Abstract

This paper focuses on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) learning at the high school level. The aim of the research is to measure the extent to which the achievement of fiqh learning at the high school level can be improved with the blended learning method. Concept analysis method is used to understand the concept of blended learning and explain its implementation in the field. This research is a class action research which refers to the Kemmis model consisting of four components namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. It is expected that the blended learning method can improve the achievement of fiqh learning at the high school level. The research found that in the first phase of classroom action research, students have not been able to adjust themselves to learning using the blended learning method, especially with the Kahoot application. Most students are still fixated on conventional learning. Basically, however, the blended learning method can generate high attractiveness for students. Enthusiasm and focus on learning become higher. The feedback obtained shows that 100% of students claim to have learned something, 100% recommend it to be reused and 80% welcome this method with fun. The study suggests that the composition in the placement between direct communication with face to face and online must be appropriate, so that an improvement in fiqh learning can be achieved. Keywords: blended learning, fiqh learning, learning outcome

Abstract

The problems of Islamic education in Indonesia has been so far related to the dichotomy of knowledge resulting in the formation of the mindset in society that considers the graduates of public education are more advanced and successful, while graduates of Islamic education only become religious propagators and are less reliable in the workplace. Islamic education is not seen as an integral part in nation-building. Therefore, certain ideas are required to solve these problems. One of the great ideas was expressed by Muhammad Iqbal; that education is not a stagnant system, but rather an ongoing process and affected by the times. Iqbal proposed his ideas on education with reference to his thoughts about man; that man has the power to be free without any pressure. Thus, Islamic education desired by Iqbal is a dynamic and contextual Islamic education.Keyword: reconstruction, Islamic education, Muhammad Iqbal

Abstract

Montessori method is a method which makes children the central of the educational process, and teachers become directors, the guide, without much intervention, independent learning activities of children. The focus of this paper is how Islamic education can be combined with Western methods. This research used a qualitative approach. The subject in this study was determined with purposive sampling. Data collection in this study used the method of observation, interviews, and field note. The results of this research show that the reason for using Montessori method is because this method does not classify the children based on their age. The application of discipline at Brainy Bunch International Islamic School uses ground rules and the sunnah. Islamic education values are applied in the Brainy Bunch through Islamic subjects and Brainy Bunch’s statement: to produce a dynamic Muslims who practices the teachings of Al-Quran and Hadeeth as their true guidance in life, and teachers who are English proficient and trained in the Montessori method of teaching as the output of this school. Keywords: Islamic educational values, Montessori method

Abstract

Islam as the majority religion in Indonesia has an important role in maintaining inter-religious harmony. As is known in the Qur'an it is written that Islam is a religion of rahmatan lil 'alamin so that religion should provide peace and tranquility anywhere, including in Indonesia. This has implications for the process of implementing Islamic education in Indonesia. However, the reality on the ground is that there are still frequent claims and justifications for the truths produced by each party, religious learning is still doctrinal, and Islamic education material is formulated and delivered using only one perspective. To respond to the phenomenon that becomes academic anxiety, it is necessary to formulate a more humanistic Islamic education. So, Islamic education that is built must be adjusted to the reality that exists in the community. If the Indonesian nation juridically accommodates religion and internally Muslims are divided, the design of Islamic education must be developed in an inclusive, accommodative-selective and multi-perspective manner.Keywords: inclusive Islamic education, accommodative, multi-perspectives

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between spirituality and stress on college student who work on the final project. Subjects in this study are Islamic college student and are working on the final project at least one semester or six months. Characteristics subject is men and women from the age of 20- 27 years, amounting to 82 people. Hypothesis proposed in this research is there is a negative relationship between spirituality with stress on college student who work on the final project. The higher the spirituality the lower the stress, the lower the spirituality the higher the stress. The data collected in this study used two measuring tools given on the subject, ie stress scale on thesis based on Sarafino scale theory (Permana, 2009) and Spirituality Orientation Inventory (SOI) compiled by Wahyuningsih (2009) and refers to Elkins theory.This research uses parametric analysis technique of product moment from Pearson. The analysis of this research showed results (r) -0.338 and p = 0.001 (p <0.01). These results indicate a negative relationship between spirituality with the stress of college student who are working on thesis. The higher the spirituality the lower the thesis stress on the college student, the lower the spirituality the higher the thesis stress on the college student. Abstract

