Abstract

Tujuan program ini adalah mengetahui langkah-langkah pelatihan mutu kerjasama dan mengoptimalkan pelatihan manajemen mutu kerjasama. Hal ini didasari pada permasalahan yang terjadi pada mitra yaitu kurangnya perhatian Kepala Sekolah dalam kerjasama lembaga, Bentuk kerjasama-kerjasama yang dimiliki oleh sekolah kurang maksimal, dan terbatasnya sumber dana yang dimiliki sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu.Target luaran dalam pengabdian ini adalah Modul Pelatihan Manajemen Mutu   Kabupaten dan Kota Magelang Kepala Sekolah Sebagai  Penunjang Kualitas Dan Akreditasi  Sekolah Dasar. Target ini meliputi beberapa aspek: 1) Model pelatihan manajemen sebagai penunjang mutu dan akreditasi sekolah dasar di Kabupaten-Kota Magelang. 2) Pemahaman Kepala Sekolah tentang pentingnya dan manfaat dari manajemen mutu kerjasama. 3) Kemampuan menyusun rencana strategis, dan tindak lanjut kerjsama Sekolah Dasar.Pelatihan yang diikuti oleh 25 kepala Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten dan Kota Magelang ini, menggunakan model pelatihan yang tertutup dengan  keuntungan penggunaan model ini yaitu: 1) Menerangkan beberapa aspek dari perilaku manusia dan interaksi, 2) Mengintegrasikan apa yang akan diketahui dengan observasi, 3) Penyederhanaan proses hubungan antar manusia yang kompleks, 4) Membimbing observasi. Pelatihan dalam program pengabdian ini memiliki aspek yaitu, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan organisasi, penilaian dan umpan balik, spesifikasi pekerjaan, identifikasi kebutuhan peserta pelatihan, menentukan tujuan, membuat kurikulum, memilih strategi pengajaran, dan pengadaan sumber–sumber pengajaran, pelaksanaan pelatihan. Efektifitas pelatihan  dilihat pengkuruan awal yaitu menggunakan pretest diperoleh skor pemahaman awal dengan persentase 67,4% dan pengukuran akhir dalam bentuk postest dengan persentase 82,95%. Terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang manajemen mutu kerjasama sekolah sebesar, terjadi peningkatan 15,55% dalam tahap pelatihan. Hal ini menunjukan efektifitas model pelatihan mutu kerjasama.

Abstract

The main problem of rice production in Kranggan village is mainly due to the lack of water, low soil fertility, high cost of seeds and fertiliser, which resulted in small output despite the overuse of synthetic fertilisers. In this activity, we described the accompaniment and application of SRI method for rice cultivation, particularly for the women farmer’s group. This community service aimed to improve the knowledge, insight, and skill in rice cultivation by employing SRI method to save the water, reduce the cost of seeds and fertiliser, and increasing time efficiency in rice production. It was anticipated that such an approach would result in the environmentally friendly production of healthy rice. The activity of community service was based on a survey to analyse the agricultural status of Kranggan village, extension activity on the application SRI method for rice cultivation, practical training and demonstration of rice cultivation plot using SRI method, and healthy rice packaging by the members of Women Farmer’s Group. The activities were then followed by pre-test and post-test to confirm the improvement of knowledge and skill. The results of the community service demonstrated that the use PowerPoint method for knowledge delivery increased the understanding of SRI system by 89%, while direct training in organic NPK fertiliser production and seagrass POC increased the skill by 85%. Besides, the accompaniment of the Women Farmer’s Group up to the post-harvest period empowered the group members as the rice production was environmentally friendly, lowered the cost, reduced the use of water and labour cost, resulted in the production of healthy rice, and increased selling price by 50%. Keywords: System of Rice Intensification, the Women Farmer’s Group Kranggan

Abstract

Community service is the integral part to tertiary education in Indonesia, as emphasized by Three Pillars of Tertiary Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) which consist of education, research, and community service. According to Article 47 verse (1) and (3) of Law 12/2012 on Tertiary Education, community service is conducted to implement and internalize science and technology in order to advance general prosperity and develop nation’s intellectual life. Community service is also applied as a lesson to maturate academics. This study is conducted to report how community service could be done in a role play method to meet the ideals set in the law. The study is based on community service program done by Geography Students Association in Sukahaji Village, Cipeundeuy sub-district, West Bandung Regency, where students are grouped to take part into local resident life of various occupations. The result of this study shows that 65% of local residents said that student role play model in community service is helpful for their daily activities, while 70% of students said that role play model in community service has motivated them on improving their understanding of communal life and raised social awareness.

