Abstract

Bagi para pendidik dan orangtua hendaknya melakukan pengajaran sesuai prioritas, karena dalam pendidikan agama Islam tidak hanya mementingkan segi kognitifnya saja, melainkan sesi afiktif justru lebih utama. Dari kisah Luqman itulah dapat diambil contoh bagaimana membentuk nilai-nilai karakter. Maka dengan mengetahui metode yang tepat, diharapkan akan lebih baik hasil yang didapat. Terdapat tiga metode yang digunakan Luqman dalam pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter: 1). Pemberian Mauizah (untuk kebaikan, kelapangan hati, kelembutan hati dan menghilangkan kerasnya hati), 2). Pengajaran dengan Kasih Sayang, seperti panggilan lembut Luqman kepada anaknya (yaa bunayya),  3). Pengajaran Bertahap (Pendidikan Aqidah, Pendidikan Syari’ah, Pendidikan Akhlak).

Abstract

AbstractMelalui pembelajaran kooperatif model make a match dengan tehnik perpaduan perangkat multimedia peserta didik mampu membangun sendiri pengetahuan, menemukan langkah-langkah  dalam mencari  penyelesaian  dari suatu materi yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik, baik secara individu maupun berpasangan dengan kelompok.  Dengan demikian maka penelitian tindakan kelas ini diperoleh simpulan sebagai berikut; 1) Penerapan  pembelajaran kooperatif  dengan model make a match dapat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada materi akhlak tercela, dengan hasil nilai pengamatan 86,21 % (kategori sangat menarik). 2) Dari hasil observasi memperlihatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar, sebagaimana terlihat dalam perolehan nilai hasil belajar rata-rata kelas  pada siklus I adalah  79,50, merupakan hasil pembelajaran di atas KKM, akan tetapi masih ada yang belum mencapai KKM sejumlah 10 peserta didik (33,33%). Sedangkan perolehan nilai hasil belajar rata-rata kelas pada siklus II adalah sebesar 84,31, dan seluruh peserta didik telah mencapai KKM (100,00%).

Abstract

This article describes the implementation of entrepreneurial activities as an approach to the character education. This was a field research wich the data collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation. The research subject is SMPIT Al-Kautsaar Yogyakarta and the object is its entrepreneurial activities. This research found that SMPIT Al-Khairaat Yogyakarta formulated seven entrepreneurial characters as achievement of students' target characters, namely: 1) creative & innovative, 2) honest, 3) abstinence from fighting and hard work, 4) cooperation and togetherness, 5) meticulous , 6) responsibility, and 7) struggle. The seven characters were instilled through the methods of awareness, habituation, and discipline. Those entrepreneurial activities were meant to internalizing Islamic values in students. The internalization is carried out through steps of transformation, transactions, and trans-internalization. As the result, the entrepreneurial activities sucsesfully managed to instill a sincere attitude, willing to share, and honest in students.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dapat didefinisikan sebagai peningkatan dalam peningkatan dalam ukuran (fisik) atau perubahan kuantitatif pada materil sesuatu sebagai akibat dari adanya pengaruh lingkungan. Perubahan kuantitatif ini dapat berupa pembesaran atau pertambahan dari tidak ada menjadi ada, dari kecil menjadi besar, dari sedikit menjadi banyak dan sebagainya. Adapun perkembangan adalah proses perubahan kualitatif yang mengacu pada mutu fungsi organ-organ jasmaniah, bukan organ-organ jasmaniah itu sendiri. Dengan kata lain, penekanan arti perkembangan itu terletak pada penyempurnaan fungsi psikologis yang disandang oleh organ-organ fisik Teknik analisis penelitian ini melibatkan interpretasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif (penalaran kritis). Sehingga dapat disimpilkan bahwa: Perkembangan peserta didik memang berada pada masa transisi dari masa anak-anak menuju ke masa remaja dan dari masa remaja menuju ke masa dewasa. Pada masa itu, peserta didik melalui masa yang disebut masa remaja atau pubertas. Masa remaja ini rentan sekali akan godaan yang datang, mulai dari godaan perempuan sehingga banyak para remaja yang tidak kuat imannya melakukan hubungan di luar nikah, maraknya narkoba dan miras mengintai para pemuda dengan meksud untuk merusak generasi muda bangsa.  Kata Kunci: pendidik, Permasalahan, Pertumbuhan, Perkembangan, peserta didik

Abstract

Akhlak (morality) is one of the three basic frameworks of islamic teachings (akidah, syari'ah and akhlak) which have important position. Moral expression is concrete evidence of the application and embodiment of aqidah and syari'ah, thus, represents the quality of Muslim’s faith. This research is a qualitative research conducted with literature study. This study seeks to explain the ethical concept of al-Ghazali and its application in the world of adult education, as explained by al-Ghazali in his works. The author limited the writings of al-Ghazali which are used as the basis for this research study, only to works written in the last years of his life, especially when he lived life as a Sufi. This research found that al-Ghazali divided adult education methods into two, general and specific. The general method applies to everyone and the specific method applies specifically to everyone based on the results of self-introspection.

