Penerapan Teknik 5R untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menyimak Mahasiswa Prodi PGSD FKIP UST Praheto, Biya Ebi; Sayekti, Octavian Muning

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyimak melalui penerapan teknik 5R pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian tindakan ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 yang menempuh mata kuliah KBIL di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, angket, wawancara atau diskusi, kajian dokumen, dan tes. Selanjutnya, untuk pemeriksaan validitas data digunakan triangulasi dan review informasi kunci. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskripsi komparatif untuk membandingkan hasil antar siklus. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan mahasiswa yang tidak tuntas pada prasiklus sebanyak 30 mahasiswa atau sebesar 65,22%, siklus I 41,31% atau 19 mahasiswa dan pada siklus II 10,87% atau 5 mahasiswa. Di sisi lain, terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar yaitu pada prasiklus 34,78% atau 16 mahasiswa, meningkat menjadi 58,69% atau 27 mahasiswa pada siklus I dan 89,13% atau 41 mahasiswa pada siklus II. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus hanya mencapai rata-rata 64,13 dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 73,67 pada siklus I serta menjadiÂ 83 pada siklus II.

This article aims to describe how the application of the 2M2PR (Motivation, Multimedia, Game, Strengthening, Celebration) Method Based on Quantum Learning and Traditional Games in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. This research is included in library research. The result obtained is that the integration of traditional games is an innovative effort in the language learning process related to national culture. Many methods can be developed in learning such as the 2M2PR method based on quantum learning and traditional games. Traditional games can be integrated with language learning such as snake and ladder games and crank games and many more. In this case, the teacher must have a creative attitude in selecting and modifying traditional games so that they are following the material to be taught. It is hoped that the 2M2PR method and the integration of traditional games in Indonesian language learning can increase attractiveness in language learning and make it easier for students to convey and understand the subject matter. In addition, integrating traditional games, can foster a sense of love for culture and introduce national culture to students from an early age.Ã‚Â Ã‚Â

This study to analyze and describe the educational values of characters contained in java textbooks of elementary school of curriculum DIY. This research expected to produce the findings on any character education in accodance with the guide lines of character education and culture of the ministry of National Education and Culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach in order to describe the educational values of characters cntained in Java textbooks of Elementary School of Curriculum DIY the published by Erlangga, Tiga Serangkai, and Yudistira. Based on research that has been done is produced findings that not all the values of character education according to the guidelines of character education and culture of the Ministry of National Education and Culture totaling eighteen value of character education, contained in the Java language textbook published by Yudistira, Erlangga, and the Tiga Serangkai. Therefore, researchers gave suggestions to the author of textbooks, in order to pay more attention to the contents of the content of a book he wrote. Especially in terms of integrating the values of education. then for teachers, to be more selective in choosing books that will be used to teach. On the other hand, teachers should know and understand the values of character education contained in the book uses.Keywords: character, textbooks, javanesse language

Â Abstrak: If we want to learn one language, one should know the target of the vocabulary itâ€™s self. If they have much vocabulary, they will be more skillful in languages. Reading Opening Window The world is a pearl word that describes the importance of reading habits among people. Reading can provide a wealth of knowledge and information from different disciplines in any part of the world. Seeing this, reading has an important role to educate the next generation of the nation. The term reading culture will be a mere discourse if it does not begin with reading habits from an early age. It is the habit that will build the reading culture in Indonesia. According to data from UNESCO in 2012 mentioned that reading interest in Indonesia is only 0.001. That is every 1000 residents only one person who has an interest in reading. The low interest in reading in Indonesia is of particular concern to academics. TerasÂ Library is one of the solutions to instill interest and reading habits in elementary school early on. The habit that is planted early on can be a character that is embedded in students to adulthood. The TerasÂ Library will bring the book closer to the students so that students can read the book casually according to the characteristics of elementary school-age children. With the cultivation of interest and reading habit from an early age, it is expected in the long run there is no longer the term "Generation Zero Book" in Indonesia.

Early reading is an essential skill that is needed to be accelerated through application-based media. This study aims to develop Pancalis as a medium for the online teaching of early reading. This study used the Research and Development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model. The subjects were two experts as well as 18 teachers and five students of elementary schools. They were established using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used questionnaires and scales. The data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results show that: 1) at the analysis stage through literature study, it can be concluded that Pancalis as an Android-based application is an alternative learning media for the teaching of early-reading; while the result of field study shows teachers and students need learning media for early reading that can accommodate distance learning; 2) at the design stage, the Pancalis as an Android-based application for early-reading has been produced; 3) while at the end of the development stage, an assessment was carried out through an expert validation scale and it was found that the Pancalis is very suitable for the teaching of early-reading; while the practicality response questionnaire of teachers and students shows that Pancalis is very practical to use.

Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus hanya mencapai rata-rata 64,13 dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 73,67 pada siklus I serta menjadi 83 pada siklus II.

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of humanitarian feature learning media in enhancing the ability to write a short story class X SMAN 2 Bantul. Research design with a quasi-experimental wich design of a control group of non - equivalence. The sample in this research was 72 students, divided into experimental class ( X. IPA2 ) and the control class (X. IPA 4). The collection of data through tests that test writing short stories, questionnaires, and interviews. T-test calculation results showed that the scores t is greater than t table ( th = 4,804 > tt = 1,980 ) at the significance level of 5% with db 70. Shceffe test calculation results between groups using data posttest control group and the experimental group obtained F count ( F'h = 21.392 ) is greater than the F table ( F't = 3.985 ) with 70 db at significance level of 5 %. This suggests that learning to write short stories using learning media feature of humanity in the experimental group was more effective than learning to write short stories without using learning media feature of humanity in the control group. The questionnaire results showed that the majority of students, 55.5 % feel learning media feature given humanity, capable of inspiring them both in terms of appearance and structure of the short story ideas that include titles, conflict, character, setting, and problem resolution . The works of students who use the medium of learning in the form of human features appear to be more structured , both in terms of the appearance of ideas ranging from story ideas, titles, and logical thinking as well as the structure of the short story ( plot, setting, and characterization). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada aspek membaca permulaan di kelas 2 SD Negeri Pandeyan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah pengamatan atau observasi, angket, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskripsi komparatif. Peneliti membandingkan hasil sebelum penelitian dengan hasil pada akhir setiap siklus. Selain itu juga digunakan teknik analisis kritis dengan tujuan untuk mengungkapkan kelebihan dan kekurangan kinerja siswa dan guru selama proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi membaca permulaan siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik muatan bahasa Indonesia kelas 2 SD Negeri Pandeyan dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan metode scramble. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat sebagai berikut: (1) Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 50% serta 85% siswa menyatakan senang mengikuti pembelajaran. antusiasme siswa dalam pembelajaran terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I 57% menjadi 78% pada siklus II. Keaktifan siswa dalam apersepsi pada siklus I 50% meningkat menjadi 78% pada siklus II. Selanjutnya untuk keaktifan siswa selama proses KBM pada siklus I 57% meningkat menjadi 78% pada siklus II. Kemudian untuk keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan tanya jawab pada siklus I 50% menjadi 64% pada siklus II.