Abstract

Data hasil penelitian di SMK Muhammadiyah Baruretno yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2018 tentang gambaran tingkat depresi, ansietas dan stres (DAAS) pada 289 siswi SMK Muhammadiyah menunjukkan hasil siswi dengan tingkat depresi ringan sebesar 14 (4,8%),sedang 15 (5,1%), berat 4 (3,1%), dan sangat berat 2 (0,6%). Siswi dengan tingkat ansietas ringan sebesar 95 (32,8%), sedang 13 (4,5%), berat 4 (1,4%), dan sangat berat 3 (1,3%). Siswi dengan tingkat stres ringan sebesar 112 (38,8%), sedang 17 (5,9%), berat 8 (2,7%), dan sangat berat 2 ( 0,6%). Dari data diatas menunjukkan jumlah total siswi yang mengalami depresi adalah 35 (12%), ansietas 115 (40%), dan stres 139 (48%). Kegiatan sekolah untuk mengatasi persoalan yang dialami oleh siswi adalah melalui guru BK ketika siswi mempunyai masalah sehingga sifatnya masih insidental. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan sekolah masih jarang melakukan kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan tentang persoalan yang dialami oleh siswa. Tingkat pengetahuan guru dan siswi tentang deteksi dini dan pencegahan depresi masih kurang sehingga sangat diperlukan kegiatan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang deteksi dini dan pencegahan depresi pada remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini berupa transformasi ilmu tentang peningkatan pengetahuan deteksi dini dan mencegah depresi pada remaja. Hasil dari kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan tentang deteksi dini dan pencegahan depresi menunjukkan 275 (95,1%) siswa mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan tinggi, 12 (4,1%) siswa mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan sedang, dan 2 (0.6%) siswa mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan rendah. Saran untuk kegiatan selanjutnya adalah memberikan materi pelatihan yang melibatkan guru BK dan perwakilan orang tua tentang teknik-teknik untuk mencegah depresi pada remaja.

Abstract

kill about using LEGO in mathematics teaching and learning to mathematics teachers. This conducted into three stages of training and two stages of real teaching. The stages of the training were introducing the use of LEGO in mathematics teaching and learning, designing sets of teaching and learning activities using LEGO as the media, and peer teaching. The real teaching conducted in two stages of three meetings for each stages. Twelve mathematics teachers from five schools of Muhammadiyah in Surakarta were participated in this training. The teachers have technically trained with new experiences using LEGO as media in mathematics learning and have developed five sets of lesson plans for the topics of fractions, sets, proportion, linear equation with one variable, and statistics. The real teaching for the topic of fractions was conducted in two of those five schools. The results indicate the learning activities designed support students understanding and attitude in mathematics.

Abstract

The issues facing the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Madukoro and Magelang Regency Wonogiri is a low level of understanding of knowledge about SNP, inequalities in educational development, objective conditions of teachers and resources involved have the ability of low, low management capabilities of the madrasa, lack the support of stakeholders in the development of the madrasa. The purpose of the research is accomplishing the implementation system national standards of education through madrasah quality development with the learning media design is good. The methods used are participatory empowerment model i.e. Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The results of the devotion to the development of quality learning through the medium of the madrassa showed good results because of the understanding of national standards of education in madrasah is in need of mentoring that is accurate in order to realize a superior madrasah and produce competent graduates through teaching with creative learning media.

Abstract

Football and journalism are two domains that are closely interrelated. Football sports news developed in various media platform, such as printed, electronic and online media. Football supporters, in general, are active audiences who are intensely consuming sports news. In the context of media literacy, the existence of football supporters as an active audience is a potential for the development of media literacy. The media literacy that be developed in this program is media literacy in the process of media production, namely football journalism writing. Football supporters generally come from young people who have the potential to increase their competence in terms of football journalism, but they have lack access for developing their competence. The solution is to provide assistance and development of media literacy through football journalism activities. This service activity involves Indonesian Fandom as a partner. Activities carried out in this community service program are training, workshops and mentoring for writing football journalism. There were twenty-five participants who participated in this activity. The results of the activity in the form of articles, which in general the theme is about local football, edited by partners. Articles that have been edited are then compiled into one text book entitled Merawat Sepakbola Indonesia (Caring for Indonesian Football). The book was successfully printed as many as two hundred copies, and sold through networks owned by partners, and involved workshop participants as resellers. Thus, this program has succeeded in increasing football literacy among supporters, and fostering entrepreneurial networks of supporters through the publishing and distribution of book sales.

