Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyimak melalui penerapan teknik 5R pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian tindakan ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 yang menempuh mata kuliah KBIL di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, angket, wawancara atau diskusi, kajian dokumen, dan tes. Selanjutnya, untuk pemeriksaan validitas data digunakan triangulasi dan review informasi kunci. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskripsi komparatif untuk membandingkan hasil antar siklus. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan mahasiswa yang tidak tuntas pada prasiklus sebanyak 30 mahasiswa atau sebesar 65,22%, siklus I 41,31% atau 19 mahasiswa dan pada siklus II 10,87% atau 5 mahasiswa. Di sisi lain, terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar yaitu pada prasiklus 34,78% atau 16 mahasiswa, meningkat menjadi 58,69% atau 27 mahasiswa pada siklus I dan 89,13% atau 41 mahasiswa pada siklus II. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus hanya mencapai rata-rata 64,13 dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 73,67 pada siklus I serta menjadi 83 pada siklus II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of information and communication technology as an interactive media for teacher and student in SMPN 1 Arjosari Pacitan. This is a qualitative research. This study used an ethnographic approach. This research took place in SMP 1 Arjosari Pacitan. Interviewees in this study were the Headmaster, Head of ICT Laboratory, Administrative staff, teachers and students. Col- lecting data used observations, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was examined by using data triangulation.Data analysis used Milles and Huberman ver- sion employ data reduction, data drawing and conclusions and verification. The results in SMPN1 Arjosari showed that: (1) The development of the application of ICT still at the stage of Application. It is characterized by the educators and teachers who have been using Information Technology for tasks related to the management of school learning activities, however their use is not optimal. This school has not been able to maximize the implementation of ICT in learning. (2) The use of ICT in the assessment of learning outcomes is limited to the preparation administration course, not the process. Though the use of IT in learning outcomes assessment will provide a transformative experience for students. (3) There are three conditions which may encourage the application of ICT in learning and assessment at this school, Facilities and infrastructure are equiped with ICT, teachers are qualified as most are already certified educators, schools can choose to suit his students and undergone the implementation the implementation of Curriculum 2013 while threats factors are: the average age of teachers is more than 40 years so that spirit for self development is less encourging began to decline, the low economic back- ground of students, speed internet access which is not adequate, and the lack of special- ized personnel who handle ICT.

Abstract

n supporting the achievement of learning objectives, teachers need to be able to arrange learning tools in accordance with the applicable curriculum. The learning device functions as a guide in carrying out the learning process in the classroom. Javanese language teachers in SMP in Karanganyar Regency, in general, have been aware of the importance of renewal in developing and implementing learning tools, in accordance with the applicable curriculum. However, in reality there are still many teachers who do not understand, even still find it difficult to arrange learning tools, so there are still inaccuracies in the learning tools. Training on the preparation of learning tools for Javanese junior high school teachers, especially in Karanganyar Regency based on the applicable curriculum, was felt to be necessary. To support the effectiveness of training activities, it is necessary to innovate in its implementation. One model that can be applied is the tutorial model, with peer tutors and providing feedback. The purpose of implementing the activity by applying the model is that teachers can exchange knowledge, experience, and strengthen cooperation between peers, so that they can provide input and correction if there is inaccuracy. In addition, through giving feedback teachers can find out firsthand the deficiencies in the learning implementation plan that they put together. After applying these methods the ability of Javanese junior high school language teachers in developing learning tools in accordance with the curriculum can be increased. This can be seen from the results of the lesson plans that have been revised by the training participants.

Abstract

The objectives of this research me to describe (1) the basic formation of KKPI curriculum to establish the independence of learners, (2) preparatory of KKPI curriculum to establish the independence of the learner, (3) teacher preparation of KKPI to establish the independence of learners, (4) the learning implementation of KKPI lessons to establish the independence of learners, (5) evaluation of KKPI curriculum to establish the independence of learners. This qualitative research is conducted in SMK N 1 Donorojo Pacitan. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation. The results of this research were (1) Basic formation of KKPI curriculum at SMK N 1 Donorojo consist ing 5 foundations juridical, philosophical, sociological, psychopedagogical and science and technology. (2) Preparation of KKPI curriculum begins with the manufactured KKPI curriculum. (3) Teachers’ preparation in the formation of learners independence through KKPI learning is to increase its competence by following the activities such as seminars or education and training. (4) Implementation of KKPI learning in SMK N 1 Donorojo already refers to the components of learning. (5) Curriculum evaluation is performed to determine the suitability of the curriculum created prior to its implementation in the field.

Abstract

This qualitative study aims to examine the types and realization of the use of Code Switching communication strategies used by junior high school students when communicating in English as a foreign language. The research subjects were 30 students of SMP N IV Surakarta. The research objects were the types and realization of the use of code switching communication strategies used by students when communicating in English. Data were collected through the elicitation technique in which the participants were given the task to describe a cartoon; their speech was recorded and used as the data source. The data were analyzed qualitatively by inductive techniques using Dornyei and Myers-Scotton analysis frameworks. Research findings were interpreted by using relevant theory. The results showed that the learners used three types of code switching, namely: tag code switching, intra sentential code switching, and inter-sentential code switching. And there were three factors that contributed to the use of code switching, namely mastery of bilingual or bilingual, limited mastery of English, and as a compensation strategy. It can be concluded that the use of code switching by English learners as a foreign language is a natural and unavoidable. Because code switching is one of the communication strategies to compensate for the limited mastery of the target language.

