits of the training on the farming business developed by KTH. Data collection is done through questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis used descriptive analysis. The evaluation results on several training, i.e measurement and participatory mapping of social forestry areas, agroforestry engineering, oyster mushroom cultivation, making, packaging and marketing of bokashi, and nature tour guide showed that aspects of the relevance of the training to the needs of farming businesses are in the medium to high categories. The benefits of training to the farming businesses are in the medium and high category. To improve the quality of the training process and results, it is necessary to conduct a more careful analysis of training needs so that the training program is in line with the needs of the target community.

Growing catfish is relative needs a short time (3-4 months) that can be profitable for cultivators. The increase of public demand for catfish provides an opportunity for everyone to carry out this business, including the orphanage students. Because of this, the orphan empowerment aimed to educate and practice the basics of conventional catfish farming used probio-Fm technology. The program was conducted in November-December 2018. The empowerment program location was at Nurul Ikhsan Orphanage, Batu Rusa village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The participants were 40 orphans. Four steps of the program consisted of 1) preparation (coordination, survey, and materials preparation), 2) discussion of the training materials (management of conventional catfish farming) 3) Field practice (demonstration of plastic fish tank design and application of probio-Fm) 4) Monitoring and evaluation (the distribution of the questionnaire). Based on the questionnaire, the average of participants (50 %) agreed if they categorized as motivated participants in the program, the Transfering theory and practice methods were easy to understand and follow their needs. Besides, they agreed on the continuity of the program. We concluded that the program succeeded in educating the orphan student about cultivating the catfish with the conventional method based on probio-Fm, however, catfish maintenance should be accompanied by the intensive assistance until harvest. Educating catfish business analysis could more motivate the orphanage student to practice catfish farming.

Dukuh Dempok Village is one of the centers of red chili pepper production in Jember District. The problem faced by farmers is the presence of pest attacks.The pests that attack include whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), thrips, anthracnose and fusarium wilt. The purpose of this community service program is to provide education and training related to integrated pest control (IPM) in red chili cultivation. The training includes the multiplication of biological agents Beauveria bassiana and biofertilizer Trichoderma, as well as planting of refugia flowers around the red chili plantations. The training was conducted using the plot demonstration method. From the results of extension activities, data on farmers' knowledge improvement related to IPM control were obtained. The average pre-test score before the activity was 41.5 and the average post-test score of farmers after the activity was 87. After the training, the partner farmers were also able to multiply biological agents and make biological fertilizers and apply them to red chili cultivation. From the evaluation results, it is known that the application of B. bassiana, planting of refugia flowers, and the application of Trichoderma sp or the Beart method can reduce the use of pesticides by up to 50%. From these activities, farmers get new knowledge and technology related to red chili cultivation which is useful for increasing production, reducing pesticide use, reducing production costs, and obtaining maximum profits.

Red ginger is a beneficial rhizome used to treat sore throats, dry cough, colic, rheumatism, headache, and flatulence. This community service aims to provide knowledge about the benefits of red ginger for health and how to process red ginger to a worth to sell products. The knowledge about the benefits of red ginger for health presented directly and the processing of chew gummy demonstrated in front of the participants. The community service was carried out at the Senggigi Village Office by involving by involving cadre of Posyandu and PKK asparticipants. The participants are given a pre-test and post-test to determine the increase in participant understanding. The results showed an increase in post-test scores from pre-test values about the benefits of red ginger and its processing. Participants understand the benefits of red ginger for health and can process red ginger into chew gummy preparations.

Desa Megati terletak di Kecamatan Selemadeg Barat Kabupaten Tabanan. Posisi desa ini sangat strategis karena berada pada jalur nasional Denpasar Gilimanuk sekitar 90 km dari Denpasar. Posisi yang strategis ini dapat dijadikan potensi pengembangan desa mandiri pangan berbasis sumber daya alam yaitu desa yang mengelola produk-produk lokal menjadi bahan yang siap konsumsi dan dipasarkan. Melalui pembinaan kelompok-kelompok rumah tangga dengan pemberdayaan industri rumah tangga (IRT). Gerapekan Pengembangan Pangan (Gerbang Pangan) yang memiliki filosofi mengangkat produk lokal desa menjadi produk unggulan untuk dapat bersaing secara loka, nasional maupun global. KWT diharapkan mampu mengawal produk-produk lokal desa menjadi tuan rumah di desa sendiri maupun menjadi primadona secara lebih luas, dengan harapan mampu mengangkat taraf hidup kelompok khusunya dan taraf hidup masyarakat desa secara umum. tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah:Untuk membina dan mendampingi desa Megati menuju Desa Mandiri Pangan, Melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan kelompok industri rumah tangga secara intensif sampai menghasilkan produk yang siap jual dan memiliki kualitas bagus. metode pendekatan sepertiParticipatory Research Action (PAR) yang merupakan suatu pendekatan partisipatif, melakukan semua kegiatan secara bersama dengan masyarakat sasaran. Pendekatan alih teknologi guna memberikan inovasi-inovasi baru dalam hal teknologi tepat guna yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat sasaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada KWT Ayu Tangkas dilaksanakan di Desa Megati Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan telah berjalan sebesar 100% dengan capaian sebesar 100% pada mitra KWT Ayu Tangkas. Kegiatan pada KWT Ayu Tangkas meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengolahan pangan yang dihasilkan dari hasil pertanian di Desa Megatidengan berbagai varian kue lokal dan nasional ,pelatihan penataan manajemen dan administrasi kelompok.

UKM (Usaha Kecil dan Menengah) di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya masih dikelola dengan cara tradisional. UKM belum menerapkan standar proses sehingga produk akhir memiliki variasi mutu yang beragam. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan tentang Jaminan Mutu Gula Semut, CPPOB/GMP, Sanitasi serta praktik pembuatan gula semut yang baik dan penggunaan alat-alat ukur untuk standarisasi proses. Kegiatan dilakukan selama 5 hari di Kecamatan Sariwangi, Kabupaten Tasikamalaya dengan sasaran 20 pelaku usaha gula semut dari 4 kecamatan, yaitu Sariwangi, Culamega, Puspahiang dan Curug Gambir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua UKM Gula Semut belum memahami dan belum memiliki sarana produksi yang memenuhi syarat GMP, belum memahami makna jaminan mutu serta penggunaan alat-alat ukur yang mendukung perbaikan mutu gula semut. Hasil post test setelah pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman UKM dari nilai sebesar 21.66 menjadii sebesar 49.72. Perbaikan proses dilakukan dengan perbaikan penyaringan nira, kristalisasi dan penambahan putih telur untuk mengikat kotoran yang halus. Mutu porduk pasca pelatihan meningkat terutama dari kebersihan dan warna yang lebih cerah. Kata kunci: Gula semut, UKM, Pelatihan, Perbaikan Mutu.