Abstract

This study discusses Ivan Illich’s progressive ideas from the perspective of Islamic Education Philosophy in the millennial era. This study uses a qualitative library research approach and uses content analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are several principles of learning from Ivan Illich that are in line with Islamic Education Philosophy. Firstly, the meaning of learning as knowledge sharing activities is not a school commodity. Secondly, there is equality of learning rights and without discrimination. While the principles that are considered unsuitable include two things. Firstly, the goal of Islamic education is to make people of good morals (akhlaqul karimah), while the learning objective of Ivan Illich is to realize social equality. Secondly, according to Ivan Illich, the concept of a perfect human being is human with full of hope based on effort and negates mercy (epimetheus), whereas, in Islam, a perfect person is a person of noble character (ulul albab). As for the context of the millennial generation, Ivan Illich’s progressive education will be very useful in supporting an active, creative, dynamic, and confident attitude that will be balanced if it is complemented by the spiritual nature of religiously based education.

Abstract

Education is very much related to knowledge and science. Therefore, it is important to understand education on the concept of knowledge. In this context, in order to understand the concept of education in Islam, we need to scrutiny the verses on which al-Qur’an talk about knowledge and science. This method of writing thematically collects the verses of the al-Qur'an that discuss a certain topic and arranges them as much as possible according to the period of their revelation. With deductive reasoning, we draw conclusions from various theories and reviews. Science is the effort from a process carried out by methods and produces a systematic and structured new knowledge that will be used as a basic guideline for humans. There are three laws on learning difference sciences: compulsory, sunnah and haram. One of the most important benefit of learning is increasing the dignity of learners. Application in science can be done early in formal education in accordance with the verses of the Al-Quran.

Abstract

In pre-Islamic times, women did not have the same rights as men including in the world of education. But in social history, in the early days of Islam women had the same right to obtain education. This research put forward a thesis, that in historical record, women have the equal educational rights. In the time of Prophet, there were discussion forums between the Prophet Muhammad and Muslim women. This equality of rights also continued in the era of classical Islam, where women also received education in the Kuttab, Madrasas, and colleges. In Indonesia, the passion for muslim women's movement in the world of education is very high, this can be seen from the many movements carried out by female leaders in the world of education to the establishment of many Islamic women's organizations in Indonesia from pre-independence to post-independence.

Abstract

Da'wah is one of the pillars of upholding the noble religion of Islam. As a form of worship for the perpetrators, and a way of calling out the truth to people outside of Islam, or who are in Islam. So, it is very necessary to have serious attention in instilling the characteristics of the da'wah implementers, or the preachers. Especially in their morality, as one of the most important assets in the success of the da'wah. Given that in the present era, there are so many people who dedicate themselves to da'wah, but in reality, they are the ones who destroy the image of Islam and the preaching itself with their bad behavior and morals. In the Al Quran, in Surah Maryam verses 41 to 50, the dialogue of the Prophet Abraham - 'alayhis salam - is narrated as one of the most important role models for preachers across generations. The preacher must have intellectual and emotional intelligence, must be patient and elegant. Without criticizing and making people run away from the religion. In fact, the characteristics of Muslims in Indonesia are the characteristics of being gentle, friendly, and cooperative. These findings contribute to the preachers so that what they preach brings many benefits, not harm.

Abstract

Basically, the real purpose of Islamic education is to produce moral students. The problem is that in Islamic Education there are still many moral deviations committed by people of various backgrounds and ages in Indonesia. Islamic education has not fully led to moral education. The purpose of this study was to determine the biography and thoughts of 'Athiyah al-Abrashyi in education, and the concept of moral education for students. This research method is library research. The results of this study indicate that the educational basis of 'Athiyah Al-Abrasyi brings the concept of a learning process that leads students to become adult humans. To achieve the true goal of Islamic education, 'Athiyah al-Abrashyi offers a concept of educational thought that can be used as a reference for education in Indonesia today.