Abstract

The aim of the society services through the air broadcast in Radio of Indonesian Republic of Surakarta were: (1) to improve the society’s motivation, especially for them who were students in order to appreciate the literature; (2) to improve the society’s concerns, especially for those who students in improving their literature appreciation ability in order to attain the man who has wise character because the literature have the education values which could be the basic consideration in conducting the behaviour; (3) to enlarge the listeners’  knowledge, especilly for the students who need the knowledge of linguistics, literature, and its teaching; (4) to create the institution cooperation between the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and the government institution i.e. Radio of Indonesian Republic o f Surakarta. The social service was conducted in RRI Surakarta, in the form of speech broadcast, based on the paper prepared before. The broadcast activity is conducted by recording before its on air. The recording process used the facility of RRI Surakarta by the guidance of RRI Surakarta staff as the responsible or the recording section. The broadcast is delivered by a speaker with the different topics but in the same theme. The broadcast theme of the three months is “Improving the Ability of Literature Appreciation through the Broadcast Guidance of Bahasa Indonsia in RRI Surakarta”. The six times broadcast activity planned for three months can be conducted four times of new broadcast and twice of recorded broadcast.

Abstract

Pengguna jalan yang paling rentan (vulnerable road users) adalah pejalan kaki, pengguna kendaraan tidak bermotor, anak-anak, dan manusia lanjut usia (manula). Masalah keselamatan lalu lintas tidak hanya terbatas bahwa tidak adanya kecelakaan, namun lebih luas yaitu terciptanya lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi para pengguna jalan. Berdasarkan kesepahaman internasional mengenai keselamatan lalu lintas yang tertuang dalam Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP), keselamatan lalu lintas telah melibatkan elemenelemen pemerintah, bisnis, dan masyarakat sipil dengan tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya keselamatan dan menurunkan angka kematian serta luka-luka akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas secara berkesinambungan terutama pada negara-negara berkembang dan transisi. Untuk menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan dan mengimplementasikan hasil audit keselamatan jalan, melalui jalan yang pemaaf yang mampu meminimalisir keparahan korban apabila terjadi tabrakan (forgiving road), jalan yang mampu menjelaskan maksud tanpa komunikasi (self-explaining road), dan jalan yang mampu menciptakan kepatuhan tanpa peringatan (self-regulating road). Salah satu faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas adalah perilaku kelalaian manusia (human error) dan tingginya kecepatan kendaraan yang melampaui batas kecepatan yang ditetapkan (speeding). Strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam rangka mengurangi pelanggaran batas kecepatan maksimum (speeding) yaitu dengan cara membatasi kecepatan maksimum kendaraan. Berdasar hasil analisis dari percentile 85th dan probabilitas tingkat fatalitas pejalan kaki saat ditabrak kendaraan, diperoleh nilai batas kecepatan pada jam masuk/pulang sekolah sebesar 30 km/jam dan 50 km/jam untuk di luar jam sekolah pada medan datar dan lurus. Untuk ruas Jalan Mayor Jenderal Sungkono km 5 di depan Kampus Fakultas Teknik Unsoed Blater sepanjang 150 m ditetapkan nilai batas kecepatan maksimum sebesar 40 km/jam. Hasil analisis audit keselamatan jalan selanjutnya diimplementasikan di lapangan dengan memasang rambu lalu lintas. Penentuan titik lokasi pemasangan rambu batas kecepatan maksimum dan rambu petunjuk penyeberangan jalan dikoordinasikan dan melibatkan pihak Balai Pengelola Sarana Prasarana Perhubungan Wilayah V, Dinas Perhubungan, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Terdapat empat buah rambu lalu lintas yang dipasang di ruas Jalan Mayor Jenderal Sungkono km 5, Blater yaitu dua buah rambu batas kecepatan maksimum 40 km/jam dan dua buah rambu petunjuk penyeberangan jalan.