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program induksi guru pemula (PIGP) di SMP Negeri 3 Kunduran. Metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi data. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis interaktif ang meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa perencanaan PIGP direncanakan secara bersama oleh kepala sekolah dan guru pembimbing. Kepala sekola membuat analisis kebutuhan dan ditindak lanjuti oleh guru pembimbing menjadi prioritas pembimbingan pada bulan pertama program. Pelaksanaan PIGP pada bulan kedua sampai dengan bulan kesembilan dimana pada tahab pelaksanaan guru pemula melaksanakan pembelajaran didampingi guru pembimbing dengan evaluasi dilakukan minimal satu kali tiap bulan oleh guru pembimbing. Evaluasi akhir dilaksanakan pada bulan kesepuluh dan kesebelas oleh guru pembimbing, kepala sekolah, dan pengawas untuk menentukan kelanjutan karir keprofesian guru pemula.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemandirian dalam pembelajaran matematika MTs. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian holistik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Perencanaan kemandirian dalam pembelajaran matematika disusun oleh kepala madrasah bersama dewan guru pada waktu rapat pembagian tugas, penyusunan rencana kegiatan dan anggaran tahunan atau RKAT dengan memperhatikan kondisi siswa dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Pelaksanaan kemandirian dalam pembelajaran matematika di MTs dengan mengintegrasikannyapada struktur dan muatan kurikulum, program kesiswaan. Pengintegrasian kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika terlihat dalam kegiatan membuka dan menutup  pelajaran dengan membaca doa dengan artinya yang dipimpin ketua kelas.

Abstract

As stated in UU No. 14, 2005 and PP No. 74, 2008 that teachers as proffessional educator have to possess four competences, namely: pedagogic, proffessional, character, and social. However the condition in Indonesia is not like that. In general, they are in low category, specifically in pedagogic and proffessional. Those conditions happen in biology teachers and other teacher subjects. Then the aim of this study is to observe the profile of biology teachers especially their proffessional competence pasca sertification in Surakarta residance. The population of this study is all biology teachers (332 persons) that have rechieved sertification through direct, portofolio, and PLPG program. Purposive random sampling is used to get 116 teachers. Data are collected by depth interview, documentation, and test, then the collected data are analysed by descriptive qualitative. The result shows that the profile of proffessional competence of biology teachers can be grouped into three: low, middle, and high. The teachers are low in: concept implementation, using tool of measurements, biology experiment planning, using the result of reflection, self reflection, understanding the principles and theories of savety work, doing action research, and understanding the steps of biology experiement correctly. The teachers are middle in: understanding the objective of the study, creative and innovative in implementing and developing science of biology nad correlated sciences, undesrtanding thinking process of biology, using symbolic language, undesrtanding standard competence, and understanding the scoupe of biology. They are high in: understanding the structure biology science and its correlation, selecting the material, cooking the material creatively, understanding the concepts, laws, and biology theories, undesrtanding the history of the natural science, specifically biology, understanding the basic competence of the subject or topic, updating their knowledge from many sources, and rationally qualitatively and quantitatively in understanding the process and biology law.

Abstract

In general, this study aims to improve communication and learning outcomes in mathematics with contextual oriented learning problem solving for students of MTs Negeri 1 Pemalang, Central Java. Specifically, it aims (1) to describe the improvement of mathematical communication with contextual-oriented problem solving learning for MTs students, and (2) describe the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes by contextual-oriented learning problem solving for MTs students. This class action research was conducted in 8.3 MTs Negeri 1 Pemalang class. Data sources, teachers and students. Data were collected by observation, field notes, documentation, and tests. Source and method triangulation is used for data validity. Analysis technique with constant comparison. The results of the study, in general contextual oriented problem solving learning can improve communication and mathematics learning outcomes of MTs students. Learning with contextual-oriented problem solving can improve communication and learning mathematics. Improved communication was observed from four indicators. The ability to speak until the second cycle is 62.86%. The ability to draw until cycle II is 68.57%. The ability to write until the second cycle is 74.29%. The ability to explain the concept until the second cycle is 65.71%. Learning with contextual-oriented problem solving can improve mathematics learning outcomes. Improved mathematics learning outcomes measured by the number of students who complete. The number of students who completed this study up to cycle II was 74.29%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian secara untuk mendiskripsikan kepuasan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kontekstual di SD. Secara khusus ditujukan untuk mendiskripsikan faktor-faktor satisfiers dan dissatisfiers pada kepuasan siswa SD Taman Muda Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data meliputi informasi dari guru dan siswa SD Taman Muda Kota Yogyakarta. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan siswa salam mempelajari matematika kontekstual dapat tercapai oleh faktor satisfiers. Ketidakpuasan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kontekstual akan terjadi oleh dissatisfiers. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa apabila kondisi satisfiers dapat tercapai, maka akan memberikan motivasi untuk mempelajari matematika, sehingga dapat dimungkinkan mampu menciptakan kepuasan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kontekstual. Sedangkan apabila kondisi dissatisfiers dapat tercapai, maka tidak akan memberikan motivasi untuk membelajari matematika, sehingga dimungkinkan mampu menciptakan ketidak puasan siswa dalam mempelajari matematika kontekstual.