This research aims to: (1) review textbooks used in PAI learning students superb mild mental retardation SLB Bhakti Kencana Berbah, (2) review compliance with the condition of PAI textbook elementary school students superb mild mental retardation, (3) hold the development of learning modules that comply with elementary school students an incredible class I mild mental retardation. This research is a research and development (R&D), with the aim of developing learning modules for PIE. The research model is used to produce a particular product, and testing kefektifan product. As for who will be developed in this research is the 4-D model (Four-D models). This model consists of four stages of development, namely depine (definition), design (Design), develop (development), and desseminate (Spread). Implementation of research and development using the method diskriptif, evaluative, and experimental. The subject test 7 students, both early stage or both. Testing instruments in the form of sheet material for expert validation, media experts, colleagues, friends, teachers and student response. The results showed that: (1) design learning materials of the existing Islam textbook used at Special Elementary school for children with Mild mental Retardation (SDLB C)  is   the same as with public schools which refers to the 2006 curriculumn (KTSP) is terms, of the standard (SI) Standard, askomptensi (SK), and basic competence (KD). (2) The existing textbook has very difficult material to form  with the condition and capability of the students.  (3) the product validation was performed for the design model of the developed module before it was tested and obtained good result. The  validation was conducted by the material expert, media expert, colleague, class teachers, and students. After being tested in the initial ang second stages, the module quality reviewed from the aspects of content, language, pictures, presentation,and  images, as well as serving good quality Sedn kegrafisaa aspects, i.e. in accordance with the characteristics and abilities of the students, so that the feasibility for elementary school students superb mild mental retardation (C) SLB Bhakti kencana. Keywords: development, module, Islamic education, SDLB C

Abstract

This paper was intended to describe that it is highly recommended and important to have a sophisticated understanding of the qur’an al-Ahzab verse 33 concerning the rights of women to take action outside of domestic work such as career, social, and education. Because of the misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the Qur’anic text of al-Ahzab verse 33, there are still people with narrow paradigms that cause the enslavement of women in domestic household affairs only which is very contradictory to the moral message of the Qur’an. Therefore, this paper will present the moral message that is explicitly contained in the Qur’an al-Ahzab verse 33. The study deploys a descriptive- analytic method using hermeneutic methodology, and the data are gathered through library reviews. The study finds that in Qur’an al-Ahzab verse 33, women do not only have domestic duties as housewives, but also have rights to take part in the world of work or career, social world, and education. It has to be surely maintained to develop the potential of women as fellow servants of God who both have the potential and also at the same time play a role to help aspects of the family economy. What happened in some societies is an output from the interpretation of the normative or textual text of the Qur’an that makes a gap between men and women which excludes the message of ethics of the Qur’an that put forward the value of equality in a proportional context. Keywords: Womens right, hermeneutics, equality

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the role of organization culture of the Association of Nahdlatul Ulama’s Male and Female Students (Ikatan Pelajar Nahdlatul Ulama dan Ikatan Pelajar Putra Putri Nahdlatul Ulama/IPNU-IPPNU) in developing Islamic education in Sleman Regency. It argues that as student organization affiliated to an Islamic organization, IPNU-IPPNU has an important role to play in developing Islamic education among youth and students through their various programs and activities designed in accordance with their basic values and orientation as well as the advance of science and technology. Keywords: student organization, organizational culture, Islamic education

Abstract

Rabbani’s character emphasizes the functionalization of  Godliness in the learning process through spiritual values, honesty, sincerity, compassion, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, communicative and prioritizes emphasis on affective aspects (heart). Rabbani character has positive implications for fostering spiritual intelligence in the education process. The purpose of maximizing Rabbani character education in the context of learning is to actualize the potential of spirituality possessed by students, fostering sensitivity and religious responsibility of students through exemplary values, habituation, advice, warnings and punishments. Efforts to apply Rabbani character education in fostering spiritual intelligence can be initiated through the development of religious education curricula, familiarizing Islamic values, creating a cool and beautiful school environment, and applying disciplinary values in the learning process. The method used in the study is descriptive-analytical with interview methods to get maximum results. Keywords: Rabbani character, spiritual intelligence, religious culture.

Empowering women in various dimensions of religious social life has received global attention among women observers and observers of development issues. In building religious harmony, women can play a role in two sectors, namely the role of women in the family and the role of women in social life. In the family, the role of women as a wife and at the same time as a mother becomes an example in acting in the family.
